He returned to his previous spot right at Liam’s back, kissing his way over broad shoulders and well-defined muscles. When he reached Liam’s ass, he gently bit one cheek. As if sensing what he wanted, Liam spread his feet apart. Chas growled deep in his throat, using his hands to pull Liam’s ass cheeks apart.

Exactly what he wanted, that puckered invitation. He buried his face there, his tongue licking and circling, teasing the tight hole until he felt just the slightest relaxation, then darting forward to penetrate, to stroke. From the other side, Greer’s mouth made soft, rhythmic sucking noises as she worked Liam’s shaft, and from above, his breath sobbed in and out.

“Please,” Liam managed in a choked voice.

“Please? Do we?” Chas growled. He spit on his finger then began tracing the outer edges of where his tongue had just been. Greer did something that made Liam gasp, and his anus wink. In a flash, Chas pushed his finger inside, standing as he pumped it back and forth.

“Tonight, I’m top,” he growled. Liam simply nodded, completely incapable of speech. Chas peered at Greer. “Don’t let him come. There’s a cock ring in the nightstand drawer. Put it on him.” Chas was amazed at himself. He was normally content to let Liam take the lead, but tonight he sensed a different need in Lee. He needed someone else to take charge.

Greer strapped the cock ring around his shaft and balls, getting it as tight as she could around his already erect penis. It wasn’t ideal, but it would do the job.

“Lay down.” While Liam complied, Chas looked at Greer. “We’ll bring him just to the brink, but not let him come until we say he can. You good with that?”

Greer nodded. In her gaze he saw the same realization he had come to—this was how Liam would overcome his need to find Julie and her maid in order to take out his fury. This wasn’t just about sex, it was about sanity.

Liam stared at Chas and Greer, his whole body throbbing with the need to come. He didn’t want it slow, didn’t want it tender. He needed fast. Hard.

Greer eased next to him on the bed. “Give me your wrists.”

  “What?”

She smiled with a wicked glint in her eye. “You heard me.”

She produced a set of padded cuffs and had him put his arms over his head before she tightened them around his wrists. His stomach flip-flopped, then he swallowed when Chas grabbed one of his legs and used a long, silken scarf to bind his ankle before attaching it to the footboard.

“Chas?” Oh God, had his voice just cracked?

Bright blue eyes gazed at him with not a spark of laughter. “Trust me, man. You did this for me the other day, now let me do it for you. Much better than pounding walls or pounding your ex.”

Liam let his head fall back, his breathing accelerating. He remembered vividly everything they’d done. His nuts throbbed and his dick twitched. Greer had done all too good a job with the cock ring, so all that really happened was his erection swelled so close to the point of pain Liam worried he’d shoot cum if anyone even brushed it by accident.

“I want you to lick Greer’s pussy ‘til she comes all over your face.” Chas’ voice held a tone of command Liam seldom heard.

He nodded. His mouth watered with anticipation as she stood and slowly shimmied out of the lacy black thong still almost covering her cunt. He licked his lips. She always tasted like honey, her juices nearly as thick. When she straddled his face and teased him by staying just out of reach, he tried to move his hands and realized she had not only cuffed him, but harnessed the cuffs to the headboard.

“Please,” he rasped, “let me taste you. Let me lick you until you scream.”

She lowered her swollen, glistening lips to his mouth and he kissed her deeply, sliding his tongue into her hot, sweet opening. While he tongue-fucked her, her fingers rubbed at her little red clit.

“That’s it,” Chas encouraged him. “Make her come. Then you’re going to take me down your throat.”

Liam’s heart pounded and his body quivered with every moan Greer uttered. He wanted his dick inside her, pumping her full of his cum. As he sucked on her clit, she ground her pussy into his face. Her climax was so close. Thigh muscles quivering, she arched above him. Chas supported her and kissed her, covering her mouth to muffle her cry of completion.

Liam’s eyes popped open when Chas released his leg then lifted Greer off him, letting her stretch by Liam’s side. His eyes met Liam’s as he released him from the cuffs. “Now me. Sit up so I can fuck your mouth.”

