I’m nodding wildly with affirmation, but can’t seem to form the words he wants to hear. This man. My world. He knows how I sometimes struggle with the permanence of a lifelong Dom/sub relationship. He picked out something beautifully subtle that I can wear all the time without feeling self-conscious.
Finally, the answer comes to me.
“Sir, you already own my heart and soul. I now give you permission to own my submission, forever.” With that, he touches his lips softly to mine, at first, then more hungrily. Malakai breaks the kiss to stand up, holding his hand out to help me up from my kneeling position. Like he did that first night he carries me upstairs to possess me. This time, though, he has every piece.
Acknowledgments
First and foremost, I have to thank the incomparable CD Reiss. Without the wonderfully seductive world of everything Drazen, I never would have gotten the courage to write. Period. I never saw myself authoring anything, but when she announced the Drazen Kindle Worlds opportunity, I knew I had to tell Carrie’s story. She is one of those barely touched on characters whom I felt deserved more. So, thank you, Christine. You breed inspiration.
Mia Francis-Poulin. You brought me into this book world. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Networking. Blogging. You are my book bff, my editor. I’d be nothing without your expertise. I heart you so much!
All of my fellow Drazen World cohorts, you have offered me so much advice and assistance along the way. I can’t thank you enough.
Vanessa Fewings, you have been another source of support and inspiration for me, constantly providing encouraging words and ensuring me that I have limitless potential! :)
To my beta readers: Chele’, Maureen and Amy, your feedback was paramount in making this story great! Thank you for accepting my invite to read early!
To anyone who dares to read, promote, and enjoy, thank you! I hope you enjoyed Carrie’s story, as this is my first venture into writing.
Lastly, to my family. Thank you for always supporting and encouraging me.
