Bride Wanted Page 33

“You’re the only one always saying I have a naughty side too,” she said.

“That explains it,” I told her. “But I’m glad you’ve only ever been that naughty for me. And that’s what matters. You’re mine. I claimed you. And I put a baby in you.”

  “You must certainly did.”

She hugged me and buried her face into my chest. “Looks like these muscles aren’t just for show, huh?”

“Very much the real deal, darling.”

I cupped the back of her head and melded my lips with hers. Nothing felt this perfect before. The stars and heavens aligned just the way I wanted them to.

The bus showed up and left the stop without us.

My soon to be wife wasn’t going to need the bus anymore.

  “That reminds me, Stacy.”

“Hm?” She looked up at me with starry eyes.

I dug the box out of my pocket and got down on one knee. “I have to make sure you’re in my life forever. Will you marry me?”

Stacy cried and pulled me up. “Yes!” she shouted, “I do!”

  ***

Back in my king size bed, I laid her down and spread her legs wide open. I nibbled her clit until she was wiggling around and moaning in pleasure, which didn’t take very long.

“Oh, my God, Grant,” she cried out. “It feels so good.”

“Good old pregnancy,” I said, squeezing her clit now while her juices dripped out into my mouth.

She had told me that sex while pregnant is even better. Her nerve endings are super sensitive because of increased blood flow. And I had thought this was going to be a simple financial transaction. Silly me.

I climbed up on the bed and climbed on top of her, gentle now because I don’t want to hurt her. I look down at her eager eyes before plunging my cock deep into her pussy.

“This feels just as good as our very first time,” I told her, as I thrust in and out of her wet pussy.

She moved her hips around and she was so wet she made my cock throb. Her being extra sensitive seemed to have an effect on me, too. I was ready to pop.

“I’m going to come in you,” I told her, holding her wrists back and above her head while I rode her.

“I’m going to come too,” she said. “Come with me. Come in my pussy.”

“Yes, Stacy,” I said, feeling myself release into her like she’d asked. At the same time, she dug her nails into my neck and cried out, “I’m coming, I’m coming, I’m coming.”

Once I finished spilling my seed inside her, I collapsed beside her on the bed. My arm encircles her stomach. We were panting and out of breath. But all was right with the world.

  ***

“Wow, I’ve never had to go to a court before,” Stacy said, wobbling up the stairs with her growing baby bump. It was much bigger now, and I loved watching each second of her growth. We measured it and took many pictures.

Today we were here to meet the judge about this hidden clause in my inheritance that called for a baby. It wasn’t too ridiculous, since I met Stacy, but it was suspicious that it was hidden for so long.

Regardless, everything moved the way it was supposed to and I found my mate for life. Nothing was wasted.

We were shown to the courtroom where it was only Stacy, me, and the judge.

The judge hobbled up to his bench and sat down. His name was Judge Tracey.

“Well, look what we have here. Never thought I’d see the day Grant Carter settled down. This inheritance clause has done you well, lad.”

  “Yes indeed, your honor.”

“Now that you’ve submitted everything and it’s been confirmed and approved, I have one thing to say.”

  “Yes, your honor?”

Judge Tracey took a sip of his water and shook his head then busted out into laughter. “Your grandfather and your father are two to be reckoned with.” He calmed himself down and took another sip of water. “Let me not laugh too much, I’m sure this has caused you undue stress when it was first mentioned.”

  “Your honor, I’m lost.”

Stacy tugged at my arm. “What’s going on?” she asked, a pinch of worry on her face.

“The inheritance clause, my son. You didn’t have to fulfill it.”

  “What?!”

The judge leaned back in his chair. “The explanation is right here. This clause came from your father since he was allowed a spot to do so when you were young. He didn’t want you to be without a family, but wasn’t going to penalize you if you didn’t. He wanted you to recreate what you two had, but better.” The judge looked at Stacy and smiled. “And it seems to me you’ve done that.”

  “Yes, I have.”

It took a lot of damn courage not to break down and cry like a little kid. That was exactly something my father would do. He didn’t want me lonely like he felt when mother up and destroyed his life.

He had me, and that helped soften the blow.

He didn’t want his son to be all alone. A parent’s love was eternal. And that was new to me. That was something I wanted to emulate for my child as well. Even long after Stacy and I were gone, our child would always feel our love around them.

“Mr. Carter,” the judge said with strict authority, “you filed for a marriage certificate. Tell me the truth right now. Do you love her, or was this just for the money?”

“It was for money at first, your honor. But then Stacy showed me things, and I began to break my own rules. The clause said have a baby, not get married,” I pointed out with a shit eating grin.

“Point well made. I’m happy for you. Both of you.”

  Stacy stood. “Thank you, Judge.”

“Well, everything’s done here. I wish you a happy and fruitful life and a big wedding.

  Epilogue

  Stacy

Today was the big day, and everyone was here.

Willow with Darien and Ariel and Dahlia, Lindsey, my whole family, and even Tara with her new beau. We were all together in a huge hotel where we rented out many rooms and had the reception hall all to ourselves.

