by Brad Murray
He owed it to Andy. He owed it to Jimmy.
His final words to Minkowski, just before the last bit of breath escaped his lungs, was to inform him of the golden vial in his pocket, and that he must use it to save the man to which he’d caused so much pain.
“Save Andrew.”
His last words. His dying wish.

He was found.
And in so many ways he never thought possible. Jimmy Porter had his father back, and with it his family. And he’d found the best friend he’d ever have in La’Roi, plus the love of his life in Jenny. As he held his daughter in his arms and watched the little girl’s eyelids fall heavy despite the ruckus of the nighttime fireworks, Jimmy connected with his father, who was soaking it all in. Jimmy appreciated that it was these moments his father particularly cherished, having had them taken away in a blink. They chose to enjoy each and every day they had remaining together, and to avoid focusing on the time they had missed. And, as La’Roi whooped and hollered over the big firework finale, Jimmy felt the contentment that reflected in his father’s sparkling eyes.
Enjoy this book? Please leave a quick review. You can make an enormous difference!
In this digital day and age, reviews are amongst the most powerful tools that exist when it comes to getting attention in the crowded world of books. I chose the self publishing route, because I would rather have full control over the content and creative discretion of my books. But it has its drawbacks. I don’t have the marketing muscle of a big New York publisher, who historically have held all the keys in an author’s success or failure.
I enjoy writing, and I truly hope you enjoy my writing. As such, I ask for your quick and honest review of this work on Amazon. You can jump right to the page by clicking below.
