Now, Sierra felt horrible. "I'm sorry, baby," she reached out and pulled him towards her. Pressing her lips against his, they shared a quick kiss. "I'm really sorry. I'll make it up to you," she promised.
Ethan gripped her ass and lifted Sierra on to the exam table. Seeing her nearly naked, turned him on right away.
When she started to protest, he shut her up with his lips. Sierra kissed him back with the same ferocity. Ethan's intentions were clear. She could feel his package pressed against her leg, begging to be released from the interior of his jeans.
She missed being with him in this way. Lately, they avoided too much physical contact because things would get heated too fast between them. She hated turning her husband down but wanted to be sure that her body was ready. She was indeed ready, but now wasn't the time nor place.
"Ethan, we can't do this," she moaned. He was in the process of sucking on her neck. Damn, it felt amazing. She wanted him. No doubt about it, but she was worried about them getting caught in the room.
"Yes, we can. I ran into Dr. Binder, and she said you're good to go."
"I doubt she meant right now."
"Well, I'm getting it right now," he stated while pulling her bra down. Sierra moaned again when he wrapped his tongue around her nipple. On impulse, she held his head and arched her back to give him better access.
"What if we get caught?" At the doctor's office? Could they really do this? Public sex turned her on, but this was a different situation.
"I don't give a fuck; I've been waiting to be inside of you. If someone comes in, I tell them to get their ass out."
Ethan stepped back and pulled her underwear off. Sierra stared with large eyes as her husband dropped his jeans and boxers to reveal his erection. Ethan became a predator as he stalked back towards her. She was anxiously waiting and welcomed him with open arms.
He lifted Sierra from the table and carried her over to the wall.
"This is going to go hard and fast," he admitted. "Later, I'll take my time and satisfy every nook and cranny of your body. I hope you slept well, because it's going to be a long day for you."
Sierra's body tingled with excitement. As he held her against the wall, she didn't hesitate to wrap her legs around his. Just as Ethan was about to ease into her, the door opened.
"Go. Away!" They shouted together. The door shut instantly.
"You ready?"
Sierra nodded her repeatedly. "Hell, yes."
Ethan slammed his dick inside her without hesitating. They groaned in pleasure together. "Damn, you feel amazing. I love this pussy," he stated huskily. His head was positioned against her breast as he made the statement. He wished he was home, so he could have more time to be inside of her. He stayed still for a moment, just to absorb the feel of his wife.
It had been too long of a wait.
"Really? I was worried that it wouldn't be the same."
"It's not the same, it’s better," Ethan stated as he started to pump inside of her.
Loud moans filled the room as they made fast and feverish love. Ethan covered her mouth with his to muffle to sounds, but it didn't help. Sierra was sure that the staff could hear them. She didn't know how long they were going at it, but, once again, she didn't care. Ethan was hypnotizing her with his dick.
Someone could come inside the room and slap her in the face and she wouldn't notice. As she was enjoying the feel of her husband, an orgasm hit her quick and hard causing her to scream. Ethan continued to move inside of her and focused his mouth on her breast again.
Sierra soon realized that whenever she orgasmed, Ethan usually came right after her. She started tapping his shoulder in panic.
"Ethan, you have to pull out."
He took his mouth away from her breast, "No." He didn't stop moving.
"Baby, you can't come in me. Pull. Out."
It wasn't normal for him to pull out and he wasn't excited about it. He liked to start and finish inside of his wife. He didn't want Sierra upset with him. Ethan pulled out and spilled his seed on the floor.
"Thank you," she replied while breathing hard.
Ethan carried Sierra back to the table and helped her get dressed. He noticed that she was biting her lips and wringing her hands together. He lifted her chin up with his finger. "What's wrong?"
"We have to walk out of here...I'm not looking forward to it," she admitted.
Ethan chuckled and kissed his wife. "Sierra Coleman is embarrassed? Since when?" he teased.
She rolled her eyes. "Since now."
