“Sure, sure,” Rowan agreed. “We don’t want to let the head of Viking Adventures down.”
“Go to the gear stand at the edge of the dock and get a life jacket and helmet,” Rufus instructed her. “The team is gathering by the Viking Adventures tent in twenty minutes.”
With that, Vana and Rufus were gone.
“How exciting,” Rowan gushed. “Geez, Autumn, you have all the luck.”
“Yeah,” Autumn said, dryly. “All the luck.”
After helping with a few more customers, Autumn whistled for Mochi. “I guess I’d better get going. I’ll try not to fall in.”
“Good luck," Rowan responded.
Autumn figured she would need it.

FESTIVE PUMPKIN SMOOTHIE
3 frozen bananas
1 cup almond or coconut milk
2/3 cup pure pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
Blend together until smooth. Makes one large serving.
