About the Author
Janet Dawson has written ten books about Oakland private eye Jeri Howard, including Kindred Crimes, winner of the St. Martin’s Press/Private Eye Writers of America contest for Best First PI Novel, and a nominee for several Best First awards. Her most recent Jeri Howard book is Bit Player, which was nominated for a Golden Nugget award for Best California Mystery.
Dawson has also written two stand-alone mystery novels, plus a number of short stories, including a Shamus nominee and a Macavity winner.
