“Come here. Let’s break in this new bed.” Brett took her by the hand and led her to the huge bed.

“Brett,” Mia sighed as she began caressing his bare chest.

He laid them both down on the bed, positioning himself comfortably on top of her, his lips never leaving her face. He kissed her forehead, her eyelids, her cheeks, and her neck, not wanting to leave any part untouched by his mouth.

Mia caressed his back, pleading with her body for him to hurry.

As much as he wanted to pound into her after waiting so many days, he took it slowly. This was a special night.

Brett broke his kiss and looked down at Mia. She was exquisite. Her thick, curly hair fanned over the cream sheets was something to behold.

  “Brett, please….”

“Let’s take our time, baby. We have all night. This room was made for lovemaking, nice and slow.”

She nodded, and he proceeded with his assault, kissing her hard, then gently, all the time removing her gown inch by inch. “I want to taste every part of you,” Brett said. “You’re so soft.”

He took a nipple in his mouth and suckled it gently. After a few moments of Mia’s squirming and moaning, he went to her other nipple and gave it the same treatment. He slid down her half-naked body and kissed her stomach. “I told you, I want to taste all of you.”

She gripped Brett’s shoulders as he moved further and further down her body. The train of her gown dragged along the floor. He began kissing the tops of her thighs, then the back of her knees, her calves, her ankles. He removed the gown, and tossed it toward the other side of the room.

Mia thrashed on the bed, twisting the thick comforter and sheets around her.

Brett decided to give her what she wanted. He repositioned her, then slid his hands once more down her body, relishing the look of raw passion in her eyes. She was more than ready for him. He got on his knees and gently spread her legs. He carefully began to stroke her outer lips, enjoying the feel of her damp curls on his fingers.

Brett licked his lips like a hungry tiger and lightly licked the inside of her slick folds. He would make this a night to remember.

Mia almost came off the bed with the first swipe of his tongue. With the second and third, she had to hold onto the sides of the bed and the headboard.

“I love the feel of your tongue, but you’re killing me.”

“That wouldn’t do any of us any good,” he teased. He continued, slowly licking her, and she wiggled on the bed.

He said he would be gentle, but this was agony. Ever since he’d first touched her, her body was begging to be taken. Mia gripped her hand into Brett’s thick blond hair, almost pulling it out from the root. Instead of slowing down, Brett picked up the pace and sucked harder.

The room began to spin as she neared climax.

Brett grabbed her thighs and began eating her out in earnest.

Mia ripped at the sheets. If she was tearing them, she didn’t care. It was Brett’s fault for being so damn good.

Her orgasm was more intense than ever, nearly making her bump her head on the headboard. Luckily it was tufted in thick fabric. Brett let go of her legs and let them rest lightly on the bed. Her body drifted back down to earth, and her breathing returned to normal.

“You still want me, don’t you?”

He was so devilish. She nodded and watched him remove his pajama bottoms. An erotic sheen of sweat covered his golden, tanned body, and he slicked back his hair, letting the damp strands fall loosely to the side of his face. Mia glanced down and noticed she wasn’t the only one wanting. his cock was larger than ever, and the vein looked as if it would burst.

Brett smiled in satisfaction, knowing that she more than approved of his appearance. He stepped off the bed and reached over to the end table and grabbed a foil packet.

“Two weeks is a long time, Mia.”

“One week and two days,” she corrected with a giggle.

  “It seemed like an eternity.”

“I promise not to do that again.”

“I was wrong, but that’s in the past. Let’s deal with the present.”

Before Mia could take another breath, Brett plunged into her with one smooth, slick stroke.

“You feel so good inside me.” Mia sighed.

“You feel so good around me.”

Brett slowly slid in and out of her, bracing himself with his arms resting on either side of her head. “Oh, yes, Mia. You and I fit just right. You’re always wet and tight for me.”

Mia grabbed Brett’s arms for support. She began to buck under him, matching every thrust, every stroke. Damn, he was hot inside her. Brett’s pumping became faster, and his body began to tense. He leaned down and began to suck on her hard and aching nipples.

Mia screamed out her second climax and tore at Brett’s back as though trying to climb him.

But he didn’t stop after that. His thrusts seemed to get deeper, and he seemed to get larger. He tensed up some more, then he threw back his head and yelled out his own release.

A few seconds later, Brett lay on top of her, his breath coming rapidly. He turned his head slightly and looked at Mia and smiled. She smiled back and brushed his hair with her hand.

“That was beautiful,” Mia said. “Do you think it’s something to do with the room?”

Brett chuckled. “We’ve got to come here more often.”

“Brett?” She paused and took a deep breath. “I love you.”

“I love you, too, the future Mrs. Wyndam.”

  Epilogue

  Three Years Later

Mia stood in the customs line with Brett. They’d spent two months in Ghana, longer than they expected, but construction on the research center had finally been completed. After tons of red tape and false starts, it had just opened, and a week earlier than scheduled. They stayed and greeted the first wave of scientists and doctors, and watched them at work, treating villagers with modern medicine and providing vaccinations.

Mia was so proud of her husband. They’d married right after they returned home from their first trip from Bolgatanga, another city that Brett was thinking about for the foundation.

Mia met the Otoo twins. Brett had talked about them so much, she felt a bond with them even before they were introduced and immediately fell in love with them.

Mia was also proud of her former colleagues. Tingle, Kelly, Emerson, and the others were naturals. After extensive training and introductions to third-world situations, they’d come to the center and fit right in. They’d won the people and children over that very first semester.

She’d also met Latisha’s other half, Derek. Seeing them together, she knew why Brett sang their praises.

Her first time in the country was a bit shaky. Even though she went through the training and Brett’s experiences gave her an insider’s view, she still wasn’t prepared for the things she saw. However, seeing the dedication of Brett and his team gave her more than hope.

Another hospital was being built, as was a secondary school. Brett told her he wanted it timed just right, so when the kids graduated from the newly-built middle school, the high school would be more than ready to take its first incoming class.

Mia’s second and third trip back were like visiting home and seeing old friends.

After the customs agent checked their souvenirs and gave them the okay, they headed to the arrivals deck, where Hunter was waiting for them with the Towncar.

“Mr. Wyndam, Mrs. Wyndam.” Hunter bowed, tipping his hat. “How was your trip?” he asked as he helped them into the back seat.

“Fantastic as always.” Mia said. “Here, this is for you.” She handed him a wooden giraffe one of the kids had carved in school.

“Thank you. This is Trace’s favorite animal.”

“I know,” Mia said, getting comfortable in her seat. Tracy had moved in with Hunter a year after that first date.

She still couldn’t believe she’d married Brett Wyndam, that same boy who’d
been in her office for all kinds of mayhem. She knew somewhere up above, Frank Sampson was shaking his head.

Mia leaned over and kissed Brett on the cheek.

“Hey, what was that for? Not that I mind,” Brett said, returning the kiss.

“Just my way of telling you how lucky I feel.”

“You mean, ‘How lucky I feel, Sir’.”

  Mia grinned, then complied.

  “Yes, Sir.”
