The Rokkaia Chronicles

The other were of my dark-pocket-plane, being invaded by monstrous limbs.
For seven months as a kid after the authorities had finally gotten a clue, one which I gave my math’s teacher Miss pierce, who then clued in the police, who clued in the social services and some child protection counselling service. For those seven months every week I learnt to not be afraid of everyone around me or their touch, that they were not all like my foster-parents Michael and Louise Delbert.
The soft press of a warm naked body against my side revealed the sleeping Marisa. Soft snores escape her full lips, her curly hair didn’t float while she slept so it’s crimson length fell about her neck and shoulders.
I couldn’t resist the allure of her body’s scent and I gently smoothed away the hair and planted light kisses along her folded arm, around her shoulder; and traced her collarbone. She rolled slightly allowing me easier access to her neck, where I nibbled, sucked and licked. I heard her breathe a contented sigh and I felt her hands massage my scalp. I closed my eyes and just revelled in the moment, if I was to be ripped away from this goddess then I would have to make it memorable for us both.
I kissed down Marisa’s body, cupping her breast as I lightly played her nipples with licks and kisses travelling down her navel from which I then licked a trail to each side of her curvaceous hips as I then palmed her ass.
I dipped my face down between her thighs and tasted her. She quivered and moaned as my tongue slid across and along the lips of her sex. I pushed in lapping up her wetness as I explored the depths of her personality, which tasted oddly like mint-ice-cream.
I removed one of my hands from where they palmed her ass cheeks and began to rub my hand slowly against her clit. Then I started to alternate between rubbing her and sucking on her clit as I pushed my fingers steadily inside. A few trembling minutes later her insides squeezed around my fingers when her climax came, I immediately doubled my efforts and sucked hard on her clit. Her thighs clenched around my head and neck and squeezed; her heels crossed locking behind my back. Her fingers clawing my scalp, shoulders and back.
“Oooh! Fuck! Hm, fuck—Rokki—don’t,” she screamed in blissful ecstasy. When she finally calmed and released me, I wiped my mouth and chin and grinned at her. She bit her lip as aftershock racked her body.
“Well that was a pleasure,” I said smirking at the goddess.
“How- how did you get so good at this?” she asked me breathlessly.
“It’s like anything, practice makes perfect and there’s something incredibly erotic about using my mouth to bring pleasure to a woman,” I answered honestly.
“Well,” she purred huskily at me. “I know something else you can practice with.” Marisa’s soft warm hand wrapped around my hardness and tugged me toward her wet entrance. When we were eventually a spent and breathy mess of sweaty bodies. We laid next to one another and her hand found mine, our fingers interlaced, and I found comfort from such small skin-ship.
Yet, these moments I spent with Marisa Thal’lor Rokkaia just lying here felt right. Felt more intimate than such a simple bond and I wondered back to her first words with me, about the mention of us being soul-bound.
I wanted to ask her what that really meant, but I found myself shying away. With my breathing finally under control I rolled to face her and she the same to me. For a long moment I stared into her orange eyes; her hand caressing my face in a strangely loving manner.
“You know. I waited for this my entire life,” she said quietly.
“You mean…” I started to say. Wondering if she meant it about the sex.
“When we found you my… and I felt your signature. I was complete once again. Whole.” A tear fell from the corner of her eye, I smiled and wiped the droplet away. “And I saw what they…” My gut wrenched in knots at her words. I knew exactly what she meant. Worse though is that I felt my face freeze and my blank mask slide into place.
“I’m sorry, I know you don’t want to talk-”
“Then let’s not talk about it,” I said interrupting her, hating that my voice was calm and devoid of warmth. She gave me a sombre nod and I forced down my raising anger, because I knew everyone’s first impression when they found out was to conveyed pity for me. I took a deep breath and pulled Marisa into me. She hesitantly rested her head on my chest and traced a scared between my pectorals, one scar of many I knew all too well. A burn from one of her cigarettes. Oh, I had several others.
Mostly around my inner thighs and on the back my legs. My mind shrieked at the memories they each bore.
