“Then why haven’t you told him about your past?”
I bristled. “It’s too soon.”
“Oh my. Well I know Ryan, and let’s say I tell him—to help you out of courses—”
“You wouldn’t,” I seethed. He couldn’t really do that. I couldn’t let him do that.
“Haven’t we established I’m an asshole? So I most definitely would especially when it will hurt him. What you don’t know is Ryan and I used to be really good friends.”
I let the tears fall. He was going to ruin everything I worked so hard to gain. I didn’t get it. What did it matter about my past? “All of this just to get back at him?”
“Yes,” he replied but there was something in his tone as his eyes scanned my body.
“Even if you hurt other people in the process?”
“Yes.”
“Well aren’t you just as mature as they come. I don’t buy it. I don’t think you’ll tell him knowing I’ll hate you even more. I may be new, but you can’t seem to keep secretaries. It’s no wonder why. You might want to keep me around for a while.”
“You wouldn’t quit. You need this job too badly.”
Shit he had me again. I did need the job, and they were hard to come by. He had me cornered and he knew it. I didn’t want to believe he would tell Ryan, but something in the way he talked about him proved otherwise. There was seriously some bad blood between the two of them, and I had no idea my past would hang by a thread just because of some stupid revenge.
“Why do you hate him anyways?”
Aiden glared at me and moved away before sitting back down at his desk. I could breathe again, for the moment.
Chapter 5
“That Miss Turner is not your business.”
I shook my head. “But it is. If you’re going to use my past to get back at him then I think I at least deserve to know before you ruin my life. And by the way I plan to make your life a living hell every day until I decide to quit. And if you fire me I’ll sue.”
He laughed and shook his head. “Oh that’s rich coming from the ex-junkie and street whore.”
My eyes widened and I paled. My breaths came out in pants, and I glared at him through my tears. “Wow, you really know how to kick someone when they’re down.” He had won. My first day, and it was going to be my last day. Life couldn’t get too much worse. Having my past thrown back in my face stung. I was young and stupid and I’d just been thrown on the street by a mother who didn’t give a damn. “You really have no idea why those things happened, but I’m guessing you don’t care either,” I whispered not able to look him in the eye.
“I won’t tell Ryan your dirty little secrets.”
I rolled my eyes. He wanted something. “What do I have to do in return? Let’s get to it Mr. Carter I should have seen this coming a mile away. You’re a rich bastard so I can only guess as to what you want.” I went numb. This was no different than before. He didn’t even have to confirm. I knew what he wanted. I’d done it for a living for three years. I understood men, especially rich sleazy ones that had nothing better to do.
“I think you know.”
I shook my head and buried my face into my hands. I couldn’t do that again. It wasn’t right, but I couldn’t—no I wouldn’t let him ruin my life. Ryan would never see me again. I took a deep breath and wiped my eyes and glared at him. “Fine, I guess I don’t have choice. I’ve worked too hard to overcome that part of my life. But this isn’t any better. What’s to say you get what you want and still tell him, also telling him you fucked me?”
He sat up straight. “I don’t go back on my word. One night, a full night. That means I want it all. And I will certainly not be fucking you. It’s called making love sweetheart and you’ll love every minute of it.”
I couldn’t even bring myself to laugh. “Right. Just like I loved it back then.” I hated it every second of everything I did.
“So you agree to the terms?”
“Sure.”
“Good, tomorrow night. If you blow me off I’ll go visit your boyfriend.”
I shook my head fully ashamed and kept my face as neutral as possible. I could do this one last time. “You’re really doing this? How often do you have to blackmail women to sleep with you?”
“Never. Women usually are easy for me. I know you wouldn’t have been. I needed to use all my leverage to get you. I find it quite intriguing that you dislike me so much.
“You shouldn’t be so surprised. You’re a bastard, and I will hate every second with you.”
He laughed. “Then you better be a good actress sweetheart. I want the whole deal. You have to be the doting loving woman I know you are.”
