Deirdre eased Minerva toward the door, and she swayed and stumbled the entire way to Zemuel.

Deirdre watched her daughter look up at her husband. Minerva whispered, “You should have told me I was obsessed.”

He caught her gently in his arms. “I tried. You bit me, so I called your mother. Mothers are handy things.”

Deirdre watched as her son-in-law carried her daughter off for a bath and some food. Mr. Norman came up to her and offered her his arm. “Lady Deirdre, if you would come with me, I have prepared lunch for two on the terrace.”

  Deirdre grinned. “Sounds delightful, Norman.”

Of course, Corudet didn’t just hold the promise of love for her daughter. The perks of dating a gargoyle were just beginning to make themselves apparent.

She had prayed for magic in her life, but she had gotten so much more than she imagined.

  Author’s Note

So, there. Minerva’s story. Next, we will deal with Freddy and her life as a hellhound.

Hellhound in a Handbag tells the story of Freddy, her attachment to her mage and a bid for freedom that could kill her... hope to get to it soon.

  Thanks for reading,

  About the Author

Viola Grace (aka Zenina Masters (aka Viola Masters for dark erotica)) is a Canadian sci-fi/paranormal romance writer with ambitions to keep writing for the rest of her life. She specializes in short stories because the thrill of discovery, of all those firsts, is what keeps her writing.

A writer who crafts a story that catches you up, whirls you around and sets you down with a smile on your face is all she endeavours to be. She prefers to leave the drama to those who are better suited to it; she always goes for the cheap laugh.

Listening to readers has gotten her this far, and with her 300th short story behind her and 400th in the near future, she will continue to listen.
