  Chapter Thirty-Seven

Inside, Lawrence took charge, got Selena seated with a glass of wine and went to make sure her family was not stuck in line. She loved it. It was so nice to be taken care of. To have someone do, even small things, for her. Sitting back, she enjoyed the ambiance. They had gotten an exclusive table on the second-floor balcony, overlooking the dining room below. The sparkling chandeliers hanging over the diners were at eye level, and it added a magical feel to the place. The round table, big enough for 8 was set to the nines with full-course cutlery and dishes. The white linen glistened under the exquisite candelabra adorning the center of the table. Yep, Selena could get used to this, especially after the day (week?) she had. Lawrence arrived back at the table first, and he sat down and shared a kiss with Selena.

“They are on the way. Your siblings got a real kick out of being able to skip the line. Just smile and have a good time Selena. You are surrounded by those who love you.” Lawrence smiled and kissed her cheek one more time as they saw her family following the maître d to the table.

“Selena!” They all exclaimed, more excited to see her than they ever had been previously. She got a kick out of their nervous excitement and smiled, playing along.

“So glad you could make it, sit down.” She kept the smile firmly in place.

Her mind kind of went fuzzy as her family chatted around her and Lawrence kept them busy with wine, food and his never-ending charm and wit. Every once in a while, she would feel his hand on her leg, and it made her tremble with desire. As much as she enjoyed seeing her family, she wanted to get Lawrence alone. Naked and alone.

“I ran into Laura the other day.” Selena’s mom said to her, out of nowhere. “She said you have not been at work much lately. Is everything okay?”

“Yeah, mom. Everything is fine,” Selena spoke trying to hide her annoyance. “I’ve just been working in the field. There is one story I am working on that requires me to travel a fair bit.”

As she was speaking, Lawrence’s hand crept up her thigh, inch by inch, caressing her nonchalantly.

“You should tell her more about that story,” Lawrence said as his eyes gleamed.

Selena breathed hard; she was trying to ignore the tingling that was quickly spreading to the center of her body, flushing her with arousal even as she sat around the table.

“Yes, honey, I love hearing about your work. We are so proud of you.” Her mom agreed, smiling adoringly at Lawrence, not Selena.

“Ok, mom.” Selena began and then started making up a story. Bouncing off the lie she told about Scriva industries, she embellished adding all the help they were doing in the community and that they are on the front lines, fixing issues daily. Meanwhile, Lawrence’s hand had crept further, spreading her legs and touching where her wetness was spreading.

Not missing a beat Lawrence motioned for the maître d to bring her family over to the dessert buffet. As he did, her family’s focus turned to the three tiered table offering fancy and delectable desserts, and they walked over to it. Selena moaned as Lawrence slid inside her making a rocking motion with his fingers. Her legs spread wider, her breathing deepened and her mouth fell open in ecstasy. Lawrence slid his chair closer to her, inhaling her scent with a wide-eyed aroused look on his face. She bit her lip, and no one heard as they were all negotiating who would try what.

Selena gave Lawrence a hard look begging him to stop, feeling the waves of pleasure build inside her and being embarrassed it was happening in such a public place. As always with him, she was torn between letting go and worrying about other people. Something in his smell, his touch, his sound made her desperate to let go and give herself over to him. He leaned over and whispered in her ear.

“You are my naughty girl, and I want your wetness all over me. Come for me Selena.” He sped up his rhythm and her eyes rolled back.

  “I can’t,” She said.

“You want me to punish you when we get home.” He growled, thrusting into her.

“Yes!” She replied a little too loudly, her body rocked with spasms as his gruff threats turned her on and sent her over the edge.

Catching her eye, he finished her off and removed his hand from under the table. Leaning into her he put her hand on his erection, pushing into her with incredible lust. She kissed him and leaned in, needing to feel his touch and be near him.

