Crawling between her legs, I run my hands up her thighs until I’m exactly where I want to be. She smells sweet, the scent calling to my dick like it’s finally found it’s little bit of Heaven. I lean in, blowing warm air over her wetness and she makes a quiet gasp.
Using my tongue, I sweep up her entire center, from core to clit. Her fingers clench into the carpet, looking to grasp whatever she can. I push my fingers into her over and over as I rub my tongue in quick circles on her clit.
It doesn’t take long before she’s panting and squirming under my grip that she eventually comes undone. Her hips thrust powerfully in rhythm with my hand busily fucking her, as she lets loose a low moan, her head turning to the side as her orgasm cascades throughout her delectable body.
Once her chest slows slightly, I pull my hand free and lean back, resting on my knees. I try to catalog every little detail of her that I can. Remembering this perfect moment for later on when I’m alone and thinking of her. I doubt any memory I have will do her the right amount of justice though.
“Wow.”
I grin and shrug, not sure what to say after I witness her coming undone before me. I just want to jump her right now, but it would be the wrong move. I feel myself caring for her more and more. I really don’t want to fuck this up by sleeping with her, then not calling. I know I wouldn’t call if we fucked. I’m an asshole like that. She deserves more, she deserves everything.
“You could take your shorts off.” She smiles and nods to my basketball shorts.
“Sorry, Kiki. Tonight was all about you,” I mumble as I lean over her, holding my weight up off of her in a push-up position.
She sits up slightly, grazing her lips against mine, and I take her for a tender kiss.
“What about you?” she whispers over my mouth afterward.
I shake my head and mutter, “You should have it all, Kiki, and I plan to be the man to give it to you.”
“What exactly is it that I should have, Jace?”
“You deserve the flowers, the smiles, the dates—all of it, Kiki. You’re so amazing—you deserve my heart, and you deserve me.”
She sucks in a breath, peering into my eyes, almost as if she can see into my soul. Like she can see that I mean every last fucking word I’ve spoken. After holding her, spending more time with her, suddenly my thoughts start to tilt.
Things are changing and screaming inside me that none of it will even matter if she’s not beside me to share it. My heart pleads that it needs her, that even though I haven’t known her for long, that I have to keep her…forever.
Chyna doesn’t respond. She just grasps the back of my neck in her small hand, bringing my face to hers so she can kiss me this time. I swear I could kiss her for hours; I’ve never met someone that can make my toes curl just by their tongue touching mine.
Eventually we stop and I stand up, pulling her with me. I collect my things the best I can in one hand as I don’t want to let hers go in my other hand until it’s absolutely necessary.
I pull her to the door and she follows silently, almost as if she’s pouting that I’m leaving, but I have to. I’m not going to screw this up when I’ve only just discovered what I want. Hell, I don’t really know what it is that I want, I just know whatever it is, she’s included in it. I pride myself on remaining focused; I have to seriously think about all of this and come up with a plan. This can all work; I just have to figure out the details.
“Lock the door behind me. The top lock, too,” I chastise. She doesn’t know just how easily it is to break through the flimsy lock on her door handle. I do, because I’ve broken into them when I was younger.
“Okay, okay.” She smiles, kissing me sweetly before I make my way outside her apartment door.
I stand there, waiting until I hear the deadbolt turn. It’s not too much better than the door lock, but at least if it’s kicked, it won’t spring open on the first try and that may deflect anyone bothering her apartment. I want to teach her some basic defensive moves. Too many people do bad shit, and if she’s going to be around me, she needs to be able to protect herself. There are some shady fucks at those fights I participate in.
With that thought I make my way to my Jeep and head to my own place. My cock is still hard as a rock, and I have some mouth-watering images in my head to help me find my release.
CHYNA
As soon as the lock clicks into place I do an excited little bounce thing right next to the door. Holy shit! I can’t believe that just happened! I quickly find my phone and dial Aria.
