“But what if someone else needs you?” she asked.

He could see the war going on within her, the desire to have him for himself but knowing she had to share him.

Grayson reached out his hand toward her. Without hesitating, she squeezed his hand.

“Right now, you need me. I’m always here for you, first and foremost.”

Olivia granted him a bright smile, and he couldn’t wait until two weeks from now when his surprise was revealed. Alexis didn’t realize how much this bash meant to him, meant that he had healed. He loved and adored Patty and cherished his memory of her and all of the parties they had hosted. This was a new step in his life. Olivia meant as much to him as Patty had, and he would do anything and everything for her. This bash would step up their entire future, and he couldn’t wait for everything to fall into place for them.

  Chapter 6

Once Grayson got off his phone, dinner was amazing, and they returned home to make sweet, sweet love. Olivia woke up feeling much happier.

Grayson had to check in on his business that morning. She had meant to bring up hers during dinner but never got around to it. Instead, they had swapped childhood stories like the time she had broken her arm falling over the side of a slide when she had been four or when he had his first job delivering mail with his uncle when he had been six. He had gotten paid in lollipops.

After she kissed Grayson goodbye, Olivia sighed. Maybe it was a blessing the convention center was booked in two weeks. Even with her friends’ help, it might prove impossible to get everything done in time. Besides the invites, fashion, and food, she also needed models. It was very possible that her fashion show might not draw a crowd to warrant the convention center in the first place.

Still, Olivia did things big and never went home, so she called up the convention center and booked it for two months from now, the earliest slot available.

“Perfect,” the receptionist said. “Is there anything else I can help you with today?”

“Yes, actually. On your website, there isn’t an event listed for two weeks from now. I’m curious. What will be going on then?”

“I’m not sure, Mrs. Earle. It says here that a Mr. Earle has it rented out then. Is he—”

Olivia hung up. Mr. Earle had some explaining to do.

Olivia waited impatiently for Grayson to come home. He was whistling.

Her husband kissed her forehead after he shut the front door behind him. “Did you have a good day?”

“Had a blast with Alexis,” she said, which had been the truth until she had uncovered why her best friend insisted they spend the day together. “Why did you have her keep me busy?”

He gaped at her, shocked but also worried. “I—”

“Why do you have the convention center blocked off in two weeks?” she demanded.

Grayson muttered a curse under his breath.

“What’s the matter?” she asked. “Hoped I wouldn’t find out? Is it a car show?”

  “No, nothing for work.”

“Then why? I was hoping to have a fashion show then. It would be crazy, but—”

  “You will.”

  “But…”

Grayson ran a hand through his hair. He looked upset and frustrated.

“It was supposed to be a surprise,” he muttered.

  “What was?” she asked, confused.

“A bash in your honor with a fashion show at the end.”

  “A fashion show?”

He took her hand, brought her outside to his car, and drove her to this office. In one of the spare rooms, he flicked the switch.

Olivia gasped, astonished and amazed. Twenty of her designs stared back at her.

  “Who… When…”

“I borrowed your sketches and had the ones I liked best made. I hope you like them. You didn’t always write down the material you wanted, so we had to guess.”

She walked through, examining them all until her eyes welled with tears, and she couldn’t see.

“Did I screw up?” he asked quietly. “Maybe I shouldn’t have let the seamstresses work on your designs, but I wanted it to be a surprise.

Olivia shook her head. “No screw up,” was all she could manage.

She rushed over to him and buried her face into his chest as sobs of happiness overwhelmed her.

  Chapter 7

Grayson hated that the surprise had been ruined, but having Olivia help with the planning was fun too. She was so excited. He loved how eager she was.

Finally, it was time for the big night. Grayson wore a white suit and black tie.

“Ready, love?” he called from the front door.

  “Yes.”

A lovely vision walked toward him sheathed in a silver gown that hugged her curves in all the right places. Her black hair was swept on top of her head, covered in sparkles. Behind her head was a raised collar that seemed to serve as a silver halo and reminded him of the moon.

Grayson gaped at her, jaw dropped, amazed that she was his.

“You never wore that before,” he managed when he could speak after a lengthy hesitation.

“It’s an Olivia original made by Olivia.” She spun around, and his cock twitched, seeing how tightly the backside caressed her amazing ass. “You like?”

“Very much,” he growled, having to adjust himself. “Are you sure you’re okay that you didn’t sew all of the clothes for the show?”

“I’m sure. They’re still my designs.” She patted his arm and then his ass. “Don’t worry. You did good. And you look good too,” she added with a wink.

The drive over was uneventful. First, the evening began with some mingling and then music and dancing.

Olivia was one hell of a dancer. She ground against him so long and hard he nearly came right then and there. He had to walk directly behind her to his seat so no one could see his painful erection. His balls hurt so badly, wanting release. Then, everyone took their seats for dinner and the fashion show.

She kissed his temple after he claimed his seat. “I have to go.”

He grabbed her hand and pulled her close. “You have to make this up to me,” he murmured in her ear.

Olivia blinked innocently. “Make what up to you?”