"I wouldn't worry. You're a married woman. There’s no shame in what just happened."
They finished getting dressed and he led her out of the examination room. Before leaving, he grabbed a paper towel and cleaned his mess.
Sierra hid her face on Ethan's back as they walked out. On occasion, she looked up and saw a nurse or tech smiling at her. Dr. Binder stopped them from walking out into the lobby. She had a cheeky smile on her face.
"Sierra, the depo shot starts working right away, so next time your husband doesn't have to pull out."
Sierra's face heated. She had no words for once. She was so used to embarrassing people. This was new for her.
Ethan laughed. "Thanks Doc."
He followed his wife home and made love to her again.
Chapter 24
During the weekend, Johari’s mood was in a melancholy state. It made Jon worry. He got a hotel room for the night to improve her spirits, but it didn’t work. No matter what he did, her mood didn't change. They had lunch, went shopping, and lounged around the pool, but nothing helped. Even now as they bathed together in the large jacuzzi tub in their hotel, he felt like Johari's mind was somewhere else. His plans for a romantic evening were falling apart. Now, his focus was making sure she was okay.
He thought she was upset about the fight that occurred with Sean, but she insisted she was fine.
"Penny for your thoughts," he whispered the words as he reached under the water and grabbed her foot. They were facing one another in the large garden tub. Jonathan started to message Johari's feet, hoping to ease her into relaxing.
"I'm not thinking about anything," she replied.
He knew she wasn't being honest. "Come here."
He let go of her foot and reached for her hand. Johari allowed Jonathan to pull her close to straddle his hips. "You're lying, baby." Jon kissed her forehead. "What's going in this head of yours?" he asked again.
Johari remained quiet. She didn't know how Jonathan would absorb the thoughts that were going through her mind.
"Tell me," he almost begged. "Let me in, we're in this together. Remember? Baby, you must stop acting like you're alone and depend on me. That's why I'm here."
Johari dragged her hands down her face to hide her tears. "I've been thinking a lot about Destiny," she confided. "I spent years suffering, and I don't have to imagine what she's going through. I've already felt it. I feel responsible for what's happening to her."
"Baby, you can't blame yourself."
"I should have put him in prison a long time ago."
"You don't know how long he would've served time."
"I shouldn't have had his contact info in my phone," Johari countered.
"It wasn't your fault that Destiny took your phone and contacted him. It sure as hell isn't your fault that she came to Austin to meet him. Destiny is young, but she's still responsible for her actions. Don't carry guilt around."
"I can't help it," she admitted.
Johari moved away from Jon's lap and settled back on the other side of the tub. He watched as she grabbed the loofa and started rubbing it against her arms and neck. It was a beautiful sight watching the light of the candles flicker off her skin.
"Do you remember what Sierra said about setting Trenton up?"
"No," Jon said quickly. He cut Johari off in the middle of her sentence. "Absolutely not."
She didn’t like his response. "The water is getting cold.” Johari stood to get out of the tub,
but Jon grabbed her hand before she could escape.
"The water is fine. You're angry and trying to run away. Sit back down and talk this out with me," he demanded. Tugging her arm, Jon made Johari sit in his lap again. Her ass was cradled on his lap pressed against his dick. Jon controlled his sexual urges and wrapped his arms around Johari. "Talk to me; that's the only way we're going to work. We have to communicate."
"I don't like being told what to do, I spent years being controlled."
"I'm going to pretend that you didn't just compare me to that monster," Jonathan commented. "I'm not trying to control you. I'm looking out for your safety. I have no need to tell you what to do. I love you. Why would I want to put you in danger?"
"I'm sorry, I just feel like I should be doing more. I didn't mean to offend you." She trusted Jonathan and knew that he was looking out for her best interest.
Jonathan kissed her shoulder. "Apology accepted. Maybe there's another way to help without risking your life. We can call Demetrius in the morning and come up with some better ideas. We'll get him. I don't want you to worry about it."