He did as Chas asked, his surprise and lust only ratcheting up when Chas squatted in front of him and shoved his pulsing cock deep in Liam’s mouth. He scrambled to adjust the angle so he could take him in, swallowing until he had him all the way to his nuts. Only then did Chas begin to move, stroking in and out.

A moment later, he felt Greer’s mouth on him and he moaned around the flesh pumping between his lips. Oh God, he needed to come, but just at the point where he thought he would be unable to hold back, she stopped. He groaned in protest, his hips pumping but only at empty air.

Liam turned his concentration back to Chas, who now gripped hair on each side of Liam’s head while pumping harder and faster. It wouldn’t be long now. Liam swirled his tongue around the head of Chas’ cock when he pulled nearly out of his mouth before plunging once more.

They were using him hard, making him forget everything but the dick in his mouth and the pulsing ache of his own cock. Chas’ grip tightened. He thrust forward and spurted his seed. Liam swallowed for what seemed like forever. When Chas pulled out, Liam licked every drop from his softening penis, then begged.

“Please, let me come now. My balls ache.”

Chas laughed. “Not just yet. Bend your legs so we can get to your dick and your ass.”

Greer’s eyes slid from Liam’s cock to his hole. In response to the heat in her gaze, pre-cum ran from his swollen head down his shaft. Ever so slowly she ran two of her fingers around his dick, coating them with his own juices before sliding over his nut sac to his anus. Every nerve ending jumped as she circled him and pushed in with one finger.

“Yes,” he sobbed, so desperate to come at this point he would have done anything they asked him to. “Fuck me, Greer.”

She slid in a second finger, twisting and scissoring them inside him, finding his prostate and beginning a slow massage. He was beyond speech, his mouth open and his head thrashing back and forth as she continued to tease.

  “Stop,” Chas ordered quietly.

“No!” Liam kept what would have been a shout to a hoarse whisper. Chas was stroking his cock, already getting hard again.

“Climb on and fuck him, sweetie.”

She rode him like a bronco, no gentle thrust of her hips, but bouncing on the full-length of his cock as hard as she could. “Come on, Liam,” she urged, “come in me. Make me come.”

He thrust, wishing he could get his hands on her as he pumped his hips in counterpoint to her movements. Chas moved behind her, spitting on his palm to moisten his dick. He caught Greer for a moment and made her next few bounces down the length of his cock. When she settled on Liam again, Chas stared at him.

“This is for you, Liam, just for you.”

Liam cried out when Chas pushed into him, burying his cock in his ass. As the head of his dick pushed once more at his prostate, Liam began shooting deep inside Greer’s slick passage. She leaned forward, pressing her palm across his mouth to silence his scream of release. Chas pulled out stroking himself off and shooting his load on Greer’s bottom.

The two of them stretched on either side of him, stroking his chest, his belly, his arms. Liam released a long, shuddering breath and cried like a baby.

  Chapter Eighteen

George Davidson called midmorning the next day to let Liam know the child protective order had been issued, he’d been given temporary sole custody and the cops were even now on their way over to Julie’s parents’ home with warrants in hand.

After the emotional release Greer and Chas had give
n him, Liam felt rational and in control. He glanced outside to see the two of them playing with Wyatt around the pool.

“We’d really like you and Lizzy to come over. Why don’t you spend the day? We can enjoy the pool, cook out and discuss what’s ahead not only for Wyatt but for Chas as well.”

“Sounds good. Give us a half hour and we’ll be there.”

The tension eased from Liam’s shoulders as he hung up. Everything would be okay. He felt it deep down, though he knew they weren’t at the finish line with this whole thing yet. He knew Julie too well to think she would accept what was happening without retaliating. There was also Chas’ situation at the hospital.

He headed outside. “Hey, Greer, your mom and dad are coming over. I’ve invited them to join us for the day.”