I knew eventually, I’d have to confront their memory again. To once again realise that what they did to me, hadn’t been my fault. I mean fifteen years later, and I still feel some measure of guilt for Louise.
“Jon?” the name broke me from my thoughts, and I glanced around as if the name belonged to someone else other than me.
“Hmm?” I mumbled.
“I won’t ever hurt you. I just want to make that clear,” Marisa told me. “Before we leave, because I’ll be different once we’re down there.”
My brow furrowed in confusion, “what’d you mean, we’re down there. You’re coming with me?” I asked and ignored her comment about hurting me. I’ve heard that sentence enough.
“On Viria,” She answered. “I was going to surprise you, but something in you is telling me that It would be… better to forewarn you.”
As she finished talking, Marisa rose flinging a leg over my chest, so that she could straddle me.
“When I began my search for your handsome self,” she started with a grin, running her hands down my muscular chest. “I split myself into fragments,” seeing my look of confusion. “Imagine a tiny flaming body with my voice. They’re rather cute if you ask me,” she explained. Adding the last part more to herself than the explanation. “Well, when I did; I gave up the vast majority of my stored reserves. I can gather more over time. But now that my Bonded is with me, we’ll be closely tied to one another and our essence will be shared. You’ll be the majority, which means I’ll be depending you to return to my true state.”
Her hands trailed down my torso till she reached the base of my shaft. she gasped lightly and scooted back, slowly stroking my penis. I moaned as she continued.
“What I mean is... I won’t have this appearance. I be reduced to my primal form.”
“Primal form? You mean like an animal?” I asked feeling a tad worried and maybe even jealous. Primal form sounded badass.
“Yes, my bestial form is that of a Draconic Phoenix,” she answered. I paused as a groan escaped my lips when she mounted the base of my shaft and slid her slick sex along the underside of my length. I gasped again when she moved, her hand firmly rubbing me as well.
“W-wait, isn’t a phoenix basically a chicken? So, you’ll be scaly chicken?” I asked amusingly. I hadn’t really any knowledge of phoenix birds other than that they were birds, died and were reborn from their ashes. I vaguely remembered there being a phoenix in Harry Potter, but I’d never been a fan of the books or the movies. Don’t ask me why.
Her mouth fell open at my response, and I couldn’t hold but chuckle and squeezed her hips as she smacked my chest rather forcibly. “No, a Draconic- Phoenix is a rare breed of drake, think of a Dragon the size of...” She trailed off staring deep into my eyes and again I got that vague impression like she was searching through my mind for the correct image. “Two jumbo jets or bigger with a 200 foot wing span. The Dragon has Bronze scales with red feather interlacing between each scale. So, a… Feathered dragon. Yes, exactly like that,” Marisa finished with a decisive nod.
I just stared at her and started to wonder if she was fucking with me. The pleased smile she gave me confirmed that she was fact being fucking serious.
“So,” I started cautiously. “If we’re soul bound as you say, does that mean I too have a bestial form?” I felt like the frog at the bottom of well, not knowing the full-scale of the world beyond the rim.
I caught Maris
a grimacing slightly, she pressed her hands into my chest and moved them up and down idly. Stopping her grind on my dick.
“Well- remember when I said we found you?” she asked, and I nodded. “We discovered that your bestial form had been separated from you.”
I raised an eyebrow, unsure what to feel; should I feel something? Marisa continued, “Your beast- which by the way is dread wolf-similar to the Fenrir of our nieces’ domain. The domain from which we pulled you from, your connection to Wyatt Rosen somehow allowed your beast to leak through and help Wyatt. But when the connection was cut by Ra’al, it severed you and your Shade.”
“And Wyatt is now a bubbling spew of lava. So-so is my primal form dead then?” I asked her as an uneasy feeling settled over my heart, like it was sinking.
“No, your beast is not dead Jon,” Marisa told me, whispering her words. “Wyatt still held onto him. When you enter the portal and proceed down to Viria. You’ll be enhanced, linked, and your beast will be returned to you. Except that this connection might tax your body too greatly.