Johari settled in his arms and closed her eyes. She was ready for all the drama to be over, so she could move on with her life. "Okay."
↔
Monday morning Jonathan called Demetrius, but the call went to voicemail. Demetrius was in the middle of working with Sean and Yolanda and couldn’t answer his call.
Being a former Detective, Demetrius worked difficult cases, but this situation involving Destiny and Johari was personal. It involved his friends and family, people he cared about. His task today was difficult, and he knew once he showed Sean and Yolanda the video he acquired, they were going to be upset.
He escorted the duo to his office and handed them his personal iPad. Sean saw the image of him sitting at the bar of his hotel.
"Why do you have this?" he asked. He was embarrassed by his actions.
“It’s a video from the hotel camera. Press play.”
They watched the video and saw a man come and sit down by Sean. After it was over, Sean handed the tablet back to Demetrius.
“I don’t see the significance of this. I had a few drinks. It’s not illegal.”
Demetrius didn’t like Sean’s attitude. “The man that sat next to you was Trenton Livingston.”
"Are you fucking kidding me? That son of a bitch was at the bar!"
"How didn't you recognize him?" Yolanda asked.
"I was drunk! I don't even know how I got back to the room that night." He looked at Demetrius. "Was he staying at the hotel?"
Demetrius nodded his head. "He was but not anymore. I'm sure seeing you made them leave."
"Sean, I can't believe you," Yolanda stated.
Sean didn't have a response. He couldn't believe it either.
Demetrius switched to another video and gave the tablet to Yolanda. "I think you should pay close attention."
They watched the screen as it showed the lobby of the hotel. Yolanda was seen getting on the first elevator as Trenton and Destiny were getting off the second one.
"Oh, my God, she was right there, and I was too consumed by my phone to notice." Yolanda started to cry, so Sean went to console her.
"We can't go back and change the past. We need to keep our eyes and ears open for now on. The next time Destiny pops up, we need to be able to get our hands on her. I've spoken with law enforcement, and they're going to continue patrolling to see if they spot her. The local news stations are going to start broadcasting tonight. We're now looking at this situation as a kidnapping and not a runaway. I want you guys to be prepared, just in case reporters try to contact you. I'm going to try to do any and everything I can to find Destiny soon."
"Thank you, Demetrius," Sean stated. “We’ll pay double your regular rate to get her back safely.”
“No need. I don’t do this for the money. I do it because I like to help people. My mother was in an abusive relationship. No woman should have to endure misuse.”
He escorted Sean and Yolanda to his front door. "I'll continue to keep you guys posted if I hear anything new.”
Yolanda gave him a quick hug before going outside. Sean lingered until she was in the car.
“I’m losing hope,” Sean admitted to Demetrius. “I’m trying to stay positive, but I don’t know if we’ll ever find Destiny.”
Demetrius wished he could predict the future to ease Sean’s fears. “When Sydney was kidnapped, Zeke didn’t give up hope. You were the blessing he needed. People are aware that Destiny is missing, and we have the community involvement. Someone will help us find Destiny.”
Sean nodded and walked towards his vehicle.
Chapter 25
Johari was unable to fall asleep. She couldn’t remember the last time she had a good night’s sleep.
She and Jonathan were eating dinner when she suddenly became ill. She rushed into the bathroom and vomited the contents of her meal. They came home, and Jonathan tucked her into bed. That occurred three hours ago.
"What's wrong, Jo?" she heard him ask. She rolled over to her side. With the little light that crept through the windows, she could see him.
"I'm fine, just a little insomnia."
Jon rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed. He reached over to the nightstand and turned the lamp on, flooding light into the room. "Are you feeling okay?"
"I told you that it was something I ate."
He looked down at her stomach. She was dressed in a tank top and a pair of his boxers. The blankets were bundled around her waist. "Are you sure it's not something else?"
She knew what he was referring to. "I'm not pregnant."
