  “I don’t want slow. Please, I need it now, NOW,” Adrianna screamed.

  Cade and Samson’s control snapped and both started pumping in and out of her. She felt like she was going to pass out. The feeling was indescribable. Their panting matched her labored breath. Both of her mates were touching her all over, kissing her body, pushing her closer to climax. Their heavy breathing filled the air in Adrianna’s small bedroom. She knew others had to hear their heavy breathing and moaning. She felt as if she was in another world. It was as if she just didn’t care at all. All she wanted to do was feel the passion from her mates. She started to see spots and then she let out a loud cry as she came.

  She felt Samson picking up his pace as his thrust one last time with a loud cry, calling her name, releasing his climax. Cade grabbed her closer, slamming up into her with a loud howl escaping his lips as he too released his climax into her. She had come again and again falling onto Cade, passing out.

  Cade and Samson both smiled at each other, feeling they had awakened a sex fiend. Her hunger was pure gratification for her mates.

  The next morning, Adrianna awoke feeling like she had run a marathon. She could hear the birds chirping outside and her body ached in all the right places. She tried to open her eyes but Adrianna just wanted to lie beside her mates. She felt a hot body curled around her back. She knew it was Samson. He snuggled up to her, smelling her hair. As she opened her eyes, she could see Cade looking at her with a worried look on his face.

  “How do you feel baby?” Cade asked his voice full of concern. “Did we hurt you?”

  “Oh Cade, no, you didn’t hurt me. You both were great. It felt wonderful and I hope I did everything right, was it okay for you?”

  “Adrianna, you are beyond anything I could imagine,” Cade whispered as his strong arms pulled her against him. Then he kissed her and tightened his arms around her. She groaned as he released her. She didn’t have a chance to move as Samson grabbed her, pulling her firmly against him as he kissed her heatedly. She felt the possessiveness again as Samson growled. She didn’t know how to handle the way she was feeling. She couldn’t stop touching them. They made her feel out of control. She was driven by her control. She freaked out when she didn’t have it. Adrianna knew being mated to two mates was going to be challenging, but she never knew she would feel so out of control. She knew they were watching her, studying her responses and actions to their touches. She didn’t want to disappoint them because of how she was feeling.

  Adrianna felt the urge to have her mates again; however, when Samson started touching her between her legs, Adrianna flinched.

  “Adrianna, don’t be afraid to tell us how you feel. If you are too sore, then you need to tell us,” Samson commanded.

  “I’m sore, but that’s all. That will pass, I’m told. I’m more interested in how you feel and you, Cade.” She smiled shyly at her mates.

  Cade answered first, “Baby, I can’t speak for Samson, but last night was the best night of my life. I have cared for you since you were a child and I care for you more now as my mate. You make the world a better place and make me happy to be in it.”

  Adrianna stared at Cade with tears in her eyes. Nobody had ever talked to her like that or expressed their feelings about how they felt about her. She wanted to jump on Cade and eat him up. She looked at him in a different way. Adrianna looked up at Samson hoping he felt the same way about her.

  “Adrianna, I have never felt this way about anyone. I feel this connection with you, angel. I can’t express how I feel about you in elegant speech. Just know I will be by your side when you need me and in your bed to take care of your needs. I will always be there during your times of sadness, even if you are mad at Cade or me. I will always stand by your side.”

  Adrianna smiled at Samson, sat up, and faced both of her mates. Adrianna knew it wasn’t love, but it was a start. She hoped in time they would come to love her because she was falling in love with them.

  “I couldn’t ask for better mates. I may not always get it right, but I know we will get through it together. Thank you for forgiving me for the way I acted yesterday. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. Thank you for understanding me. I have never felt like this before,” Adrianna said with tears in her eyes.

  Cade and Samson started talking at the same time, when they all looked at each other they started laughing.

  Samson answered by saying, “Angel, don’t apologize for that. We came on too strong and you had been through enough with the information about your past and future. It weighed heavily on your shoulders. But know this, we are here to help shoulder those obligations and problems. Together we will lead the packs and Council. Remember if we work and talk to each other, then we can handle anything. No apology, okay?” Cade nodded with him in agreement.

