the phone, was that something has come up and we all need to talk about the mating ceremony.

I take a deep breath in before heading into the living room, destroying her dreams of our

mating. Kelly’s standing near the fireplace with her arms wrapped around her; she looks up at me

giving a nervous smile, her eyes shift from looking directly at me to the floor. I make slowly my way to the couch, sitting down, putting my hand out motioning her to sit beside me. She shifts from side to side biting her lip before she makes her way over to the couch, taking a seat beside me.

“What’s wrong, Caleb?” her voice sounding anxiousness, she running her hands together on

her lap. I want to comfort her by putting my hand on top of hers, but I can’t. I can’t touch her like that now; my wolf is bothered by the fact that we’ve been intimate with her, knowing our mate

could be indignant, isn’t sitting well with him.

“I don’t know how to break this to you gently. So, I’m just going to come out and say it. I’ve

found my true mate,” her eyes widen as she stares at me, but then a small unexpected smile plays

  across her lips.

“That’s great; you’ve found your true mate, Caleb. I know that it’s hard for you to be in this

position right now. I don’t want you to worry about me. I’m a big girl. I’m truly happy for you.” She mentions she gets up from the couch; she has tears running down her cheeks. God, it kills me to see

her like this; before we got together we were close friends for years. Fate has a funny way of

popping out at the most bizarre times.

“I truly am sorry about this. I know it’s so close to the ceremony, and you were so happy

about being mated.” I’m defeated when I look into her eyes; the happiness that was once there is

dimming. She shakes her head repeatedly.

“I knew there was a chance we could both find our true mates, Caleb. We both knew that.

It’s better that it happened now before we got mated, then after.” She walks toward the front door; I get up from the couch to follow her, to tell her I’m sorry once more on something I can’t control, she waves me off.

“I’ll be fine, Caleb. I just need some time alone right now. My wolf understands completely

but I’ve always loved you, first, it was friendship then it bloomed into something more over the

years. Hopefully down the road, we can become friends again.” With that being said she turns and

leaves me standing there, my heart hurting for an old lover, a friend.

I close the front door; the tears that were filling my eyes in the house begin to fall. I can’t

help but feel upset with the fact, he found his mate. I’m envious that he has found his true mate. Of course, I love Caleb, but I would have done the same thing if I found my true mate. He would make

my heart beat ten times faster when I see him; my wolf would be content all the time. I need to get

out of here, I need to run. I just hope that his mate doesn’t hate me; she will be the alpha female

when his father steps down and she can make my life a living hell.

I run to my car as fast as I can, turning it over, I back up and peel out of their driveway and

head home. My wolf reassuring me that our mate is out there and he’ll find us. I pray she’s right. I don’t like this feeling of being with someone knowing they aren’t you true mate and then bam one

day they find her. I can’t do this again. I would rather be alone than feel what I’m feeling right now.

  Chapter 6

I just got home from Ryan’s, he mentioned he could of drove me home but I felt like walking

he insisted that he’ll walk me home, but I just wanted to be alone to be lost in my thoughts. I can’t believe that a vampire’s my mate. Walking up the front steps, I try to open the front door but it’s

locked, grabbing my key out of my bag, I unlock the door, walking into the house, it’s dark. My

parents must be out. I close the front door, walking towards upstairs up to my room, grabbing my

PJ’s from my dresser; I make my way to the bathroom, I need a shower badly.

After my shower, I stand in front of the mirror, staring at myself, how did I get here? My

thoughts go right to Ryan, poor Ryan, he’s going to be upset knowing that I’ve found my true mate,

and on top of that he’s a vampire. I don’t think any wolf would be able to take that news lightly.

There’s not much I can do about Samuel, being my mate, I’m drawn to him already, I know deep

down he’s my mate, my wolf accepted him as soon as she scented him. I shake my head to clear my

thoughts, turning off the light in the bathroom, I head to my room.

I flick the light on and get dressed, I head downstairs to get a drink, just as I grab a bottle of

water from the fridge, there’s a knock at the front door. Who can that be? I place the water bottle on the counter; I make my way towards the front door to see who it can be. I twist the handle and

open the door; his scent hits me before anything else, Samuel.

My eyes widen as I take in his appearance, he’s breathtaking, with his dark hair and dark

eyes luring me in as I stare openly at him, shaking myself out of the pull towards him.

“What are you doing here?” I ask poking my head outside to see if anyone can see that he’s

  here.

“Did anyone see you coming here?” I hope no one saw because it’ll only be a matter of time

before the alpha and the pack to get here if they knew.

“I told you, I would come to you, and don’t worry no one has seen me, my little gem,” he

  says.

“I’ve been waiting for you for centuries’ my little wolf. There’s nothing in this world that will

stop me from being with you.” Just hearing he say that, makes my wolf yip happily inside. I move out

  R a v i s h i n g E l i z a b e t h ‘ W h i t e T i m b e r P a c k ’

of the doorway making room for him to enter, he stops and gives me a crooked grin as he holds onto

the door frame. I look at him puzzled and he chuckles.