As far as Selena was concerned, the night was over. It was time to get Lawrence back to his place and take care of the bulge that was threatening to burst from his pants. In fact, she didn’t think she could wait that long. She wanted to get rid of her family so she could hide under the table and suck him off, driving him wild with her mouth. Shaking her head, she nodded in agreement to whatever was being said at the table. Visually she was counting how many bites it would take them to finish eating so they could politely leave.

Lawrence, seeing her eager, taunted her and prolonged the meal, ordering specialty coffee to go with the dessert and striking up a conversation with the Grier men. Her brothers sat in awe and asked him rapid fire questions about his business and being rich. Her father seemed smitten as well as he eagerly agreed with everything Lawrence said. And her dad never agreed with anyone. Selena sat back for a moment and watched her family fall all over themselves to impress him and finally after what seemed like hours, days really, Lawrence pushed back from the table and declared it was time to go home. Closing her eyes tight for a moment, Selena forced herself not to sigh in relief. Instead, she hugged her family, thanked them for coming and agreed that they would have to get together again soon. It was all too much, and Selena made a note to see them without Lawrence so she could call them out on their bullshit behavior.

Alone, at last, Lawrence held both her hands and looked at her thoroughly, up and down. His eyes were wet with desire and she pressed herself into him, feeling his hand on the small of her back. They stood there looking at each other, inching closer bit by bit until they were eye to eye, staring with intent to share their passionate fantasies through telepathy. A throat clearing behind them brought them back to reality, and they saw over half of the restaurant staring at them, a few had even snapped pictures.

“Take me anywhere I can get you naked,” Selena begged in a barely audible voice.

“I am going to take you somewhere where I can keep you naked.” He replied with a growl and led her to the waiting car.

  Chapter Thirty-Eight

Shivering Selena awoke naked and strapped to a bench. He really had punished her when she got home, and she gasped at the memory, her soreness reminding her of where he had whipped her. It had started with a spanking. Maestro showed her what happened when she did not have an orgasm when she was told to. The same rule applied if she had an orgasm without permission, he had insisted firmly with her bent over his lap. She was at peak arousal and his hand slapping her ass over and over combined with her naked clit rubbing against his course pant leg was enough to make her shudder and release her desire.

Remembering his arousal when she had gotten him wet with her juices made her wet again. She moaned and tried to move to touch herself, but she was on all fours, bent over a bench and tied the hands and feet.

  “Lawrence?” She asked tentatively.

“He’s not here but will be back shortly. Is there anything I can do for you?” A voice spoke from behind her, someone she couldn’t see.

“Who are you?” Selena asked trying not to panic but very nervous about how vulnerable she was to this stranger.

“I am the watcher.” The voice replied. It was a male voice, and Selena shivered thinking of the view he had.

“Can you get me off this thing? I really need to use the bathroom.” Uncertainty rising, she reminded herself to trust Lawrence even if she didn’t know the man he left with her.

“If you ask me properly, say please watcher.” His voice grew deeper.

“Please, watcher can you help me.” She went quiet, but a warmth was burning deep and low at the thought of her Maestro wat
ching this from a distance.

“I will blindfold you and then release you. Be still.” He said.

She saw two hands holding a blindfold and then the room went dark. Then she felt hands removing the restraints from her wrists and guiding her to stand. She felt wobbly and dizzy and steadied herself on the bench while he removed the rest of the restraints from her ankles. She was about to step away when his voice grew impatient and harsh.

“I said be still.” He commanded and gave her a light spank.

Gasping in shock Selena was livid. Only her Maestro could touch her like that. She spun to face this stranger even though she could not see him. Her bouncing breasts rubbed against a course material. The sensation stopped her in her tracks, and she could feel herself becoming aroused. At that moment, the watcher clipped something to the harness around her chest, grazing her breasts slowly, almost purposefully.

She moaned briefly and then clasped her mouth closed. She felt a tug and reached to her chest realizing she was being guided by a leash. It was so strange not to be able to see and to have to rely on a stranger to guide her. Selena had even forgotten the nervousness about being naked and was getting a bit of a thrill wondering what would happen next.