  “Thank you, that helps. I have always carried everything by myself, so please bear with me. It’s hard to delegate the problems I deal with. So let’s start over and begin our lives together in Ashland.”

  Chapter Nine

  When Adrianna entered the dining hall, Mace was surprised to see the joyous look on her face. The sorrow and miserable look he expected wasn’t there. He stood up as Adrianna and her mates approached his table.

  Hugging his sister, Mace asked, “Sissy, you look happy. Is everything okay?”

  “Yes Bubba, I am. I have been blessed to find two mates who care for me and make me happy.”

  “Oh Sissy, I can’t tell you how happy that makes me feel. I love you so much and can’t stand to see you unhappy or in pain.”

  “I’m flying high on the clouds, that’s how happy I am this morning.”

  Mace looked at Cade and Samson and nodded to them. Cade and Samson knew what that nod meant. They both smiled as they sat down to eat breakfast.

  Later that morning, Adrianna, Cade, and Samson were putting the last box into Samson’s SUV. It was a beauty. Top of the line, black in color, it was a 2012 Escalade with all the bells and whistles. Adrianna couldn’t wait to drive it. She knew that Samson was very dominate and had to be in charge so she knew he wouldn’t let her drive any time soon, she would have to work on that. When they arrived in Ashland, Adrianna would buy herself a car, maybe one just like Samson’s has. She never had a need for a car at the Resort because everything was always brought to her. She had never wanted for anything.

  Mitchell Johnson, one of Afton’s Protectors, brought Afton’s 2013 model Escalade around and parked it beside Samson’s 2012 model. Both Adrianna and Cade looked at each other and smiled, turning around so Samson couldn’t see them snickering and laughing. Samson looked at Mitchell like he could kill him, but never said anything knowing it was Afton’s car.

  Afton and Selena came out, as Samson was about to say something to his mates for laughing at him.

  Afton looked at Adrianna and asked, “Are you ready to go home, baby girl?”

  “Yes, I can’t wait to finally be home. I don’t even know what it looks like anymore or if anybody will really remember me.”

  “Don’t be nervous, it’s your home and people don’t forget their friends and neighbors. That’s one thing that makes Ashland so special. They take care of their own, Adrianna, and you are part of Ashland,” Afton said as he kissed Adrianna on the head.

  “Okay, let’s go. We will stop halfway, but keep your eyes open. Selena says she hasn’t had any visions concerning our drive to Ashland but she has a feeling we are being watched,” Afton said as he looked down at Adrianna with concern in his eyes for his daughter. He knew her mates would want her to ride with them, but he was still worried about her.

  That one comment put Adrianna back into Protector mode. She walked toward her mates narrowing her eyes. She was tethered on the inside. She had almost forgotten about what she did and became lax because her mates made her happy. Cade and Samson immediately came to her side asking her what was wrong.

  “Nothing, we just need to watch our backs. Selena feels we are being watched. I have alr
eady put patrols in position to try to spot anybody watching us or following us to Ashland.”

  “I have as well, angel. I will always protect you. We have Guards leading and following us. Cade and I have already discussed this and have prepared our people to watch for Rogues,” Samson whispered.

  Adrianna gasped at her mates. “Okay guys, what happened to talking with each other and working together?” Adrianna asked her mates.

  “Listen angel, we will do what we have to in order to protect you. You are ours to look after. We know what you do, but you also have to know what we do. We are very dominant Alpha males, who will do things without your knowledge or ask for your permission so we can protect you. I won’t apologize for that. You will need to deal with it,” Samson snapped. His tone was clipped as he addressed her.

  “Adrianna, we love you, but you need to give us a break on this,” Cade stated calmly.

  His words echoed in her head. Adrianna sighed then rolled her eyes at her mates. “I just asked why you didn’t work with me on this. I want to share the responsibilities too.”