“You’ll already be focused on channelling the elements. We worry that your Shade, may carry a fraction of the taint conceived from Wyatt. But I believe Ra’al has a solution to that problem.”
Sensing the end to our discussion my mind shot back to something she had said; but I’d completely skipped over. “Wait, did you say Fenrir? Are Norse gods real?” I asked incredulously. But Marisa leaned forward and kissed my forehead; then clambered off the bed. My erection sadly forgotten.
“Come. We have eternity to be inquisitive, Ra’al will be waiting for you. He’ll most likely have advice and a directions for where to start on Viria. He’ll also tell you to take care for your little draconic phoenix.” She finished as her tight jumpsuit materialised and her crimson curls flowed up writhing coils of fire above her head.
“Don’t you mean chicken?” I inquired with a grin as she glared. “Come along my Draconic-chicken. Ra’als awaits and my skin feels the sudden need to evacuate my bones.”
We left my humble room and a short time later arrived at our destination. The walk was a fairly short one and it finished with us arriving at a dead-end which apparently was another wall-door, the unadorned white wall pressed in slightly with a soft hiss of released pressure then slid aside. Ra’al The Son of Suns. As titles went, I thought his were rather simplistic, if not a bit stylised Egyptian. I mean I get it, Marisa being a draconic phoenix most likely meant she have an affinity for fire and rebirth, or something. But that was only a guess, and if bestial nature determined god-ish accolades what about me having a dread wolf.
Had a dread wolf. Just nod your head and act like it’s all normal. I was most definitely looking too deep into this but those were my thoughts as we entered the room.
Ra’al was pacing before back and forth in front of a glass desk. The room we walked into held more decorations and furniture that anything I had seen so far in the facility—not that I’ve gotten to explore—and I was sure there many hidden rooms with their stupid secret wall-doors.
A collection of bookcases with a mass of volume of books and tomes, their spines adorning the same strange hieroglyphs I had glimpsed on Ra’al translucent screen. A few carried the glyphs except at the end of each title a smaller glyph was nestled beneath and to the left of the of the title glyphs, as if they were the identifying numbers of the book. A small circular beige rug sat beneath the glass desk Ra’al walk around. It was an odd attachment to the room, seemingly out of place.
More book cases, shelves and displays layered the wall behind the desk. A crystallized blue cradle sat off to the side, within the cradle a small ball of purple dust hovered up and down in a trance as it flexed constantly; its surface rippling with small bumps and spikes. Reminding me of sound wavelengths.
Ra’al turned, he wore a simple dark brown robe, affixed with a belt at his waist. Like the ugly beige rug, his attire was also poor, he looked more like a poor priest than anyone of note.
“Good you’re here. Let’s begin,” Ra’al said eagerly when he noticed us. “Time is running short. I’ve managed to move certain key figures in the right direction, Figures that’ll be crucial to you objective. Right here we go.” He waved his hand at the glass desk and a moment later it and the rug slid backwards soundlessly to reveal steps proceeded downwards and Ra’al started descending without further comment. I looked to Marisa and she nodded for me to follow.
The steps into the vibrantly lit basement-like room were fourteen, fourteen steps down and I was staring at a vertical vat of golden fire flowing in twisted convulsive circles.
The vat stood upright like a large portal, enough for me to completely pass through. A set of computer displays sat off to one side, their screens riddled with the hieroglyphs. I imagined they were there for monitoring purposes; a soft beep counted every fifteen seconds and I realised I had stopped at the entryway to the room.
Ra’al moved around screen tapping inputs and affixing settings. Marisa hands pressed onto my shoulders and I moved further in.
“Right, give me several seconds to set up an ‘Identification Tab’ then we’ll discuss the important stuff,” Ra’al said absently as his waved his hands and danced them through various menus of symbols. I looked at Marisa and saw she was stood leaning her back against the wall near the stairs; her arm folded beneath her full-round-breasts. The super-suit really did favours for her natural assets and she stared back at me her predatory gaze un-blinking and speculative.
