“I love you more for it.” He tells me.
New tears filled my eyes.
“I love you, Kell.” I tell him.
“I know little love.” He informs me.
Pulling him to me, I pressed my lips to his and kissed him with everything inside me. He pulled back, and I fought him on it.
“Marry me, be my queen.” He wasn’t asking. The ring slipped onto my finger, though it was loose. I curled my fingers into my palm, keeping it in place.
“It will fit better soon.” He promises.
“It's perfect.” I tell him.
Epilogue
Five months later…...
Twenty-seven hours of hard labor and one child to show for it.
“Give him to me.” I demand.
I laughed as my husband shook his head. His eyes remained glued to our son.
“Caspian needs to eat.” I tell him.
He sighed as placed him in my arms.
“I can’t wait until those beautiful tits are mine again.” Kell, announced.
Caspian grunted and latched on harder. I laughed at the look of shock on Kell’s, face.
“I think he disagrees.” I tell him through a laugh.
Kell was speechless, and I laughed harder.
“Cockblocked by a newborn.” Kell, grumbled.
Our son grunted again in agreement, and I laughed even harder.
“Language.” I managed to get out. Kell, smiled.
“Yeah, not happening little love.” Kell, says laughing.
“I don’t want his first word to be cock!” I snap at him.
“Language.” It was his turn to reprimand me.
I glared at him. He’s lucky I was in this bed acting like a cow for our son.
“I love you.” Kell, said sweetly.
I looked at him as he leaned in for a kiss. Those three little words still made me melt. It was hard to stay angry when he said them.
“I love you too.” I tell him.
“Can we make another one now?” He asks innocently.
“No!” I shout.
His eyes looked wounded.
“Didn’t mean it like that. Right now, my vagina needs time to fix itself. Someone broke it.” I toned it down a bit.
Kell’s face lit up again, and I smile to myself. Life was perfect. I made good on my promise. I killed the people who took me in. As they burned, I tossed the chain I was forced to wear into the fire.
I watched as their bodies turned crisp and started to turn to ash. It was a beautiful sight. Witnessing hell in all its glory. Blood would still run as Kell killed over and over.
He has been working his way through his family’s business. Each bloody little piece of it.
I had my fairy tale. I was the broken Cinderella, and he was a dark prince. Now, I was his queen, and he was my king.
