by Wilder, Chiah

He ran his hands over her back then grabbed a fistful of hair and yanked her head back to kiss her deeply. “You have no fuckin’ idea what you do to me,” he said in a low voice. Then he pulled back and jackhammered into her.

Two hours later, Mia lay tucked in next to Army, her body sated and glowing from several orgasms. She’d blown out the candles and the only illumination in the room was a sliver of moonlight spilling in.

“It wasn’t too much for you?” Army asked as he stroked her head.

Glancing up, she smiled. “It was perfect.”

“You and me are real good together,” he said in a low voice.

“Yeah.” She held her breath. Do you love me? I love you so much.

“We got this connection that goes beyond fucking. It’s damn cool.” He kissed the top of her head.

  “I love being with you.”

  “Me too, babe.”

I have to tell him about Vic. First thing in the morning. For sure.

“You want to play some more?”

Mia chuckled. “I’m good. You’ve worn me out. I’m happy just holding you like this.”

“Yeah it kicks ass … you kick ass.”

She pressed her lips to his chest. “So do you.”

They lay together in a warm, comfortable silence, their legs tangled together and arms curled around each other.

I have to talk to Vic. He has to see reason—I need to make him listen. She craned her neck and saw that Army’s eyes were closed. She snuggled closer to him.

How could I ever leave him? Army allowed her to become the darkness she had always wished to explore.

He touched her deeply, and what she felt for him was a helluva lot more than fluttering hearts and smoldering eyes—it was more like two souls catching fire.

  Chapter Twenty

Army woke up with Mia’s ass against his hard dick, her face covered by messy caramel-brown hair with several tendrils stuck to his chest. He ran his hand down her arm, smiling when her skin pebbled under his fingertips. She was beyond wonderful, and as hard as he tried to push down his feelings, they kept rising back up. Mia trusted him implicitly when they were together, and he trusted her, which was a new feeling for him when it came to a woman.

Mia’s so special. I don’t want any other chick but her. Damn … I never thought I’d feel like this. She’d done something that he never thought would be possible with a woman—she’d made her mark on him. He sucked in a deep breath and exhaled it slowly as he watched her sleep. I can’t stop looking at her, and I’m always thinking about her. I’ve been to Durango more in the last couple of months than I have in the last five years. He bent over and kissed her hair. And I love the way her face twitches when she’s nervous or too excited. He chuckled softly under his breath.

The phone pinged and he groaned inwardly hoping he didn’t have to go back to Alina until tomorrow. While looking at the text, he dragged a hand through his hair and blew out a breath. “Fuck,” he mumbled as he texted back, telling Steel he’d be there in an hour.

Army put the phone down, and his chest tightened when he looked over at Mia again before rising to his feet.

When he came out of the bathroom, Mia was sitting up in bed, looking down at her phone. She averted her gaze to him, and a smile lit up her face, which made his dick twitch. Damn.

“My ten o’clock rescheduled, so I’m yours for the next three hours. Oh … and tonight, I thought I’d make fajitas, and we can watch a movie.”

For the first time since he became a Night Rebel, he wanted tell Steel he couldn’t come back until the next day. He walked over to the bed and bent down to capture her lips in a long kiss. “I gotta go back to Alina, babe. I got the text fifteen minutes ago from the prez. Chad, who’s a citizen, is sick, and I’ve got to be at Lust. It sucks.” He pulled away and shuffled over to the chair where he grabbed his jeans after tossing the towel around his waist to the foot of the bed.

“When will you be back?” Disappointment wound around her voice.

“After the rally. You’re coming with Taylor, right?” He slipped his T-shirt over his head.

“I can’t get away. Saturday is way too busy, and I have a few private clients on Sunday. I’m trying to raise money to get an attorney for Finn.”

“I can help you out with that.” He pulled on his boots.

Mia shook her head. “Thanks, but I couldn’t take money from you.”

Army stopped in mid-zip and looked over at her. “Why the fuck not? We’re together, and I wanna help out your brother.”

“I’ve never taken money from a man before. I’ve always been sorta nutty about it.”

