“Hi angel,” Dillon said, entering the living room from the kitchen with a tray of drinks. “Did you just get home?”

“I did,” she said turning to face him, suddenly feeling nervous. “Where’s Cole?”

“Right here,” Cole said entering behind Dillon with a tray of snacks.

“Jenna, what’s wrong?” Dillon asked, setting his tray down. He started toward her but she held up both hands in a stop motion and he went still.

“I need to tell you guys something.”

Cole set his tray down and moved to stand beside Dillon. “You can tell us anything, baby.”

“I know,” she said. “It’s not a matter of can I but how do I?”

“Whatever it is, just say it angel.”

Jenna nodded, opened her mouth, closed it and began chewing on her lip. “Jenna, you’re killing us here,” Dillon said. She looked at them apologetically, then reached into her back pocket and removed a folded sheet of paper. She took a deep breath and held it out.

Dillon stepped forward, took the sheet of paper and unfolded it while Cole moved close enough to look over his shoulder. Jenna watched them carefully as their expressions went from confusion to understanding, and then they both went a little pale. Her heart leapt in her chest as they both looked up at her. Then they smiled and she released the breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding.

“Why in the world would you ever be worried about telling us this?” Dillon asked as they both moved to embrace her.

Jenna frowned. “Maybe you need to take a closer look at that.”

Dillon held the paper up again, studied it, then went pale again. “Oh yeah,” he said. “I see what you mean.” Cole grabbed the paper and looked at it again as well. When he met Dillon’s gaze a moment later they both threw back their heads and whooped loudly. Jenna rolled her eyes.

“You two are crazy,” she said.

“You can’t tell us you’re not happy, angel,” Dillon said, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. “We know you better than that.”

“Well of course I’m happy,” she said. “But it’s gonna be harder on the two of you this time around.”

“What did Doc say?” Cole asked.

  “Here we go again.”
