Spank Her Bundle 1 (Books 1-3) Page 14

To kill more time, Maggie ended up going to the movie theater she saw just down the block. She didn't care what was playing; she didn't even look at the marquee. She paid the admittance fee and went inside, choosing a seat in the last row.

Maggie paid no attention to the movie at all, spending the two hours thinking about how she was going to face Spence on Monday morning at work. She would just have to keep everything on a professional level and speak to Spence only about patients.

Meanwhile, Spence was berating himself for handling the whole thing so poorly. In hindsight, he thought he should have talked to her more about what he was going to do. He knew she had been expecting another erotic spanking and was looking forward to it. He had let her think that until the last possible minute because he knew she would fight him on the disciplinary spanking.

The way he handled everything today was not right and he felt bad about it. He called her on her cell phone but she did not answer. Spence tried to call a few more times but she obviously did not want to speak to him. He got in his car and drove to the Home Sweet Home cottages to apologize.

But she wasn’t there. Spence drove to the two furniture stores in town but didn’t see her car parked in either lot. She was probably too pissed off to go shopping anyway.

He drove around town, up and down the main street, and past the rental house that she’d be living in soon. But he saw no sign of her. Finally he gave up and went back home.

Spence tried to call her repeatedly and left a few messages asking her to please call him back; but she continued to ignore his calls. He hoped she was all right and that she had calmed down. He wanted to keep looking for her but he didn't know in which direction she had gone.

At about seven o'clock he couldn't just sit around anymore waiting and wondering where she had gone. He got back in his car and drove over to her cottage. Her carport was empty and there were no lights on, telling him that she was not there.

On the way back to his car, Nancy stepped out of her cottage and asked, “Was Maggie expecting you? I haven't seen her all day, not since she left early this morning.”

Spence didn't want to tell Nancy that Maggie had left his house angry with him, so he said, “No, I just happened to be driving by so I thought I'd stop in and see if she wanted to go grab a quick bite to eat.”

“Well, I'll tell her you were here when I see her.”

“Thanks Nancy, you have a good night,” Spence said as he headed to his car.

It was after nine o'clock when Maggie finally parked her SUV in the carport of her cottage. Nancy's lights were out, but Maggie thought she saw the curtain move.

She quickly went inside and locked the door. Hoping to keep Nancy from coming over, Maggie did not turn on any lights. She took off her clothes and crawled into bed. She wasn't sure what she was going to do tomorrow to avoid Spence.

Her phone rang again and she saw that it was Spence. She didn't answer. Then she got a text alert. Maggie wanted to ignore it when she saw that it was from Spence, but she was curious so she opened it.

Maggie, I'm sorry, please call me, let's talk. Please answer, I'm worried about you.

At first Maggie wasn't going to respond, but she didn't want to listen to text alerts all night long. She clicked the reply button and wrote, I'm fine, leave me alone. Then she hit the send button.

Out of curiosity, Maggie got up and went into the bathroom. She closed the door, turned on the light, and then looked at her rear end in the mirror. It was pink, but she had no idea how it had looked right after the spanking. At least it didn't hurt. She was sure that by morning the pink would be all gone.

Maggie got up early Sunday morning, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, grabbed a sweater, a few bottles of water, and got ready to take another long drive. She didn't know what else to do to avoid running into Spence. She didn't want to see Nancy either and Maggie was sure both of them would come knocking on her door if she stayed home.

After a quick search on the computer, Maggie decided to drive to Yellowstone National Park. It was a little more than 150 miles away and would be a good way to avoid being home in case Spence came by again.

While she was getting ready to go, her phone alerted her to another text message. She took a quick look and saw that it was from Spence and said, Can I come over? We need to talk.

Maggie didn't want to answer him; she wanted to be gone and not available for any of his talking. She chose not to answer the text.

She drove out of the Home Sweet Home driveway and pretended not to see Nancy as she stepped out of her cottage. Maggie headed west towards Yellowstone. At the next small town she stopped and filled her car up with gas. When she got back in her car there was another text alert and this time it said, You can't avoid me forever, please let me know when I can see you today.

Maggie decided to answer him rather than get a barrage of text messages from him all day long. She wrote, I'm out on a day trip, I will see you tomorrow at the clinic.

She had a surprisingly wonderful day at Yellowstone. At first she had thought it would be boring to go there alone, but that was not the case. She spotted quite a bit of wildlife including deer, buffalo, and bighorn sheep. She took lots of pictures, and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Maggie made sure that she did not eat a single healthy food item all day.

Maggie had fast food for breakfast, lunch was at a buffet style restaurant in the park and consisted of cream of potato soup, fried chicken, and buttery mashed potatoes. When she left the park at sunset, Maggie stopped at a Mexican fast food restaurant and ordered two tacos, a burrito, and a strawberry milkshake.

By the time she got back to her cottage it was late enough that Nancy was already in bed and not peeking out her window.

