“I have something to show you,” he says. “Follow me.”
The alien warrior doesn’t wait for an answer.
He assumes I’ll follow him blindly. It’s annoying — but he’s not wrong.
I follow Romulus up to the observation deck, where a large window provides a panorama of all the space that surrounds us.
What I see makes me lose my breath.
Saturn.
In all its glory.
The planet is gigantic from up close, the ring surrounding it even more majestic than I dared to dream. Its swirling colors are mesmerizing, and I find my face pressed against the cold window.
“Wow,” is all I can muster.
“You like the view?”
“I love it!”
“I thought so. Titan is over there,” he points. “One of the many moons surrounding Saturn. I’ll take the Classis over there. Do you want to walk on her surface?”
I whip around. “Walk? On the surface? Of a moon?”
“Yes. Yes. And yes.”
“We can do that?”
“We certainly can.”
My heart starts pounding. I’m not ready to be the first human to set foot on Titan.
Then again, when is one ready for such a momentous task?
“Wait,” I ask. “Why are you doing this?”
Is he trying to make up for being such an ass earlier?
“I’m scanning your solar system for possible threats,” he says. “The Classis is tracking all the solar radiation, so we know when another wormhole opens up.”
“Wormhole?”
Romulus smiles. “See, I’ve already said too much. The bottom line is, we have the time, so why not?”
Why not?
That’s good enough for me.
“Fine. Let’s do it.”
Romulus
With my help, Alexa slips into the bulky spacesuit.
This time, I refrained from spanking her ass, or grabbing a fistful of her hair and bending her over… though I had to muster every last bit of my self-control.
Something about this woman drives me mad.
Perhaps a walk in sub-zero temperatures will cool my jets.
“Are you ready?” I ask.
Alexa nods. “I think so.”
“Follow my instructions carefully, human. I won’t lie. The surface is dangerous. The temperature is minus 290 degrees.”
“Whoa. That’s cold.”
“You’re damn right it’s cold. If your suit ruptures, you’re dead.”
Alexa shifts her weight from one foot to the other. “Maybe this is not such a good idea after all…”
“Nonsense. No risk, no glory. Now, the gravity is about 1/7th of what you’re used to on Earth, so I’m going to tether your suit to mine,” I say as I attach her suit to mine. “Just to be safe.”
“You’re going to babysit me?” she chuckles.
“I am. And if you’re bad, I will punish you.”
The doors open with a hiss.
“Enjoy.”
The brown surface of Titan greets us. I lead the way out, taking big strides, feeling as light as a feather. There’s something magical about low gravity, of being able to whiz through the air without the ground pulling you right back down.
“Whoa!” Alexa cheers into my headset. “This is… amazing!”
She jumps right up and floats through the air, her arms stretched out, grinning the entire time.
“Pretty nice huh? Glad you came out here?”
“You bet!”
I hold the line steady, so she doesn’t drift too far away.
Until I lose my footing.
Alexa
The view… it’s simply stunning.
In the distance I can see the sun, but it’s only a small speck in the air, instead of the big fireball that is it back on Earth.
And here, Saturn dominates the sky. Half of the entire vista is taken up by the giant gas-planet with its impressive ring.
I take my earlier thoughts back — I feel blessed to be out here.
“You’re right, Romulus, this is amazing,” I say as I float through the air, wiggling my toes, a smile on my face… “…Romulus?”
I whip around and my heart leaps into my throat. Romulus is stumbling down the side of a hill, his fingers grabbing at the ground for support, but finding only loose dirt. Our suits are tethered to one another, so a moment later, I’m jerked in his direction, flying through the air.
He grabs a rock, holding on with all his might, and to my delight he stops his fall. For a moment I was worried sick right down to my stomach, and not just for my own survival or for my mission, but for Romulus.
The intensity of it surprises me. I mean, not like I care about the giant…
Romulus has stopped, but the force of the jerk that pulled me in his direction is still in full effect, and I drift past him, seemingly in slow-motion…
Fuck.
“Watch out!” I scream, but it’s too late.
I can’t do anything but helplessly drift through the air. The Elban warrior is standing at the ready, his boots planted firmly on the ground, but the force is simply too strong. I pull him off his feet and, to my horror, he flies off the hill, face-forward, falling, stumbling, rolling down towards a lake.
A lake.
I don’t know what’s in there, but I know it’s not good for your health. This isn’t some spa. This is a frozen, inhospitable planet. My heart goes into overdrive, panic overriding all of my senses.
I have to do something. I land on my two feet, grip the rope with two hands and swing it around a rock, digging my boots as far into the soft ground as possible.
Please work.
Please.
The line tightens, and Romulus’s weight nearly yanks me off my feet… but my plan works. Romulus climbs to his feet and back up the hill.
“Holy shit,” I say into my head set. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” he answers as he dusts his suit off. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
“What? You could have died back there!”
Romulus shrugs. “All in a days work.”
I can’t believe he’s being so glib about it. My heart is still pounding!
