Amy: *She shook her head, as if their business didn't concern her.* "Let's go, Blake."
Blake: *His eyes widened in shock.* "We haff to warn Bell."
Amy: "Bell?"
Blake: *He nodded his head, listening to the swaying trees around him.* "We shouldn't ignore it."
Amy: "Or, we shouldn't get into their business." *She spoke in a mature-like manner and tugged Blake away, causing her tattered dress to sway.*
Blake: "She was kind to me." *He pulled his hand away and suddenly ran deep into the forest, ensuring Jeremy and Chris didn't see him.*
Amy: *She watched Blake run out of her sight, causing her to frown.* "You only knew her for a day! You can't judge someone from a day's worth of experience!"
*Amy gasped as if she knew something was wrong and wanted to look behind her, but was afraid to do so.*
Jeremy: "So, who are you?" *He stood behind Amy and smirked.* "Y'know?" *He tried to get an answer from her.*
Amy: "..." (What do I do? What do I say?)
Jeremy: *He observed Amy, noticing her homeless-like appearance.* "Y'probably can't even talk, whoahohoho."
Amy: "..."
Chris: *He stood behind Jeremy, as if he was trying to hide his face from Amy.* "I smell the scent of another."
Jeremy: "You Scoldrant Users, whoaho." *He chuckled the words and tilted his head, as if he was focusing on Chris.* "Where?"
Chris: "The scent is that way." *He nudged his head towards the deeper part of the forest.*
Jeremy: *He shrugged his shoulders in a smug-like manner.* "It's probably nothing, y'know."
Chris: *He flared his nose and continued to sniff.* "The sweat, whoever it is, is nervous."
Jeremy: *He double checked the direction and leant back with an intrigued sigh.* (That's the direction to the village..)
--
*Blake tapped his foot on the side of the Scoldrant, causing it to glide very close to the snow covered ground.*
Blake: "Every story has a beginning and an end.." *He watched the snow pulse away with each flap of the Scoldrant's wings, as he flipped off of it and onto the ground.*
*Blake glanced at the Scoldrant and waved his hand across, causing the tribal-like markings to disappear off it.*
Scoldrant: "Meeeheeehee!" *It instantly leant away from Blake, as if it had regained its senses.*
Blake: "Like, wat are you doing?"
Scoldrant: "Meehehe!" *It sneezed in fear and started to back away.*
Blake: "It looked at me like.. The way I looked at them..."
--
*Blake ran through the forest in a girl-like manner, whimpering with a slight sense of determination.*
Blake: "I haff to tell you, Bell-" *He ran into a clearing and noticed an empty space on the ground, as if something heavy was moved.* "Where-?"
?????: "What are you looking for?"
Blake: *He turned around with a gasp, noticing Jeremy leaning against a tree in a smug-like manner.* "Jeramee."
Jeremy: "What do you have to tell, Bella?" *He leant off the tree and took a step forward.*
Blake: "N-Noffing." *He shook his head to help emphasise his words.*
Jeremy: "That's good. She likes you.. It would be a shame if something were to happen to you. Y'know what I'm saying?" *He circled around Blake in an intimidating-like manner.*
Blake: (I need to stick up for myself-) "I'm not afraid of you."
Jeremy: "Why? Why should you be?"
Blake: "Bell told me about Scoldrant Users and Rostical Users."
Jeremy: "She did?" *He stood behind Blake and raised his right arm and made glyphic inspired motions with his left hand.*
Blake: (Quiet?) *He stepped to the side to turn around.* "Why did you make such an agreement wiff-"
Jeremy: "Shaman Verdict-Vines." *Small dark brown coloured vines shot up from the ground, wrapping themselves around Blake's right arm and neck.*
Blake: *He gasped with widening eyes, terrified.* "H-How-?"
Blake: (I remember being, like, scared shitless. When you ain't familiar with Rostical, it can seem like the scariest thing.)
Jeremy: "For Bella's sake, I wouldn't do anything silly." *He implied to Blake to not give him any grief.* "Y'know what I'm saying?"
Blake: *He slowly nodded his head.* "Y-Yes."
Jeremy: *He smiled and lowered his arms, causing the vines to sway back into the ground.* "I'm protecting her, it's cool."
Blake: "..."
Jeremy: "Leave it to me, okay?" *He smiled and readied to leave.*
Blake: "Yes."
Blake: (I still remember that dickhead's fake ass smile, aye.)
Jeremy: "Now get out of here. It's dangerous around here."
Blake: "R-Right!"
