Privileged Page 12

by Stevens, Madison

Hunger raged in me, and I could almost feel his eyes caressing my body. I jumped when his hands skimmed up my legs and came to rest on the inside of my thighs.

“Open up for me,” his voice ragged with need.

His eyes flicked to my own. I closed them and let my legs fall open.

  “Open your eyes,” he groaned.

My eyes opened and followed as he kneeled on this floor, his head level with my opening. I could feel myself flame at being so exposed.

“Beautiful,” he said. I looked down.

His gaze was fixed on my own. Something fluttered deep inside me. His warm tongue flicked my clit. My back bowed in response, and I moaned loudly.

Two strong hands gripped my hips and yanked me down the bed until I was just level with the edge. Pushing my thighs back, I watched as Gavin set his mouth onto me and speared me with his tongue. In and out it went, flicking across my swollen clit each time.

My orgasm came like a freight train. I gripped the sheets below me and squeezed my thighs as it came in waves.

I fell back against the bed, exhausted and relaxed. When I finally felt my senses return, I unwound my legs from around his head. Gavin grinned, clearly pleased with his work. Not that I could complain. I was more than pleased.

He placed wet kisses on me as he moved onto the bed. Sliding further back, I made room for him. Instead of beside me, Gavin nestled himself between my legs. I gasped as I felt his length pressed against my stomach. Hard and throbbing, I longed to have him filling me.

I turned to stare into his beautiful face.

  “Hey,” I said shyly.

“Hey.” He kissed my nose and then my mouth. My sex lingered on him, and the thought of what he had done only made me excited again.

I slipped my fingers into his hair and ran my nails down his neck and back. Gavin groaned and bucked his hips against mine. The hard length between my folds and bumped my aching clit.

Continuing my exploration, I ran my nails lightly down his back and stopped at his chiseled ass. Not thinking, I reached out and grasped each side, forcing him to move against my clit again.

This time we both moaned at the friction.

“Em,” he panted in my ear.

I lifted my hips and slipped against him again.

“Em, really,” his voice was pained. “Condom,” he whispered.

“I’m on the pill,” I whispered back.

Gavin shot up and stared down at me. “Why are you on the pill?”

I shrugged. “Because. Period regulation, and you never know.”

“You shouldn’t just trust anyone,” he said. Anger was seeping into his voice.

I placed a hand over his heart and felt the steady rhythm. “I’m not trusting just anyone,” I said.

Gavin lowered himself once again, his forehead resting on my own.

“I’ve only been with Chet,” I said, heat coloring my face. “And it was only once with him so…” I trailed off.

He closed his eyes, and I watched his long lashes rest against his cheek.

“You now I’ve been with others,” he said after some time. “And I know it’s not fair, but the idea of you with anyone else just…” His face tightened at the words.

I kissed his lips gently. “The only one that matters is you. You’re the only one I want.”

“I’ve never gone without protection.” He opened his eyes and stared at me. “You don’t have to do this for me.”

I gripped his hips hard with my thighs. “Who says I’m doing it for you?”

I grinned and pulled him toward me. The head slipped past my folds and for a fraction of a second I felt fear. I looked into his face, and my fears vanished. He held himself back, watching me as he slipped further and further in. It was then that I knew, in Gavin’s arms, I would never feel anything but love.

I wiggled as his slow decent became more maddening than careful. The dull ache from before was back, and I was certain if he didn’t start moving soon, I was going to go insane. Without thought, I threw my legs around his middle and pulled him hard against me.

“Emma,” he shouted, as he landed on me.

There was a slight pain at being suddenly filled, but as I moved slightly, the pain turned into an ache.

I moaned when he shifted above me.

“Fuck, Em, I’m so sorry,” Gavin said and started to pull out.

My nails bit into him, and my eyes shot open. “Do it again,” I whispered.

His eyes widened, and I felt him twitch inside me. I moaned again, and this time when he slammed into me, an intense burn flared inside me.

Gavin panted in my ear, still holding himself back for me, going at a slowed pace, like I was glass. This wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted for us to lose ourselves in one another.

I rolled my head to the side and nipped at his ear. He shuddered above me and bucked his hips hard into me. I moaned in response.

“Gavin,” I whispered. “Let me love you.”

Again he twitched inside me. I groaned and ground my clit against him.

“I can’t,” he panted. His voice came out hoarse.

I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him with everything I had. “I want you. All of you. And believe me when I say, there is nothing I can’t handle when it comes to how you love me.”

I watched as my words sank in. I bit his earlobe harder and slammed myself up onto him. He groaned loudly.

“Now,” I whispered in his ear. “Fuck me, or I’m going to take over.”

Growling, he reached under my back and gripped my shoulders. I gasped when he slammed into me, a jolt hitting my clit. I wound my arms and legs around him and held on as he surged into me over and over.

My clit rubbed viciously against his pelvis and I moaned. Spurred on by my sounds, Gavin pulled his hands from behind my back and sat on his knees. Before I could even ask, he had lifted my hips and was working himself into me with deep strokes. His thumb rolled hard again my clit, and I could feel my orgasm build as he slammed against my cervix.