“You need to invite me in.”

Well, I wasn’t expecting that guess something’s are true about vampires.

“Come in, Samuel,” my voice husky, I stare at him crossing the threshold. As soon as his feet

step inside the house, he’s in front of me gazing down at me like I’m his last cool drink of water, well in this case blood. He moves so fast I didn’t even get a chance to react.

He places his hand under my chin, slowly lifting my head up, he leans down and kisses me

softly at first but then he applies more pressure. I moan into the kiss, his tongue probed into my

mouth, my tongue tangling with his, I run my tongue down his fang, and he groans out shifting

himself against me. I feel his erection through his pants, gasping as he grinds himself into me, he

runs and slams the front door shut, and then comes back to me lifting me up off of my feet, my legs

wrap around his hips, he races up the stairs quickly.

“Where’s your room?” he asks stopping at the top of the stairs looking at all the doors that

line the walls, just as I’m about to tell him ,the front door opens and I hear the voices of my parents.

My eyes widen, Oh no! I point down the hallway and he walks down the hallway, it’s almost like we’re floating on air.

Once were in my room, Samuel marches quickly to the window, opening it ready to jump

out of my bedroom. I don’t want him to leave yet.

  “No, please don’t go
. You’re my mate, you shouldn’t have to hide from my parents,” I hope

he stays; I don’t want us to hide that we’re mates. My parents will learn to come to terms that my

mate’s a vampire, he’s fated to be mine.

A few minutes later my parents burst into my room, my mother jumping in front of my

father while growling at Samuel, he tenses beside me; my mother looks like she’s ready to pounce

on him. I jump in front of Samuel, letting out a loud growl of my own, my mother freezes and her

eyes widen, she straightens her stance and stares at me.

“What, how?” my mother whispers, looking between the both of us.

“How can this be?” she keeps muttering to herself, she starts to pace in front of us, while

my father stands there like a statue.

I’m about to open my mouth to tell my mother that Samuel’s my mate, when I hear a

defining growl from the hallway, the growl sending shivers through my body, my wolf whimpers.

Samuel holds me closely to him. A man appears at the door of my room, staring at me with longing

on his face. It’s like he notices Samuel behind me holding me, he growls as he marches into my

  R a v i s h i n g E l i z a b e t h ‘ W h i t e T i m b e r P a c k ’

room. He moves towards me, and Samuel jumps in front of me hissing at the unknown man. The

man’s eyes widen as he looks from Samuel to me.

“You’re both mates?” the unknown man asks his voice sounding like velvet.

My wolf nips at me, edging me to move forward. I take a deep breath and the man’s scent

wafts up my nose, my eyes widen and I gasp, looking at everyone in my room. I look behind me at

Samuel, my eyes tearing up. How can fate do this? Will it hurt Samuel knowing that I have not just

him as my mate but this wolf standing in front of me is mine as well? My head whips around to look

at the man again, and I move closer to him, he’s standing still as I touch his arm. The shock runs up my arm and down my body, I gasp stepping back.

“Mate,” my voice sounding so small, staring at the man than to Samuel, I feel myself getting

  lightheaded and everything goes black.

Once she opened the door, I was memorized but her. God, in the darkness of the forest she

was beautiful but seeing her in the light, she’s incredible. When her eyes widen as she takes me in, I guess it’s safe to say she wasn’t expecting me to be at her front door. I knew her parents weren’t

home; I would’ve been able to scent them. As soon as her mouth opens, and she asked me ‘what I

was doing here’ her sweet voice hitting my ears, almost like a siren’s song, it took everything in me not to jump on her right there.

When she finally asks me to enter her home, I couldn’t get to her fast enough. I’ve been

waiting for her for quite some time, she’s my other half. I lift her chin up, placing a sweet kiss to her lips and I’m done for. The sweet taste of her, the moan she releases causes my erection to thicken

and press against my pants zipper. As soon as her tongue runs down my fang, I’ve lost all sense of

restraint I had, I pick her up off of her feet, her legs wrap around my hips and run upstairs, just

stopping for a split second to find out where her room is.

The front door opens and what I’m assuming is her parents getting home, her eyes widen

and she points down the hall. Once were in her room, I run to the window but her voice stops me.

“No, please don’t go. You’re my mate; you shouldn’t have to hide from my parents,” how

can I leave after that? She wants me to stay to face her parents; my heart warms at the fact she’s

  not ashamed of me.