Her feet stepped into the bathroom, and the Watcher sat her down on the toilet. Apparently, he was going to watch that too. She groped blindly for the paper towel then stood and flushed. The leash tugged again, and she was placed in front of the sink. She washed her hands and dried them on a towel that was held out for her. The Watcher was closer to her now, and she could smell his expensive cologne. The way his shoes clicked on the tile floor made her aware they were not sneakers or even work boots. Whoever the Watcher was, he watched in style.

Without further ado, Selena was led to the bed where her leash was tied to the bed. At least she had a better range of motion. But she had to leave the blindfold on. Selena wasn’t sure she liked this game, or whatever Lawrence was doing. If he was here, doing this, she would be begging for him to let her touch him but waking to a stranger was unnerving. She could hear him talking on the other side of the room. He was muttering, maybe arguing with someone. Selena strained to listen.

“No, that is way past being a watcher I am out.” He said. After a short pause, he stammered, his voice starting to calm. “I don’t know if that is possible. Ok…ok…ok…I will try.”

Pretending not to listen, Selena heard him walk over to her. With a swift motion, he removed her blindfold and dropped something on her lap. She wouldn’t look at him, was too nervous.

“That is a dress, put it on.” He spoke in a more demanding tone than he had used properly.

She pulled the cotton dress over her head and maneuvered it into place. Not being naked was improving her level of comfort and she glanced up at him. Gasping she chided herself for being surprised when it was her driver/bodyguard. He untied her making her able to wear the dress without sex costumes getting in the way. Still without her phone, he handed her his and said: “Lawrence wants to speak with you.”

She picked up the phone. “Hello?” She said tentatively.

“How’s my girl? Listen now, go with W and do what he says. You have to take a flight to come and see me. Things are getting complicated again. But you are going to meet me somewhere amazing where we can be alone. OK?” Lawrence spoke fast almost like he was reading a list.

“Why can’t we fly there together?” Selena was confused and felt three steps or more behind.

“It’s complicated. So listen. You have to pretend to be W’s wife. Do what he says and act as if you love him, just till you get off the plane. He will bring you to me, but you have to pretend. Do you understand?” His voice was cold and direct.

“No, I don’t understand. Why would I pretend to be married to W? You’re scaring me Lawrence.” Selena’s voice was shaking.

“You get turned on when you are scared. Besides, you need to be. If you do exactly what he tells you, you will get to paradise with me. If you do not. Well, then I cannot protect you. So you have to pretend to be married. You must kiss him before you leave so it does not look awkward at the airport. Kiss him now so I can see you have it right.” Lawrence spoke, his voice softening.

“You can see me?” Selena questioned. “I cannot kiss him. I don’t want to play this game.”

“This is not a game Selena. Kiss him.” Lawrence growled when Selena said no again and something switched inside her. “Kiss him, my naughty girl. Pretend it is me. Kiss him how you will kiss me when we see each other next.”

Ludicrous, Selena thought, but she took a step forward. The Watcher (or W as he was now being called) looked terrified and angry. He stood stock still and didn’t move a muscle. Biting her lip, she took a step forward then stopped and shook her head. Then she lunged forward, hearing Lawrence’s demand and kissed W aggressively taking her anger out in a long passionate kiss.

“Good girl. Now hold his hand and walk out of there. Put me on speaker.” Lawrence paused a moment while Selena did as she was told. “Now listen carefully both of you. Your safety depends on you doing exactly what I say. From now until you reach me do not let go of each other’s hands. It will keep you close and remind you how important this charade is. Kiss, touch and hold on to one another as much as possible. Gaze nowhere but into each other’s eye. Get on that plane and cuddle close until you reach me. Face each other and away from everything else and we will get through this. Got it?”

“Yes, Maestro,” Selena spoke sliding closer to W.

“Yes, sir,” W spoke cold and firm, but he adjusted his gaze, onto Selena’s body.

