Michael trailed his tongue through Lindsay’s mouth, his hands going to her cheeks. She seemed awkward and unsure what to do at first, but Michael eventually convinced her to dig down and find a little bit of that confidence. Lindsay was like finding a gold nugget among a pile of dirt, beautiful and rare. Their tongues danced, trailing from one mouth to the next in a give-and-take game.

Lindsay put her hand on Michael’s chest after a moment, and pushed him away gently. “What is this?” she asked quietly. Michael furrowed his eyebrows at the girl, he didn’t understand. It was a kiss. “Between us,” she clarified. “I don’t know if bears feel love, and I don’t know if this is just you wanting a one-night-stand.”

“I don’t know what that is,” Michael said. Humans had so many strange words and terms that he was unused to. “But I know that I like you more than I like other bears.”

“I’m not a bear, Michael—and you can’t compare me to other ones,” she furrowed her eyebrows at Michael, who groaned at her hesitation.

Instead of allowing her to talk more, Michael grabbed the human by her shoulders and whipped her around, pushing her body against the tree. She had a touch of fear in her eyes, the same way as she had looked earlier that day.

“I am an Alpha,” Michael said, curling his lip in a small snarl at Lindsay. “You cannot tell me what I can and cannot do.”

He surged forward, and kissed Lindsay hard. She seemed shocked at first, and struggled, but soon gave in. She kissed back, putting her hands on Michael’s shoulders and pulling him as close as she could. Without waiting for permission that time, Michael forced open Lindsay’s mouth with his. His tongue dove in, and she gave him a light bite, but nothing that deterred him. Rather, he was spurred on.

He pressed himself against Lindsay, rolling his hips in a slow motion. Michael felt as though he was nearly rock solid, and from the way Lindsay reached down and grabbed him through his deerskin pants, he knew that she felt it, too. She rubbed and massaged the hardness she found there, and Michael groaned into her open and willing mouth.

Michael pulled back with a hungry grin on his face, tucking away Lindsay’s stray strands of hair. “You have no idea how long it’s been since I’ve been with a woman I’m actually interested in.

“Is that supposed to be a compliment?” Lindsay scoffed. “If it was, you’re pretty shit in that department.” She said it with a laugh, and Michael knew that she was joking. She paired her words with a sharp squeeze to his cock, and Michael let out another groan.

“You’re really asking for it,” he mumbled. He kissed Lindsay’s neck, burying his nose there and biting the soft skin. He wasn’t by any means gentle, but he certainly had no intentions of marking up his newfound mate. His mind nearly froze with his last thought, but he let it slide. He could call Lindsay his mate and be content with that.

“I want you, Michael,” Lindsay breathed.

Michael grinned against her skin. “Are you certain that you can handle a bear?” he asked. He ignored the amazing feeling of Lindsay palming him through his pants, and slipped his hand into her fluffy pants. She wasn’t wearing any underwear. Michael smirked at that and went on his way. He let his fingers travel farther down her body, caressing her most intimate of places. “Have you ever been with a bear?” his voice was low, a deep rumble in his chest that resonated through the dense forest.

“No—but have you ever been with a human?” Lindsay retorted. She let out a cry as Michael slipped his first finger between her lips, massaging the little rosebud that he found tucked away in that velvet warmth.

Lindsay squirmed under his ministrations, finding it hard to focus on Michael for much longer. For so long she had been satisfied with just her own fingers, and perhaps with a few toys, but it was clear to her the difference that came with somebody else’s hand. It was as though Michael could read her body exactly, and knew just what she wanted. He pressed down hard every now and then, but mostly rolled the tip of his fingers in little circles that were so light, it was as though he wasn’t touching her at all.

Heat pooled at the base of Lindsay’s spine and between her thighs, threatening to consume her. She felt as though there was molten metal in her veins, and she bit her lip, trying to contain all of her little noises.

“Oh, God, Michael,” she whined, leaning her head back.

