“I have to go,” she said.

“You going to write me again?” he asked.

  “Yes,” she said.

“Okay,” he said. “Get your ass to writing then. The dick cookie was really good by the way.”

“You ate it?” she asked in surprise.

“Of course I did,” he answered. “I broke that shit up first though.”

  “Goodbye, Gavin,” she said.

“Try not to dream about me,” he said with a laugh. “Me and my giant.”

He didn't even finish his sentence before the phone went quit. When he walked back in, Jack was glaring at him.

“You will not be showing my sister any part of that,” he said, as pointed to Gavin's pants.

“I was just paying her back,” Gavin replied. “I'm thinking she's learned her lesson.”

“I thought you knew her,” was Jack's response.

  Chapter 8

  Gracie

The six months after Christmas flew by. Gracie wrote back each time Gavin sent her a letter. She even sent him one other box. That one was much more innocent. She wasn't done, not at all. She was just waiting for the perfect moment to get him. One where she could see his face. Ethan was still sending her messages about once a week, and she was answering them when she had time. She was working a lot and had just helped her dad open another restaurant.

It was time for the yearly trip to Hawaii and Gracie wasn't happy that Jack wasn't going to be there. She was happy to see Ethan and hurried to hug him and thank him for checking on her. Her dad overheard their conversation and gave Ethan a dirty look.

“I'm just checking on her. Half the time she takes more than a day to even answer me back,” Ethan said.

“I've been really busy with work,” she said in her own defense.

“I heard you opened another restaurant. Congrats on that. You two are unstoppable.”

“That we are,” her dad said, as he pulled Gracie in for a hug. “I couldn't do it without her. She works harder than anyone I know.”

Jessie asked about Jack and Gavin the first day but seemed off the rest of the week. Things just weren't the same at all. Even Jason and Jordan had both made it. There were only two people missing and it threw everything off. Gracie was used to seeing both of the guys on the beach trying to get girls to talk to them. They were both comedians when they were together. Gavin would have been doing goofy stuff the entire week, and Jack would have been right there with him. Nothing felt the same.

Gracie looked around the table that last dinner, and it hit her. She hadn't spent the week chasing after Ethan at all. Instead, she spent the whole time missing Gavin and Jack. It wasn't just that either. She realized that Gavin was the one she was missing most. How could that be, she wondered? He'd sent her flowers with tiny penises through them and a giant penis balloon. He'd given her crap in every single letter. How could she be thinking about him instead of the guy she'd had a crush on her entire life?

She sat on her bed that night and couldn't stop thinking about him. When she couldn't fall asleep, she grabbed some paper and started writing. He hadn't written back yet, but she had to write to him.

  Gavin,

We're leaving to go home in the morning. Hawaii wasn't the same without you two. It was a year ago that you stood up and changed my life. I know you two love what you do, but I miss your asses. You read that right. I know you're going to give me shit too. I don't care. It wasn't the same without you two acting up. It was your turn to write, but I had to send you something from Hawaii. Jessie seemed off all week too. I think she misses you. That sounds crazy, I know it does. See what you did. We're all acting weird. Can you believe that one? You two have to make it next year. If you don't, I'll kick your ass. Be here!!!!

Your very tired and annoyed pen pal,

  Gracie

She got out of bed, grabbed a cup, went outside, scooped up some sand, and poured it into the envelope. Then she sealed it and headed to bed. She couldn't believe how quickly she fell asleep after coming back in. On the way to the airport, she mailed the letter with a smile on her face.

“What's all that about?” Ethan asked.

“Nothing,” she answered. “Just sending a letter to a friend.”

She couldn't wait to hear back from Gavin after that one.

  Chapter 9

  Gavin

The yearly Hawaiian vacation came and went. Gavin missed going. He loved being on the beach and out in the water. He was glad Jack was with him but could tell he was missing it too. They'd gone out for a night with the guys, and they both had fun. There was just something about missing that week though. He never thought he would feel that way. There were always so many people, and it was always so loud. It was also something he'd grown so used to.

He came in from work and saw a letter on his bed. It was his turn to write Gracie. He'd sent her letter out the night before knowing she wouldn't have gotten in while she was gone anyway. Who sent it, he wondered? Jack had gotten letters here and there but hadn't said who they were from, and Gavin had never asked. Jack would read them and put them away quickly. There was nothing on Jack's bed that day.

When Gavin picked the letter up and saw it was from her, he was surprised. It was sent from Hawaii. He couldn't believe it. There was definitely something being said about that. He opened the letter just as Jack was walking up. When he pulled the paper out, sand flew all over his bed.

“Shit!” he yelled out, as he jumped up and held the paper and envelope over the floor.

  Jack burst into laughter.

“I guess I don't need to ask who that's from. She sent you sand from the beach,” Jack said with a laugh.

“Very funny,” Gavin said. “I'm going to be finding that shit for weeks.”

He cleaned up the sand as much as he could and finally sat down to read her letter. Before he was done, he knew there was a smile on his face.

“What did she have to say?” Jack asked.

