Celeste glared mockingly at Tammy over her order but sat anyway. Tammy retrieved the hair dryer from the cupboard and plugged it into the power socket. “Just close your eyes and enjoy.”

She did as Tammy suggested and closed her eyes, humming as the heat from the hair dryer warmed her head. She was so relaxed she could have fallen asleep. Having her hair done was the only benefit to being a model. Having her hair brushed and played with was a joy for her.

“Okay, I’m finished. Now for the makeup.”

“I hate wearing that gunk,” Celeste muttered, as she tried to move closer to the mirror to see what her friend had done to her hair.

Tammy grinned and pushed down on her shoulder. “No looking yet. And believe me when I say you are going to want to wear it today.”

“Are we going to a party?”

“You could say that,” Tammy said with a smile, and then got to work. “Close your eyes.”

Celeste closed her eyes, secure in the knowledge that her friend wouldn’t make her look silly by plastering foundation too thickly on her face. She’d seen Tammy wearing makeup and liked the way it was understated and natural-looking.

“Ta da.” Tammy grinned and then nodded toward the mirror.

Celeste stood and after taking a deep breath moved in front of the mirror and stared at her reflection. Her friend had curled her long blonde hair. Most of it was up on top of her head but there were a few tendrils dangling down to frame her face.

“Are you sure you were never a hairdresser?” Celeste asked. “I can’t believe what you’ve done. I look…”

“Beautiful.” Tammy grinned and winked. Tears pooled in Celeste’s eyes but she quickly blinked them back. She should have known Tammy would notice. “None of that. You don’t want to end up looking like a raccoon.”

  Celeste nodded. “Is it waterproof?”

“It says so on the label, but one can never be too sure, right?” Tammy clapped her hands excitedly. “Now, it’s time to get dressed.”

“Uh, are you going to fill me in?” Celeste asked, as she followed Tammy back into the bedroom.

“Nope.” Tammy pointed to a bag draped over the bed. “That one’s yours. The shoes are in the box under the bed.”

Tammy skirted the bed where another bag was lying and began to unzip it.

Celeste did the same and when she saw the white cocktail dress with lace on the front her heart skipped a beat. It was the most gorgeous thing she’d ever seen. She grasped hold of the hanger and lifted it up. It was strapless with a tight-fitting bodice and small lace flowers covering satin or silk. In the middle of the flowers were small white pearls. When she looked at the designer label she knew it was definitely silk. It would reach her ankles and there was a small train at the back. She met Tammy’s gaze and opened her mouth to speak but when nothing came out, she closed it again. It looked like a wedding dress but she didn’t want to assume and make a fool out of herself, so she raised her eyebrow in query.

“Hurry it up. We’re going to be late.”

Celeste swallowed around the constrictive lump in her throat and began to dress. She had the foresight to remove the shoes from the box and set them out so she could slip her feet into them once she had the gown on. When she was done, she turned to look at Tammy. Her friend was stunning. She was wearing a rose-colored gown similar to hers without the lace, pearls, and train. She was gorgeous.

“You look stunning,” Celeste croaked out.

Tammy blushed and smiled. “So do you.” She came around to Celeste and linked her arm with hers. “Are you ready?”

“As I’ll ever be since I still don’t know where we’re going or what’s going on.”

“You’re about to find out.” Tammy winked, guided her to the bedroom door, inhaled deeply, and opened it.

Talon and Royal were standing in the hallway wearing black dinner suits, with white shirts and black bowties. They both wolf whistled as they eyed her and Tammy up and down. “Gorgeous,” they said at the same time.

Royal gestured for Tammy to go down the hall. Celeste peered between the two men blocking her way and saw Tammy rest her hand on a black-clad arm proffered to her.

  “Your turn, sweetheart.”

“Are either of you going to explain?” Celeste asked. “I can hear people talking. I don’t want to embarrass you in front of your friends and family.”

“You could never do that, Celeste.” Roy smiled.

“The answers you seek are waiting in the living room,” Talon said.

  “Are you ready?”

  Celeste frowned. “I suppose.”

Royal chuckled, nodded at her, and then hurried away. Talon held his arm out to her and she rested her hand on it. He didn’t say another word as led her down the hall, and she felt his gaze on her often. When they got to the entry to the huge living room, her heart stopped beating and she stopped breathing. The furniture was gone and had been replaced with white folding chairs and every seat was filled with her mates’ family and friends. She glanced toward the far side of the room and swayed when she saw Tarik and Hodge. They were gazing at her with huge smiles on their faces. Behind them was a well-dressed elderly woman. She was standing behind a table draped in a white tablecloth and looking at her expectantly.