He finished putting on his boots then walked over to her. “Fuck, woman, I’m not just a man … or am I?”

“Of course not,” she said quickly.

“Then I’m gonna help you out. That’s what people who are together do—they help each other out.” He swept his lips across hers. “The discussion is over.”

She looped her arms around his neck and pulled him down so hard that he toppled on the bed. She laughed then gave him a wet and passionate kiss. “You’re the best.”

His cock strained painfully against his jeans, but he knew if he gave it what it wanted, he’d be disrespecting Steel, so he pulled away and lightly patted her ass. “I’ll call you later today. You can meet my dad and Asher on my day off.”

All of a sudden, Mia’s face grew tight and her right eye started twitching. “I wanted to talk to you about something. Can you tell your president that you’ll be a little late?” She put her thumb to her mouth and chewed the cuticle.

“I can’t, but we can talk later. Uh … are you pregnant or something?”

Mia dropped her hand and shook her head. “No.”

“Can it wait until I come back next week?”

“I suppose.” She gave him a small smile.

“Maybe I can come on Monday. I’ll probably have to go back that night to work at Lust, but we can talk then.”

“I’m not sure how I feel about you working full-time at a strip bar.” Her forehead creased.

She’s fuckin’ cute when she’s jealous. He dipped his head and brought his face inches from hers. “I don’t think of anyone but you. The dancers are just bodies on a stage.”

“Thanks for saying that, but I can’t believe that you don’t watch them or get turned on.”

“Of course, I do, I’m a man. But … there’s no one I want to be inside of but you.” He brushed his lips gently over hers. “I better get my ass going.”

After making sure she’d reset the alarm, he straddled his bike, and took one last look at her standing by the window before he rode away.

Hard rock beats from local bands floated on the crisp breeze like the autumn leaves falling down from the oak trees. The aroma of smoked meats from the food stalls wafted around the rally, drawing people to them. Slick custom Harley-Davidson motorcycles gleamed under the fading western sun as hordes of leather-clad men and women milled down the aisles appreciating the iron machines. The bike rally had pulled in a record number of bikers and citizens that year, making the Night Rebels pleased that they could cut a hefty check to Bikers Against Child Abuse.

Army waved at Kelly as she walked past in a wet T-shirt plastered against her braless chest. All of the club girls volunteered at the rally either by engaging in the T-shirt competitions or washing bikes in skimpy outfits. Some even squared off with citizen women in the mud pit.

“This event keeps getting bigger every year,” Bones said to Army. Some of the members from the Insurgents MC came down from Pinewood Springs. Bones’ new Forty-Eight Special Sportster was one of the bikes entered into the competition. Hawk had customized it by adding chrome pipes for more sound, and ghoulish demons and a scantily-clad woman holding a big glass of beer decorated the coverings that surrounded the bike.

“Yeah. It’s turning out to be one of the biggest rallies in the Southwest. That bike of yours is a real
beaut. How’s the ride?”

  “Fucking awesome!” Bones replied.

“I bet. Where’d you get that wicked hood ornament?” Army took the beer the prospect handed him.

“Jerry designs them. Talk to him. He’s got a ton of kickass ornaments. Hawk’s got them at his shop, but Jerry’ll custom one just for you.” Bones lifted the plastic cup of beer to his mouth.

“I’ll hit him up for sure. How’s life treating you in Pinewood?”

Bones tossed the cup into one of the large trashcans. “Not bad. I hear you got a woman. When Eagle told me that, I almost shit a brick.”

“I almost shit a brick. Mia sucker-punched me.” Army chuckled.

Dressed in a long-sleeved crop top and short shorts, Kelly came back over and stood next to him. “Buzz is looking for you,” she said, her eyes on Bones.

“Thanks. I’ll catch up with him.” Army laughed to himself because he could practically see Kelly salivating. Whenever he and Bones hung out, he noticed women checking out both of them. Several of the club girls loved it when Bones came into town, and they tried to outdo each other in an attempt to have him hook up with one of them during his stay. Sometimes he’d hook up with just one club woman the whole time, sometimes he’d try out a few of them. Kelly had a real soft spot for him. Army wondered if Bones would pick her or one of the others.