  SPANK HER AGAIN

  CHAPTER SIX

Maggie went into work on Monday morning, put her lunch in the fridge, and stashed a supply of candy and cream filled cupcakes in her locker along with her purse. That would keep her from having to use the vending machine. Then she went out front to deal with the first of the walk-in patients.

Like most Mondays it was a busy morning and Maggie didn't even see Spence. When there was finally a lull, she went to the kitchen and got her lunch. As she sat down at the small table the intercom chimed and Spence's voice said, “Ms. Mallory, please come to my office immediately to discuss a couple of patients.”

Maggie grabbed her lunch bag and took it with her to Spence's office. This would probably be the only break she had to eat her lunch before the clinic got busy again.

She knocked on his office door and when he said it was open, she entered. She said, “I hope you don't mind I brought my lunch in with me, Dr. Spencer, since I doubt there will be another chance to eat.”

“That’s fine, Maggie. Please have a seat.”

Maggie sat and started munching on her sandwich while Spence went over a few points on a couple of the patients Maggie had seen last Friday. Once he was done with that he tried to discuss their personal issues.

“Maggie, I want to apologize for Saturday morning. I don’t think I handled it well and you had every right to be angry with me.”

Maggie stopped him before he could go any further. “I’ve decided to take a step back and not get involved with anyone at this time. I just left my soon to be ex-husband a few weeks ago and I think I need to take some time for myself. Larry said it will be six to eight months before my divorce is final and until then I hope we can keep our relationship on a strictly professional basis.”

Spence couldn’t think of anything to say. She was right; it really was too soon for her to be starting another relationship. For all he knew, he was nothing more than her rebound guy. The thought of that didn’t make him happy.

Spence had been half out of his mind all weekend when Maggie wouldn’t answer his calls. He did not want just a professional relationship with her. He wanted to spend every waking moment with her. Spence realized he was in love with her. And how the hell could that be? He’d just met her les
s than two weeks ago.

“Do you really think that we can stay away from each other now that we know how good we are together?” Spence asked her.

Maggie shook her head, “We’re good together in bed, but it takes a lot more than sex to make a relationship work. We’re definitely at odds about the lifestyle you want with a woman. I don’t think I can live like that.”

“Maggie, don’t shut me out. I love you. And not just because the sex is fantastic.”

She looked at him in surprise. “You can’t love me; you haven’t known me long enough.”

“That’s what I thought at first. But, Maggie, when you refused to take my calls this weekend, I was going out of my mind. I searched all over town trying to find you. You were so upset when you left my house that I was worried about you when I couldn't find you. I realized yesterday that I love you.”

Maggie wasn’t sure what to make of this declaration. She hadn’t even thought of their relationship in terms of love. She liked Spence, liked him a lot. They’d had some positively mind blowing sex of the kind she’d never experienced before. But love? Maggie didn’t think she was in a position right now to even think about love. Hell, she was still married!

“Spence, I don’t know what to say. I know I need time. I know I need to get my divorce finalized. And most important, I’m pretty sure I don’t want to live the spanking lifestyle.”

Spence smiled and said, “It’s called Domestic Discipline, not the spanking lifestyle.”

They sat for a few more minutes, neither of them saying anything. Finally, Maggie got up and said, “I better go, there’ll be people waiting for me to get back.”

“Maggie, I get what you’re saying. But I want to talk more, let me cook you dinner at my house tonight.”

She shook her head, “No, I meant it when I said I need some time. I’ll go to dinner with you, but not at your house or at my place. We can talk, but I want and need some time without sex complicating things.”

“Fair enough. I’ll be here till about six or six thirty tonight and then I’ll call you and let you know I’m on my way to pick you up. We better get back to work now.”

Dinner was at a small Italian restaurant. Spence got a booth in the back that was fairly isolated so they could talk. He slid several sheets of paper across the table to Maggie and said, “This is a list of websites and blogs about domestic discipline. I think you should take a look at a couple of them and read some of the entries on the blogs. I’ve picked what I think are the best ones. There’s a lot of confusing information out there.”

“Are you trying to change my mind on the subject?” Maggie asked.

“No. Well, maybe. I just think it’s a new concept for you and I want you to have information about it. I don’t want to push or pressure you, just educate you on the subject.”

Maggie tucked the papers in her purse, ate some more of her Chicken Parmesan, and asked, “How did you become interested in this domestic discipline stuff?”

“I had a girlfriend about ten years ago who introduced me to it. I was hesitant at first. But she told me it kept her grounded. She needed guidelines to keep herself from overspending, making sure she got to bed early enough so she could get to work on time, and other things. She said she needed the discipline; it kept her from repeating the same mistakes over and over again. So I tried it and was amazed at how it changed her from a basically bitchy smartass to a respectful, productive person.”

Maggie wondered about a woman who would actually ask for this kind of lifestyle. “So what happened to that relationship?”

“We stayed together for about a year, but it wasn’t a real love match. She got a great job back east and moved.”

“And ever since then, you’ve seen the light and decided that every woman needs to be disciplined?”