Michael took in the novel beauty of her pleasured expression, a smirk on his face. “You’re a mess,” he teased.

“It’s kind of hard to think straight,” Lindsay retorted. She gasped again when Michael slipped a second finger to join the first, followed by a long moan as he began to move them up and down. “We—we really shouldn’t be doing this in the woods,” Lindsay panted. She could hardly think straight, Michael’s fingers felt amazing. “We could,” her words were interrupted by a little groan, and she bit her lip. It took her a while to recover, what with Michael diving forward again and suckling at the skin on her neck. “We could go back to my place,” she said.

Michael huffed. He had three fingers down her pants, he was as hard as he had been in months, and was suggesting going somewhere else. “Why would I do that?” he growled. He dropped easily into his Alpha voice, with the intention of making the human submit.

It had no effect on her, and she batted his hand away. “Michael—please, for me?” she begged. “Just somewhere where I won’t have to worry about bugs in my hair and dirt all over me.”

“You’re already covered in dirt,” Michael mumbled. “It really won’t be that big of a deal.” He wanted to continue denying her, but when she looked up at him with those big eyes, he could hardly resist. She was so gorgeous, there was no way he could have continued to push aside what she wanted.

Stubbornly, he pulled his hand out of her pants. She gave one last groan as he brushed over her clit, but nothing more than that. His fingers were nearly dripping, and he raised them to his mouth, licking away all of the slick that had come from Lindsay’s body. Lindsay whimpered, staring at the show that Michael was putting on for her.

“You’re going to be the end of me,” she mumbled.

Michael grinned at her, wiping his fingers off on his pants. He was still suffering with a raging hard erection, but he tried to put it aside for Lindsay. She gave him a sweet kiss, able to taste herself on the edge of his tongue. Michael kissed back eagerly, searching out every corner of her mouth with his tongue.

“Let’s go,” she said as they pulled away from the kiss. She grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the human civilization again. Michael lifted his nose to the air as they walked, smelling the arousal pouring off Lindsay in droves.

“You smell amazing,” he breathed. He felt as though he was getting drunk off her scent, feeling a dizziness in his head. He nearly felt lightheaded as he followed Lindsay, walking on air the entire way.

“You smell like you’ve been living in the forest for years,” Lindsay quipped. Her tone was teasing, though, as she guided Michael out of the forest and into the moonlight.

He had to shield his eyes, squinting at the bright light of the moon that shined down on him. He couldn’t remember the last time he had been out of the forest. Michael pulled his hand away from his eyes after a few moments, having realized that he had been standing there and staring at Lindsay dumbly.

“When was the last time you left the forest?” she asked. Her eyebrows were furrowed in concern as she watched Michael.

“Not since I was a child,” Michael said quietly. It was the truth, since the humans had settled along the edge of the forest and torn down the trees, none of the bears had ventured from the forest. If they didn’t care for their life, they might risk it, but Michael wasn’t one of those bears. He still had a shred of self-preservation in him. “Before the humans moved in.”

“Michael, this town had been here for nearly twenty one years,” Lindsay said. She moved closer to the bear, and put a hand on his cheek. “You’ve been cooped up in the forest for that long? How did you manage?” she asked.
>
“It was either that or die,” Michael explained. He had none of the previous mirth and energy that he had started the night with. Thinking back to his childhood upset him. “I didn’t want to end up light the others.”

  “What others?” Lindsay asked.

“My brothers and sisters,” Michael said quietly. “My mother had many cubs, but they never listened to her about the dangers of the human world.”

“I’m sorry,” Lindsay said. She leaned forward, and captured Michael’s lips in a soft kiss. In a whoosh of air between the two of them, suddenly all of his worries were forgotten. His world once again revolved around Lindsay like the moon and the sun.

Michael’s hands traveled to Lindsay’s hips, and he pulled their bodies closer together until they were flush against each other. Their bodies slotted together perfectly, as though they were meant to be like that. The girl pulled away after a moment, and put a hand on Michael’s cheek. She was smiling at him, and he admired the way her lips pulled into a beautiful crescent moon.