  Cade and Samson both looked at Adrianna and smiled, but Adrianna knew that look. She knew her mates were not going to discuss everything with her. Well, two can play that game. Adrianna planned as she felt the tension in her shoulders over her mates not being able to completely trust her and tell her things they had planned.

  Cade crawled into the backseat with Adrianna. He pulled her toward him, and then got her to straddle his lap.

  Cade whispered quietly, “There is too much tension in this car. I will have my mate, then we will switch half way and Samson will get to sit in the back with you. I want to take that tension you are feeling away and I know just how to do it.” Cade’s sexy voice gave Adrianna goose bumps. Cade knew Samson could hear every word he said and knew what he intended to do to Adrianna in the back seat as they drove to Ashland.

  Adrianna sighed as Cade placed soft kisses on her neck. “You are so beautiful, Adrianna. You take my breath away every time I look at you. I will never get enough of you.”

  Adrianna smiled as she enjoyed Cade’s soft kisses. “What a sweet talker you are, Cade Maxwell,” Adrianna whispered in Cade’s ear.

  Cade immediately yanked her top off and started kissing down to her breasts. His hand slipped down to her pants and instructed her to stand up. Then Cade proceeded to pull her pants and underwear off. He growled as he sniffed the air, knowing she was already wet for him. Cade could smell her arousal.

  Adrianna couldn’t control the wild feeling. Then again, she didn’t want to. She wanted to forget about everything and everybody for a while.

  Then Adrianna reached up and jerked Cade’s shirt until he lifted his arms and the shirt came off. She couldn’t stop touching his chest and stomach area. The only thought that came to her mind was stud or Adonis. The list could go on and on. He made her wetter just by looking at him.

  “Now you stand up and strip those off.” Cade just looked at her with that grin on his face that made her want to throw him down and fuck him. He slowly moved as best as he could to take off his shoes, socks, and pants. Dear God, the man wasn’t wearing any underwear.

  “You like what you see, baby?”

  “Oh yes, yes I do.” Adrianna couldn’t believe how she was talking. She was usually so laid back and shy. Adrianna didn’t even blush as she was looking at Cade, licking her lips. Hell, Adrianna couldn’t believe she was naked in the back seat of a car. She started giggling at her thoughts.

  “Honey, if you keep laughing at me, then you are going to give me a complex. What’s so funny?”

  “Nothing, it’s just I can’t believe I’m sitting in the back of this car, naked, doing this. It’s just funny.”

  Samson started laughing, which made Cade start laughing. Finally, Cade grabbed her and straddled her legs across his lap. The laughing stopped as the air crackled with desire. He started licking his way from her neck to her chest, traveling first to her left breast, licking then sucking it. The stronger he sucked on her breast, the wetter, and hotter she got. She was panting with so much hunger for him. She couldn’t control the sounds she was making. He pulled his lips away from her breasts latching onto her lips. He groaned into her mouth. Adrianna couldn’t control her actions. She located Cade’s hardened member and lowered herself down onto him. He hissed into her ear, groaning as he pushed her further down slowly. He was going too slowly for Adrianna’s taste, so she pushed all the way down on him. She whimpered, wanting more and more from her mate. Cade grabbed her ass, pulling her harder against him. He was so thick and long. She couldn’t believe she could take all of him, he was so big. He knew how to take her, how to make her moan louder. He pushed up as Adrianna came down. The friction he was putting on her sent electricity in the air. Magic was floating around them as tiny sparks were dancing in the air.

  “You drive me crazy, Adrianna,” Cade groaned into her ear. Adrianna whimpered, knowing her orgasm was coming fast. Growing wilder as she moved. She wanted the hunger she was feeling to last longer. She cried out, aroused by her mate as the first orgasm came. Adrianna shivered, loosing herself as the next orgasm came with a rush.

  “Yes, baby, let go. Damn Samson, she is so hot and tight. I’m losing my battle to last,” Cade bellowed.

  Samson growled, knowing he had two more hours to drive before he could be with his mate. Listening to Adrianna and Cade make love was killing him. He was so hard he almost came in his pants listening to Adrianna’s moans and cries.

