"I'm still not understanding, what the hell is going on and why Marina is telling us all of this. Isn't she the enemy and the main one that trapped us up in the first place and took Ayoyna and Isis from us?" Layla said as she raises her sniper rifle and looks through the scope and squeezes the trigger.
The bullet crashes through the back windshield of the car she was in and travels, slamming into the black Tahoe's front tire that was following them, the Tahoe truck swivels out of control then flips over, rolling a few times before coming to a stop. The second black Tahoe truck that was behind it crashes right into the upside down truck. The sound of screaming F.B.I. Agents could be heard.
"Okay I took care of our tail" Layla said as she turns around and places the sniper rifle back onto the car floor.
"I told you to trust me Layla. I plan for everything." Tess said as she drove and talks.
Marina is a close friend of mine almost like a daughter to me, like you. About thirteen years ago, close to the time I found you wandering the streets I met Marina, who was going by the name Rina at the time." Tess said then looks at Marina who smiled weakly.
Marina closes her eyes and begins to speak.
"I was sixteen years old. My mother who was addicted to crack hadn't always been that way. We all know the stories of Black Ice the boogieman of the hood. He had kidnapped her along with a group of other women and she got strung out and pregnant by him. She was never the same after that. Shortly after, she started selling me to different men to get her fix because men no longer wanted her. The crack had eaten away her beauty and body. My first sexual experience, I was thirteen and was with a guy that was old enough to be my father. That abuse continued until I ran away. The funny thing is I ended up in the same situation, sleeping with hustlers and letting their friends run trains on me, just to have a place to sleep at night. While I was there I used to see Tess pop up to the hustlers apartment once in a while. They would give her money and it didn't take me long before I realized all those niggas worked for her. I watched how they respected and feared her. I wanted that same respect and fear. They treated me like shit and passed me around to the next man as if I had no value. One day I had enough and refused to sleep with anymore, they took turns raping me and beating my ass. Tess happened to come over that day and heard my weak cries for help, she pistol whipped the leader of the team and stuck the gun in his mouth and blew his brains out in front of the other hustlers and made sure we all knew not to talk or we knew what would happen. She took me with her out of that apartment and let me live in a one bedroom apartment in a building she owned on Ocean Avenue. She gave me allowance and I wanted to join her team and work for her. She turned me flat down. I though it was because she thought I was a slut or hoe or that I seemed weak in her eyes, but neither was the case. She explained to me that my time will come to repay her one day and being in the streets wasn't going to help her in anyway. The deal she made with me was to stay in the apartment rent free and keep the car she gave me along with the allowance she gave me each month to survive. I had to go to school and get my education, so that's what I did, and when I told her what I was going to college for. I thought she would disown me and stop paying my tuition, but that wasn't the case. I went to college for criminal law and graduated. Tess was right there showing support. She even got me a new car, she was the mother I wish I had, it's funny because she wasn't that much older than me, but I became an F.B.I. and quickly rose to the top in my career. Tess called in for that favor and I told her I was signed to her case, so we set the F.B.I. up and made it look like I caught the Teflon Divas and made the Feds sign an agreement on the five contract killings to get immunity and all your charges dropped, but they switch the game plan and wanted five more people killed and wanted Ayoyna and Isis as collateral for those jobs. I wind up finding out that they wanted to murder you all from knowing too much." Marina said while looking out the passenger side window as they drove on the highway.
"Damn, that was a long ass story." Layla said while laughing.
Marina's facial expression twisted up, not getting the joke.
"Awww, don't feel no kind of way I was in the same kind of situation until Tess had found me. That's why Iris calls her Captain Save a Hoe." Layla said while smiling after seeing Marina's face twist up then her facial expression turns into a cheese smile.
"I guess your F.B.I. career is over, so welcome to the Teflon Divas." Layla stated.
"I guess it is. I'm happy to be a part of the team." Marina replied.
"Okay enough with the small chit chat, where's the Feds keeping my daughter and niece?" Tess asks.
You're not going to like the answer to that Tess, just know that this one was out of my control, but we're going to have to move fast. How can we fly out of here?" Marina said.
Layla grins.
Tess looks at Marina.
"We're the Teflon Divas we own five small jets and two helicopters and Layla can fly them all. So now tell me were my damn child is at?" Tess replied.
Marina nervously opens her mouth to speak. Then stops, she takes a deep breath then spoke.
"Ayoyna and Isis are in a safe house with Ms. Linda in the Dominican Republic."
Tess stomps on the breaks almost causing an accident, she pulls the car over to the side of the road. She stares at Marina as if she wanted to rip her fucking head off.
"You have my child and niece on an island that pretty much is controlled by my damn enemy. How did you allow this to happen?" Tess shouted.
"Forgive me. I had no control of the situation." Marina pleaded.
"How you didn't have any control, this is your fucking case. We planned this for two years. Now you're telling me that my child and niece are in danger. I trusted you." Tess said as tears flow down her cheeks.
Seeing her cry causes Marina and Layla both to start crying. Tess wasn't much older than the two women but they both looked at her as their mother figure when no one else in the world wanted them and just abused them. Tess loved them and did what few to no one else would for them. So seeing her in pain caused them pain and heartache.
