“I’m about to come,” I said as I felt my climax approaching.
I yelled out as I came into her. I kept pumping as her tight walls gripped the edges of my cock. When I finished, she relaxed her legs from around my waist, breathing heavily on top of the couch
I woke up with my cock in my hand and come all over my torso and bedsheets. Fuck. I leaned my head backwards onto the pillow once I realized it was all just a dream. It had been weeks since I saw Carina and I missed every inch of her. I couldn’t believe that I had come to a point in my life where I contemplated leaving the force just to start a life with her. I never imagined a time like this, especially since I never imagined myself settling down anytime soon. Carina was different though and it didn’t take me long to figure that out.
I threw my covers off and carried myself into the bathroom. It was almost 7 am when I came back to the bedroom. I snatched the covers off the bed and replaced them so I could lay back down. On my nightstand, my phone buzzed from a voicemail that I didn’t know I received. When I saw that the missed call was from Carina, I rubbed my eyes to make sure that I wasn’t imagining her name flashing across my screen. I pressed the voicemail button and listened to her voice.
It was something I was waiting to hear for a while now and before that phone call, I was sure that I would never speak to her or hear from her again. I looked down at my watch and saw that it was too early to call her back, so I decided to wait until later that morning. I laid back down and attempted to fall back asleep but images of Carina fluttered through my mind. I sat up with a long sigh and grabbed my phone to go through my emails to see what O’Malley wanted from me. We were due for another meeting and I knew he would be pissed once he found out that I hadn’t made much progress through Carina, but the fact that I saw Mason with Nico was enough to keep him at bay. I followed that trail for the past week, but I didn’t find anything that was worth mentioning. Nothing that was concrete evidence anyway.
If Mason was one of the crooked cops, then he did a hell of a job hiding it because I never would’ve suspected a thing from him. He had acted a little strange when he realized I was on the Dellucci case, but Mason was always a little bit strange. I scrolled down my phone and landed on the email O’Malley sent, ordering me to meet with him at our spot later that afternoon. Fuck. I was so fucked when it comes to that meeting. I tossed the phone onto the nightstand and tried to close my eyes again, but it was no use.
When my clock finally read 8 AM I grabbed my phone and called Carina. Her voice was groggy when she picked up.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Carina. I just got your voicemail.”
“Oh, right. What time is it?”
“Just past 8 am, aren’t you supposed to be getting up for school?”
She stifled a yawn. “Yeah, I’m getting up now. I have to be there by 8:30. Are you busy later? I wanted to talk to you about stuff.”
“No, I’ll make time for you this evening. Maybe we can step out somewhere and talk.”
“Yeah, I’d like that.”
“Alright. Well, I’ll call you later on then, ok?”
“Sounds good.”
“Alright.”
I hung up the phone. I was excited to see her again, but O’Malley’s warning started to become the annoying voice inside my head. Could she be setting me up like he thought? Did she tell her family about me? If she did, then would they be there ready to take me out? I’d been in dangerous situations before and I always made it out alive, so I wasn’t really worried about that happening. I just had to make sure I was prepared in case I did end up in that situation.
I got dressed and made my way to meet with O’Malley outside of the abandoned building. When I got there, he puffed on a cigar the same way he always did. I stifled a laugh because with the cigar and the damn fedora he was wearing, he looked like a private detective from one of those old movies. He stood just to the side of his vehicle with his eyes locked on my every movement. He spoke through a cloud of smoke as I approached him.
“Tell me something good, Harrison.”
“I wish I could.”
“Don’t bullshit me. You’ve been on this case for nearly a month, so spit it out.” I took a deep breath and folded my arms over my chest. The only progress I’d made was seeing Mason meet with Nico. And I wasn’t about to bring that to O’Malley’s attention just yet. I wanted to be sure before I threw one of my friends under the bus. I didn’t say another word and after that, he knew I wasn’t bullshitting.
“What the fuck is wrong with you, Harrison?! What in the holy fuck is wrong with you!? One fucking month on this case and you don’t have shit for me? Huh? What the fuck are you doing? Wasting my time and money while you twiddle your fucking dick in the process?”
“No, Captain. I am just having a hard time going–”
“That Carina, huh? She’s got you wrapped around her little fucking finger, doesn’t she? God, damn it,” he said, laughing. Not in a way that signaled joy, but in a way, that showed how pathetic I was in his eyes.
“If I would’ve known that you couldn’t handle this shit, I would’ve never put you on the case. You are a fucking embarrassment right now, Harrison. A complete and total embarrassment. What do you have to say for yourself?”
A brisk wind blew against our bodies and carried the cigar smoke off into the distance. I squinted my eyes at the freeway as a herd of cars sped past us. After a moment of silence, he finally spoke again.
“You know what, Harrison? I’ve had enough of this bullshit. You are off the case.”
“What?” I felt my heart rate start to pick up. I had never been taken off a case.
“You heard me. You are off the fucking case. I am tired of you pussyfooting so now, you can go and do whatever you need to with that Carina girl. You can help her family for all I care because right now, I am suspending you from the force.”
