At the core of our beings, we were created to love and worship God and be loved by him. It's really that simple. So, why is it that we are so content with being detached and making others feel that they should be also?
My challenge to you is to seek out reconciliation with that person you have hurt or who has hurt you. Make time, make an effort, and make change. Show people they are wanted by you, by me, and by the God of the universe who died for them.
People may look down on you or think you’re strange. Or, they may relate to what you are saying and identify with their need for Christ. You and I don’t know what anyone else is going through. Only God does. So, let’s put aside all we think we know and need, and let’s start following God honestly and earnestly.
It doesn’t matter if people think you’re crazy, too. They already think I am, but I’m doing just fine. It took ostracism to find true community with God and the people he has put in my life.
So, go ahead.
Call me crazy.