"How do you know?" he challenged. "Nausea and vomiting are one of the most common symptoms."
Johari rolled her eyes. "So, I guess when you got sick a couple of weeks ago you were pregnant?" she replied. "We need to set you up with a doctor ASAP; you need prenatal care."
Jonathan didn't laugh. "I'm serious. We've been going strong for the past month without protection."
"I'm fully aware of that."
"Then, why are you acting like it's not a possibility?" he threw back at her.
Johari sighed and sat up against the headboard. This is not a conversation she wanted to have right now. She ran her hands through her hair in frustration. "You know why." She had told him multiple times that she could never get pregnant.
"I think that was God's way of making sure you didn't stay with him. I know you, the real you. A baby would have kept you with Trenton," Jonathan stated. "Tell me I'm wrong."
She shrugged her shoulders. "I honestly don't know, but I am thankful that we didn't have any kids. It would have been harder to leave." It would have been complicated trying to run away with a child attached to her. Trenton would have had rights as well, and she knew that he would've fought her for full custody. "All of that is beside the point," she stated focusing on the present, not the past. "I'm with you. I love you."
He didn't respond. Johari watched as Jonathan got out of bed and started to get dressed. Johari was puzzled by his actions. "What are you doing?"
"He put on some jeans and a plain t-shirt before sliding into his Jordan slides. "I'm going to a pharmacy. I need to know If I'm going to be a father or not."
"Jon..." She looked at the clock on the wall and saw the time. "It's getting late. Wait until the morning.”
"Just humor me, please. I've been thinking about it since we left the restaurant."
"Fine! I'll pee on a stick for you."
Jonathan chuckled. "I love when you talk dirty." He pressed a kiss to her temple and left the room.
Johari stood from the bed and saw Jonathan pull out of the driveway. She was instantly aware that she was alone in the room and had privacy. She took her phone out of her purse and dialed a familiar number. She waited for him to answer. She wanted to get this phone call out of the way before Jonathan came back home.
↔
Jonathan stood anxiously outside of the bathroom waiti
ng to hear the results of Johari's pregnancy test. He rushed to the pharmacy and came back within thirty minutes. Now, he only had to wait another five to know if she was pregnant and it was driving him crazy.
"Jo?"
She opened the door holding the stick. He couldn't read her emotions. "I don't think it worked." She held up the stick and showed him the results. "The lines are faded. I don't think that's a positive."
Jonathan took the pregnancy test back to their bedroom. Johari followed and watched as he took the box and read the instructions.
This was the first time he ever dealt with this type of situation. His ex, Danielle, claimed to be pregnant, but it was a lie. He read the back of the box twice to make sure he wasn't wrong. He looked up at her and smiled.
"What?"
"Two faded lines means you're pregnant, Jo," he replied astonished.
She was rendered speechless. The last thing she expected was for the test to be positive. She wanted to make an appointment with a doctor to be sure. She closed her eyes to process the information. It felt like the worst timing ever.
Strong arms wrapped around her. She opened her eyes and stared back at Jonathan. "You alright? This is a moment of happiness, right?" he asked with concern in his eyes. She didn't even realize she was crying until he brushed her tears away.
"I'm happy and a little scared."
Jonathan picked her up and carried her to the bed. "There's nothing to be afraid of. We'll handle whatever comes our way together."
"I just wish all of this drama with Trenton was done with. I want to be in our own place when the baby comes." She didn't want to bring a baby into the world still living with Sierra and Ethan, running from her ex-husband.
"The townhouse is still ours. I'm still paying the bills. Right now, it's just safer for you to be here. In eight months when little Jonathan gets here, I'm sure everything will be back to normal."
Johari laughed a little. "You already think it's a boy? Could be a girl...it could be nothing. There are such things as errors."
"I don't think it is."
She didn't really think it was either. A baby, she didn't know what to think. She didn't think they could ever get pregnant. "How do you feel?" she asked Jonathan.
