A Little April Fools: A DD/LG Romance Page 8

Her legs were curled under her butt and her elbow leaned against the center console. “Where are we going?”

“Connecticut.” He replied. Her eyebrows cinched in on each other as confusion took over her face.

“Connecticut?” She sipped her coffee. “What the fuck is in Connecticut?”

  Chapter Nine.

Jade tried to guess where and what they would be doing that weekend all the way from Springfield, Vermont to Middletown, Connecticut. She came up with some wild guessing but not one of them was The Jasey Jay Show. For that David was grateful. The small town just a little over two hours away from their home town gave nothing away either.

David pulled into the hotel parking lot and helped Jade carry her bags to the lobby where they checked in and got the keys to the suite that would be their room for the next two nights. The hotel was one in a list of many of the brand’s chain hotels. It was nice but not fancy, comfortable but not home. They took the elevator up to the fifth floor where their room was waiting for them. Jade skipped in front of him, her body looking adorable in his jersey that cover her round rear in her thin leggings.

His heart began to pump that much quicker. He was going to be in the same room as Jade for two nights. Tonight should be normal, but tomorrow after she knew the truth, would she be willing to play games with him in this hotel room? Or would she hate him for bringing her on the show to tell her his biggest secret?

“Here it is!” She sang and shoved the key card into the slot. Her hip bumped the door and David followed her in. A giant king size bed caught his attention first. One bed. Not two full size beds but one giant bed. He controlled his breathing as Jade spun around in the room, squealing about how pretty it was.

“Oh, my gosh!” She shoved open the heavy curtains and let the bright afternoon sun bleed into the room. “There’s nothing to look at!” She giggled. The window faced a thick tree line of pines, still sprinkled with bits of snow left over from the last storm. She turned with a giggle and pranced over to the bed where she began jumping. The jersey bounced with the sway of her tits. “What are we doing here?”

He sat on the heating/ac unit and stared up at her bouncing figure. “I guess it won’t hurt to tell you now that you have no way of escaping.” Jade clapped her hands and blew out a heavy breath. Her face was taking on a ruby glow from her jumping.

  “Tell me, tell me.”

“I’m taking you on The Jasey Jay show.” He spoke flatly, not giving any indication whether or not he was excited to be taking her or not and watched her expression go from unbelieving to ecstatic.

“Shut up?” She plopped down on the bed and sprung forward to get closer to him. “Seriously?” She squealed. David just nodded with a soft chuckle. Jade threw herself at him. Her body plowing into his shoulders and making him fall back against the cool window pane. Her arms locked around his neck and she shook him as she hugged him. “Oh. My. God! I’m so excited!” David just laughed. He loved the feel of her body on top of his and allowed his hands to pet her back as she rocked them.

“What’s the show about?” She leaned back and crawled off him to sit beside him. “My best friend is my baby mama? No! I know.” She walked backward and bounced on her knees back onto the bed, making the mattress sag and lift under him when he joined her and sat next to her hyper self. “We’re doing make overs?” She squealed like a pig in a mud puddle and clenched her eyes closed as she bounced. “I don’t care what the episode is about! I’m so excited!”

“I’m relieved to hear you say that.” David watched Jade as she flopped down beside him. Her breathing heavy as she sighed.

“Why did you think I wouldn’t be? You know how much I love Jasey Jay.” Her knees curled up beside his hip as she turned on her side and propped her head up with her hand, her elbow in the bed. “Wait, unless…”

  David smirked. “Unless?”

“Are you pregnant with my baby?” She kept a straight face until David slowly nodded, a frown taking over his lips as he cradled his hands over his abs. She burst into happy giggles that brought tears to her eyes. “April fool’s indeed.”

“We’ll need to get up early tomorrow to arrive on set for nine. It’s a live taping so, ya know, watch your mouth.” He gave her a wink and turned his head again to look up at the white ceiling.