  Cade hissed as he grabbed Adrianna tighter, fisting her hair pulling her neck back as his orgasm approached. He pushed her down further, sucking her neck where it met with her shoulder. Cade wanted to finish the bond and bite Adrianna making her his, but Samson and he had discussed that they would wait until they arrived in Ashland. They both felt it was the place to complete the bond. Cade’s wolf came to the surface scratching his way up, pushing his teeth out wanting Cade to bite their mate. Cade’s claws come out as he grabbed Adrianna, placing little scratches on her ass. Cade backed his wolf down, telling him they had to wait until they arrived in Ashland, and then together Samson and he would bind as three with Adrianna. Cade came shouting Adrianna’s name, rubbing his hands up and down her spine, whispering in her ear how much he cared for her. Adrianna had felt Cade’s claws come out, but she knew with her being part wolf and vampire; she would heal within minutes from the scratches.

  Adrianna and Cade settled back into the seat, struggling to gain control of their breathing. “I’m tired now,” Adrianna whispered, trying to keep her eyes open.

  Cade caught her face in his hands and lovingly looked down at her. “Sleep baby, just rest.”

  “I’m too heavy, I need to get off you,” Adrianna urged.

  “No you’re not, don’t move baby, you feel so good right here.”

  Adrianna couldn’t argue with Cade because she loved the feeling of being in his arms. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

  Cade continued to listen as Adrianna’s body began to relax and she fell into a deep sleep before he spoke to Samson.

  Samson looked into the review mirror making eye contact with Cade before he spoke. “We have to protect her even if she doesn’t know about it. I feel that more danger is coming. We need to mate with her as soon as we get to Ashland. I can’t wait any longer. It’s hard enough driving while you are back there with her. I want to touch her all the time. I don’t know if I can be without her even for a minute. It’s taking all of my control. I never knew it would be this way.” Caring about Adrianna had opened Samson’s heart in a way he thought would never happen. He had used women for sex and never thought about how they felt. He couldn’t let anything happen to her. He would always protect Adrianna—even from herself.

  “I know how you feel, I want her again. I can’t get enough of her. She is everything to me. We will protect her, Samson, or die trying. Call the Guards to get an update and I will call my people.”

  Samson checked i
n with his Guards asking for an update. Cade looked down at Adrianna, holding her closer, listening to Samson talk to his Guards.

  Samson got off the phone then stated, “They said they never actually saw anyone but they could tell that we are being followed somehow. I made sure all our vehicles were spell protected and bullet proof. We will need to find a home big enough for us. This home will need enough room to accommodate the Guards and the Protectors. I want Adrianna protected at all times, even when she doesn’t know she is. I have put a call into a family friend who is a powerful witch. We need some magic involved since we really don’t know who is after her. I know Adrianna has her own magic, but I trust this witch to assist us in this. She will provide magic for our home in case something happens and Adrianna can’t use hers.”

  “I spoke with Joshua Cahill before we left the Resort. He told me that the Nether World has a vested interest in Adrianna. They believe if Adrianna were to be brought down and her powers used for evil, then it will throw the Nether World into darkness. It will change everything, as we know it. They plan to send their Wardens to watch over the Trinity. We will need Joshua; he is extraordinary in his job. He can figure stuff out before you can even think it. He’s a good friend who trained with Adrianna too. She will feel comfortable with him, but I have only heard stories of the Wardens,” Cade said.

  Samson asked, “What are the Wardens, really? I have only heard stories about them in my training. I have never seen one. I only know they are dangerous and magical creatures that can manifest into anything. They are very powerful and show no emotion. I don’t know how Adrianna will deal with them, she’s so loving, even with the Guards and the Protectors she shows her heart.”

  “Let’s worry about them later when we actually know what we are dealing with. Let’s find a house and get her settled. I need to get with my pack, talk with Mace about moving some of them here to Ashland and having Betas running the different areas. There is a lot to do when we arrive, but first is to mate with Adrianna and finish the process.”