She stood. “I’ll get some food ready…”

Liam reached her side and bent to kiss her. “Relax. I’ll run to the store in a bit and buy everything we need for burgers and dogs.”

  “Are you sure? I can…”

He touched a fingertip to her nose. “I’m sure.”

“Okay. There’s something I wanted to talk to all of you about anyway.”

Liam arched a brow. “What’s that?”

Greer shook her head. “No. Let’s wait. I’d like to put it off until Wyatt’s napping.”

He tilted his head, but could see she was giving nothing away. “Okay. Everything all right?”

The last thing he could handle right now was for her to get cold feet about the three of them. When she grinned, he relaxed.

  “Maybe better than all right.”

As soon as Wyatt heard the gravel on the drive crunching, he was bouncing around the gate to the pool. Almost before their car doors closed, he shouted, “Grandpa George and Grandma Lizzy! Watch me swim!”

After praising Wyatt’s efforts, George and Lizzy hugged everyone. Chas excused himself for a minute, coming back with beer and wine in a small cooler he set on the oblong, umbrella-shaded table.

“Mom,” Greer said, “if you and Dad want to swim, I’ll show you where you can change.”

They splashed and lazed around the pool, Greer bringing out a snack tray after they decided to wait on the burgers and dogs until evening. Wyatt perched on one of the chairs, swinging his chubby legs while he set crackers, cheese and carrot sticks in little patterns in front of him.

Liam leaned back in his chair, watching as Greer encouraged his son to eat the carrots. When she offered him a grape tomato, he wrinkled his nose and shook his head. Greer popped it in her own mouth, chewed and swallowed. This time, when she took a second one, Wyatt held out his hand. She gave it to him and picked another one. Grinning at him, Greer popped it in her mouth and this time Wyatt followed suit. His eyes widened as he chewed.

“More?” He batted his lashes at Greer. Liam laughed, partly at how Wyatt buttered her up and partly out of sheer relief his son seemed to be showing no ill effects from what had happened to him.

Greer smiled at Liam, then turned her attention back to Wyatt. “Of course you can have more.” She leaned sideways and dropped a kiss on his dark curls. Liam’s gut clenched. When he looked at Chas, he saw what he was feeling reflected back at him. Chas put his arm along the back of Greer’s chair, and when she straightened, he leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.

  “What’s that for?”

Chas smiled. “Just to let you know we love you.”

George drew Liam’s attention away with his next question. “Does your family still own the farm by the river?”

“Yes. We’re running cattle on it. The bottoms are too flood prone for crops.”

“So many of the bigger farms around here have landed with developers, you must be getting some pressure in that area.”

“I am. I’ve had a couple of offers that have been pretty hard to turn down.”

  “Why have you?” Greer asked.

He shrugged. He hadn’t really given it conscious thought, and certainly never voiced his reasons to anyone else. “At first because I was in shock about my parents’ deaths. Later, because I saw so many other farms disappearing.” He stopped, casting a glance at Wyatt whose eyes were beginning to droop. “Finally because I wanted to keep it intact for my children, not have it become something to fight over in court.”

George nodded. “Wyatt’s lucky to have you.”

“Wyatt’s getting sleepy,” Greer put in. “Let me get him settled on one of the lounges in the shade so he can take a nap. I think it’s time for me to share some things.”

She had everyone’s attention, a scenario she wasn’t normally comfortable with, but in this instance, Greer knew it was unavoidable. The few minutes it took her to settle Wyatt gave her an opportunity to compose herself. As she stroked his sun-browned back, she frowned at the bruises on his arms. If what she suspected was true, it would more than clinch not only Liam’s custody but Chas’ sexual harassment case.

They would both be free—just as they’d made her.

Greer eased off the lounge and sat at the table. Her parents, along with Liam and Chas, watched her expectantly.

“This might sound farfetched, but I believe there’s a connection between Samantha Marlowe and Julie.”

Chas’ head whipped in her direction. “What?”