“What are we doing until then?” Jade moved closer and laid her head on the center of David’s chest. His hand lifted to dig his fingers under her messy bun to knead gently at her skull.

  “Netflix and chill?” He joked.

“Yeah.” Jade giggled. “Let’s watch Jasey Jay reruns all night long. We’ll know the show better than Jasey himself.”

“Whatever you want, baby doll.” David’s voice was barely above a whisper. Jade snuggled a little deeper into his chest and they laid like that for a long moment. Both of them listening to David’s heart beat and Jade’s breathing.

He had an urge to tell her the truth. Right here in this hotel room and just get it over with. Her head on his chest felt too perfect though and he didn’t want to lose this contact with her. His fingers worked her head until she moaned lightly. His cock twitched at the sound and he closed his eyes, willing himself not to get hard.

Jade slowly sat up and looked down at his face. “We need junk food.” His eyes opened slowly.

“Yup.” He pulled himself up and off the bed. “I saw a gas station across the parking lot. Shall we go load up?”

Jade bounced on her ass until she about bounced right off the edge of the bed. “Yessa!” The two of them left the room and walked back to the bank of elevators. “Wanna play a game?” Jade asked while placing her hand in the middle of David’s chest to keep him from entering the elevator.

“What game?” He smiled at her. She pointed with her other hand to the elevator beside the one she had stopped in front of.

“You go in that one and pick a floor. There are seven floors. If we both pick the same floor, then we are for sure best friends. But if we don’t then this whole thing is a dirty sham.” She giggled but David heard the truth in her words.

Their relationship was a sham. It was just an excuse for him to keep her close. He wanted her to know how much he cared for her, loved her, and ached for her body but all he said was “Okay.”

She nodded and he walked over to the other set of doors. Luck would have it that both elevators opened at the same time. “Good luck!” Jade called out from her elevator as David stepped into his. He ran his finger lightly over all seven buttons and listened for Jade’s elevator door to close.

  Three.

Like the number of petals on the clover in the tattoo on her perfect ass. He pressed the button for the third floor and when his stomach shifted from the moving car he feared it was more his nerves making him feel that way and not the elevator itself. The doors pinged as the opened and he took one big step into the hallway.

The other elevator was already open and he peeked inside to find Jade’s small hand holding the doors open. “You found me.” She squeaked.

“Best friends?” He asked and joined her in her car. Taking her hand away from the door he turned it over and traced the lines in her palms.

“Best of the best.” She smiled and her cheeks flushed.

“Jade,” David said her name but nothing else. Another couple pushed their way into the elevator and David shook his head. Holding Jade’s hand in his as the doors shut and the car brought them back to the lobby.

Hand in hand they walked through the lobby and across the parking lot. Once in the gas station Jade went wild. She threw Smart pop, every flavor of Doritos, ice cream, candy, and a six pack of Bud Light on the counter. The cashier looked confused but rang everything up and bagged it as best he could.

“Have a good night.” His eyebrow rose like he wasn’t sure if they were going to snack themselves to death or not.

Jade carried one bag and the six pack while David carried the rest back to their room. Inside she spread everything out on the wh
ite bed covers and twisted off the top to her beer. She squiggled her ass back until she could lean her back on the headboard and picked up the remote.

“Come on, let’s get this show on the road.” She patted the pillow next to her ass. David kicked off his boots and sat next to her. Picking up his own beer and watching as she worked through the hotel’s Netflix service to find what she wanted.

David didn’t care what they did or how the night went. He just wanted to get it over and done with so he could find out how Jade would react to his big reveal. All seven years of their friendship, his longing, her teasing it was all about to come to a head.

  Chapter Ten.

David’s cell phone alarm woke him up at eight in the morning. He opened his eyes to find Jade’s face mashed into his ribs. Her eye lids moved like she was dreaming and her drool had them stuck together. He smiled as he brushed some of her hair from her forehead. She was so beautiful, even like this.