I sneered. “Fine, but just remember, you’ll have to live with yourself for this.”
“So will you.”
I nodded. “I’m leaving now.”
“See you tomorrow sweetheart.”
I shook my head and this time since the office was empty I slammed his door. I couldn’t believe I was doing this again. I should have said no. I shouldn’t have sunk so low. But I couldn’t let Ryan find out. I didn’t know why I didn’t trust him to accept me, even with my dirty past. I didn’t think he could overcome the truth behind who I was, and at the moment I was willing to do anything to keep him from finding out. Even if that meant sleeping with my boss.
I chuckled, but I wasn’t really amused. This reminded me of who I used to be. I had less than 24 hours to pull out all the tricks I knew from before. I knew how to fake, and at least Aiden Carter was attractive physically even if he was a slimy pig. I never imagined this was how my first day as a secretary would turn out, and as soon as possible I was looking for another job. I wouldn’t keep working for a man who used my past to get in my pants. I should have been flattered. Not.
The drove home did little to calm me down, and as I climbed the stairs to my crappy one bedroom I cried. No one was around. I’d have to let the tears out now. Tomorrow was going to be hell. I had to work all day and then I had to give my boss a once in a lifetime experience to keep him from telling my boyfriend the truth. The irony wasn’t lost on me. I knew what I was doing was wrong, and I should have figured it would have backfired. If I would have known I wouldn’t have taken my boss’s deal. I would have waited him out.
* * * *
The next morning I woke up groggy and angry. If I had to go through with tonight I would make him regret it all day. He was going to pay. I wore the sexiest outfit I could. My hair had a sexy up-do, and I layered my make up on thicker, but not too whore like. He wanted the full package of a whore. I’d give it to him. I squeezed my breasts together and pushed them up in the new push-up bra I’d bought for Ryan. I ignored any thoughts of him. I shouldn’t have been trying to look sexy. It should have been the opposite. I also ignored the thrill that shot through my body. A part of me was still that whore I was years ago. Only this time I didn’t get paid. I got blackmailed instead. It was really no better.
Ready to go I blew a kiss to my reflection. It was on. I knew how to use my curves to my advantage. Before the drugs thinned me out I was curvy back then too. Now that I was clean I was voluptuous. Apparently Mr. Carter had a thing or a one-time fantasy for the big girl. Well he was going to get the ride of his life. I chuckled. He’d never want a thin girl again. And one time, that’s what we agreed to. He wouldn’t have me again, and when I found a new job I’d walk out on him smiling.
Chapter 6
Aiden waited patiently for Leila to show. When it was five minutes till her scheduled work hours he shook his head. He really didn’t want to contact Ryan, but he had to follow through if she didn’t show. He heard footsteps and looked out of his opened office door and his jaw dropped. Leila walked in like she owned the place. She wore black dress pants and the hottest business top he’d ever seen. Unlike yesterday she wore heels and her breasts peaked over the top of her shirt pulling in his eyes. He scanned her body and groaned.
She was hot, and seeing her dress like
that all day was going to drive him mad. She waved her fingers and licked her lips before sitting at her desk. Damn tease. He had a feeling she knew exactly what she was doing—and was doing it to purposely tease him. He should have known she would have done something to pay him back. His body was tensed, coiled ready to strike. The muscles in his neck tensed and he licked his lips. It was going to be a long day.
He sat back and tried to get to work, but with his door opened it would be pointless. Seeing her bare neck with strands of hair falling from whatever kind of girly hairstyle proved to drive him crazy. He stomped away from his desk and stuck his head out. “Well played Miss Turner, but I’m the one in control here.” Then he slammed the door, but that didn’t shut out her chuckle knowing she had won that round.
At his desk he tried to keep busy, but images of Leila doing dirty things to his body progressively over took his imagination. The morning dragged by but he was able to keep control and stay in his office the whole morning, and even managed to accomplish a lot. She didn’t bother him and he didn’t even try to communicate with her.
