But it was too late. I’d already leaped up and brought my weapon up to strike the mech, figuring the shield breaker would take effect like that. Only, before I was half-way there a pulse went out like a shockwave, catching me and throwing me backwards. If not for my own shield and upgraded stats, I imagine my bones would’ve been crushed by the impact with the wall behind me. Instead, I just felt like someone had pounded me with a sack of potatoes a few times. It hurt, but wasn’t serious.
“You with us?” Threed asked, charging up next to me, or maybe it was one of her replicas. There were two more in the fight, so how was I to know?
“Good, yeah,” I said, shaking my head. The world shifted as I stood, then spun, but then I pulled myself back together and was back in the fight.
“It was smart thinking,” Navani said, taking one of the mechs’ legs out of commission with a perfectly aimed shot. “But not if they’re expecting you.”
“Try this on for size,” Sakurai said though the comms, and then came running up behind me. “Ready to try again?”
“I don’t think—” I started to protest, but she grabbed me around the waist and winked.
“Wait for it,” she said. “Wait… and trust.”
The second mech came at us, charging around so as not to leave its back exposed to Navani. Sakurai pulled me right into the mech’s path—certain death.
“Hold tight!” Sakurai said, and then we were gone, instantly reappearing behind the mech as it charged past. My mind took a second to process that she’d used her power to bring us here. She’d have to have been in this spot, and was waiting for the mech to get close enough, and then brought me with her. Genius! But it didn’t mean a damn thing if I didn’t act, and fast.
So I threw myself at the mech, shooting twice before jumping and grabbing hold of the chassis. Sakurai was there, too, light bursting forth from her sword taking on the shape of a dragon that struck out at the mech’s legs. I brought my blaster up and then down twice before the mech’s shield shattered, and then I was pushing off, flying back as the shock wave went out again. It turned to fire on me, but Sacrada hit it with one of her sun bursts at the same time as Navani opened up on it—the bastard didn’t stand a chance.
Meanwhile, more of the mechs had started heading our way. The pilot from the downed one was out and running, using thrusters to make good speed.
“Forget him,” Nyoka said, and I had to wonder where they hell she’d been hiding during the fight. Then again, it was probably smart of her—to join us would’ve meant our one lead could’ve died.
When she motioned us toward a building nearby, we followed. The last thing we needed was to be stuck in a fight with that army of mini-mechs while the Blue Lady disappeared. Nyoka stopped to check her hunt-vision twice, but nodded in confirmation and kept leading us up and up as the sounds of war continued outside.
Finally we piled out onto the rooftop, where metal contorted and turned our way in the form of spikes jutting out of the roof and stopping us in our tracks. We didn’t know where to fire or who the enemy was, but then I heard the others gasp and saw them looking to my left.
There she was in all her glory—the blue lady. She looked different in person—stronger, more intimidating. Her curves and the blowing cloth against her skin added a new level of sexy that couldn’t quite be captured in the images and video I’d seen of her so far.
And her dark blue eyes were very much like Navani’s, but more like a sheen of blue had been laid over her regular eyes. She stared at me intensely, waiting.

“Who do we have here?” the Blue Lady asked, eyes roaming across me. At least, I thought they did, though then she was assessing my group, and I wondered if it had been my imagination. “Don’t worry, the enemy can’t see us with the barrier I’ve created. Speak up.”
“They want to help you,” Nyoka said. “And I have the vision of the hunt. We can help you get your target.”
The Blue Lady assessed her and gave an approving nod as she turned, motioning us to follow her through a door and down the stairs.
“I understand you’ve met my brother,” I blurted out, hoping to avoid diving right into the whole prophesy deal.
Her eyes were back on me and it was like a warm blanket had been pulled over my shoulders. Odd, as I would’ve thought the sensation would feel more like ice, what with her blue look. Too many of my brother’s films playing in the background of our lives growing up, I guess.
“I come across many people,” she said, then opened the next door and led us into a large, cement room. “How would I know which is your brother?”
