Her life was only beginning. “What are your plans now?”
“I want to get married and have a family.” Callie announced her wishes as calmly as she might have discussed the weather. “My mom and dad married young, and my mom has made a full-time job out of being a wife and mother.”
He had to ask. “Any candidates for a husband?”
“Maybe.” Her blush was back. “One might have just appeared.”
“Oh, really?” Elliott’s heart sped up. “And what makes you think the guy would be interested in the position?”
Callie didn’t hesitate. “Because he kissed the stuffing out of me.”
“Yeah, well, he’s about to do it again.” Elliott smiled as he pulled her back into his arms. Nick was right. It seemed Elliott had found the right woman, after all.
A reunion, a stalker, and a vengeful man—what’s a woman to do? If that woman is Holly Morris, she relies on her faith, friends, and a dog named Clarence.
After six years of peace, Holly’s college stalker has returned with a vengeance. If she doesn’t remember she belongs to him, somebody is going to be hurt. To add to her fun life, the man she helps turn in for child abuse blames her for everything, and he’s going to get even–threatening to “finish her off.” With a reunion of students who barely looked at the chubby girl, Holly Morris, coming up, she’s about at the end of her rope. It’s a good thing the Lord has provided a support system to keep her from falling.
Luke Walker has loved Holly as long as he can remember. He protected her from bullies in school, and he’ll protect her from the monsters after her now–even while dealing with threats and vandalism on his farm. Nobody is going to scare him away from Holly. When he lets his beloved Heinz 57 dog, Clarence, spend nights as her watchdog, everybody feels better. The amiable giant has always gone into killer mode when he thought anyone was too close to Holly.
Join Holly and Luke as they discover the depth of friendship and love…and that God’s love is stronger than any evil.
COMING SOON
The exciting conclusion of the In Shadow trilogy!
Evil has come to Shadow, and an elite team from the Federal Safety Agency, the American Multiple Abduction Recovery team, is right behind it.
Ellie Walker doesn’t remember the past five years—not after driving off a bridge. She’s come to Shadow and made a new home near her cousin and his wife. She even has a steady boyfriend who seems to mean more to her than he should. Sometimes, Ellie is so content she’s not sure she wants to remember.
Brady Donovan was ordered by the doctors to let Ellie remember on her own, but he’s not about to let her forget him. He’s banking on her falling in love with him all over again.
Although Brady is the head of the AMAR, he has passed himself off as an author who has found a quiet place to write his great novel.
When it appears the organization they’re trying to stop has set up shop in Shadow. Brady and his team know this isn’t a coincidence. Nobody knows how Ellie ended up nearly dying in that wreck, and the AMAR team realizes Ellie knows something important. She just can’t remember.
Secrets and suspicions may be too much for Ellie and Brady to survive. When she remembers everything, will she love Brady? Or is there something in her past to keep them apart? The criminal they’ve been looking for may turn out to be much closer than any of them anticipated.
Lives are in danger, and hearts break as Brady and Ellie search for the truth.

DO NOT READ THIS UNTIL YOU’VE READ THE BOOK
A Note from the Author
A few of my beta readers weren’t very happy with me for killing off Matt. Believe it or not, I hadn’t planned to. I tried too many times to count, but I couldn’t redeem him. It helped a little to find out about his daughter and how much he loved her, but had the Janitor turned himself in, he would have gone to the electric chair, or at the very least, spent his life in prison. And I liked him too much to do that.
As for whether his new location is in heaven or far south of it, who knows? When the plane was going down, maybe he had an epiphany and asked forgiveness before it hit ground. That’s what I’d like to think.
On a lighter note, probably three-fourths of the readers I’ve spoken with or received messages from wanted Clarence, Luke and Holly Walker’s dog, to be in this story. If you’ve read it, you know he’s in this book. He is also in Staying in Shadow, book three, which has a planned release in August.
I’d enjoy hearing your opinions. You can read my blog and contact me at www.georgiaevansauthor.com