  Chapter Thirty-Nine

In the air, Selena was trying to count the number of times she’d been on a plane. It was possible she might double it today. This was her third flight, and she lost track of where they were going (which she supposed was the point). Sitting and holding hands with W, she needed to keep her mind off the weirdness that was the day. He had warmed up to her as was his job. Doing well to act the part of devoted lover, he held her close and whispered in her ear. His kisses and touch were cold and calculated, and he mostly whispered security reminders and what she should say or do. Selena plastered a smile on her face and tried to picture Lawrence when she touched him. From the looks, they were getting everyone bought it. The story W kept repeating was that he was taking his special girl on a special trip. And she continued to smile.

Glancing over at him now, W was leaned back with his eyes closed but Selena guessed he was awake and taking in everything with his other senses. She sighed, and he flinched. Sitting in the middle seat, she shrugged and leaned her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes as well. Not moving anything but his shoulder, he readjusted and put his arm around her, pulling her into him. Now resting on his chest, she could feel his bulky chest rise and fall. He smelled strong and spicy, and Selena was awake and alert again shocked at how she had gone from never speaking to him to cuddling and kissing him in the span of a few hours.

“We’re here.” The next thing she knew W was shaking her awake his lips in her hair. “Follow me, sweetheart.”

His voice was louder when he said sweetheart, for the benefit of the people around them. She kept her head low and stepped in close as he led the way off the plane. Once out in the open, he put his arm around her. She quickened her pace to keep up. Ducking around a corner W led her to a helicopter. Grabbing his hand, she stepped in and settled into a seat beside him, shaking. The co-pilot turned to check that they were ready to go. It was Lawrence. He smiled at her, and her heart raced, the shaking grew more intense. Now he could fly helicopters, of course, he could. What couldn’t he do?

In the air, she looked out the window to see a patchwork of blue and green. The islands were spaced out evenly and seemed to stretch on as far as the eye could see. After some time, they hovered over a smaller island with no distinguishing landmarks. Getting closer a clearing of grass could be barely spotted; only with the aid of a man with a flag did Selena finally see where th
ey were headed and by then they had almost landed.

The silenced sound of the helicopter was met with a flurry of activity. A crew from the ground moved in to offload the helicopter and move it into a covered opening in a hillside. W guided Selena out of the helicopter and towards the forest with his arm still around her. Lawrence walked up to them with a sideways smile. They all froze until Lawrence put his hand out.

“I’ll take her now. At least you didn’t have to kill for her.” Lawrence laughed and took Selena’s hand pulling her into an embrace.

The day of firsts continued as Selena heard W laugh. “Not yet anyway. Let’s keep moving.”

“All work and no play is that right? Well once we get inside, and you do your security check you can probably take 5.” Lawrence said with a chuckle.

  “Where are we?” Selena interrupted.

“We are on a holiday after a long, hard ordeal.” Lawrence held her pushing into her body with a need Selena felt too. Her breathing intensified, and she chastised herself for automatically thinking about how much she wanted him. The heat between them made clothes unbearable. As his grasp around her waist tightened a soft moan escaped her lips and Lawrence’s eyes went directly to her mouth.

Licking her lips, she gave a coy smile and spoke her mind, “Yes and after all that, we might have to spend all day in bed.”

They got into a waiting vehicle and drove down a long winding ocean road. As Selena stared off in awe at the gorgeous seascape, Lawrence held her close and kissed her neck. W sat stiffly across from them, for once not driving. A short distance later they were ushered down into a marina, and onto a dock. Selena looked at the huge yachts and wondered where they were going. Among the huge yachts and sailboats, there was a small four seater motor boat, and they climbed aboard. Lawrence put a lifejacket on Selena though no one else wore one. They boat drove off, leaving the view of the island and weaved in and out of the other islands, small ones. The boat slowed as they entered a rocky cavern, under a land bridge was a secluded cove with crystal clear water. The hot sun evaporated the salty spray that hit their cheeks.