She had one leg thrown over his kneecap and her hand rested between his pecs. Half empty chip bags cluttered the bed and melted ice cream cartons laid crashed on the floor. They’d ate until they couldn’t move and shared the six pack, giving them a decent buzz while they laughed and threw white cheddar popcorn at the TV.

He didn’t know when they’d fallen asleep or when he lost his shirt but he was thankful for this sticky minute where he could feel Jade’s breath against his skin. He stretched his arms above his head, the movement jostled Jade just enough for her to grunt and stretch her arm out across his chest to hug his side and pull herself even closer to him. He didn’t want to wake her, didn’t want to leave this bed but the live filming was in only an hour.

“Jade.” He smiled and raked his hand through her messy hair.

“No.” She shook her head and turned to mush her nose even deeper into his ribs.

“Yeah, it’s time to get up. If we don’t shower now, we’ll be late for the show.” He tugged her hair lightly and she turned her sleepy eyes up at him.

“You shower first, so I can keep sleeping.” She let go of him and rolled the other way, giving him a good look at her prefect ass in the thin leggings.

“Oh,” he cooed and let his hand slip from her shoulder down her back. He rolled in the same direction, jabbing his morning wood into her plump ass. “I thought maybe you’d shower with me.” His jaw clenched, he hadn’t even given it a thought before he pressed himself against her and now that he was here, deeply aligned between her ass cheeks he wanted more not less of her.

Jade’s body stiffened at the touch of his cock against her. Even with both of their pants between them he could feel how hot her body was. How even while just waking up she would be ready for him if he were to take her. “What?” She choked out without moving.

“April Fools.” He whispered and hopped up to his knees. She looked over her shoulder and he slapped her ass hard before he jumped off the bed. Her squeak of surprise pleased him as he walked into the bathroom and gave her one last look. Her hand rubbed her ass cheek where he had struck her but other than that she didn’t move.

“Jerk.” She grumbled and snuggled back into the covers. Each move she made causing the chip bags to cringle and shift, some even falling off the edge of the bed.

At the studio, the two were greeted by a producer who separated them quickly. Backstage was like a maze of small hallways and tiny rooms with couches for people to chat or cry on. Jade was asked to wait in a room with three other females while David had to walk clear across the massive studio building to wait with two other men and a female. They were the best friends with the life changing secrets.

“There’s a TV screen here so that you can watch the live feed while you wait for your turn.” The producer pointed a finger towards the screen. “There’s a variety of drinks and snacks on the table, feel free to take what you’d like. Sally, you’ll be up first. Then Tom, then David, and then last will be you Sam.” She looked up from her clip board. “Any questions?”

“Yeah, does the room with our friends have the same TV?” The girl named Sally asked. She was wearing tight blue jeans and a tiny tank top that couldn’t hold in her muffin top. She had large hoop earrings and so many necklaces around her neck that David wondered how she could still stand up straight with that kind of weight tied around her neck.

“No. Your costars will not be watching the show. They do have a TV but it’s playing old episodes. They will not be able to see or hear anything discussed on the stage so please be open and honest with Jasey.” She looked each of them in the eye until everyone nodded or mumbled an agreeance. “Perfect. Our sound guy will be in a moment to wire you all up, if you would like hair and make-up, I can get that set up for you, hold tight and we’ll get the show started shortly.” She gave a quick smile before she breezed out the door.

David was nervous and began pacing the small room, thinking about what he would say to Jade and all the possible ways she could react. Sally kept eye fucking him every chance she got. Licking her lips when he turned in her direction and rubbing her hands on her thighs. Gross.

“What’s your secret?” Sam asked Tom.

“I got her sister pregnant.” He sighed.

“Oh, shit.” Sam laughed and clapped Tom’s shoulder with his hand. “She gonna be pissed?”

“Yup.” He nodded and clicked his tongue against his teeth. “She’ll probably try to fight me. You?” Tom had on baggy jeans that hung past his blue boxers and a baseball jersey shirt that was unbuttoned to reveal his undershirt. These people were so slimy, just looking at them made David feel like he needed a shower. He never should have done this.

