  Promo copies of the 12-inch have a ‘For promotion only’ gold stamp on the back sleeve.

  The first copies of the CD were housed in a long cardboard box, and missed the last track ‘Endless, Nameless’. It was later added on the reissues, then omitted again, then re-added . . . The same happened with the cassettes.

  Three different promo cassettes (no code).

  1995 – USA, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (12-inch MFSL1-258, CD UDCD666)

  Reissue from the original master tapes, on 12-inch (5,000 copies numbered on the back sleeve, high definition vinyl and gatefold sleeve) and CD ( Ultradisc II golden CD).

  1991 – UK

  German releases ( Geffen, 12-inch GEF24425, CD GED24425, MC GEC24425) were distributed in the UK. Only promo cassettes ( DGC, no code) were made locally. Two versions: one includes the full album. Another has four tracks only.

  1998 – UK, Simply Vinyl (12-inch SVLP 0038)

  Audiophile release on 180g virgin vinyl. Two pressings, with silver or golden stickers on the outer clear plastic envelope sleeve.

  1992 – Czech Republic, Globus (12-inch 2101101311, 12-inch picture 0235)

  Green vinyl. A few promo copies were pressed in black vinyl. This first (official) pressing has black labels with silver titles and very glossy sleeves. In 1999 (unofficial?) reissues were made in black, green, blue, clear with multicolour spots and green with multicolour spots. These reissues have silver labels with black titles.

  The picture disc has a blue rim, and there is also a first and second pressing, distinguishable only by the presence of some extra numbers on the matrix.