It wasn’t until lunch time that he realized he had no choice. She knocked on his door and stuck her head in. “It’s ten minutes early today. Got the same as yesterday since you didn’t tell me what you wanted.” Then she sauntered into the room shutting the door behind her. The click of the lock should have concerned him. It wasn’t until she closed his blinds that he was severely worried. She wouldn’t do anything on the job—would she?”
She laid his sub on the tabled and stripped her shirt off. Okay so she would. Her breasts were covered in a brightly covered bra that pushed her them up higher than they should have been. The milky flesh teased him and he ached to set them free and suck her nipple into his mouth.
He watched in amazement as she stripped her pants off.
“What are you doing, Miss Turner?”
She rolled her eyes. “God you know my name Aiden, and what do you think? You wanted the whole package. A doting, loving woman would bring her man lunch and proceed to give him soon afternoon love, correct?”
She was damn good. He couldn’t even be certain if she was unhappy with the turn of events. He nodded afraid to speak and ruin the moment because right now she stood nearly naked in his office, and every curve on her body tempted him more.
He crooked a finger at her with a shaking hand. She smiled and came towards him swaying her hips enticingly. She reached into her bra and pulled out a strip of condoms. “My only concession. No exceptions.”
He nodded numbly. For once in his life he was speechless. What the hell was she doing? She was up to something. “That’s fine.”
“Take your pants off, Aiden.”
He didn’t wait and stood yanking the belt and shoving his pants and his boxers down his legs. She didn’t give him a chance to pull them off before she shoved his chair back from the desk and then her sexy full lips were wrapped around his cock sucking him all the way in. He groaned when his head hit the back of her throat. Seeing her head bob up and down did something to him. She was exactly how he imagined her. On her knees giving him a blow job.
Wrapping his hands through her hair he guided her head and enjoyed the sounds she made around his dick. She certainly knew what she was doing, but he didn’t want to finish in her mouth. No he dreamed of this all night. Pulling her off of him she whimpered and her eyes were light with lust. She licked her lips and tried to take him back but he shook his head.
Grabbing the protection he didn’t miss a beat and tore open the package and rolling it onto his hardness. She smiled at him almost lovingly and pulled him from his chair and shoved him to the floor. He was going to complain that he had a couch, but instead he yelled when she lowered her tightness on him in one swift movement.
Leila didn’t wait. She rode him fast and hard showing him just how much she knew what to do to make a man happy. Her head was thrown back, her lips were parted and she panted as she rocked against him. Sadly it didn’t take long for him to climax and he knew that she hadn’t finished. He was stunned. Never before had he let the woman suffer because he couldn’t hold back.
“Fucking shit.” He groaned when she pulled off of him and stood. She didn’t say a word as she grabbed some tissues and cleaned herself up.
When she had gotten her clothes back on and he had yet to move she winked. “Happy lunch break honey,” she said and left him there alone and still hard on the floor of his office like some pussy.
After several minutes he got up off the floor. It was then he realized she did actually finish, but she was able to keep quiet somehow. Tricky woman. He disposed of the condom and got dressed. All the while he was still in shock. It was so fast, yet he would never forget how her body felt on his. She didn’t even seem to enjoy it at all. There was not affection. She fucked him and left him. He shook his head angry. That wasn’t fucking happening. He’d show her. He knew her game now. She treated him how she would have one of her customers, but she didn’t know what was coming to her. He was going to change the way she thought of sex if it was the last thing he did.
Chapter 7
I couldn’t have been more shocked. He let me totally take over, and I knew it was because he was shocked by my brazen behavior. He told me he wanted the whole shebang, so I gave it to him. He wanted the doting girlfriend. Well that’s exactly what I would do to Ryan everyday if he wanted it. Hell we were taking it slow. I hadn’t slept with my boyfriend yet. I tried not to wonder if there was an issue with that. And I sure as hell wasn’t going to admit how much I enjoyed Aiden. God he was gorgeous, and when he didn’t speak I actually sort of liked him.