Tammy, who she hadn’t seen standing off to the side near her, came over and shoved a bouquet of white roses into her hands. Tammy was holding red roses. Tammy turned away and scowled up at Phelan when he moved to her side. He smiled and winked at her before linking arms and leading her toward Tarik and Hodge. Once they reached her mates, Tammy moved to their left while Phelan moved to their right.

“Our turn,” Talon said, and stepped forward.

Celeste heard soft music playing but she felt as if she was in a trance as she walked toward Tarik and Hodge. When she was standing between them, they glanced at each other, moved in front of her and went down on bended knees.

Tarik took the flowers from her and passed them over to Tammy, and then they were holding a hand each.

Tarik cleared his throat. “Celeste, you are my mate and I love you more than I can ever say. Would you please do me the honor of marrying me?”

Tears welled but before she could reply Hodge began speaking. “I’d always dreamed of having a mate but never thought to meet her. You’re my dream come true, and my miracle. I love you, Celeste Marsden. Please marry me?”

Celeste smiled as she gazed at the two men who held her heart and simply said. “Yes.”

Both men rose, moved back to either side of her, and turned to face the marriage celebrant.

Everything was so surreal and Celeste felt as if she was living a dream. The ceremony was short but traditional and was over way too quickly. Before she knew it, Hodge was holding her left hand and slipping a ring onto her finger. Her breath hitched as she stared at the Sapphire and diamond ring. It was beautiful. “Love you, mate, wife.” Hodge cupped her face in his hands and kissed her passionately. By the time he drew back, she was breathless and she heard a few deep chuckles from the men.

Tarik squeezed her hand and she turned to face him.

“Mine!” Tarik stated in a firm possessive voice.

Celeste nodded. “Yours.” She looked down when he pushed another ring on her finger. It was white gold with a large diamond on top and smaller diamonds halfway down either side of the band. She couldn’t hold her tears of happiness back a moment more and let them flow down her cheeks.

Tarik wiped her face with his thumbs, palmed her cheeks and then kissed her wildly, passionately, and carnally. Heat filled her cheeks when she heard Hodge laugh and she broke the kiss. Tarik rested his forehead on hers as he tried to catch his breath. “I love you, baby.”

  “I love you, too.”

Tarik clasped one of her hands while Hodge clasped the other and turned her to face the people in the room. They all stood and started clapping and cheering. It was the best day of Celeste’s life.

She hadn’t hesitated over giving up the f
alse glamour and glitz of being a supermodel because fame and fortune weren’t all they were made out to be. In her mind, love won hands down—every time.

  There was absolutely no contest.

  Epilogue

Celeste sighed with happiness as she kicked the heels off and reached for the zipper on the back of her wedding dress. She carefully shrugged the dress from her shoulders and removed it before placing it back in the bag someone had thoughtfully left on the bed. She put the dress in the closet and hurried toward the bathroom.

Her wedding day had been so amazing and something she would look back on for the rest of her life. She’d wished she’d been able to marry both of her men on paper, but since it was illegal, it hadn’t been possible. Hodge had explained to her while they were enjoying the scrumptious roast beef dinner that Tarik wanted Hodge to have his name on their wedding certificate. Hodge had readily agreed.

As she showered quickly she smiled over how attentive her mates, her husbands, had been. When her wine glass had been almost empty one of them had refilled it. If she’d eyed a plate of dessert it had been placed in front of her within seconds. She was pleasantly full from the wonderful food and had had a great time talking with her mates’ friends and family. They brought her into their fold without a qualm and she was beginning to care for them, too.

Celeste shut off the shower and dried off. She pulled the pins Tammy had used in her hair, brushed it out and then brushed her teeth. She cocked her head when she heard the snick of the bedroom door closing and smiled excitedly. Her men had showered in the other bathrooms and now were waiting for her so they could consummate their marriage. She couldn’t wait. Her men had been touching her and brushing up against her all night long and she was soaking wet. She’d danced with each of them had to swallow her moans of desire when they each licked over her mating marks. She hadn’t known until then that having their tongues licking her there would be so erogenous. She figured it must have something to do with their bond.

She glanced at the robe hanging on the back of the bathroom door but shook her head. She wouldn’t need it. After taking a calming breath, she opened the door and moaned.

Hodge and Tarik were lying on the bed, naked. The covers had been pulled down and were draping on the floor and although they were looking relaxed, they were just as hungry for her as she was for them. Their cocks were hard and when she stared at their erections and licked her lips, they twitched.

“Come here and let us love you, baby.” Tarik sat up and held his hand out to her.