“On the prison ship,” I replied. “Chad, or, I guess they’re calling him Breaker now. You helped him at the end there, just before he contributed to blowing it up.”
“Ah, the cute one.” She allowed a slight grin, which caught me off guard. She was so dark and mysterious, it didn’t fit. Neither did referring to my brother as the cute one. He’d always been the nerdy one, or maybe the awkward one. “So you’re his brother. That still doesn’t answer the question.”
It was bothering me that she’d smiled when thinking about him, but frowned when addressing me, but I managed to ignore it as I said, “We understand you’re planning on going after the Leader. We want to help.
“And in exchange?”
“In exchange…” I glanced over to my ladies for help, but they were all grinning, apparently amused by the idea of me answering this. “Well, see, the way I understand it is you’re one of the half-sisters—”
“Fuck you.”
“What?”
“You want me to fuck you? In exchange for you working with me to find this son of a bitch, you want me to fuck you until hopefully—though all chances say it won’t happen—I get pregnant. Although I don’t know any of you and am glad to say that’s the case, I’m familiar with the prophesy.”
“Meaning… you’re in?” Threed asked.
The Blue Lady laughed. “Of course not. What kind of stupid… oh, wait. You’re all doing exactly that, aren’t you?”
“Kinda, or on our way… all except her,” Sacrada said, pointing to Nyoka who was looking at us with confusion. “She’s a carpet muncher.”
“And not a sister,” Threed pointed out. She nodded to Sacrada and Sakurai, adding, “These two haven’t jumped on board yet, but they’re tentatively in.”
“At least with stopping Ranger,” Sacrada said. “The rest, we’ll see.”
The Blue Lady nodded, then sniffled. “Ranger… My fight isn’t with him.”
“But it’s with others who serve him,” Sacrada stated. “Others who, when he learns you’ve taken them out, will mean he’ll target you. In a way, you’re as much his enemy as any of us, maybe more so soon, at least in his eyes.”
“The whole prophesy thing is absurd,” the Blue Lady said. “But you make valid points. I will join with you to fight our shared enemies, as long as it’s convenient for me.” She turned to me, frowning. “What’s with you two brothers? He was a complete slut, too.”
“To be fair, I’m trying to help produce an offspring that will save the universe,” I pointed out. “And Chad’s promiscuity is as much a surprise to me as anyone, probably more so.”
“Apparently he gets powers by bodily fluid swap,” she said, “and your excuse is… that you’re trying to birth a savior?” She laughed, shaking her head. “Whatever gets these ladies in the bed, sure. Just don’t try that shit on me.”
Even though the words left her mouth, as she turned to lead the way out of there, I felt her words lingering. They were accompanied by a crushing blow that killed any fantasies I’d had about bringing her into the bed with the rest of us.
“Don’t worry, Navani will convince her,” Threed said, stepping over to me as the others started to follow the Blue Lady. “And if it’s just about getting off to her,” she made a jacking off motion, “I’ve got you covered, buddy.”
I laughed and shook my head. “No, it can’t be abou
t that for me. I know this is bigger.”
“Not much is bigger,” she said with a wink, though comments like that were always a bit of a compliment and an insult, in a patronizing sense.
“We need to focus.”
“I am focused,” she countered, and then reached over and cupped my balls. “Focused right here, right where I need to be.”
I had to admit that sounded a lot better than running back into a warzone, but I had to take her hand away. Holding it, I looked into her mismatched eyes and said, “When we’re back on the ship, believe me, I’m all in for trying again. But can we try to stay alive until then?”
“What if you were to die out there and you never had that last chance, hmm?” She nodded for us to leave and said, “Say you have to go to the bathroom. Real quick, while they figure out the plans. I’ll be waiting.”
I was about to argue, when she slipped off. Huh. I mean, it wasn’t like I didn’t want to. My soldier was certainly at attention after her touch and invitation.
“Sakurai,” I said, since she was in the back. “Can I… go downstairs to find a bathroom?”