“Dude! We need to talk and we need lots of wine!” I ramble out as soon as the phone stops ringing.
Gavin clears his throat and chuckles.
“Sorry, Chyna, but Aria’s in the shower. What do you need to talk about?”
“I’m not telling you anything. Jace can tell you what he wants to,” I tease and he makes a mock gasp like he’s offended.
“Oh, that’s right. Tonight was the official date night, right?”
“Yes, and What. A. Date.”
“That’s cool. Aria will just tell me anyhow,” he chortles.
“That trader bitch, tell her she owes me wine and only after a few glasses I may spill the beans.”
“All right, Chy, I’ll tell her. Now go to bed.”
I don’t respond; just hang up. Anytime I call her and he answers her phone he always hangs up on me. It’s like his thing. He’s an ass but a cool one.
My phone chimes with an incoming text almost immediately.
Aria: Smooth
I laugh and close out of the message.
I’m so excited about my date, that I feel like I could burst inside. I had a lot of fun with Jace and he was genuinely sweet. He struck me as a little cocky when I first met him, but really he’s not like that at all.
I can’t believe he went down on me and didn’t let me return the favor. I really wanted to see his amazing body, but hopefully there will be a next time. The way he was talking makes it sound like we will have many more times.
I’ve been let down before though, so it may take a little while to prove to me that he’s really serious. My ex really screwed with my head before, and I can’t help the shadow of doubt that creeps up on me when I attempt to imagine a future relationship.
My phone rings and lights up. Flipping it over I expect it to be Aria again but my father’s name is splashed across the glowing screen.
Fuck. I always forget about the time difference. How am I supposed to talk to someone who basically deserted me? I know I’m a grown woman, but it still freaking hurts inside. He left his only daughter in the states with no family, sending an occasional check in the mail to ease his guilty conscience so he could frolic around with a young new wife.
“Hey, Dad.”
“Chyna! Melissa was just trying on bikinis and I told her we should send you one. What color do you like?”
“Seriously, Dad, you don’t know my favorite color?”
“Oh Chy, those things change weekly with you. Growing up, you had a different new color all the time.”
“Orange, Dad. I like orange.” I can’t believe he called me to talk to me about his wife trying on bathing suits for Christ’s sake.
“All right, baby. I’ll have them pack one up for you and send it.”
“Sounds great. How’s grandma?”
“She’s good, busy giving the cabana boys grief.”
“Hmm, it must run in the family,” I mutter.
“What’s that sweet pea?”
“Nothing, Dad. Have fun shopping.”
“You too, baby. Talk to you soon.”
“Yep.”
“Love you.”
“You too, Dad,” I mumble and hang up. What a way to dampen my excitement from the night I had with Jace.
two days later…
“It’s my favorite place now; you have to go with me sometime.” I finish telling Aria all about the dessert bar. It was so good, I can’t wait to go back.
I’m camp
ed out on my living room floor in sweat pants while she watches me from the couch with a big smile on her face. I only have one couch, so if she comes over I usually sit across from her on the floor. I have fluffy carpet though so I don’t mind, and it’s actually pretty comfortable. I like lying on the floor with a bunch of pillows to watch movies, too.
“We can definitely go. I want to see this chocolate basket thing you keep talking about.”
“Oh my God, it’s very good. So where’s Gavin anyhow? I was kind of expecting him to tag along with you actually. It’s nice getting you alone for a little while.”
She blushes, when I talk about her being alone. If Gavin isn’t training or fighting they’re glued at the hip these days.
“Yeah, he went to spar with Jace. Gav said he’s been training nonstop since your date. Guess you did a little number on the guy if he won’t leave the gym but to sleep.” She giggles and I smile large like the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland.
I couldn’t stop the smile no matter how hard I try, because Jace made an everlasting impression on me before he left. In fact, I’ve replayed that scene in my head many times over the past two days. If he’s been at the gym constantly then that would explain why I haven’t heard from him.