Tara accepted the invitation, but was hesitant that Grant wouldn’t want her there. It was all understandable. But I made her come anyways.

I didn’t know those two would actually end up together. But the Navy SEALs guy I got her to share a table with actually took an interest in her, and this time, the interest went in both ways.

Grant’s face nearly dropped when he saw her on the arm of her new man.

“I didn’t know this was possible,” Grant whispered to me.

“I know, but it is. Just look at those two. They totally match.” We were all down in the reception hall decorating and helping with anything we could. But things looked all set here, so I patted Grant’s arm and gave him my cue.

“Well, time for this bride to get all pretty,” I said.

“Yeah, don’t want to be late, right?” Edwin added in. “Let’s go!”

Edwin took me upstairs where my whole family was waiting. My mother, who didn’t have to work a single day in her life again, was in tears and ran over to me with open arms.

“My Stacy! Oh, darling I’m so happy,” she cried.

“Thanks, Mom,” I muffled into her shoulder.

Someone tapped my shoulder from behind, and I looked over to see Tara with her new boyfriend, Drake. I’m glad they made it up here.

“Well if it isn’t Ms. Tara,” I said, giving her a hug. I heard she even went to therapy, courtesy of Drake.

“You deserve this, you know. You’re not someone who hits low, like I once did,” she said, sniffling.

“From the looks of you two, you’re gonna be heading down the aisle yourself.”

Alice busted into the room with the wedding dress in tow.

“I got it! It’s here and it’s so gorgeous!” she exasperated.

Edwin ran over to help her with the train. “Be careful, don’t mess her dress up, butterfingers.”

“Says who?” Alice bit back. “Anyways, let’s get you dressed, Stacy!

Willow and Lindsey entered the room while Darien and Dahlia and Ariel were with Grant.

“Girl, you look great!” Lindsey said. “The retired stripper’s life has been good for you.”

I laughed at her, hoping she would find her own knight in shining armor soon.

Willow and Lindsey helped me lace up in the master bathroom of our suite. This dress was specially made to flatter my baby bump, which was more like a mountain now. Sheesh, what was I having? Twins? The doctor said there was only one boy. Guess he was going to have his daddy’s muscles.

“I’m happy that you confronted your fears,” Willow said.

  “I am too. Thanks, Willow!”

Everyone was seated and the music began to play. Lindsey took her seat, holding the special bouquet an usher gave her on her way down the aisle, to thank her for her friendship and support. Willow was my matron of Honor, waiting at the alter with Darien who was Grant’s best man.

Mom was by my side to walk me down the aisle.

  “Ready?” she asked.

I gulped down a breath of air. “Ready.”

We stepped out into the aisle, every diamond on my dress shined brilliant rainbows. Grant’s eyes were locked on mine as I slowly drifted towards him.

When I reached him, he held my hand.

“Do you Grant Carter, take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife?” the preacher asked.

  “Yes, I do.”

“And Stacy Endow, do you take this rich and once lonely man as your lawfully wedded husband?”

  “Yes, I do!” I chimed.

Everyone laughed at the preacher’s extra words for Grant, but hey, a little humor never hurts anyone.

“You may kiss the bride!” he announced.

Grant moved his eyebrows, letting everyone know we had a lot more than kissing planned… after I finally give birth, because everything felt uncomfortable right now. But good thing blow jobs weren’t out of the question for later.

We kissed and the whole room roared with happiness and cheers.

“I love you, Stacy, forever. Know that I’ll always protect you,” Grant whispered into my ear. “And our baby.”

“And I’ll do the same for you two, too.” I kicked up my foot so he could see the silver heel I had on, even though Lindsey had said I was crazy to wear it while I was so pregnant. “It’ll help if I can always wear heels.”

  Chapter One – Lindsey

I made a mistake. I gave a guy my real number by accident. He wasn’t even good looking, and now my phone is blowing up. Good god, how fucking stupid of me.

I had just got out the shower, feeling clean and sexy. The steam around me made me cozy as I dried off. I tried to wait out the annoying sound of my phone going off. But he had a strong determination.

Didn’t guys get the point after the fifth damn call? When I was finally dry, I stalked into my bedroom and grabbed my phone. Flicking the red phone button on the side to deny his call, I dropped it back down onto the bed and went to my wardrobe.

Being naked was nice, but only for a while. My tits were getting cold. And with no man here to suck my nipples, it would only get on my nerves. That was what men were for; pleasure.

Yeah, there was happy couples and all that jazz. But that was playing Russian Roulette with your heart, and I wasn’t willing to get stabbed a dozen times to find prince charming. No way in hell. I chose a skinny black dress to compliment my short red hair that I had recently cut into a bob.

It fit my face. And it made me undeniably sexier than I had been before.

  Knock, knock, knock.

I approached the door with soft steps without saying a word. Once I was up against the peep hole I had to make out who I saw. The glass on my peep hole was shit. Why was it even here? I rolled my eyes.