Celeste walked toward him and clasped his hand. He grasped her waist, turned and lifted her into the middle of the bed. Tarik shifted until he was lying on his side, cupped a cheek and then kissed her deeply. She moaned as their tongues dueled and reached for him as she tried to turn onto her side toward him, but Hodge clasped her wrist and pushed down on her shoulder.

“Stay still, love.” The bed dipped as Hodge moved and then he was nudging her legs apart. His hand caressed up and down her inner thighs and then he dipped a finger into her creamy well.

Celeste groaned and gasped when Tarik broke the kiss. He licked and nibbled down her neck, over her collarbone toward her breasts. Just as he took a nipple into his mouth, Hodge licked over her folds. Liquid heat pooled low in her belly and she began to tremble with need. Her mates had kept her on edge all night long and she was so triggered, it wouldn’t take much to send her over the edge.

Hodge flicked his tongue back and forth over her clit as he pressed a finger up inside. That was all it took. She arched up and cried out as the rapturous orgasm washed over and through her.

“Yeah, baby. I love seeing you come. You’re so fucking beautiful.” Tarik leaned up and slanted his mouth over hers, kissing her rapaciously.

“And she’s all ours.” Hodge gave her a final lick and withdrew his fingers from her wet cunt.

“And you’re all mine,” she stated breathlessly.

“Yes, we are.” Tarik kissed her and then rolled from the bed.

She was about to ask where he was going but Hodge sat up between her legs, his hand wrapped around the base of his cock. “You want me, wife?”

“Yes. Now?” Celeste reached for him. Hodge leaned over and kissed her voraciously, their tongues swirling and gliding. And then he was pushing inside. She clutched at his shoulders, loving how his muscles flexed beneath her touch and sighed with relief when he was all the way in.

“Wrap your arms around my neck and your legs around my waist, love.”

She hugged him tight with her limbs and then gasped when he rolled them over until he was on his back on the mattress and she was draped over him, still intimately connected. Celeste levered herself up with her hands on Hodge’s chest and shifted on her knees. She met his gaze when Hodge made a growly sound.

“You feel amazing around me, Celeste.”

“I love having you inside of me.” She leaned down and kissed him. Tarik got up on the bed behind her, smoothed his hands up and down her back and then kneaded her butt. She heard a bottle popping open and then Tarik was rubbing lube-covered fingers over her ass.

Celeste moaned and tried to push back against him but Hodge had a good hold on her hips. She released his lips and panted heavily.

“Do you want me, baby?” Tarik whispered in her ear and then nipped her earlobe making her groan.

  “So much.”

“Good thing. I’m aching to be inside you.” Tarik’s fingers retreated and when she felt the crown of his lube-covered cock press against her ass, she relaxed her muscles.

“Fuck. Hot. Wet. Tight.” Tarik groaned as he slowly worked his hard dick into her pucker.

“Oh.” She gasped as she shook with hunger. “Move. Please?”

“Anything you want, love.” Hodge gazed at Tarik and nodded.

Tarik drew back until the tip of his cock was just inside her dark entrance and as he shoved back in, Hodge retreated from her pussy. In and out they stroked, increasing the depth, pace, and ferocity of their loving until she was hanging on the precipice.

“I’m close, love. Let go.” Hodge made a low rumbling sound. “Come on my cock.” He slammed his lips into hers as he pressed his thumb on her clit.

Celeste screamed as she went flying.

Her internal muscles quaked and quivered, her body shook and shivered as euphoria held her in its grip.

Tarik drove into her ass with a roar. His cock jerked and juddered as he came right along with her. One stroke later, Hodge yelled as he shoved in deep, his dick twitching and trembling inside her pussy, sending her into another paroxysm of bliss.

Celeste slumped against Hodge’s chest and kissed his skin right over his racing heart.

Tarik kissed the mark he’d made when he’d mated her causing more aftershocks to wrack her body.

“Love you, both,” she murmured knowing they’d hear her.

“Love you, too.” Hodge kissed her temple.

“Love you, baby.” Tarik kissed her neck.

The last thought that drifted across her mind before she fell asleep was, definitely no contest.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Becca Van. I live in Australia with my wonderful hubby of many years, as well as my two children.

I read my first romance, which I found in the school library, at the age of thirteen and haven’t stopped reading them since. It is so wonderful to know that love is still alive and strong when there seems to be so much conflict in the world.

I dreamed of writing my own book one day but, unfortunately, didn’t follow my dream for many years. But once I started I knew writing was what I wanted to continue doing.

I love to escape from the world and curl up with a good romance, to see how the characters unfold and conflict is dealt with. I have read many books and love all facets of the romance genre, from historical to erotic romance. I am a sucker for a happy ending.