“I’m supposed to pick up Gavin soon so we can go have lunch, do you want to come?”
“No, thanks. I don’t want to be the third wheel with you two.”
“Oh, you won’t be.” She shrugs, smirking. “Jace is going, too.”
“I want to go then! Let me change really quickly.”
I jump up and throw on the first pair of jeans I find and run a brush through my hair. I leave my Game of Thrones T-shirt on; it should be okay for lunch. Plus, if Jace wants to see more of me he needs to discover right away that I’m a little bit of a closet nerd.
I arrive back in my living room with most likely the fastest change I’ve ever done. I probably just set a record or something.
We load up in Aria’s car where I switch her radio station from that crap country she calls music to my rock station. She’s used to me doing it so she just ignores me and drives as I sing along to Aerosmith’s ‘Rag Doll.’
The guys are standing outside the gym on the sidewalk, and when we approach the curb, Jace glances quickly at the car. He notices me sitting in the passenger seat and does a double take, a pleased smile touching his lips.
My stomach hums with butterflies when I see his eyes light up, just as excited as mine.
“Looks like he’s happy to see you. Those baby blues are sparkling more than usual,” she teases.
“I hope so. God, he’s freaking gorgeous.”
“I have to agree, but I think my Gav is hotter.”
“We will just have to agree to disagree on that one,” I smirk and she laughs.
Gavin is very good-looking, but when I see Jace, it’s like he steals my breath right from my lungs. Then when he talks, his deep voice vibrates over me, coating my skin in feel-good tingles.
The car comes to a stop and he immediately opens my door, I know my cheeks have to be a little red, surprising him like this. At least he seems happy about it. I could have shown up, him not happy about it and then things would have been really awkward.
“Well, when Gavin asked if I wanted lunch, I didn’t know I’d get you, too,” he grins.
“Oh, I’m dessert, he didn’t tell you? I thought you knew I was a treat?” Flirting boldly, I have to laugh at my own cheesy comeback line.
“Ugh, get out before I puke in my mouth,” Aria complains and I chuckle. Jace holds my hand, helping me get out of the car.
Gavin sits in my place. “We’ll meet you there?” he asks and Jace agrees.
Pulling my hand, he grabs his gym bag with the other as we go to his Jeep.
“Where have you been, stranger?” I glance at him, trying not to sound too nosey.
“I had to cut weight yesterday. I knew I was really close but with all the junk we ate the other day, I had to sit in the sauna damn near all day yesterday.”
“What do you mean, cut weight?”
“Well, I have to be a certain weight to fight. When we ate out, my body registered a few extra pounds. I had to weigh-in today for the fight, so yesterday I had to do everything I could to drop some pounds in order to be where I wanted to be today.”
“Oh okay. I thought you guys were just naturally that weight so that’s what you chose to fight at.”
“No, I’m usually about fifteen pounds heavier. You fight at a weight lower, and then once you weigh in, you can gain some pounds back. Now’s the fun part where I get to eat a bunch of foods I’ve been missing out on.”
“When’s your fight?” I run my gaze over his freshly showered body. The Jeep smells of his body wash and spray. It’s like I’m in smell-good Heaven right now.
“Tomorrow.”
“What?” My eyes grow wide, and I try to not gape. My heart rate just went up like two notches. “I thought you didn’t fight until next week! And you’re this calm? How can you be relaxed and hungry when you’ll be in that cage tomorrow?”
He chuckles, paying attention to the road as he drives. “Kiki, relax. I’ll be okay. A few fighters dropped out of the fights tomorrow, so they rescheduled me to fight sooner than I expected. I actually enjoy being in that cage and feel at home when I’m in there. This sort of thing happens frequently with fights.. I’m not flipping out because I’ve been doing this a long time.”
“How long exactly?”
He glances at me; his brow furrowed a little. “What, fighting?”