“Who is it?” I asked, seeing a feminine figure sway. Hmm, that movement was familiar.

“It’s me, Stacy, hope you didn’t forget this face that soon,” she giggled, waving at the door.

I swung the door open and flung my arms open for a hug. God, Stacy was the cutest little stripper at Bar Seven. She didn’t stay too long, since she met her husband, Grant. “Oh my god, Stacy!” She hugged me, her petite pregnant frame mustered up enough energy to give me quite a squeeze.

“Hey there, How have you been holding up?”

“You know, same old same old, come on in and make yourself at home.”

I brought her inside and she looked around. It had been a while. She was soon to be a mom and now living the life of a house wife. A wealthy one. How did she do it?

“Hmm, still no boyfriend yet?” she sighed, holding her chin in curiosity. She was digging for some positive news. Why did everyone think women always had to have a man.

I flopped down on the black sofa I had in the living room and shook my head.

“Stacy, you know I’m not the kind to settle down. I’m a free spirit, bogged down by no man.” I had to admit, my chest rose a little when I said that. I wouldn’t call it haughty, but more like proud. Confident and proud that I could live life without the appendage of a guy. Too much drama. I’d rather live without it.

I saw what it did to mom.

I saw the fights it caused my sister Samantha. And like hell was I putting my name on the drama list.

Stacy sat down next to me and tilted her head to the side with a smirk. “Oh, so you think I’m bogged down?” She folded her arms and narrowed her eyes playfully. Oh, come on, she knew what I meant.

“Not you! It’s just… dating and stuff isn’t my style, you know?”

“I see. Well, here,” she said, digging into her purse to take something out. She shoved into my hands a small card that had gold embossed letters. Fancy.

“What’s this?” I opened the card and saw the words, ‘You are invited to…’ And I knew exactly what was happening.

“I’m getting married. I know you were the officiant at Willow’s and I want you to be the bridesmaid at mine!” she chirped, bouncing on my couch like a happy kid. The happiness that glittered and danced in her eyes. She was in love.

I wondered, what was the heartbreak she had to endure to find him? What were the risks, and how bad did it hurt?

In the end, I knew she’d say it was worth it. But finding that special someone wasn’t a guarantee in life. It didn’t happen for everyone. Willow and Stacy were lucky. Me? I was going to be realistic and stay the happy single tramp that I was.

“Really? Wow, so many people getting married around me.”

Stacy placed her hands in her lap and leaned over. “Too bad you don’t have a shiny new beau to bring with you.”

“Please, that’s not gonna happen. I’m good by myself.” My phone rang again. I swore to all Gods that were good and unholy that I’d never give out my real number to any strange guy again. “Ugh, damn phone.” I pulled myself off the couch and sprinted into the bedroom. Stacy followed behind.

“Is it a guy?” she asked, clasping her hands together.

“No, just my sister trying to bug me again. Spoiled brat.”

  “So, gonna come?”

We both walked back out into my modest sized living room.

“Sure, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. You and Grant deserve to be happy. I’d love to see you officially tie the knot.” Stacy fought a cough since the place was filled with remnants of cigarette smoke

  “Same thing for you too…”

“Don’t worry, I’m good, Stacy. Bet you’re pretty busy today, aren’t you? Got your wedding dress?” I had to end this conversation of me shacking up with some dude. It wasn’t going to
happen. I liked my sex without strings. Hard, fast, done and gone.

“I’m going shopping for it soon. Maybe tomorrow, you’ll have to come.”

“Sure. I’ll just make sure I’m not busy. The club’s been booking private dances.”

  “Ohh, really? Cool.”

“Meh, it pays the bills,” I said reaching for a pack of smokes on the table.

“Well, got to go. I still have a handful of invitations to deliver and caterers to talk to a million last minute things to do for the wedding. See you, and go find a boyfriend.”

“You’re not going to let up on me, will you?” I sighed.

“Nope. Think about it. Everyone there is bringing their boyfriends or husband. Do you really want to be the odd one out? Anyways, let me jet out the door. I’m going to be late meeting with the caterers.”

  “Take care of yourself, Stacy.”

She slipped out the door like a piece of delicate lace, returning home to Grant. It fit her. The whole situation was just… her. Me? I was a stripper, I didn’t have doll baby looks. I was sexy in a tough yet feminine manner.

“The only single one there, huh? Bet people are expecting me to show up alone, aren’t they?” I said to myself, hunting around for a lighter.

Still, I couldn’t stop Stacy’s words from haunting me. I still had an ego.

Everyone at that wedding was coming with someone. And that meant if I was going alone, that I’d be the subject of stupid conversations. Side eyes and whispers.

Now that I thought about it, showing up without a man by my side would make it seem like I—like I couldn’t get a man.

“Oh shit. Now this feels like a challenge.”

Willow and Stacy knew I wasn’t the lonely type. But the older women would gossip and… well, to be honest, it was probably rude to show up to an event like a wedding all alone and solo.

Stacy would probably feel uneasy about it too. Everyone married with kids around me…