“Well, I’ve had enough excitement for one day,” I say. “Lets go back.”
“Are you sure?”
“Very.”
Chapter Seven
Romulus
She bought it. Hook, line and sinker.
The look on Alexa’s face was priceless. I was curious to see how the small human would act under pressure, and she passed my test with flying colors.
“You could have died back there!” she scowls. “How are you so calm?!”
It’s hard to suppress my grin. Almost as hard as I am.
“The lake is only methane; my suit would have protected me,” I tell her.
“Well. Still. You could have hit a rock and hurt yourself all the same.”
“Instead, you saved me,” I tell her.
Alexa leans back into her seat, and a small smile forms on her lips.
“I did, didn’t I?”
“You sure did.”
“Who’d have thunk it. Little old me, saving an Elban warrior…”
“Don’t let it get to your head now,” I say. “Never speak a word of this.”
“Or what? Or are you embarrassed you got saved by a girl?”
“Silence human,” I growl.
I am not embarrassed.
I am thoroughly confused, for I am actually enjoying the human’s company, and our playful banter.
Ridiculous.
I did not anticipate this. And it is my job, my sworn duty to anticipate every possible outcome… but even I could not see this coming.
Could I be wrong about the humans?
Could they be worthy of my respect?
No.
Is what I used to say… but now…
Time for another test.
Alexa
The surface of T
itan grows more distant by the second. Am I the first human to have set foot on her? I’ll have to check the logs, but I just might be.
That’s crazy.
Going out on a Saturday is a rare occurrence for me. Most of the time I’m curled up on the couch with a pizza, binge-watching series in my pajamas.
From homebody to interstellar explorer. How fast things can change!
I glance at Romulus. I nearly lost him there… or at least, I thought I did. I never felt such a frenzy, such a panic before.
Am I warming up to the gruff alien warrior?
No. Right? Maybe.
He’ll have to lower his guard to win me over, but perhaps this mission won’t be so bad after all…
His hands are glued to the stick, deftly maneuvering us up towards the Elban ship… and right past it.
Wait, what?
“Where are you going?”
“Saturn.”
I look at the gigantic swirling mass in front of us. Big doesn’t begin to describe how massive the gas-giant is. It’s enormous. Almost beyond comprehension when you’re barreling down towards it.
And that’s what we’re doing.
“What? Are you insane?”
Romulus grins.
“Yes.”
“Take me back.”
“No.”
“Not a question. Take me back. Now.”
“No.”
Saturn grows bigger by the second. Our entire field of vision is now filled by the planet, threatening to swallow us whole.
“Can this shuttle even sustain the pressure?!” I ask.
My earlier calm has gone out of the window, along with any short-lived belief that this mission was going to turn out okay.
I’m at the mercy of a maniac with a death wish.
“Only one way to find out.”
Oh hell no.
I grab the control stick, surprising Romulus, wrestling it from his grasp. The shuttle lurches to the side as I pull up with all my might.
My grip lasts for a good whole two seconds.
Romulus grabs my wrists and lifts them above my head with ease. I’m dangling helplessly in the air, cursing at the alien.
“Never grab my stick,” he growls.
“I don’t want your stick,” I spit back. “Now let me go!”
He leans in, his eyes locked onto mine, his face so close I can feel his breath on my skin, tickling me, and my lips part ever so slightly…
“Then why are you so wet?” he growls.
My eyes dart towards the window. Saturn’s grows ever closer. I can now see the the massive storms raging on the surface threatening to rip our shuttle to shreds. My heart races, the pit in my stomach growing — and Romulus is concerned with my wetness?
“What are you talking about?!”
“Don’t play dumb with me,” he growls. He drags his thumb across my bottom lip, and I have to suppress a soft groan.
Why is my body responding this way?
I hate this guy.
He’s going to get us both killed.
He’s a violent, dominant alien killer.
So why am I so damn wet?!
It must be the fear. The overwhelming fear of being ripped apart in a mega-storm.
Yes. I don’t actually want the cocky jerk to choke me while he fucks me. That’s just my survival instinct playing tricks on me.
“I see the way you look at me.”
“And what way is that?” I say. “Furious? Cause you got that right!”
“Sinful.”
His forehead is nearly pressing against mine, his lips so close that all he needs to do is lean in to kiss me.
“Don’t flatter yourself,” I say.
He presses one hand against my neck. I close my eyes and try to swallow the lump in my throat, whimpering underneath his massive, overpowering strength.
My body is betraying me.
“Don’t lie to me,” he growls. “I don’t tolerate lying.”
“I don’t tolerate assholes!”
I swing with my foot for his package with all my strength. I connect, and he drops me out of sheer surprise.
A second later, his expression shifts from surprise to pure anger.
Oh fuck.
I enraged the beast.
He grabs my neck again before I can dart away, much stronger this time, cutting off my air supply.
“You have no honor,” he growls. “I will punish you!”