“You don’t have to be sorry,” he said. “It wasn’t your fault.”

Lindsay shook her head, softly petting the top of Michael’s head. He leaned into the touch like a cub would follow the touch of his mother. He loved the feel of her hand, how soft each of her digits were compared to his own.

She didn’t say another word, understanding what Michael meant. If he had gotten over it, then she would patronize him about it for much longer. She could already tell that Michael wasn’t the type to want pity, and it wouldn’t matter to him if he needed it or not. Instead, she took his hand again, and began to lead him towards her house, as the original goal had been. She glanced over her shoulder occasionally, smiling at him.

After a few minutes of walking along the edge of the trees they arrived at a small house, Lindsay was careful that they were never in sight of neighbors’ windows. The last thing she needed was to be caught taking a bear out of the forest. It was tucked away against the trees, a most humble abode that suited a girl like herself. She didn’t have a fence, and the line between her backyard and the forest bled into each other that it was as though there was no real difference between the two.

She guided Michael to the backdoor, a sliding glass door that made far too much noise for Michael to be comfortable with it. He put his hand against the glass, amazed at how cool it was. He had experienced glass before, but only in the tinted bottles that he found littering the forest. He had never seen such clean glass, and he was amazed at the way he could see right through it.

Lindsay entered the house first, and guided Michael into a wide open space. There were a few plush seating fixtures scattered around, but nothing major. He scanned the area, furrowing his eyebrows.

“Do you live with anybody else?” he asked. He sat down on one of the couches, leaning back. He groaned quietly at how comfortable it was. He’d need to bring one with him back to the forest. There was no way he could survive sleeping on straw, furs and leaves. He could smell scents of other human girls, but they were faint. There were a few scents of males mixed in, but he wouldn’t allow himself to become jealous.

“No,” Lindsay said. “It’s a small place, with only a living room, this tiny kitchen and one bedroom. Oh, and a bathroom,” she added after a moment.”

Michael felt a little sigh of relief pass through his lips. Lindsay was rooting around in the kitchen, but he didn’t know what for. He glanced around the house, noticing the lack of pictures and other such things hanging on the walls.

“When did you move here?” he asked.

“I’ve been here for a few years now,” Lindsay said, “but I’ve lived in the town longer than that. I got my own place after I graduated high school.”

Michael furrowed his eyebrows and frowned. “What’s that?”

Lindsay laughed, and gave Michael a little roll of her sage-green eyes. “You don’t want to know, trust me.” She eventually left the kitchen, walking over to Michael.

She was holding his gaze, something that he wasn’t quite used to. The girl sat on Michael’s lap, a knee on either side of his hips. She seemed hesitant at first, as though scared she might break Michael. When she finally settled herself, Michael smiled at the comforting weight her body provided. He passed a hand over Lindsay’s arm, softly caressing the skin and tender flesh.

“You seem so fragile,” he muttered, looking up at the girl.

Lindsay laughed again, but it was far quieter than it had been earlier. “That’s the first time I’ve ever heard that one,” she said. “I’ve always been told that I look like a whale or something like that.” She frowned, and looked away from Michael.

He put a hand on her chin, turning Lindsay to look at him. Michael met her eyes, and held her gaze with his intense one for a while. She looked pensive, as though thinking back to all of the horrible things that had been said to her because of her weight. Michael wanted to tell her that it was okay, that to him she was the most beautiful woman that he had ever seen. He wanted to tell her that to bears, the more weight a female had, the more beautiful and more attractive she was.

Michael didn’t say any of those things, instead he put a hand on Lindsay’s chin. He pulled her down and gave her a soft kiss. He knew that telling her she was beautiful wouldn’t be enough. He wanted to caress each part of her body, and tell her through his actions.

Lindsay kissed back, putting her hands on Michael’s shoulders. She could feel each craggy bone, and wondered for how long the bear had gone without a proper meal. He was gentler with his touches, barely brushing his fingertips against Lindsay’s skin. She wasn’t even sure that he was touching her, rather dusting her with gossamer brushes, like the silkiest of winds brushing against her skin.