“No, not really,” Spence replied, “There haven’t been any women since then that I wanted to have a long term relationship with. It’s not the kind of thing you do with someone you’re just dating. I guess it’s hard to explain. As soon as I saw you in the hospital when you were sick, I was attracted to you, and I felt this desire to take care of you. That includes making sure you don’t do anything that could be harmful or detrimental to you.”

It was getting late, they both needed to get home and to sleep. Spence walked her to her car, gave her a quick kiss and said, “Just take a look at the sites I gave you and if you have any questions, let me know.”

“I will,” Maggie said as she got in her SUV. “I’ll see you tomorrow at work.”

  SPANK HER AGAIN

  CHAPTER SEVEN

The next weeks flew by. Maggie worked every day, often staying past the end of her shift. She worked with Spence on the Saturdays he was scheduled. They went out to dinner a few times but Maggie refused to go to his house or have him come to hers.

Maggie moved into her rental house and spent most of her evenings making it a home. She spent some time every night looking at the domestic discipline websites.

Whenever Spence asked her if she had taken a look at the websites or blogs he had suggested, her reply was, “I’m working on it.”

Spence didn’t know if that meant she was working on getting around to it or if she was still learning about it. Maggie wouldn’t be pressured into hurrying.

She missed the incredible sex they had enjoyed, but would not give in. It was so hard when Spence kissed her goodnight, when he grabbed her ass and pulled her in tight to his groin so she could feel the incredible hard length of his cock against her.

He wanted her and she wanted him, but she still wasn’t sure about this domestic discipline thing and her notebook of questions was filling up. What surprised her most was how hot she became when she read some of the entries on the blogs. Not all of them, but unless it came across more like abuse than discipline, it excited her.

Maggie had a meeting with her lawyer over her divorce and it looked like Frank wasn’t going to attempt to contest the divorce. The only word from Frank’s lawyer was that since Maggie had cleaned out her checking account of what was technically community property; Frank wanted her to understand that he would not give her anything in settlement other than half of the proceeds from the sale of their house. Maggie was fine with that and told Larry to just get it done as fast as possible.

On the third Friday after the big blow up weekend of Maggie’s first punishment spanking, she was ready to talk to Spence and ask him questions about this lifestyle. She had gone to all the websites and blogs Spence had recommended. Maggie had also clicked on links to other sites and blogs and found more information than she ever wanted to know.

Before leaving the clinic on Friday afternoon, Maggie knocked on Spence’s office door and stepped inside when he called out, “Come on it, it’s open.”

Spence looked up and smiled when he saw his visitor was Maggie. “Getting ready to leave?”

She nodded and said, “Yes, and I’m ready to talk about those websites you thought I should visit. I have a huge amount of questions and want to know when we can get together.”

“Okay, when and where would you like to meet? My house or yours?”

“I’m not sure. I’d like someplace private so no one can overhear us, but also someplace neutral so we aren’t distracted.”

Spence asked, “Are you afraid I’ll jump your bones?”

“Actually, I’m more afraid that I’ll jump your bones.” She answered with a smile. “But honestly, I want this to be a serious discussion.”

“Okay, how about here at the clinic? We don’t have any overnight patients right now so we’ll have total privacy.”

“Okay, can we do it tonight? I’ll go home and get my notebook of questions and I have some leftover lasagna in the fridge that I can bring for dinner.”

“Sounds good,” Spence said. “I’ll finish up my reports and see you when you get back.”

Maggie was back in less than an hour and she dished up the lasagna, the salad she had quickly thrown together, an
d opened her notebook. “Can we start while we eat?”

“Sure, whatever you want. Give me your first question.”

“Okay, on the websites there were several other types of punishments besides spanking. Would you do any of those?”

“Specifically, which ones are you concerned about?”

“Well, standing in the corner, writing pages of I will not commit this crime again, loss of privileges. That kind of thing.”

“Would you object to doing any of those things?” Spence asked.

“They seem kind of childish, like something a teacher would use for punishment. I don’t think I could handle those kinds of consequences,” She replied.

“I agree; they are childish. But then you do realize that pretty much leaves only spanking, don’t you?”

“I know. And I’m not sure I can handle that either.”

“Maggie, if you don’t do something dangerous or harmful to yourself, a spanking would never happen.”

She thought about that and wondered if such a thing would be possible. He’d spanked her for eating junk food and driving too fast. She was not going to give up eating junk food.

“We’ll come back to that later. What about rules? Would you be putting a lot of them in place?”

Spence shook his head, “No, I don’t think so. Did you learn about the four D’s?”

“Yes, disobedience, dishonesty, disrespect, and danger.” Maggie answered. “I read about them and I have a problem with disobedience.”

“By that, do you mean you are often disobedient?” Spence teased her.

“No…maybe. I’m an adult; I can make my own decisions. I wouldn’t take well to being told ‘do this’ or ‘don’t do that.’ I get the dishonesty and I don’t lie so that’s no problem. What about disrespect?”