I clenched my fist as I felt anger course through my veins.
“For what?”
“Non-compliance. Insubordination. Fucking treachery. You pick. Give me your badge and your fucking gun, Harrison.” I glared at him as he loomed just ahead of me. After all I had fucking done for him. I’ve had several successful undercover operations under his watch, and now because this one was taking a little bit longer than expected, he had to fucking fly off the handle. He took another puff of his cigar as the ashes glowed on the butt.
“Your fucking badge,” he said with the cigar dangling from his lips, “and your gun. I will not ask you again.”
I reached into my waistband and pulled my gun out. “Slowly,” he said as I removed it from the holster. I put the gun on the hood of his vehicle, then tossed my badge right beside it. He took the cigar out of his mouth.
“Good. Now, you have some time to clear your fucking mind. Hopefully, a few weeks will help you remember what fucking side you are on. Until then, I don’t even want to see your face at the precinct. If I do, I will have you arrested for interfering with police business.”
He took the gun and my badge off the hood of his car, then got inside and drove off, leaving me standing alone near the abandoned warehouse.
Fucking prick. One way or the other, I was going to get to the bottom of this shit, with or without the shield.
Chapter 18
Carina
I got dressed to meet with Harrison later that Friday evening. I was anxious because I hadn’t seen him in what seemed like forever. I could hardly contain my nerves as I stood in front of the mirror and put on makeup. I wanted to look good, but I didn’t want to look like I was trying too hard. We were supposed to meet at a spot just outside of Chicago. I’d never been there before, but I assumed that it was because he didn’t want certain people to see us together. As much as I hated to admit it, the thought of sneaking around with him was kind of hot. It turned me on in more ways than one.
He texted me the address to The Lux and as soon as I got it, I was on my way to meet him. I was nervous like it was our first da
te together. I had so much to say to him and I hoped that I didn’t sound like a bumbling idiot whenever we finally got the chance to talk. Two weeks felt a lot longer than what it really was.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes, hoping to spot his car. Out of nowhere, there was a knock on my passenger side window and I screamed out loud and dropped my phone when I heard the noise. It was Harrison. Damn. He looks just as good as I remembered.
He walked to my side of the car and opened the door for me as I tried to calm my nerves. With his hand extended in my direction, he helped me out.
“So, you’re just going to scare my apologies out of me, huh?”
“I didn’t think you would react that way.”
“Well, I am in an unfamiliar spot and a knock on my window. That would be enough to scare me.”
He smiled as we stood in front of each other, silently. Without warning, he leaned forward and wrapped his arms around my body. I hugged him back and for the first time in weeks, I felt like I was protected. His strong arms held me tight and I felt that I could stay in that position for the rest of my life. He kissed me on the cheek, then released me. I wanted to feel his lips on mine, but maybe that was asking for too much, too soon. I was willing to take whatever he wanted to give me. He took me by the hand and led me into the restaurant.
The hostess directed us to a seat along the edge of the dining area. She smiled and handed us menus.
“Your server will be right with you,” she said. Her smile lingered in Harrison’s direction. I held my tongue and went through the menu to see what they had to offer.
“So, I guess you have asked me to come all the way out here so no one would see us.”
The smile on his face dropped slightly, “I just figured it was a bit safer.”
I watched the muscles in his bicep tense slightly. His white t-shirt fit his body like a glove and instantly reminded me of what I had been missing physically for the past couple of weeks.
“So, I guess I will get right to the point. I believe you didn’t know who I was before we met. It took me a little while to get to this point, but I see that your scenario is possible.”
He put his menu down and stared into my eyes. “I didn’t want to put you in danger. I didn’t want anything bad to happen to you, Carina. That’s why I couldn’t go through with it.” I could see the sincerity shining bright through his eyes. He continued, “I am sorry that you ended up in the middle of this, but I care for you. I care for you enough to not be the one to bring any charges against you.”
I looked down at his hand as he placed it on top of mine. I couldn’t help but to smile at his touch. But then the words he just said registered in my mind. “Charges against you.” As much as I was attracted to him, he was still a cop. A cop that was looking to arrest my family.
“So, now what?” I asked. “I mean, you still have a job to do, don’t you? You’re still coming after my family?”
The waiter came back to our table and silenced our conversation. He was a tall, light skinned male with a voice that was lighter than what we both expected.
“Are you two ready to order?” he asked with a small pad of paper and a pen in his hand.
“Give us a little more time,” Harrison responded. He smiled and walked away from our table as Harrison redirected his attention towards me. “I’ll just say that my job has taken an unexpected turn and I am no longer on that case.”
“You’re not?” I searched his eyes for the truth, and he looked straight at me.
“No. I was taken off because of my affection for you. My Captain believed I couldn’t do my job properly, so I was suspended for the time being.”
“Wow. I didn’t… wow.” A small knot formed in my stomach. As much as I wished for things to be easy with us, it all just seemed so difficult. Because of me, Harrison was now suspended from his job.