“How’ve you been?” Kelly asked softly.

Bones glanced at her, his dark chocolate eyes roaming over her body. “Good. You?”

“Real good.” She placed her hands on her lower back which pushed out her chest more. Army sniggered then scanned the area for Buzz. Spotting the tall guy, he chugged down the rest of his beer then said, “I’m gonna see what Buzz wants. You coming?”

Bones’ long dark hair fell over his shoulder when he shook his head no. “I’ll see you around,” he said, his gaze fixed on Kelly’s tits.

Army lifted his chin to Bones then walked over to Buzz, who was checking out a killer bike in metallic lime green.

“Hey,” he said, coming around to Buzz’s side. “I noticed that bike earlier this morning. It’s fuckin’ wicked.”

“I spoke to the biker who owns this work of art. He customized it himself. I love the way he mixes the green with the chrome. Even the fuckin’ hubcaps are decked out.”

“I’d love to get an older Harley and take my time in fixing it up. I’m good with the mechanical stuff, but can’t draw a damn straight line, so I’d have to hire out to do the art stuff. Did you see Bones’ bike? Hawk customized it and another dude in the Insurgents, Jerry, made the ornament. I’m gonna hit him up to make one for me.”

“I saw Bones’ bike earlier. Selling all that weed is paying off big for the Insurgents. The bike is a showpiece, and it must’ve cost him a fortune,” Buzz replied.

Army whistled over to the prospect. Razor rushed over. “Two beers,” he said, and Razor tilted his head and hurried away.

  “How was Durango?” Buzz asked.

Army’s head flinched back slightly. “You asked me that last night. The answer is still that it was good.”

Buzz chuckled. “Last night I was drunk as shit and only had pussy on the brain.”

  Army guffawed. “Sounds about right.”

“That chick you brought to the party last Saturday, she’s an MMA fighter, right?” Buzz took the plastic cup from the prospect.

“Yeah. Have you seen her fight?”

“I’m pretty sure I did in Tucson. My uncle’s nuts over MMA, so he took me to a fight when I was visiting him. I remember her eyes—they’re pretty hard to forget.”

Mia’s face skittered through his mind, and the memory of her lips and the scent of her perfume curled around him. He shifted in place as his dick woke up. “Yeah, they are.” They’re mesmerizing. Damn. I wish Mia was by my side right now.

“Have you known her long?” Buzz asked over the rim of the cup.

  “Enough. Why all the questions?”

Buzz rubbed his hand over his jeans then scratched the side of his face. His eyes looked everywhere but at Army. “Just wondering. I gotta find Roughneck. I’ll catch up with you later.”

“You guys heading back to Silverado tonight?”

“Yeah. I think we’re planning to leave soon. I’ll see what Roughneck wants to do.” He finished the beer then walked away.

Army watched his retreating back, surprised when he passed right by Roughneck, and then went over to Crow, Chains, and Eagle. In his gut, he knew something was off and it somehow involved him. The pinging of his phone pulled him away from the scene. He inhaled sharply when a picture of Mia from the waist down popped up on his screen. She had on a tiny G-string and sexy-as-hell purple lace stilettos. As he stared at the scrap of lilac material covering her smooth sex, another ping rang out.

  Mia: What’re u doing?

Army: Staring at the most beautiful pair of legs in heels I’ve ever seen.

Mia: I’m glad u like the pic.

Army: I do. U look good, but just imagine how much better u’d look with my fingers inside ur pussy.

Mia: Mmm … but ur dick would look even nicer. ;)

Army chuckled, and before he could respond, another picture hit his screen—her sexy-as-fuck tits covered in bite marks and hickeys. “Damn, woman,” he muttered under his breath.

Army: Love the artwork. It may be better than ur kickass dragon.

Mia: It’s definitely better. I love looking at your marks.

Army: I see some skin on ur tits. I’ll have to fix that.

  Mia: Don’t make me blush.

Army: I’ll make u blush while riding my face.

  Mia: U make me smile.