He wasn’t afraid to show his pleasure and the red dips in my hips stung reminding me of how hard he held me. He finished fast, and that surprised me. I was sort of expected a monster to come out. I was expecting him to slam me down and take over. He didn’t seem like a man to submit to a woman, but his eyes stayed wide, and he moaned and thrust up into me. Otherwise he let me lead.
When I went back to my desk after changing panties, because even though I tried to hold back I climaxed too, I just had practice at holding back my pleasure. It was the only shred of control I had over them. A way to stick it with the men I fucked. My body still shook from the force of how great it felt to be with him. It ticked me off. I didn’t want to like it. It just made things a lot messier than they had to be.
“Leila.”
I jumped and turned around to see Aiden glaring at me. Though his eyes still shined from his release, he was pissed. He seemed to have figured it out. He stood behind me, not quite touching but I felt his breath on the back of my neck and shivered. “That wasn’t part of the deal, but— it was a nice start. You’re incredibly beautiful when you come,” he whispered.
How the hell did he know? “I didn’t.”
He chuckled silently. “I didn’t think so at first either, but you—” he ran his finger down my shoulder. “Left some evidence behind that I couldn’t ignore.”
I tensed. “Oh well good for you. Your dick got me off.” I was vulgar on purpose hoping it would turn him off.
“You’ll be getting off a lot more later today, sweet heart. Don’t think that was it for the day. I still get to love you the way I intended. The way you deserve.”
Too shock to speak because his words hit a nerve inside of me, both good and bad. I nodded and walked stiffly back to my desk. I didn’t meet his eyes when he walked by to his office. I didn’t turn around to see if he watched me, and I certainly didn’t watch him with sappy puppy dog eyes. His words repeated in my mind. “I still get to love you the way I intended, the way you deserve.” What the hell did that mean? He treated me like a two bit whore, but now he was treating me like the loving doting woman he said I had to pretend to be.
I shook my head and sighed pushing the intercom. “It’s lunch time for me now. I’ll be back in an hour.”
“Don’t be late, Miss Turner.”
“Of course not, Mr. Carter.” I roll
ed my eyes. I showed him I was going to follow through with his blackmail even though I shouldn’t. Then I had a thought, one I should have realized before I cheated on my boyfriend. I stood tall and stalked out of my office. I wouldn’t have to finish the day. I needed to have faith that Ryan loved me. I needed to tell him the whole truth, and then I’d be home free. Ha. Then my boss wouldn’t get what he wanted. My body shook with nervous energy. Could I really finally tell Ryan why I hid from my past. Why I had no one in my life. Why I was so uptight, and why I worked so hard to keep up a persona of someone who was from his world. He wasn’t stupid he knew I wasn’t rich, and he knew I didn’t come from rich.
I drove nervously to Ryan’s office. I had never visited him at work, but this would probably be the only time. I’d rather lose him then sink back into who I used to be. It had been years since I craved a high, and Aiden did that to me. I felt sick and nothing was worth the pain of falling backwards. I let the tears go and hoped Aiden was wrong about Ryan, but something told me he knew better than me.
When I pulled into the parking lot I took a deep cleansing breath and smiled. “You can do this Le,” I said trying to convince myself. I slid out of my car and made my way to the door to his office. My hand froze on the door for a second while I gathered myself. I needed to buck up. There was no going back now as I made my way inside.
At the desk I asked the woman where Ryan’s office was and she looked at me strangely before pointing down a wide hallway. His office reeked of money and I sighed. I didn’t belong with someone like him.
I knocked and waited to hear him tell me to come in. He did and I opened the door to see another woman in the room. Her hair was a mess and Ryan jumped up. His shirt was partially untucked and I sighed. Go figure. The one man I didn’t think I was good enough for was sleeping around, and the worst part was, I knew her. She wasn’t your typical girl. She was someone I knew very well indeed. Apparently he would have been okay with my past.