He flashed a smile in my direction. “It’s not on you, it’s on me. I just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t be the one to come between you and your family. But I have to be honest with you Carina. Someone eventually will. They are building up their case on them with my information or not, and I am sure my Captain will have someone else undercover in the next few days, working a different way in.”
I bit my lip, and the knot grew bigger in my stomach. I always knew that something like this could eventually happen to my family. That was the reason I tried to stay out of it as much as I could. I was never able to convince them to not do what they did. And I always understood deep down that it was wrong. But they are my family. They are the people that raised me, and I still loved them.
“Harrison, I..” but he quickly cut me off.
“I know this is hard to take in,” Harrison said. “And I get it. They are your family. I never had that relationship with mine, but seeing how you feel about them, I now understand.”
I slowly nodded. I was thankful that he was understanding how conflicted about all of this I was.
“While I can’t help you get them out of what they did,” Harrison continued. “I will try my best to let you know what is going on. I care about you, and I want you to be safe. And if that means letting you know what is happening, then I am willing to risk everything to make that the case.”
I smiled at him bashfully. I couldn’t believe that he was willing to risk his job and his career just to keep me out of trouble. That said more than any word that he could have uttered to me.
“Harrison? I have sort of lost my appetite tonight.”
“What’s wrong?”
“Well, I mean, I still have it… but… I don’t want anything on this menu.” I looked at him and licked my lips and from there, it didn’t take long for him to pick up on what I was saying. With a smile, he leaned back in his seat, nodding his head towards me.
***
We walked into my house and his lips crashed into mine. His strong arms wrapped tightly around me as we both wrestled out of our clothes. I laughed as I stumbled through my front room, nearly falling onto my face and I would have if Harrison wasn’t there to keep me upright. He smiled and right after, our lips reconnected as we bumped into walls, knocking pictures to the floor on our way to my room.
When we made it inside, I pushed him away from me. We stood as if we were facing off with each other and as his eyes glared at me, I removed my blouse and let it slide to the floor. My skirt followed right behind and after that, I stepped closer to him. My breast pressed against his body as I stood up and planted my lips onto his. He put his arms around me and danced his tongue around in my mouth. I backed him into the couch and lifted his shirt over his head while I kissed him on the lips. He wrestled with the buckle on his pants until it finally unbuckled and fell to the ground. My breathing intensified because I was waiting for this moment ever since the last time he entered me. Suddenly, he picked me up and sat me on his lap as he ran his hands up my back and loosened my bra strap.
I leaned forward and kissed him on his neck as his hands firmly gripped my backside. I grinded on top of him. He finally loosened my bra, exposing my round breasts and erect nipples. He licked his tongue around their firmness as I squirmed. The sensation sent chills over my body before he engulfed my breasts inside of his mouth.
I reached my hands into his pants until I wrestled his cock free from its cage and without warning, I stood up from his lap and slid my mouth around it. Harrison leaned back as I licked the shaft and massaged his balls with the other hand.
“Yes,” he moaned in a voice that was barely audible as I slid his cock completely inside my mouth. The tip of it brushed against the back of my throat until I pulled the saliva covered penis out of my mouth.
I licked the shaft and wrapped my hand around it as he stood up and grabbed me by the waist. He leaned back onto the couch while he coaxed my head down to his waist, and my hips towards his face. As I leaned down on him he planted his mouth right onto my clit as I slid my mouth back around his cock. I dug my nails into his thighs as he br
ushed his tongue over my clit and sent a thunderous vibration through my legs until a rush of waves moved throughout my body.
He massaged my clit with his tongue and held me in place for minutes before he pushed his fingers gently inside me. I continue to run my tongue down his shaft as I moaned slightly. I pushed my hips back harder onto his face as he brought me closer to the edge. I pulled his cock out of my mouth and ran my hand down it as I let loud moans escape my lips. When I stopped, he lifted me up and leaned my back against the couch, and he leaned his body over mine. He lifted my arms up and pinned them back by my head. His chest flexed with muscles each time he thrusted inside of me.
“Yes, Harrison. Yes,” I moaned, pushing him deeper inside of me. He pushed his lips against mine and twirled his tongue around in my mouth as I gripped my legs around his waist.
“Don’t stop,” I said in a breath, “I’m coming again.” My legs shook vigorously each time he moved in and out of me.
“Wait a minute,” he said as he pulled out of me and moved down to my core. “I want to taste it again.” He slid down to my waist and flicked his tongue on my clit as I put my hands on the back of his head. My legs tremored as he moved his tongue quickly over me.
I felt the pressure build up again as I was pushed over the edge. My legs squeezing around his neck as my entire body shook. After that, he flipped me over and climbed on top of me like a lion pouncing on its prey. He took one leg and held it up as he thrusted himself into me without remorse. My mouth hung open as if I wanted to scream but couldn’t get the sound to leave my throat. He pounded me from behind as he grabbed a handful of my hair and yanked it towards him. I pounded on the couch cushion as pain mixed perfectly with pleasure. He smacked my ass with so much force that I felt the sting for minutes after he hit it. He pushed himself deeper inside of me as he came again and with that, I yelled out loud.
