  “Coming, husband,” she called back.

  Right now, the future could simply wait.

  The End

  Continue THE HELL CHRONICLES, and learn more about the Norse Gods in with Hellbent.

  When the gods get upset, Lady Hel has a way of breaking loose!

  * * *

  Sif is a struggling college student caught in-between the gods for an epic battle. All is well until both Lady Hel, the goddess of death, and Thor show up to pay her a visit.

  * * *

  Lady Hel has not been restored to her kingdom, as promised. Instead she is still exiled on Earth. With time on her hands, she's stuck on the idea of family, and her discarded kin, when inspiration hits. She doesn't need to wait for Ragnarok to come for the gods to receive their comeuppance. No, there is no time like the present to hit them where it hurts - their champion Thor.

  * * *

  Thor's in trouble with Odin, the All-Father, for disobeying his orders -close to treason. And, he's also found his way to Midgard just in time.

  * * *

  All roads lead to Sif, and she'll have to choose sides, heart or honor, carefully, or mankind will pay the ultimate price. Broken promises spark enmity.

  * * *

  And when stuck between two gods, how's a woman to choose?

  Acknowledgments

  No author is an island, and I am happy to be a part of a community that continues to lift up its peers. I am thankful for the amazing friendships I’ve acquired, support, and chats. Thank you dear friends for making this story a possibility.

  A special thanks to my amazing readers.

  I’d also like to thank my developmental and line editor, Tessa Shapcott, for her exceptional feedback and assistance. Having a team is super important, and I could not create my stories and bring them to market without their assistance.

  My cover artist is amazing, and I appreciate Ravenborn Covers for their amazing work, in helping to bring my vision to life!

  Author’s Notes

  I am happy to have created this story of Lady Hel and the Alder King. Inspired by Goethe and his poem the Ehrlkonig, and while doing research I found that Lady Hel indeed had a consort, the Alder King. In their original stories, both of these characters are quite sinister and villainous, but my goal was to show the power of love. I am a firm believer that love makes it possible for us to achieve greatness, and to move our own emotional mountains.

  This story is a part of my Dragon series, and helps progress the story arc for the next book in the series.

  * * *

  Writing the Dragons series has been a complete joy! I enjoy Norse mythology and the Norse pantheon. The more I visit, the more I get to know these great characters and present tales inspired by them.

  * * *

  My world, although influenced by Norse mythology, is not a substitute for the studying of the Norse mythology. Instead, I have taken creative license in the creation of my fiction, while maintaining many traits of the gods. Also, there are sources that do contradict, so in that sense, I have gone in the direction as to using a god in the way that would best fit my story.

  * * *

  To assist you in the understanding of the gods and how they tie together in my world, I have created a cast of characters, which includes their traits and connection to others within the story.

  Thank you for joining me on this journey.
