He’s saying he’s going to be faithful. Forever.
From the moment he’d told her he loved her, she instinctively knew this to be true. Seeing him onstage, while being whistled at by a horde of females, his eyes only on her, left her breathless. The reality was there were always going to be beautiful women striving for his attention. Yet he would always turn them down, and come home to her.
This was her man, the man all of the women in the crowd wanted. And he was all hers.
She smiled as she watched him seductively unbutton his jeans. He smiled and winked at her as he removed them, leaving him exposed on stage in nothing but a pair of black silk boxers. Even though they were loose, very little was left to the imagination.
The crowd cheered its approval.
Belle started singing along with him, laughing as he threw his hat into the crowd.
He thumbed his hands into his boxers, preparing to remove them. Screaming erupted again. He winked, laughing as he wiggled his fingers singling “no”, not exposing himself to the crowd after all.
He turned those fingers into a beckoning sign, and before she knew it, Sirena and Cynthia grabbed each arm and brought her to the stage. What the hell?
They refused to respond to questions with anything but a smile, placing her in a chair in the center of the stage. As the tempo of the song slowed, he walked up to her, straddling and beginning to move against her. The heat of him, centered on her while he danced in front of all these women, was overwhelming.
He bent forward, wiggling his ass into her, making her throw her head back and laugh. She loved this man.
He sang as he lowered himself to one knee. He looked up at her, still smiling as the song ended.
The whole room fell silent.
“I’m in love with you, Anabelle Lahela. No woman in the world compares to you. I’ll always be true to you. I would love nothing more than to make you my wife. Will you marry me?”
She had no idea where the black box sitting in his palm came from. He lifted the lid and exposed a circular cut diamond ring, at least 4 carats, sitting atop petals of smaller diamonds, creating the shape of a rose. The band was also covered in diamonds, curved with details to mimic leaves. It was gorgeous.
She looked up at him, disbelieving. The anticipation on his face made her heart clench.
“Yes! Yes!” she exclaimed, as she grabbed him in for a kiss, the room again erupting in applause and screams.
He kissed her hard, grasping onto her hair, tongue finding hers in complete possession. When he pulled back, he smiled and said, “Told you, I always win.”