“This.” He gauged that her body and the table should block everyone’s view before placing her hand on his hard cock.

She stroked twice and winked. “Maybe that can be arranged.”

  “Maybe?” he groaned.

With a giggle, she kissed his forehead and walked around the tables to behind the stage.

So many amazing designs, patterns, and colors. Olivia had final say over every piece and made adjustments as needed. She also created several of her newest designs too.

The models were all werewolves, mostly from their high school and colleges. All of them were lovely, including Olivia, who modelled the last design. She was breathtaking in a gold dress with glitter in lines along the skirt and long train. A sun to complement her earlier moon.

Once the thunderous applause died down, Olivia accepted the mic from Alexis, who had announced each model.

“Thank you all for coming,” Olivia said. “I am thrilled to have shared my designs with you. All dreams, big or small, are worth fighting for. Don’t forget to dream. Dream often. Dream big. Keep fighting. Your time under the light of the sun will come. I promise.”

More applause rang out, and Grayson sprang to his feet, cheering and shouting. His hands hurt from clapping so hard.

  She was amazing.

  My sole soul.

  Chapter 8

Olivia could hardly believe it. Every piece in the fashion show had been auctioned off, and some of the pieces went for far greater than she ever anticipated or conceived possible. In additional, many of the ladies wished to place orders for several pieces. She would have to go over the numbers later, but it seemed to her that she would definitely have more than enough to hire those three seamstresses Grayson had.
Soon, she would have to look into a means of mass producing her clothing, but for now, she would manage.

It took hours after the fashion show for Olivia and Grayson to be able to leave. They held hands as Grayson drove, and not a word was said. Sometimes, silence was perfection.

When they arrived, they walked hand-in-hand inside. Grayson led her straight into their bedroom, and she slowly removed his sport coat and then unbuttoned his dress shirt. Without removing the shirt from his body, she went to work on the belt and zipper of his pants. His cock leaped out at her, and she took it into her mouth, licking the already salty pre-cum oozing at the tip.

“Olivia,” he murmured, gently touching her head but not forcing her to suck harder or faster.

Still, she did suck harder and faster, sucking as hard as she could, and when his hot cum squirted into her mouth, she swallowed every last drop.

Then, she finished undressing Grayson and carefully removed her dress. She pushed him onto the bed, his legs hanging over the side. His cock was still rock hard, and she positioned her opening right at his head.

“Let me touch you first,” Grayson begged, but she was already impaling herself on his almost too-thick cock. “Fuck.”

Olivia grinned. Her hair was beginning to tumble down from her pins, and from the way Grayson was looking at her, he thought it made her look even more beautiful.

She brought his hands to her breasts as she began to slowly ride him, allow him to slip completely out before driving him inside deeper and deeper each time. For a moment, his fingers tweaked her nipples, but then he let one hand slid down her stomach. When his fingers touched her clit, Olivia jerked and twisted.

  “That’s not fair,” she protested.

“No? What if I did this?”

Her husband gently rolled her clit, and she couldn’t handle it any longer. She came so very hard that she was afraid she had made a mess. Olivia nearly stumbled to land on top of her partner, unable to not be overwhelmed by the powerful nature of her orgasm.

“Do that again,” Grayson murmured. He held her hip with one hand, his other fingers still working on her clit.

  “Do what again?” she teased.

“You know what. Come again. Make me come.”

She nodded and clenched her walls as tightly as she could.

  “Fuck,” Grayson said.

He lifted Olivia from on top of him, guided her to lie back down on top of him, her back against his front, and he slipped his penis back inside of her. She thrust against him, moving in time with his own movements. There was no sign of sorcery that suggested a wizard anywhere near.

When Grayson reached back around to tweak her nipples, Olivia thought about touching her clit, but then his fingers worked their way down there.

And she came again, even more violently than before. Grayson came too, she could feel it, and her body tingled with desire.

She slid off him and lay next to him.

Grayson sighed contentedly. He shifted his legs slightly and then groaned.

“What is it?” she asked drowsily.

  “You squirted.”

  “I did?” Olivia asked, shocked.

Grayson ran his hands over the bed and winced.

“There, another spot wet,” he said.

  “From what?”

  “From you.”

  “But I’ve never squirt before.”

“So? There’s a first time for everything.”

“So very true,” she murmured, clinging to Grayson one last time. “I want to have so many more firsts with you.”

  “Anything you want.”

Olivia beamed. “Is that a promise?”

  “You can count on that.”

She snuggled against her werewolf alpha, the man she adored and loved. She loved the city too.

Olivia had come out to Detroit to find herself, and she had. She was a fighter, someone who would stand up for others, even strangers. She was a lover reforged into a one-man woman. She was a fashion designer who faced limitless possibilities. She was an alpha’s wife, an alpha female.

  And finally, she was happy.

“Thank you,” she said, lifting her head from his chest. She kissed him passionately.

  “For what?” he murmured.

  “For everything.”

Grayson chuckled, his chest rumbling beneath her. “Anything for my sole soul.”

His sole soul. She loved the sound of that. Olivia could not wait for their future to start.