“If she wanted you to know, she would have written you.”

  “Smart ass,” Jack snapped.

“She said it wasn't the same without us. We better be there next year. She said even Jessie was off this week. You know my sister doesn't give a crap about me.”

“I'll be back,” Jack said, as he got up and walked out the door.

  Gavin grabbed some paper.

  Gracie,

Seriously! I'm going to be finding that shit in my ass crack when I wake up for days. It was everywhere. Your brother saw me open it. He thought it was hilarious. I did not. It was my turn to write. You know what that means? It means you wrote because you wanted to. I can't believe it. I marked it in my calendar. Was your husband, the great doctor, there? Didn't he spend all of his time with you? He's so cute and muscular and all. I bet you sat staring at him all week. You missed me though. I'm framing this and hanging it above my bed for everyone to see. Thanks for the sand. You are something else.

  Your very sandy-in-the-ass-crack pen pal,

  Gavin

  Chapter 10

  Gracie

Another six months had gone by, and Gracie was preparing a huge Christmas dinner for all of the families. Her dad was right there working hard with her. Looking around, she couldn't help the sad feeling surrounding her. They weren't coming. Neither of them would be home. How could that be, she wondered? She missed them both so much. They should have tried harder to get home. Everything was so different with them gone.

Gracie had been emailing Ethan quick responses, and his messages were coming less and less. She wasn't excited to check her email anymore. Instead, she was checking her mail every day as soon as she got home. If there was a letter, she was ripping it open before she even had her coat off. She'd sit writing back while she ate. The letters she wrote were getting longer and longer. Gavin's responses were too. They would have the same sarcastic stuff in them, but they also had so much more. He'd write about the service and what it was like. She'd write about the families and work. They were filled with everyd
ay stuff, but they made her so happy.

She'd packed them each a huge box and mailed them out a little early. Jack had called to let her know they had gotten them. He thanked her for both of them. She knew she'd get a letter from Gavin a few days after Jack's call. At least they had snacks and some stuff they could use. It was better than nothing but not nearly as good as being home.

Gracie had just put Jack and Gavin's favorite cheesecake in the fridge, when her dad walked over and pulled her in for a huge hug. They wouldn't be there, but she had to make it.

“We all miss them,” he whispered, as he kissed the top of her head.

  “I know,” she said.

They heard the front door open and laughter coming through all the way to the kitchen. Gracie knew that before long the entire house would be filled with chatter. It was going to be a long day, but she loved every single one of them. She looked around the kitchen at all of the food and felt so good. There was something amazing about feeding everyone, knowing they'd leave satisfied and full. It was totally worth all of the hard work she put in every single day at work and for their huge family events. When the kitchen door opened and Ethan walked through and hugged her, she couldn't help but want it to be them.

  “We're all here,” Ethan said.

“I know,” she said. “Thank you.”

“Get out here and visit for a bit,” he said.

“I will as soon as I know everything is ready and everyone is stuffed to the limit,” she answered.

When he walked back through the kitchen door, she got right back to work. Cooking was her passion. It made her happy and kept her busy.

Once everyone had a full plate and was sitting around the tables, she let out a long breath and made a plate for herself. She sat down between the two empty chairs and felt a tug at her heart. Everyone was talking and laughing, and all she could think about was Jack and Gavin. How could they all be laughing, she thought? Didn't they miss them too? She put her fork down, giving up on the thought of eating, when she heard the front door open. Everyone was already there. She saw her dad look up at her and then at the door.

It only took a second and she was up from her chair and around the corner. The moment her eyes landed on them, she had tears streaming down her face. Jessie was right behind her. Gracie hugged her brother quickly before pushing Jessie away from Gavin and hugging him tighter than she'd ever hugged anyone in her life. Jessie moved to Jack to hug him. Then everyone else was there. Gracie felt Gavin squeeze her tight before Becky pulled her back so she could get to her son. His eyes locked with Gracie's and her tears fell harder.

She turned and took off for the other room. When she came back out, she had two full plates in her hands. That was when she saw him, really saw him. Everyone else was sitting down. It was just him and Jack still standing. She couldn't help but notice just how much he'd changed. He was a man, all man. She could see the muscles in his chest and his arms.

“Is that for us?” Jack asked, pulling her from her thoughts of Gavin.

“Oh, yeah,” she said. “I'm just super excited to see you. Sit down.”

She put the plates down on each side of her.

  “Let me move,” she said.

“No,” Gavin said. “Sit down and eat. You work too damn hard to let your food get cold. Besides, I can make your boy jealous.”

“Not me,” Ethan said from down the table. “I can't even get her to message me back anymore. I think I've lost her to another man, I just can't figure out who. She won't fess up to dating anyone.”

“I'm not,” Gracie said. “I've just been super busy.”

“Writing me,” Gavin whispered next to her ear. “Do I get more letters than your husband?”

“He is not my husband,” she whispered back.

“How have you been Gavin?” Gracie's mom asked.

“I've been pretty good,” he answered. “The letters and stuff keep me going.”

“Who's writing you letters?” Becky asked.