His hands dropped back to my hips and moved frantically against me. I gripped his thighs as he slammed me down one last time, my orgasm milking him as he came deep inside.

  Chapter Nineteen

I shuddered when he laid me down and fell on top, our bodies shaken from the incredibly strong orgasms we’d experienced.

Gavin breathed heavily by my head. “Are you okay?” he panted. “I didn’t hurt you did I?”

I grinned at him. “When can we do that again?”

He chuckled and groaned when he swelled inside me. I moaned at the movement.

“Sooner if you keep tempting me.” He turned to look at me. His boyish smile melted everything in me.

I shifted below him, slipping him in further. He groaned.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” I said haughtily.

Gavin sat up and stared into my eyes, his face so solemn.

“You know I would die before I hurt you,” he said.

I wrapped my arms around him and drew him into a solid hug.

  “I know,” I whispered.

“I lost it at Chet’s,” he said near my ear. “I wanted to wreck his face, not his house.”

I soothed my hand through his hair. “I’m glad you didn’t,” I said. “He’s not worth that.”

Gavin leaned back. The dark look in his eyes made me shudder. “You gave him something precious, and he ruined it.”

I leaned forward and kissed his lips. He trembled at my touch like I was the most important thing he’d ever known.

“Now I’m giving it to you,” I said and stared deep into his eyes. The riot of emotions there made me ache for him.

In one swoop I had him pinned against the bed, my mouth hot on his. I nibbled on his bottom lip and felt his hands pressing against my hips, seating him further into me. I sat up on him when his hips surged into me and cried out.

  He stilled below me.

“Don’t you dare stop,” I groane
d at him.

I looked down to see the smirk I loved back in place.

  “Yes, ma’am,” he said.

His hands moved from my hips once I’d found a rhythm and pulled gently on my hard nipples. Each roll and tug shot a line down to my clit.

I moved hard and fast against him, but it wasn’t enough. Grunting in frustration, I looked down at his smug face.

“Here.” He lifted me up and placed me on the bed.

I huffed at the sudden emptiness. He moved behind me and pushed my arms down on the bed, knees spread apart. I felt him come up behind me and push in hard and fast. I groaned as he started to move.

  “Gavin,” I said.

He leaned forward and grabbed my hand, pushing me further into the bed and shifting our position so he hit further inside.

With my hand in his, Gavin put our fingers on my clit and rubbed as he moved in me. I rotated from rubbing myself to feeling him slid in me and then back to my clit. He growled in my ear, as I continued moving my fingers back and forth.

Gavin set back up and gripped my hips. He slammed into me.

“Em,” he panted. “I’m so close.”

“Me too,” I said and pressed my thumb to my clit while my fingers scissored around him.

I shouted my release as he slammed into my one last time.

We collapsed on the bed, tired and worn.

Gavin kissed my bare shoulder and neck.

“I love you,” he whispered at my ear.

My heart leapt into my throat.

  “Me too,” I whispered back.

  * * *

I stared out the window as the wind knocked the snow off the tops of the trees. Aside from the major storm, the days that followed hadn’t been nearly as bad. We were even able to move Gavin’s car to the garage after some shoveling.

It had been nice with just the two of us this past week. Eating, playing, and loving. I was seeing the side of Gavin I had always liked and wondered about all the rumors that had followed him in school. It all seemed so long ago.

I jumped when a black car made its way down the drive, sliding and stopping from time to time.

  I sighed.

“She really can’t drive,” Gavin said from behind me. I leaned back against his solid chest.

“Mom was never one for the snow. It’s one of the many reasons she moved to the city.” I tilted my head back to look at him.

He smiled down at me and suddenly the surprise visit from Mom didn’t seem so bad.

We made our way through the kitchen to watch as she parked outside the garage. I giggled some as she tried to make her way to the door by stepping on our footprints. Judging by her cursing, it wasn’t going so well.

I opened the door as she walked up the stairs.

“Oh, honey, I really don’t know why you’d leave the city for this.” She brushed past me, and I made a face at Gavin.

If I knew anything, I knew my mother.

“Hi, Mom,” I said and shut the door.

“Merry Christmas, dear. Or well, Merry Late Christmas.” She turned to give me quick hug. “I didn’t realize you and Gavin were on vacation together.” The smirk on her face was enough to know that she thought she knew best.

“Uh.” I looked to him for help. “It was sort of last minute.”

Mom turned to hug Gavin. “I hope you don’t take issue with me, even if your mother does.”

Gavin’s eyes darkened at her comment. “Of course not. My mother’s battles are not my own.”

He pulled back, and I felt the urge to run to him. All through our past week, we’d avoided the topic that really meant everything. His parents.

“Oh good,” Mom said. When she pulled away, I finally got a good look at her. Her cheeks were slightly sunken in and for a woman who rarely had a hair out of place, she was looking far more frazzled than I had ever seen her.