In one swift motion he sits down on his captain’s chair and pulls me across his lap. Before I realize what’s happening, his hand already connects.
Slap!
The sound of his flat palm striking my ass echoes off the shuttle’s walls. Heat rises to my cheeks, and indignation fill every fiber of my being.
Along with unbridled arousal that I desperately try to suppress.
“You’re going to get us killed!” I shout.
I don’t intend to die while being disciplined. I can’t think of anything more humiliating. That’s the last thing I want in my obituary.
“In a cruel twist of fate, the moment Alexa Oakley realized she had a submissive side to her, the shuttle’s walls gave way and she asphyxiated to death in the vacuum of space, before Saturn’s violent storms and intense pressure ripped her body to shreds. She will be missed.”
Yeah. Not happening.
It would be ironic to die from asphyxiation right after I realize that being choked is kinda hot. That’d be just my luck….
“Stop it!” I scream, trying to wrestle myself from Romulus’s grasp, but he’s got a tight hold on me.
“I’m only just getting started,” he says.
His voice is thick with lust, and through his suit, I can feel a hardness press against my stomach.
Fuck.
Another strike hits me, and a ripple of pain, mixed with pleasure, courses through my veins.
I got a glimpse of his alien cock that morning, when his robe wasn’t fully tied. I’ve been unable to put it out of my mind since.
It’s hard to forget something so big.
Slap!
My cheeks grow red — both sets of them. My breathing grows heavy, and my mind feels clouded, foggy. With every strike, a bit of anger seeps away, replaced by, well, to be perfectly honest, lust.
The shuttle rocks back and forth, the metal groaning, and it feels like the ship is about to crack, like the walls are about to give way, denting and rupturing underneath the massive pressure, and we’ll be crushed to bits.
I ought to be scared to death, but the firm hand striking my ass every two seconds is making it harder and harder to focus.
“S-stop,” I pant. “Stop!”
Romulus slips one hand over my mouth, muffling my protests. My eyes roll to the back of my head, my teeth sinking into his skin as he spanks me.
“You want it,” he whispers. “I can smell your arousal.”
Yes.
I don’t want to admit it, but I do.
I want it.
I never knew a man taking complete control of me would have this wanton effect on me, but it does.
And now, I don’t want him to stop.
“Ask for it,” Romulus growls as he removes his hand from my mouth.
A thrill runs down my spine, and my core throbs with arousal.
He can’t be serious.
Isn’t spanking me already enough? He’s got me where he wants me, unable to resist him… but no, he wants more.
He wants me to ask for it.
Beg for it.
Fuck.
“N-no,” I stammer.
My pussy is furious with me, but she’ll just have to deal with it. I’m certain Romulus’s cock can fill me up perfectly, but I’m not begging for it.
Not yet.
Slap!
He strikes my ass once again, and a wanton moan slips out.
Damn it.
“See?” Romulus says, his palm now rubbing my sore ass. “You want it. Why do you resist?”
“I w
ill not b-beg,” I say. “Never.”
I’m too proud for that. I’ve never needed a man.
I’m not about to start now.
“We’ll see about that.”
He unzips my suit. My hearts starts racing even faster as I feel his hands touch my cold, naked back.
He’s undressing me.
He’s going to take me.
Right here. Right now.
It’s really happening.
My first time.
A blaring alarm breaks the spell. The shuttle lurches to to the side, and we both tumble over. Romulus lands on top of me, his body on mine, his weight pressing down on me.
Our gaze meet, and I see his eyes are filled with animalistic lust…
“Alert! Hull critical! Alert!”
The alien rises up in an instant and grabs the control stick, pulling up with all his might.
I climb to my feet and zip my suit back up, my legs still wobbling. The walls of the shuttle are groaning, bending, denting, and fear grips my heart.
“What’s happening?!” I ask.
“We’ve gone too deep,” Romulus growls as he mashes on buttons. “I’m giving her all we got.”
“Is it enough?”
“It has to be.”
I stand behind Romulus, my arms automatically slipping around his shoulders. Perhaps it’s strange to say after he nearly ravished me a moment ago, but I feel safer when I’m touching him. I thought I knew myself inside and out, but the Elban warrior can still teach me a thing or two…
“Come on,” I whisper under my breath. “Come on.”
We’re in the middle of a storm, with absolutely zero visibility. The ship is pummeled left and right, like a leaf in a hurricane, subjected to its every whim.
The shuttle tilts painstakingly slow… but it tilts.
“Yes,” Romulus growls. “Work with me, you heap of junk. Fly!”
The groaning of the metal lessens and lessens, after after a few terrifying minutes, stops completely.
Romulus throws his head back and sighs deeply. I gaze down at him, my hands resting on his chest.
“I told you so,” I say. “You almost got us killed, you dolt.”
He opens his eyes and smirks at me.
“Almost being the key word there.”
What happens next is electric.
He reaches up, grabs the back of my neck and pulls me down. Before I realize what’s happening…
He kisses me.
His grip is tight, not giving me a single chance to escape.