“Just a friend,” he said with a shrug. “Please tell me there is cheesecake.”

“You're in luck,” Gracie's dad said. “She made it even though you two weren't going to be here.”

Gracie knew the smile she had the moment she saw them was going to stay on her face all day.

“I'll be back,” she said, as she stood up.

She took off up the stairs and hurried into the bathroom and shut the door. With a smile, she looked in the mirror.

“Damn does he look good,” she whispered.

After a few deep breaths, she opened the door and ran right into a very hard chest. When she looked up and their eyes connected, he pushed her into the bathroom and closed the door.

  “Thank you,” he said.

  “For what?” she asked.

“Dinner, the cheesecake, the letters, and saying I look good,” he said.

  “I never said that.”

“Sure did,” he said. “You don't look so bad yourself.”

“Gavin,” she said. “Get out of here.”

He stepped forward a few more steps until her back was against the wall. His body pushed against hers. He wrapped his hand around the back of her neck and covered her mouth with his. Gavin took her bottom lip between his teeth and pulled down. His tongue slid into her mouth and tangled with hers. She moaned into his mouth, and he pulled back. She sucked in a long breath and looked into his eyes again. Gavin grabbed her hand, brought it down, and wrapped it around his hard cock from over his pants. He leaned down next to her ear and whispered.

“Does that feel tiny to you?”

She gasped, and he laughed. Then he let go of her and took a step back.

  “You like me,” he said.

  “No I don't,” she said.

“You're not messaging your boy anymore,” he said with a smile. “That's a win for me. I look forward to every letter and every smart ass thing you're going to say. I still feel like I'm picking sand out of my ass crack. Just remember what you felt. There is nothing little about it.”

Gavin turned around, opened the door, walked out of the bathroom, and headed down the hall leaving her completely alone. She turned to the mirror, held her fingers over her lips, and felt the weirdest feeling in her chest.

“We need dessert,” Jack yelled up the stairs. “Did you get lost in there?”

“I'm coming,” she yelled back, as he hurried down the hall toward the stairs.

Gracie walked out of the kitchen with two huge pieces of cheesecake and handed them to the guys.

“Did you leave any of that for the rest of us?” Ethan asked. “I'm never home either.”

“Yes,” she answered in a snotty tone.

A few minutes later, she walked out with a tray full of little pieces on plates.

“Seriously,” Ethan said, as he held the plate in his hand.

“Maybe your not as important anymore,” Gavin said, as he put a huge forkful into his mouth.

Then he let out a loud moan.

“This is so good,” he said. “I'm going to have to do double time in the gym after this.”

“I can't believe how built the two of you are,” Big Gavin said.

“Thanks,” Jack replied. “We've been working our asses off.”

  “Language,” Gracie's mom snapped.

  “Sorry,” he said.

“You got all the ladies chasing after you?” Ethan asked.

Both Gavin and Jack laughed, and Gracie couldn't help the sad feeling she got but quickly tried to shake it off.

“I was told before I left that I had to do something,” Gavin said. “I was weak or wimpy or not big enough.”

Gracie walked over and poked her finger in his chest.

“You still have a lot of work to do if you ask me,” she said. “You're not nearly big enough.”

She made sure to stretch the word big out way longer than she should have. When Gavin narrowed his eyes at her, she couldn't help the shiver that ran through her body. He was instantly on his
feet. Then he leaned down, grabbed her ankles in one hand, her upper body in the other, and lifted her over his head.

“Let me down right now,” she squealed.

  “Not big enough,” he said.

Gracie let herself think for just a second about the other things he could do with his hands on her.

“Now,” she snapped. “If you don't let me down...”

“What are you going to do?” he asked.

“You drive me crazy,” she yelped.

He put her down gently on her feet, and she took off for the kitchen. When he walked in, she was busy cleaning up. He walked up behind her and whispered in her ear.

“You still haven't learned that there is nothing little about me, have you?”

She made a grunt noise and pretended like he wasn't there. He scooted in even closer until his cock was pushing against her backside.

“If you weren't my best friend's little sister,” he whispered with his lips on her ear. “I'd take you right now against this counter, and you'd know just how big and hard I was. Stop playing with me, Gracie.”

He took a step back, turned, and then he was gone. She was left with her heart beating a million miles an hour, wondering just how big and hard and great he'd feel buried so damn deep inside of her.

  “Shit,” she whispered to herself.

She didn't like Gavin, not like that. It was Ethan she'd been into ever since she could remember. He was going to be a doctor. He was safe. He wasn't the one that took her brother away.

  Chapter 11

  Gavin

Gavin knew he needed to tell his family something important, but there was no way he was going to ruin Christmas dinner. He looked over at Jack and knew that his friend felt the same way.

When Gavin's eyes connected with Gracie's, he felt something, but he knew it was just from being away for so long. There was nothing there. Her heart was with Ethan, he was sure of it. When Ethan mentioned that Gracie wasn't answering his messages, Gavin felt the tiniest bit of hope. He knew better, she was Jack's little sister. There was no way anything would or could ever happen between them.