“Mom?” I took her hand and helped with her coat. “What’s going on?”

She sat slowly on the stool at the island counter. Her eyes shimmered with tears and for the first time, I was worried for my mother.

“She turned down my latest shoot,” she said sadly. “I’m not surprised, but there should be more to years of dedication than this.”

I brought out several mugs and started up a pot of coffee.

“Maybe,” I said, grabbing out the cream. “She just wasn’t interested in it.”

My mother laughed. “I would have thought that as well if this shoot wasn’t her idea from the start.”

I looked over to Gavin who stood solemnly in the corner.

“It’s more than all that.” She wrung her hands in front of her. Tears fell as she hung her head. “She’s fixed all the models. Some sort of pact, and I’ve been run out.”

I slammed my hand on the counter. “That’s bullshit!”

“That’s the business.” She laughed heavily.

I glanced over to Gavin. He stared out the window. “It’s because of us,” I said.

“Such a shame, trying to rule who your kids can be with.” She turned and gave Gavin a watery smile. “I’m happy for you both.”

He nodded, unsmiling. The coffee maker beeped, and I grabbed the carafe to pour some cups. When I turned around, Gavin had left the room.

Something tugged at my heart that he couldn’t share in my mother’s pain, but it was likely for the best.

“This must be hard for him,” my mother said, looking at the empty doorway. “On the one side is his family, and the other is the woman he loves.”

I turned to stare at my mother in shock.

“Don’t give me that look,” she scolded. “I wasn’t born yesterday. That boy’s been watching you since day one. Lord knows he threatened nearly every person that tried to stand in your way.”

I coughed loudly in my coffee and stared at my mother like, well like she’d gone nuts.

“You always were oblivious to the world around you,” she laughed. “I used to tell your Gran not to let you live in your book world, but she always encouraged it.”

“You used to talk to Gran about me?” I stared at her, disbelieving my ears.

“Your Gran filled you with all sorts of stories about me, but what she failed to tell you was that we may have wanted different lives, but fundamentally, we’re very much the same.” My head spun at her words. Were they true? Gran had never told it like that.

“When my mother, your Gran, was a young woman, she met a man. Everything about him was magical to her. So magical that she spent the night with him.” My eyebrows raised at the thought of Gran young and in love. “Unfortunately, he came from no money. He wanted to run off together, but when her family caught wind, they paid him off. What they didn’t know was that she was pregnant with me.”

I sat next to her on the chair. Despite all the stories she had told, this one never made it to me.

“What did she do?” I asked, although it was really quite obvious.

“Her family paid for her to stay here while she had me.” My mother looked around and smile. “She liked it so much, she just stayed on.”

“And the poor man?” I tried to picture what he must have looked like but failed.

My mother shrugged. “Who knows? Must have been enough money to start over.”

I struggled to understand why Gran hadn’t just run off with him.

“When I met your father, he was,” she sighed and got a far off look in her eye, “well, he was just amazing. We had been together for several years, but your Gran just never took to him. I always suspected that she had hoped I would end up with someone who was like her poor lover.” She smiled sadly. “When I found myself pregnant with you, we told her we wanted to get married. She refused. So I left, oddly following in the path she had wanted so many years before.”

“That’s so sad,” I said after some time.

“In the end, he wasn’t worth it. Someone who would leave for money isn’t really worth the time.” Her face hardened at the thought.

What about Dad?” I asked.

“We really did love each other.” She sighed. “But I was just never enough for him.”

I stared at the door where Gavin had stood and then looked back to her. “Do you think Gavin’s like that?”

Mom stared hard at me for some time before answering.

“No, dear,” she said quietly. “I think you are.”

I reeled from her comment. Was that me?

“I don’t understand.” I stared at her, unsure where to even go from there.

“Just make sure when the time comes, you make the right choice.” She patted my hand and stood to dump out her untouched mug. “Everything is second place to love.”

I jumped at the sound of Gavin as he strolled in on the phone.

“That’s great, Liv,” he spoke into the receiver. “I’ll have her give you a call once we’re finished.”

He snapped the phone shut and grinned at us, just as happy as he’d been all week.

Gavin set down his phone and walked over to make himself a cup of coffee. Out of the corner of his eye, I could see him watching as he kept us in suspense.

“Just spit it out!” I shouted at him.

He sat down his cup and grinned even wider. “I just got off the phone with Liv Blackstone.”

“Liv Blackstone?” My mother paled and sank back into the seat beside me.

“Isn’t that the editor of that fashion and gossip rag about the rich?” My mother shot me a hard look, but Gavin winked at me. I couldn’t hide the grin.

“Her magazine is the most widely read magazine across the country,” Gavin said. “My mother wishes she had their numbers and,” he added with emphasis, “Liv just happens to be a huge fan of yours.”

My mother jumped out of her stool and raced across the room to wrap him in a hard embrace.

“That’s fantastic,” I said, excited for the windfall. “So she’ll use the pictures from the snow bunny shoot?”

Gavin pulled back from my mother and smirked at me. “Not exactly.”