--
Blake: "Then.. That night.. That crazy night.." *He walked through the snow, listening to the snow cushion under his feet.*
*Blake shivered and hugged himself, before standing on the spot.*
Blake: "This random unsexy flashback, I can't even, like, fink properly." *He focused and the falling snow around him swayed away.*
*Blake smiled at himself and shivered as if he was no longer cold.*
Blake: "Just pulse some Neurons and increase the Astragons around you, can't feel a fing." *He hissed under his breath in accomplishment.*
*Blake looked up towards a cave-like entrance with a metallic door sealing it.*
Blake: "I dunno why that Scoldrant attacked us when we were younger, even killing one of the bullies-" *He leant forward with each step, as it started to slope upwards.* "They blamed me?"
*Blake sighed and dropped to his knees, digging his fingers into the snow.*
Blake: "When you live multiple lifetimes, you lose track of time.. Not sure how long had passed, but there were hardly any kids left.. That night, Chris-"
--
*Blake slept on a sheet of wood which acted as a bed, trying to keep warm with a single thin blanket.*
Blake: (It was hard to sleep under those conditions. People really take simple things for granted, like a bed..)
*A loud rumbling crack woke Blake up from his sleep, causing him to roll out of bed, scratching his arm with a splinter.*
Blake: "W-What-? Purge?!" *He squealed out loud and failed to hear anything, cueing him to leave the small room.*
*Sounds of wood snapping echoed and another large crash-like sound filled Blake with caution.*
Blake: "Purge?" *He squealed out, trying to be oblivious to the commotion outside.*
*Blake shuffled his feet out of the room and glanced across the small cottage-like house.*
Blake: (Empty?) *He stumbled to the front door and paused.*
Blake: (We weren't allowed to leave the house at night. Fufufu, it's funny how simple rules like that can really trap and restrict your sense of judgement.)
Blake: *He held his breath and stepped outside, noticing black smoke coming from destroyed houses.* "What-?"
*A man covered in burns and blood ran in front of Blake, instantly noticing him.*
Fodder Man: "Did you conspire with him?!" *He shouted angrily at Blake.*
Blake: "W-Who?"
Fodder Man: "Everything is destroyed and it's your fault!" *He focused towards his hand, drawing Blake's attention towards a pitchfork.*
Blake: *He stumbled back into the house.* "No-"
*A woman ran into sight, crying hysterically, catching the man's attention.*
Fodder Woman: "He killed almost everyone in the village with a warrior! They ran into the forest!"
Fodder Man: "What about the children? We had a deal!"
Fodder Woman: "Purge and Amy have also disappeared in the forest-"
*Blake suddenly ran past the man and the woman, making his way directly towards the forest.*
Fodder Man: *He raised the pitchfork and readied to run after Blake.* "He worked with that Scoldrant User and warrior scum-"
Fodder Woman: "You shouldn't talk about the warriors like that.. What if they-" *She covered her b
lood soaked hand.* "Neurons forbid, send a captain?"
Fodder Man: "I.. Don't know."
Fodder Woman: "We also need your assets in helping the remaining that haven't died."
Fodder Man: *He spat on the ground with emotion and sighed, as if he understood what the woman was saying.* "Take me to them."
--
Blake: (I don't know what possessed me like that. Maybe hearing about the two closest people in my life-) *He purposely blew out a stream of mist.* (Possibly be in trouble? I had no idea what was happening, but apparently Chris with the help of a warrior attacked the orphanage.)
--
*Blake listened to his girly, whimper-ish breathing, as he ran through the darkening forest.*
Blake: "Purge?! Amy?!"
*Blake squealed and continued to run deeper into the forest.*
Blake: (I've never been this far out-)
?????: "Psshtaha." *A woman giggled, causing Blake to sigh in relief.*
Blake: "Bell! It's Jeramee! He's a bad guy!" *He ran towards the sound of the laughter.* "I'm not sure what's happening, but he's bad! Chris, his friend attacked the orphanage! And-"
*Blake ran past several trees and stared at a blue, mushroom-shaped bush.*
Blake: *He stared at the mushrooms in confusion.* "The bush is lauffing like Bell?"
?????: "Interesting, y'know?" *A man's voice echoed from the darkness, causing Blake to turn around.*
Blake: "Jeramee." *He whispered on his breath.*
Jeremy: "Ratting me out when you've got no proof whatsoever?"
Blake: (In a way, he was kinda rite.)
Blake: "I-I know it was you!"
Jeremy: "Perhaps I should just keep you quiet?"