"Everything was going as planned. Tess they first had the children in Las Vegas with Ms. Linda in a safe house. I just found out today they moved them to the Dominican Republic. The Federal Bureau figured that would be the last place in the world that you will search for them since you have beef with the Santiago drug family." Marina stated while still crying.
Tess uses the back of her hand to wipe her own face then wipes Marina and Layla's tears.
"Enough talking lets go get my baby and niece. Tess said as she pulls off heading for La Guardia Airport.
"What about Iris?" Layla asked.
"Call her! If she doesn't answer we leave without her!" Tess replied while pulling out her iPhone from her Gucci purse and made a few calls to get her next set of plans ready.

Chapter 19
Tess, Layla and Marina were glad that they were able to sneak into the Dominican Republic undetected by the Santiago drug family. They waited till night fall before making their move. The safe house was on a mountain in a little town call Baoruco. Layla climbs a tree and found a comfortable spot as she sets up her sniper rifle with the digital scope.
"Everything looks clear from here boss lady." Layla said in the tiny two-way receiver in her ear.
Tess checks her holsters under her arms, making sure her twin P80 9mm rugers with the extended clip was locked and loaded. Then she checks the chain blade whip that was snapped on the right side of her belt. Last she checks the flash grenades. She looks over at Marina who was pulling back the bolt to a SKS in her hand chambering around. On the holster on her waist was a 9mm luger. She had on a full bullet proof, tight fitting black body armor suit.
"You look good in that." Tess said while staring at her, like a proud mother.
"Thanks, it feels good and kind of sexy I can see why y'all like it so much. I might wear it to the club one night." Marina replied.
"Are you sure you want to do this? You can back out of this right now and there will be no hard feelings. You did a lot already by getting all our names cleared and charges dropped." Tess said.
"I'm in all the way Tess. What I have done for you is mini compared to what you've done for me you saved my life, so let's go get your daughter and niece back." Marina stated as she and Tess squat low, inching towards the safe house.
Right away Tess' woman's intuition told her something was wrong. The tropical air sent a slight breeze on the back of her neck, making the little hairs on the back of her neck stand up straight.
"Something is wrong." She said out loud as they reach the front of the house.
Her eyes open up wide in horror when she sees two dead F.B.I. Agents in black suits dead. Their bodies were covered in blood and pushed into a bush on the side of the house. Tess looks closer and could see two more dead F.B.I. Agents on the left side of the house.
"Layla you didn't see this?" Tess asks in the small two-way receiver in her ear.
"Not at first. The brushes covered them up good from my sight." Layla replied.
"We're too late the Santiago drug family has gotten my baby." Tess replied with tears building up in her eyes.
"No Tess I see movement still in the house. We're not too late." Layla responded.
"Come on." Tess said leading the way with Marina following close behind.
They enter through the front door that was wide opened. They step over a few dead F.B.I. Agents as they made their way down the long hallway. Two men stood with their backs turned to them, holding guns. They never heard Tess and Marina sneak up on them until it was too late. Tess snaps the first ones neck in a blink of an eye. Marina pulls out a knife from the side holster on her belt and slices the second man's neck. He held his open wound as blood gushes out. He fell to the floor as his body went into convulsions. Tess and Marina step over their bodies and continue to walk down the hallway. They could hear voices, two of the voices speaking sound familiar as a woman screams.
"Why are you doing this leave the children alone."
Tess enters the room and couldn't believe her eyes. Four henchmen from the Santiago drug family stood on four corners of the room. Ms. Linda was on her knees with her back towards the wall with Ayoyna and Isis behind her crying as she uses her body as a shield to protect them. Standing in front of them was Iris pointing a colt 45 handgun at Ms. Linda's forehead. Iris turns her head towards the room doorway and a wicked grin spread across her face.
"I thought you would never get here and look who you came with, you're working with that bitch now! Always Captain Save a Hoe." Iris said.
"What! What are you doing here Iris and why are you pointing a gun at Ms. Linda?" Tess asks with a confused and puzzled look on her face.
"You haven't figured it out by now Tess. I've been fucking Miguel, the head of the Santiago family for three years now. Every time they found our safe house it was because of me." Iris said while smirking.
"Why Iris, your my best friend. I love you, why would you betray me and the team." Tess replied then felt the barrel of a gun pressed into the back of her head.
So did Marina.
"Drop your fucking gun." They heard a voice boom in a strong Spanish accent.
Tess drops both her twin P80 9mm's onto the floor. Marina drops her SKS 9mm.
"Any second this house will be surrounded by more of the Santiago family henchmen. There will be no escaping this time Tess. You're in the Dominican Republic, the Santiago's home base. You're done for." Iris said while laughing.
"You ask why? Why? And say you love me, but just like Bless, you couldn't really love me enough. Bless been gone for five years and you're still stuck on him. The man is dead and gone Tess. I thought you would get over him by now, but you'd rather attach your fucking self to his old memoirs than let me make love to you. We were perfect together Tess." Iris said while a tear ran down her cheek and stares at Tess with an insane look.