Sally stood up to join the other two and David took her spot on the love seat, away from the rest. He hung his head and dug his elbows into his knees. “I’m going to jail.” Sally interrupted. David closed his eyes and ran his hands over his head. Jade didn’t belong here. It was one thing to watch the trash on the TV but a whole other situation to be sitting in the same room with them.

“Hey, everyone!” A tall lanky guy called from the doorway. “I’m Jerry, your sound provider. I’m gonna wire you up according to who’s on first.” He placed a stash of small black boxes and wires on the snack table.

“Oh!” Sally grinned and hooked a finger around one large, gold hoop in her ear. “That’d be me.” Jerry picked up a small box and smiled.

“Great, if you could just lift your shirt a little and let me strap this on.” Sally turned her back to Jerry and lifted her tank top much higher than necessary, flashing the cups of her purple bra to everyone in the room. Jerry got down on one knee behind her and held the small box to the middle of her back. He latched a stretchy band around her body and Velcroed it to the box. He stood again, threading the microphone wires under her tank top and between her cleavage to clip the small mic to the inside of her tank top. He didn’t seem phased by her willingness to flash him and David wondered if it was because he had seen so much worse.

A voice came from a walkie talkie clipped to Jerry’s shoulder. “Sound are you ready to send up Sally? We’ll be live in twenty minutes.”

“All set, bringing her up now.” Jerry replied then stepped back from Sally. “You ready, hon?” Sally pulled her tank top down as far as it would go and nodded.

“I think so.” Jerry held out his arm for her to take and like a gentleman, walked her towards the stage. David, Tom, and Sam all watched the screen where Jasey Jay was now welcoming the audience.

“Hello, good morning, we have a great show for you today!” Jasey had blonde hair, threaded with bits of grey and white. His face was wrinkled with kindness and his voice was comforting. David could understand why so many people brought him their secretes. “First up we have a couple of best friends, one with a secret so big it could ruin their friendship. Let’s welcome Sally, come on out Sally.” The crowd clapped loudly to welcome Sally.

She sashayed out onto the stage and sat down on one of the two stools waiting on the stage. “Hiii,”
She waved with a toothy smile.

“Hi, Sally, you are keeping a secret from your best friend,” Jasey looked down at his note cards and back up. “Jessi?”

  “Yes, that’s right.” Sally smiled.

“Okay, so tell us, what’s the secret.” Jasey crossed his arms in front of his body and listened.

“Okay, well, Jessi and I have been friends forever and like she had this problem at her house where someone kept breaking into her family’s cars and stealing money and stuff.”

  “Okay,” Jasey encouraged.

“Well, no one knows, but it was me.”

“You were stealing from Jessi’s family? Out of their cars?” Jasey shook his head, clearly confused.

“Right. I needed money and whatever. Anyway, her uncle caught me last week breaking into his truck and he had me arrested but Jessi was at work so she don’t know about it.” The crowd broke out in loud boo-ing sounds.

“You got arrested? Then what happened?” Jasey asked.

“My sister bailed me out but like, I go to court in a month and my lawyer says I’m going to jail.”

“I see.” Jasey lifted his hand-held mic to his mouth. “So, you are here to confess that you were the one breaking into the cars and you are going to jail to pay for it.”

  “Yup.” Sally laughed nervously.

“Alright, let’s tell her. Everyone, welcome Sally’s long time best friend, Jessi.” The crowd gave her a warm welcome of cheers and David leaned back in the love seat. He couldn’t decide if his sexual desire for Jade was better or worse than stealing from your best friend’s family. “Hi there, have a seat.”

Jessi was a tiny little thing with dark red hair chopped in a shaggy pixie cut. She was wearing a white skirt and baby pink tank top that almost matched her friend’s, except she didn’t have the muffin top to try to cover. “Hi.” She said shyly. She looked to Sally then out at the cameras.
