I took a step back and walked off, clutching my hands into fists at my side. I was mad at myself. As I walked to the waiting car that was taking me back to my place to get my stuff for my flight, I thought back to her beautiful face. This night would forever haunt me. Nothing in life had ever prepared me for the feelings I had for her. She was my beautiful, my reason, and my light. I’d find a way to get out of this fucking darkness, and I would get her back—one way or another.

Even though romance novels aren’t his thing, he still listened to me talk about my characters as if they were real people without fussing about it, most of the time. About the Author
J. M. La Rocca was born in Chicago, IL. At an early age, her family relocated to lower Alabama, where she began her love for writing. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and twin sons.
As a stay-at-home mom, La Rocca was able to pursue her love of writing in GA. It was always an unrealized dream to write her own book. With the encouragement of her mother, La Rocca began to set to paper her ideas for her first book.