"You're over reacting and letting that dependent personality disorder take over, you're very emotional and not thinking straight. We need to get our babies out of here." Tess said.
"Again you're thinking about fucking everybody else but me. Forget the kids, forget the team, fuck the damn Teflon Divas, forget all of that and care only about me Tess. That's all I ever wanted. You don't think I need love. I was forced to watch you have the man I loved and wanted." Iris said while crying.
"Huh! What are you talking about now? What man you loved? You sound crazy right about now. This isn't the time for this." Tess replied.
"Bitch, this is the perfect time to lay everything out on the table, after tonight it won't be another chance, I was in love with Bless, he was the only one I told my darkest secrets too and didn't judge me, that my father was rapping me. Once I told Bless, my father never touched me again. Let me ask you a question. How long did you think I was going to fuck you and Bless at the same time and not get emotionally involved with the both of you? I am human or did the both of you think I was just some toy that you can put down and pick up and play with anytime you felt like!" Iris shouted while crying hysterically.
"Iris you never been a toy to me or Bless."
"Por que el amor duele tanto? I know Tess, your Spanish isn't good. So I'll break it down to you. Tess it means why does love hurt so much." Iris said.
"You always wanted more than what anyone of us had to offer or give, you're a grown ass woman and knew what you were doing. Now give me my daughter and let Ms. Linda go. I'm not going tell you again." Tess said through clenched teeth.
"There you go, always worrying about everybody else, while I'm pouring my damn heart out to you! Pay fucking attention to me, only me!" Iris yelled and raised the colt 45 handgun to Ms. Linda's head.
"No please no!" Ms. Linda cried out as she sees the insane look in Iris then stares at Tess looking for help.
A bullet crashes into the side of her forehead ripping a huge whole before her body could hit the floor face first two more bullets filled her lungs.
"Noooo! Noooo!" Tess screams and started to run towards Ms. Linda and her screaming and crying daughter and niece, but a henchman grabs her arm stopping her.
A gagging sound could be heard coming from behind Tess and Marina. Tess turns around to see the two henchmen that had her and Marina at gunpoint, now has a knife sticking through the back of their necks and coming out throw the front of their throats then a man with a bullet proof face mask on, steps into the room and stood next to Tess and Marina.
"What the fuck is he doing here? I thought you killed him." Iris asked even more confused.
The four henchmen in the room standing next to her turns there guns on the masked man. He drops his gun and puts his hands up. Tess just smirks.
"I think I'll let him tell you." Tess replied.
The man with the bullet proof mask on took the mask off his face and let it drop to the floor. Iris' eyes open wide in terror as her heart beats faster and felt as if it was going to bust through her chest.
"How can this be? You're … you're dead." Iris said as her hands and body shook out of nervousness.
Bless just stood there with rage in his dark brown eyes, as he stared at Iris.
"You tried to take my life but failed. I was in a coma for five years. When I awoke I remembered everything Iris. How you betrayed us, how you told me it was you who killed our friends Young and Lee, because they had figured out it was you all along that set us up with the Santiago family." Bless said.
The more he talked the more Iris' body shook in fear as she could feel pee running down her thigh as she emptied her bowels on herself.
"After I woke up, I put my ears to the streets and found out you all have become International Assassins, called the Teflon Divas. With no way for me to ever find y'all, I came up with a plan, for the Teflon Divas to find me. I recreated myself and became the Shadow, a high priced assassin. No one knew his identity and took contracts that were meant for the Teflon Divas in hop
es to piss y'all off and you would track me down. It took me eight months to build my name, but I still didn't think it was enough to get noticed by you. Imagine my surprise and joy when I made the hit on Aamirah, to see Tess running towards me in the rain firing at me. I knew God had truly answered my prayers, but then I saw you Iris, swinging that Gatling machine gun in the streets and knew what I had to do. I took off running, praying Tess would pursue me. When she did, I lead her deep into the subway train tunnels, were she caught me and removes my mask. One of the hit men that were on that block happens to follow us. Tess killed him, blowing his face to pieces and we dress him in my clothes and mask. I explained everything to Tess. It was a hard pill for her to swallow that her best friend was a psycho killer behind my death. She still couldn't fully believe it until now, the snake in you finally shows it figures." Bless said.
Iris swallows the extra saliva in her mouth. Everything she's been hiding had all came out. She took a deep breath and gains her composer as she hears cars and trucks pull up to the house.
"I guess the saying is true. Whatever goes on in the dark will eventually come to the light, but none of that matter now. Tess and Bless when you continue to ignore someone on a daily basis, you're teaching them to live without you and that easily what the two of you done to me. Those cars and trucks you hear outside are more henchmen from the Santiago drug family .You're surrounded and outgunned." Iris stated.
Tess, Bless and Marina could hear footsteps surrounding the house and a group of henchmen enters the house. Iris you should know me better than that, it's not over yet." Tess replied while grilling iris.
"Bitch please, if you even look like you're going to move funny these men have been ordered to kill you, even though Miguel wants you alive so don't try anything stupid. You only have Layla left out there and the men are looking for her as we speak." Iris responded and starts to laugh.
'You're forgetting one more person." Tess said with a huge grin on her face.