Blake: (I knew he freaked me out, but I didn't, like, know the danger I was in, aye.)
Blake: *He focused back to the plant that continued to laugh like Isabella.* "But-?"
Jeremy: "Whoahohoho, you really don't know anything, do yer? That's a Hummingtrace Shrub."
Blake: "Hummingtrace Shrub?"
Jeremy: "This plant has the ability to trace sounds by fluctuating the Astragons it absorbs in the air."
Blake: "So, it's fake?" *He whispered on his breath, full of innocence.*
Jeremy: "Whoahhohoho, yeah, buddy, it's not Bella."
Blake: "How does it trace-?"
Jeremy: "It does it to lure insects-" *He spoke with a loss of concentration, as he kept himself hidden in the darkness.*
Blake: "Come out!"
Jeremy: "Flora of the North, I feel the restrictions of your wrath and I shall bring that forth, Soul Link pull towards me, Shaman Verdict-Vines."
Blake: (His voice echoed, why?) *A sharp spear-like swirl of dark brown vines shot up from the ground, violently wrapping themselves around Blake's hands.*
Jeremy: "I can channel my Neurons into the vines, I feel one of them has penetrated your bone." *He stepped out from the darkness and smiled smug-like at Blake.*
Blake: (It hurt so much, it was unbelievable. I couldn't break free.)
Blake: *He watched blood run down his arm, causing him to squeal in terror.* "Help me! Help!"
Jeremy: *He smirked and looked up through the cracks of the trees, staring at the full moon with a smug-like smirk.* "You're in the middle of nowhere, at night.. Nobody is helping you, y'know what I'm saying?"
Blake: (Seeing the blood.. I was powerless, helpless. I was just some kid who had no sense of self-worth, but seeing that blood, it made me feel something I've never realised I felt.. And that feeling was-..)
Jeremy: "Time to kill you, Bella will never find out, whoahhohohoohoho."
Blake: *He watched the vines slowly crawl up his arm, tightening its grip around his small thin arms.* (It's going to break-)
Jeremy: "Whoahhohoho!" *He continued to laugh, as if he knew Blake couldn't break free.*
Blake: (And that feeling was, to live!)
Blake: "No!" *He squealed at the top of his lungs and the vines suddenly separated in a spiral manner from his arm and shot towards Jeremy.*
Jeremy: "Wha?" *His smiled faded, as he forcefully leapt to the side, watching the vines stab themselves into the ground.* ".. How?"
*Jeremy looked confused and fell backwards onto the ground, due to the sheer shock and confusion.*
Jeremy: "My vines? Are you a Fore Hunter, too?" *He glanced at Blake and noticed his shocked face.* (He's just as confused as I am?)
Blake: *He focused his attention to his blood covered arm and stepped back, as if he was trying to run from his own arm.* "W-What happened?"
Jeremy: *He coughed and looked serious, regaining his composure.* "I'm not sure what happened? Maybe I forgot to channel Neurons into the vines?"
*Jeremy shrugged his shoulders and waved his hand towards the vines, noticing tribal-like marks on them.*
Jeremy: "What the Neurons are they?"
Blake: *He started to cry, as he wiped his arm on the ground, trying to hide the blood.* "It hurts! It hurts!"
Jeremy: "He's.. Taken control of my vines?" *He mumbled to himself in shock, before frowning in denial.* "Impossible!"
Blake: "It keeps coming out! It won't stop!"
Jeremy: *He ignored Blake's squeals, as he continued to inspect the vines.* (I don't sense or smell the amount of Neurons and Astragons needed in his body to produce Rostical. He isn't an Elementalist, or the vines would have reacted to his natural purity. He can't be a Diareamer or he could've just Astral Projected into the village. He can't be an Astraseeker, or he would've foreseen this happening. He can't be a Scoldrant User, I don't sense his Soul Link-)
*Jeremy paused in realisation and slowly glanced at Blake, watching him whimper in the dirt.*
Jeremy: (My vines are the Astral source of my Scoldrant's Neurons and Astragons. Fore Hunters use a different method than regular Scoldrant Users, but it's still a simple Soul Link. He manipulated my vines, but not the vines itself? He didn't control the Neurons or manipulated the Astragons-) *His eyes widened in disbelief.* (He took ownership of the Soul Link!)
Blake: (I feel weak.. I can't feel my fingertips and I want to collapse.)
Jeremy: (As a Fore Hunter, we know about all different classes and this ability, it's a trait to the higher up Scoldrant Users!) *He frowned and faced Blake, waving his hand to the side.*