“It was something Julie said to me last night.” Liam’s jaw went rigid. Although she’d given him the gist of what had been said, she hadn’t gone into her beliefs about where Julie had gotten the information.

“You spoke to Julie?” Chas asked.

“She cornered me in the restroom wondering what I was doing there instead of watching Wyatt. When I said you were doing that, she asked if I was just camouflage—in her words—your beard.”

Liam growled and her father frowned.

“When I assured her you were both very interested in women, she wanted to know if the two of you enjoyed planning your next road trip using the scars on my back. Because even plastic surgery couldn’t erase something as hideous as that.”

“Bitch!” Liam snarled, jumping to his feet. Chas looked equally thunderous. It was her father who caught onto the same thing she had.

“How could she possibly know you’d had plastic surgery, let alone how successful or not successful it might have been?”

Greer cast him a grateful look. “Exactly what I wondered. By the time I had skin grafts done, the accident was no longer getting any media attention. We certainly never publicized it. That information’s only in my medical records.”

“Maybe she’d heard about the accident,” Liam said. “It might have been a lucky guess.”

Chas tapped his fingers on the table. “Too lucky. Even if she had heard about the accident, it would be too coincidental that she would pinpoint your back.”

She nodded. “I thought so too. It didn’t sound like a guess. It sounded like she had specific knowledge, which would mean she’d either gotten access to my medical records or talked with someone who had. Chas, would any physician be able to do that?”

  “Yes.”

  “Like Sam Marlowe?”

  Now she had everyone’s attention.

“What are you saying?” her father asked in a quiet voice.

“I think there’s a connection between Julie and Samantha Marlowe. I think you should look into that. Somehow, somewhere, they know each other. Not only do I think they know each other, but I think this whole setup—from threatening to take custody to the sexual harassment charges—is something the two of them concocted.”

“Why?” Chas asked. “She doesn’t want Wyatt, so why?”

Liam leaned back and crossed his arms across his chest. “Money.”

  Chas frowned. “But her family…”

“Has been hit hard by the downturn in the economy. She wasn’t happy with the divorce settlement anyway. It makes a strange kind of sense.” He glanced over at Wyatt. “I wonder how soon she would have gotten around to demanding I pay to see my son.”

  Her father’
s brow knit in thought. “I have a friend who could probably get us some answers.”

“It’s Sunday, honey,” her mother reminded him.

Her father laughed. “Rich won’t care. He’s a bloodhound when it comes to stuff like this. Mind if I step inside and give him a call?”

Liam waved his hand. “Not at all.”

Greer finally relaxed. No one had dismissed her theory. In fact, she could see from the varying expressions around the table they all thought it made sense. The fact her father had immediately called a detective friend of his was also a good sign.

Chas took her hand. “Thanks, sweetie. I kept thinking this whole thing with Dr. Marlowe had come out of left field. Your explanation makes sense. I’m just sorry you had to be subjected to Julie’s viperish tongue.”

“I appreciate that, but you know, I’d much rather endure outright ridicule than the pitying looks and fake sympathy I got from my so-called friends.” She squeezed his hand at the same time she stared at Liam. “Besides, with you two around, it just doesn’t matter anymore.”

And it didn’t. Greer felt as though a weight had finally dropped from her. She no longer felt guilt thinking about Markus. What had disabled the boat had been a freak accident, but he had made the choice not to jump overboard.

Her father came back out, a grin on his face. “Rich says give him a couple hours. He’ll meet us here at five, so we can talk. He mentioned a local band is playing at Captain’s Quarters. We could all go there for dinner after and listen to some music.” He glanced around the table. “I told him okay. We’ll get the serious stuff out of the way and relax a bit. That way, no one has to cook, Rich has plenty of time to do some research, and our grandson gets his nap in.”

Chas glanced at her. “You okay with that plan?”

She knew he was remembering their last visit to the restaurant. Although it hadn’t been that long ago, it felt like a lifetime. She touched his hand and smiled.

“I am, Chas.” She took a deep, steady breath. “I really am.”
