“How does it feel to be Missus Murphy?” he said before squeezing her shoulders and kissing her forehead.
“It feels pretty wonderful so far.” She smiled, thinking back to their first dance. She’d let him surprise her with the song and he’d done a good job. He’d chosen “What’s It Like” by Jagged Edge, taking her right back to Valentine’s Day. And the wonderful night they’d shared at the restaurant. “I think I’ll be in love with you forever. Is that going to be a problem?”
“I don’t think so considering I’ll never stop falling in love with you.”
She grinned against his lips. “Good.”
He kissed her. “Good.”
“So what do we do now?”
“Dance the night away with me,” Chace said, grabbing her hands.
“More dancing? Aren’t we supposed to leave soon or something? After all the bouquet and garter stuff?”
“No leaving. Yes. More dancing.”
“Okay, let me ditch these shoes.” Whitney kicked her shoes off and let Chace pull her back out onto the dance floor. She smiled up at him, thinking that she had everything she needed in life right there on that dance floor. What a good feeling to have.