Army: That’s why I’m here, baby. To make you smile and smack ur ass once in a while.

  Mia: Hehe.

  Army: Ur all mine.

  Mia: Say it again.

Army: Ur all mine and ur fucking perfect, babe.

Army looked at the screen and waited for her response. Nothing. Then just when he was ready to send her a text, she sent one.

Mia: I’m yours but not perfect. Don’t put me on a pedestal.

Army: How bout if I bend u over on one and fuck you hard?

“Are you heading back to the clubhouse?” Bones asked as Kelly clung to his side.

Army looked up from the phone. “Uh … yeah, but I won’t be there ’til real late. I’m leaving soon to go to Lust. I’ll be there ’til closing.”

  He opened the text.

Mia: R u gonna make me beg for it?

Army: U know it. I wanna make you drip, baby.

“I’ll see you in the morning,” Bones said as he swatted Kelly’s ass. “I’m planning to be real busy later on tonight.” Kelly giggled and snuggled closer to him.

“Yeah, dude. See you.” Army looked down at the phone again.

  Mia: I’m already dripping.

His cock strained against his jeans, throbbing with each of her texts.

Army: Fuck, baby. I wish I was there. I’d take care of u.

Mia: U always do. Miss u sooo bad.

Army: I’ll be there in 2 days.

Mia: It seems like a lifetime. Client’s here. Gotta go. xxooxx

  Army: Talk to u soon.

He pushed his phone into the inner pocket of his cut and adjusted himself; his dick rubbed painfully against the seam as he headed toward his bike.

“Here you go,” Lena said as she put a breakfast burrito and a cup of black coffee in front of Army. “How’ve you been doing? I rarely see you anymore,” the cook said.

“Good. Been busy at the club, and my brother’s working on going pro in MMA, so I’ve been heading to Durango a lot. I know this is gonna taste as good as it looks.” Army picked up the burrito and took a big bite.

Lena smiled then turned away and shuffled back to the kitchen. The first bite was fucking heaven, and he enjoyed the rare silence in the main room as he sipped his coffee and ate. Most of the guys were either at work or snoozing
off a helluva hangover. When he’d come back to the clubhouse after the gentlemen’s club closed, the party was at full throttle. He didn’t even grab a beer; instead, he’d just gone straight to his room and crashed.

After he’d finished breakfast, he brought the dish and mug into the kitchen and opened the dishwasher. Before he could pull out the top rack, Lena rushed over.

“I’ll do that. You shouldn’t have to do it.” She tried to grab the plate from him, but he gently pushed her hand away and put the items inside the appliance.

  “Chill, Lena.”

“You’re always cleaning up after yourself. You shouldn’t be—you’re a man.”

He guffawed. “Tell that to my old man. He had all of us doing chores since we started school. Cleaning the house and dishes were just two of the ones on a long fuckin’ list.”

“What about your mother? She let a boy do all that?”

The gaiety of the moment dissolved. “She did what my dad wanted.” He walked toward the door.

“Thank you for helping, Army,” Lena said, and he waved his hand in the air and left the room.

When he went back into the main room, some of the brothers began to come in. He saw Kelly walking in with Crow.

“Did Bones already leave for Pinewood Springs?” he asked the club girl. She bobbed her head then looked surprised when Crow suddenly shoved her away from him and stalked over to Army.

“Why the hell are you fucking a Piston’s sister?” he gritted, his hazel eyes narrowed and flashing.

Army jerked his head back and took a few steps away from him. “What the fuck are you talking about?”

  “The MMA bitch.”

Anger immediately punched his gut, and he clenched his hands in fists. “Don’t ever call Mia a bitch. I don’t know what the hell’s your problem, but don’t get in my face about my woman or I’ll beat the shit outta you.”

“Your woman?” Crow laughed dryly. “Buzz saw your woman competing in Tucson about a year and a half ago. A group of Satan’s Pistons were there cheering her on. After the fight, she went over and gave that sonofabitch Shark a big hug. Buzz later found out she’s his goddamn sister. So … why the hell are you fucking the enemy?”