Her parents burst into the room, as soon as her mother sees me beside Elizabeth she growls

angrily at me. Her mother seems like she’s ready to jump on me and rip my head off for being beside

her daughter. Elizabeth jumps in front of me and releases a deadly growl at her mother. Her mother

freezes, muttering to herself, ‘what’ ‘how’? I don’t want Elizabeth to end up fighting with her

mother, I need to do something, say something. As soon as I’m about to open my mouth, there’s a

loud defying growl from the hallway, and a second later a man is standing there staring at Elizabeth with a face of pure longing as if he has found what he has been looking for. What the…

The man enters the room, and Elizabeth like she’s on autopilot slowly walks towards him,

he’s a few feet away from us, once she’s in front of him, she touches his arm jumping back slightly, gasping one-word ‘mate’, she stares at both of us.

Is it possible for her to have two mates? She starts to sway a little and she starts to fall,

moving fast, the man reach’s out and grabs her just before she could hit the floor. “What are you

doing here, Vampire?” his voice booms through the room. I stand straight and stare him in the eyes.

“I’m her mate,” as soon as the words leave my mouth, his eyes widen in surprise. He looks

down at Elizabeth then back up to me.

  “She’s my mate, too.”

Well, I guess that solves that, she has two mates. He brings her to the bed, placing her down

  on top of her sheets.

“My name is Samuel Myers,” I say, putting my hand out to him, he grabs me hand shaking it.

“Caleb Jackson,” he nods loosely as he lets go of my hand and stares down at our mate.

This was a lot for her to take in, finding out she has two mates. I just hope she wakes up

soon and she’s fine with having both of us. I don’t know what I would do if she chooses to be with

Caleb instead of me, I would be destined to be alone for eternity because she’s the only one my

  heart will let in.

  Chapter 7

What the hell just happened? She was standing there a second ago staring wide-eyed at

Samuel and me, then puff she’s down like a light, looking down at her sleeping, she’s truly amazing.

Her toned skin and her long wavy brown hair, she’s remarkable. My wolf nipped at me when I set my

eyes on her, he wanted nothing more for me to claim her right then and there, but we couldn’t do

that. I need to wait for the mating ceremony, she could wear my marks but it would only be

temporary, we still need to do a mating ceremony to make it permanent.

My attention snaps to the guy standing on the other side of the bed, leaning in too close to

  my mate.

“What are you doing here, vampire?” my voice booming against the walls. He stands tall

staring at me, his chest puffed out.

“She’s my mate,” he scrappy shoots out. I look down at the girl lying there, my future and

then back to him. Mate? My eyes I’m sure are popping out of my head right now, I’m trying to

  process what he just said.

  “She’s my mate, too.”

I bring her over to the bed and I place her down on top of the sheets; he raises his hand out

  to me, acting all formal.

“My name is Samuel Myers,” he says with confidence. I take his hand in mine for a split

  second then let go.

“Caleb Jackson,” just then there’s a throat being cleared behind us. I turn and see my father

  now standing beside Elizabeth’s parents.

“How can this be, dad? Does she really have two mates? Is that even possible?” I stare down

at Elizabeth than to Samuel while he looks unsure. My father shrugs his shoulders and sighs.

&n
bsp; Elizabeth’s mother looks lost in thought.

“I don’t know, son. I’ve heard of two mates before, but it never involved a vampire before.”

  R a v i s h i n g E l i z a b e t h ‘ W h i t e T i m b e r P a c k ’

My shoulders slump a bit, what if she chooses Samuel, as her mate? My wolf whines loudly

at the thought. I’m scared, I’ve just found her and she might end up not even giving me a chance.

Elizabeth’s mother finally snaps out of it.

“Elizabeth’s a white wolf. White wolves are known to have two mates, one wolf, and one

vampire. I read about it when Elizabeth was a small child. Your both her equal mates, she won’t have to choose either of you, your both hers, as she is yours. I can’t believe I didn’t remember this

  earlier.”

I sigh, thank God. Samuel seems to loosen up a little after hearing that little tad bit of

information, he was just as nervous as I was.

Everyone leaves the room, Samuel and I stay with Elizabeth. He seems to be unsure what to

say or do, well we might as well talk about what this entire situation means before she wakes up. I

clear my throat; his head snaps up to me.

  “I know this will take some getting used to, I mean sharing her.” He nods his head, sighing;

he runs his hand through his hair.

“I’m fine with the fact she has you as well, I’m not sure why but I am. It’s like deep down I

know you’re meant to be with us,” he mentions softly, he sits down on the edge of the bed, gazing

  down at our mate.

Hmmm… He seems to accept that we’re all supposed to be together. There’s no way in hell

I’ll swing that way with him, I only feel connected to him because he’s Elizabeth’s other mate, that’s it, no attraction to him what so ever.

“I was sure my wolf would want me to tear you apart right now but he’s calm about this

whole thing, which to me just proves that it’s true, we’re meant to be with her.” He raises a brow as he looks at me.

“I don’t swing that way buddy, and never will. So don’t get any ideas.” I shoot out quickly.

He smirks, chuckling lightly while shaking his head.

“Don’t worry, I don’t how you say ‘swing’ that way either.”