“Yes, how long have you been a fighter?”
He takes a deep breath. “My whole life, Kiki,” he shakes his head slightly and repeats, “My whole life.”
We grow quiet, both stuck in our own thoughts as he drives us to the restaurant. My nerves are a little on edge, thinking about his fight tomorrow and the possibility of him getting injured. Jace is a good fighter; no, he’s a great fighter. I’ve seen it myself, but I can’t help to worry. I care about him, and I don’t want to see someone do to him as I’ve seen him do to others.
I keep my thoughts to myself, not wanting to dampen his spirits. He’s confident, so I need to be confident in him as well. This is a huge part of Jace. And like I want him to embrace my nerdy side, I’m going to have to embrace this side of him. It is after all, the side that first drew me to him.
He parks and comes around to my door. As I climb down, he takes my hand into his large one. I can’t help but remember how they felt the other night as they had glided up my inner thighs. The roughness from callouses and scars from his fighting and training, had made me squirm with the sensations of being in the presence of an alpha.
Once seated at the booth across from Aria and Gavin, the guys begin talking fight strategy. Aria sits in front of me grinning; she knows how happy I am to be next to Jace. I just got done telling her at my apartment that I think he’s amazing.
“What are you having, Chy?” He leans over, brushing his arm against mine after he and Gavin finish with their plan of action. The mint from his breath tickles my lips, and I lick them in response. His eyes dilate as they watch my tongue caress the part his breath had just touched. It’s almost like a conditioned response the way my mouth waters, imagining him kissing me again.
I don’t get to finish my thought as his mouth crashes down on mine, his hand grasping the back of my neck, holding me in place as he takes my lips like a man deprived.
My tongue tangles with his, my hands immediately moving to hold his face in response to such a powerful kiss.
I don’t think I even breathe.
I lose myself, my thoughts, and a piece of my heart all in that one kiss. If there could be a point in my life when I could stop time and just live there, this would be that time. The feelings, the emotions…the passion, is enough to encompass my being and make me feel whole for once.
He draws away slowly as if he, too, is living in that tender moment we just shared in front
of our close friends. But they’re far from my mind as my clouded expression starts to clear and my eyes meet his icy blues, clearly full of their own wonderment and questions.
“You two going to order?” Our spell is broken by Gavin’s voice. Blinking, I turn away to see the server standing at our table with a bemused expression.
“Hi. I’ll have a glass of water and an order of your boneless wings. Oh, and ranch please.”
She nods and glances at Jace.
“I’ll have a top sirloin, medium-well, fries, and a side salad with just a few lemons for the dressing.”
“Lemons for dressing?” I mumble and he grins.
“Yeah, just use lemon juice on the veggies, its way better for you that way.”
“Gross.” I turn to the server again, “Make that extra ranch with mine.” She chuckles, agreeing and leaves to get our drinks.
We have a nice lunch and Jace offered to bring me home so Aria didn’t have to go out of her way.
We’re walking through the parking lot to the Jeep when Jace stops suddenly staring at the back of a guy with long dark hair wearing plain jeans and a white shirt.
“Everything okay?”
He turns to me, looking a little uneasy. “Yes, I’m fine, just thought I saw someone I know. All good though, let’s get going.”
***
I was secretly hoping he would bring me. I love Aria but I’m hoping to get more Jace time, alone.
“Come in and stay awhile?” I ask with a mischievous smirk when he parks close to my building.
“Sorry Kiki, I can’t. I have to get ready for tomorrow. You’re coming to watch me, right?”
“I would, but I didn’t get tickets. I thought the fight was next week so I didn’t get any. I guess I can just get the general admission. I’m sort of spoiled with the VIP section though.”
“I’ll get you tickets, don’t worry. Just stick with Gavin and Aria okay?”
“They usually meet me there and one of us will save seats for the other.”
“Can you meet them outside and come in with them or ride with Aria?”