She nodded, apparently barely paying any attention. I slipped back inside and down the stairs. I turned the corner to find Threed at an open door. It wasn’t to the bathroom, but a small armory. It would work. Threed shoved me in, already kneeling as she pulled off her outfit. Her pink, erect nipples made me totally not regret this decision as she knelt and pulled out my cock, stroking it, fast and hard. So hard, in fact, it was pulling on the skin in each direction and I thought I’d be raw in a few heartbeats.
“Shit, that hurts,” I admitted.
“Just prepping the pump, baby,” she replied, and then thrust it into her mouth, grabbing me by the ass so that I was skull-fucking the hell out of her. At first I didn’t know what to make of it, but then I remembered we didn’t have much time, and this was Threed, after all. She could take it, and probably loved it the more insane it was. After two thrusts I grabbed her by her tuft of pink hair on top of her head and went at it. She gagged and I tried to pull out, but she dug her nails into my ass and pulled me deeper so that my whole cock was in her mouth, tears in her eyes.
When she could tell I was troubled, she pulled it out said, “Oh, suck it up, buttercup. Would we be here if I wasn’t loving this shit?”
“I…”
“No.” She rolled her eyes, stood and wrapped a leg around me, and then blinked so that there was a replica of herself behind me. The replica grabbed my dick and helped guide it into the real Threed, then started kissing my back while still reaching in to fondle my balls as I started thrusting with Threed.
At one point, the replica even got up behind me and helped me support Threed’s weight so that she was just popping up and down on my cock, yelping, doing her best to not be heard outside of the armory. She wrapped her arms around me, tight, and breathed out heavily into my ear as her whole body clenched, and then it was my turn. I was glad to have the replica there to help me keep my balance, because I certainly would’ve fallen as my legs locked up and I came.
It was over, and Threed dismissed her replica, staring at me with hungry eyes.
“Now that’s what I call a quickie,” she said, then pulled up a screen from her wrist. “Yup, about a minute and thirty seconds.”
“What? Bullshit.”
She laughed. “From the moment of penetration to finish, yeah. Seemed like longer, huh?”
“I lost track of time, honestly.”
“Good thing though,” she pointed out as she found some gun-cleaning cloths that were relatively clean and used it to catch whatever cum wasn’t staying in her. “They’re probably wondering how long it takes you to take a piss.”
“Right,” I replied with a chuckle, but then frowned. “Honestly, this was stupid, wasn’t it? I mean, irresponsible. At a time like this, to—”
“I’m going to stop you right there, stallion,” she said, starting to dress. She tossed the nasty rag over her shoulder, ignoring where it landed. “Think about it—the entire universe rests on our ability to make a baby. At least, according to this prophesy, or strategy, or whatever you want to call it. Okay, if we make that assumption, we’re being reckless every second we’re not fucking.”
“I… guess.”
“Hey, you have to think smart here,” she said. “Plus, the feel of that cock in me? Fu—uckkkk. Don’t try to deny me that. When a woman needs it, she needs it.”
I laughed and nodded, dressing as well. We hurried to the door and I went out first, only to find them around a strategy table in discussion. Nyoka turned to us and grinned, and suddenly I wasn’t so sure our little romp had gone undetected.
“One of my powers is recent sight, as I call it. Basically, someone I’ve recently come into contact with, I can flash my mind to where they just were, and kind of see them in a three-quarters overhead view. Why I think I can find the Leader… and why we know exactly what you were up to.”
Sacrada gave me a look that seemed either let down or jealous, while Sakurai had a mischievous smile, like she was already planning my next quickie, as soon as her sister wasn’t looking. Immediately after I’d saved her sister, the woman had been all about smiling and flirting… for a few minutes, anyway.
“Just doing our duty,” Threed said, entering behind me but having apparently heard all. “If I need to pull him aside to ride that D, you better believe I will. Hell, you all are kinda being selfish bitches not doing the same, though I’m not sure he’ll have enough energy after I’m done with him.”
I grinned, not knowing what to say here.