I got the distinct impression that she was worried for me and nervous. Though she only portrayed a calm reassurance on the outside, the empathic sense I had with her felt like it was growing stronger. A result of the soul-bonding thing, or the sex maybe? I could only guess. She gave me an imperceptible nod as if reading my thoughts? She gave another nod; a small smile edging her lips. My eyes widened at the implications and I swallowed hard, trying to blank all thoughts. Did her father know about this, and use her and this telepathic ability to goad me in?
I eyed Ra’al somewhat suspiciously as he skimmed through more menus and tapped others aside once he was through with them.
Each screen was holstered on a mechanical limb connected to a stand mounted atop the floor.
I thought back to my dimension plane-thing. I had explored several possibilities and capabilities of my ‘pocket dimension.’ The first I found was that couldn’t house living beings, nor could I pocket plant life, but fruit and vegetables were fine. I could pocket various other bits of food and water, except that time for things of sustenance continued. So, a bottle of water would be fine but would come out a little stale and warm. Food would rot and decay becoming completely uneatable. I could house minerals and metals, such as iron, steel, zinc, copper and cobalt, but that was all I managed to test.
There is also the need for me to make physical contact with the object I’m warping. As for the weight of the item it must be something I can physically lift, so no cars or tanks I’m afraid. Why hadn’t I ever thought of becoming a thief or a magician—oh I know why—attention. I would always worry about others seeing what I could do and somehow capturing me, then doing experiments on me.
I always knew what was within my dimensional plane. There is a subconscious layout of everything within the plane. I could project myself there and grab the item I wanted or just conjure the object to either hand. Time affected food and fluids, but didn’t rust metals, there was also a lack of temperature within the pocket, yet with the effect of time, fluids still went stale and warm. Which was a pain in the ass when your realised that a bottle of Pepsi you had is actually 2 years flat.
I was broken from my thoughts when Ra’al cleared his throat. I nodded and my eyes slid past Marisa who seemed to find her bare feet particularly interesting. “Okay, we’ve a number of thing’s to get through quickly, so let’s summarise and tally our marks of stuff that’s needed to be done,” Ra’al said with an eager clap of his hands.
“Al-right,” I said a tad deject
edly.
“First is Viria, you’ll land and yes I said land; big old drop out of the sky. You’ll land somewhere near the western coast of Haroxi, the main central continent on Viria. From there you’ll need to head north and find the Glen’dal coven. Bunch of witches and druid’s, they’ll help with the whole primordial beast thing.”
He looked to me to see if I was still following, which I was.
“I thought my beast was with Wyatt?” I asked scratching my at my cheek.
“Yes and no.” Ra’al said with a frown. “Your primordial form is a separate entity from recently the deceased Wyatt Rosen. It is a part of you mostly, so once your reshaping is done, you’re going to have separate yourselves again, though physically this time, otherwise you’ll die.”
With a firm shake of his head he carried on, “once the good witches help you out head west and search out the Valakhari on Pharon-something, they’ll help, I hope. Your main objective is to stop the Shi’en, after them though, we’ll discuss what’s next. Maybe stay on Viria clean it up completely and then move on to other domains or- well we’ll focus on this first.”
He focused back on to the terminals he’d been mashing away at, “come you’ll need to see this,” he said, and I moved over.
He stood before a display screen running with the same strange symbols, except now they were a pale green, almost metallic colour. They glinted softly in the pale light of the clinical white ambience.
“What am I looking at exactly?” I questioned; which resulted in Ra’al tapping himself on the forehead.
“Of course, you can’t read it, I’ve been so excited I’d forgotten.” He pulled the monitor away and adjusted a few things, moving slider left and right. He then moved the terminal back in front of me.
“Don’t worry about languages, once I emplace a fraction of my power, you’ll know every single language within my domains. They’ll all bleed through as if the same language; which I might add you’ll be able to speak back. Anyway, read your ‘Identification Tab.’” And I did, looking over the now readable display.