When Michael finally broke the kiss, Lindsay was ready to ask him a question—perhaps if he wanted to move off her uncomfortable couch—but she felt that the time wasn’t right. Michael had his eyes half-closed, looking at the world through his dark lashes. He peppered kisses against Lindsay’s cheeks and all over her face, ever gentle with his touches. Every kiss was a soft peck, barely pressing against Lindsay’s skin before moving away and finding a new spot.

It seemed as though he spent an eternity before moving down to Lindsay’s neck, something she had been badly craving since their tryst in the forest. He gave her none of the same ravished attention as before, all worshipful delights. Michael used the tip of his tongue first, licking a slow, wet stripe along Lindsay’s pulse. That was his favorite place on the human girl’s neck, finding that having nearly complete control over her life and death exhilarating.

Next, he used his teeth. The edges of his fangs tripped and fell like a flowing river across Lindsay’s neck. Where he felt the need, he would bite her, erring on the side of a little nip.

“I’m not a doll, Michael,” Lindsay said. She felt awful for breaking the silence, but the last thing she wanted was to let Michael continue with his infuriatingly slow pace. She could complain for years, but without a doubt, the wet patch on her pants and the heat flowing through her body would tell otherwise.

“I want to tell you I love you,” Michael replied.

“Then just say it,” Lindsay argued.

Michael shook his head, and applied a well-placed series of nibbles across her collarbone. The girl took in a sharp breath, leaning her head back. Without realizing it, she had begun to roll her hips in small circles, down against Michael’s. She could feel the hardening in his pants, and smiled down at him.

  “Not good enough,” Michael mumbled.

He had reached the collar of Lindsay’s shirt, and a flash of hesitation passed through him. Michael glanced up at Lindsay, receiving a go-ahead nod from her. It was hardly more than a dip of her chin, but Michael understood the meaning. He lifted the hem of Lindsay’s shirt, a nighttime shirt that hardly did more than to cover her chest and her belly. The skin that was revealed to him made his mouth nearly water, watching with rapt attention. It was nearly magic, as he pulled th
e red shirt upward and was shown more and more milky skin.

Michael saw the first bulge of her large breasts, and his breath caught in his throat. He knew he couldn’t wait a moment longer, and ripped the shirt over Lindsay’s head. She was startled, a wild, bemused look in her eye, but when Michael’s mouth attached to her left nipple, all doubts were lost.

Lindsay gasped, a rush of electricity, new and fresh, coursing through her body. It started at the base of her spine, and spread out from there, numbing the tips of her fingers in a giddy tingle.

“Michael, oh God,” she whispered. Lindsay closed her eyes, and hooked her bottom lip between her teeth. “Don’t ever stop,” she pleaded, her voice trembling lightly.

Michael seemed to be an expert, pressing the tip of his tongue in all of the right places. He used his teeth sparingly, knowing that the girl’s chest was sensitive. In the spots he did use his teeth, it was like the most wonderful magic, liquid fire spreading through Lindsay’s veins.

“Michael, keep doing just that,” she encouraged. The rolls of her hips had turned from little and feather-light, to needy and sloppy. She couldn’t get enough pressure between them, and she doubted that if she used her fingers to try and get some sort of release, it wouldn’t do anything for her. All she could think about was Michael, she hadn’t even gotten to see the bear with his pants off, but from lustful grabs, she knew what she could look forward to.

Needing to breathe, Michael eventually pulled back from Lindsay’s chest. The nipple he had been working on was darker, and had formed into a stiff peak. The other was still mercifully soft, and he took the bud between his fingers, rolling it with a smirk to his face.

“You sound like a cub, begging for it like it’s your first time,” he teased. He had created such a gentle, loving pace to start, but with a few well-placed licks and bites, he had gotten the girl to turn into a complete mess under his ministrations.