“Yes, well,” the Blue Lady looked up from her table, glaring my way. “While we were being selfish bitches over here, we figured out a plan of attack. You two ready, or should we wait around while you go back for seconds?”
“Drew?” Threed said, turning to me with a hopeful smile.
“Um, I don’t think she was serious,” I said.
“I definitely was not,” the Blue Lady said, and then swiped her hand up to display the surrounding area to us. “According to what Nyoka here has told me, this is the area where we can find the leader. Unfortunately, I’m getting a reading from there that tells me Nihilists are involved. Heavy interference. We need to check it out to be sure, but it appears he has their help. The unfortunate part of this story is that it means I might need your help. Specifically, yours, Drew.” She turned to me with a raised eyebrow. “I hope that won’t mean payment in sexual favors will be due.”
“Nobody does that,” I countered, annoyed at the implication. “You’re making me out to be some sleezebag.”
“Aren’t you, in a sense?”
“They came to me!” I shouted, wishing I wasn’t losing my cool, but getting pissed nonetheless. Maybe she’d hit a nerve, brought up something I’d been worrying about myself. “Put yourself in my shoes—superheroes are not only real, but suddenly show up asking me to help save their universe, and present a way that involves very, no, extremely beyond belief hot women sleeping with me. And, it turns out, my powers are fueled by intimacy, in a sense. Proximity to others, but especially intimacy such as what just happened. Oh, nobody told you that part? Yeah, thanks to our little one minute and thirty seconds quickie, I’m now ready to take down the bad guys like you wouldn’t believe. So don’t get on my case, lady.”
Her expression hadn’t changed once during my little monologue, but as soon as I was done she smiled, said, “Are you done yet?” And when I nodded, added, “Good, because I didn’t know that part about your powers. If I had, I’d have told you and your little sex posse here to get it on immediately. We’re going to war, ladies and gentleman, so if you all need to stroke his cock for good luck, get to fucking stroking. Am I clear?”
Sacrada cleared her throat. “It’s not exactly how it—”
“I don’t actually care,” the Blue Lady interrupted, and Sakurai was staring at her with wide, adoring eyes, apparently loving this whole exchange. “What I do care
about, is that we’re all in tip top shape, and that we’re ready to roll out before this bastard makes an escape. Now, any questions?”
“Actually,” I said, stepping forward. “I get that we can’t say his name, but can someone at least tell me what his powers are, so that I know what we’re going up against?”
She sighed, letting the anger out of her, and then motioned to Nyoka.
“Yes,” the snake changer said, then stood tall, hands behind her back. “Essentially, if you say his name he has the opportunity to summon you, but can also see your present surroundings before doing so.”
“And that’s so bad?” I asked. “We’d be there with him.”
“Not all of us,” she pointed out. “Only the one who said his name, and only if he wants. Making it a trap on our end would be tough, but he can summon you to the anywhere he is. Say he wants you to appear inside the rock he’s standing next to—done. A statue of a bull over flames? Done. So yeah, not something you want.”
“Damn,” I said, rubbing my chin.
“This is where we’re going,” the Blue Lady said, indicating the spot on her map. “So last chances to stroke this guy’s cock or rub a fat person’s belly for luck or whatever you freaks do.”
“Hey,” Sakurai protested. “I’m not a freak.” At a glance from her sister, she said, “Oh, yeah, I guess… it’s all relative.”
“Drew?” the Blue Lady asked.
“I’m good,” I said, feeling the powers surge in me, in spite of my raw dick.
She glanced down and laughed, shaking her head. “I suppose it makes sense that you and your brother would have powers related to intimacy and sex, considering your parents.”
“You knew them?” Sacrada asked.
The Blue Lady nodded. “Knew of them is the better way to say it, but I met their mother when she came to my village. Her powers allowed three of the women there to become pregnant.”
Having never met my biological mom, I had no idea aside from what I’d heard, but felt proud of her regardless. Any woman who went around helping others to be fertile had to be up there in sainthood, right?
