I almost swallowed my tongue when I walked in to see her applying mascara in the mirror with nothing but panties and a bra on.
“Like what you see?”
“You know I do.”
“Thank you,” she said when I set her breakfast down.
“Your dress is laying on the bed. I figured I’d be nice today and let you pick out your shoes.”
“Oh, how kind of you.” She rolled her eyes, but smiled. She loved when I found little ways to take care of her. She was a completely independent woman, but she was still Ana. And I was still me. The same kid who wanted to take care of her when I first met her. Just, now I finally could. So, I did it every chance I got.
By the time I got out of the shower, she was packing up her bag to leave for work. I wrapped a towel around my waist and followed her to the door. As she was about to open it, I pulled her back and pinned her to the wall.
“Make sure you take those panties off before you walk in this apartment tonight.”
“And if I don’t?” she taunted with a raised eyebrow. Ana submitted beautifully, but she fought back whenever she could. It only made it that much sweeter when I had her begging and agreeing to everything beneath me later.
“Then I’ll cut up every single pair of panties you own and you will have to teach students with no underwear on.”
She took a deep breath as a flush worked its way across her cheeks. “Fine.”
Reaching to my right, I pulled out a small box from the entryway table. Her eyes widened when I placed it in her hands. “It’s not that. I would never do that with two seconds before you leave.”
She cracked it open and her brows furrowed.
“Nipple clamps,” I explained. “For later. I figured we could try something new.” I had to remind myself she didn’t have time for more sex when the flush spread down her neck.
“What are you going to do with me?” Her voice trembled.
I breathed a laugh. “Oh, Ana. As soon as you walk in that door, I’m going to fuck you with a bigger plug, using your pussy juices to slip it into your ass. Then I’m going to make you dinner. You will sit at the kitchen island while I cook and you can have a glass of wine. If I find a moment, I will sit you up on the counter and eat your pussy for an early dessert. Maybe.”
Her breasts heaved under the scoop neck of her dress and I had to hold back from biting them. Watching her get turned on kept me going.
“Then we will sit at the table and you will let me feed you. Once we’re done there, I’m going to take you to the bedroom, put these nipple clamps on you, lay you face down on the sheets, and spank your ass red. When you’re on the edge of coming, I’m going to leave you there while I clean up dinner. Maybe even have a glass of wine.”
I couldn’t hold back from touching her. I dragged my finger from her lips, over her collar bone, to her nipple where I gripped it cruelly between my fingers and pinched, kissing her gasp of pain.
“Then, Ana. Only when I’m ready, will I remove the plug and fill you with my cock. Taking—owning—the last virginity you have to give.”
I let go of her nipple and placed a sweet, gentle kiss to her parted lips.
“Kevin,” she breathed.
“Have a great first day of school, babe.” I slapped her ass and pulled back, fully expecting her to fall to the floor.
Instead, she stiffened her spine, closed her eyes, and took a fortifying breath. When she finally opened them, and looked at me, they shot fire.
“Fucking sadist.”
“I love you.” I smiled at her glare. “Fucking masochist.”
She tried to keep the angry look, but her lips twitched before stretching into a full smile.
“I love you too.” She grabbed her bag that had fallen to the floor and fixed her dress, before opening the door. “Better hurry to work so I can get home sooner.”
Home. Ana and I had always been each other’s homes. But hearing her call the place we finally lived together home, made all the years, all the shame, worth it.

First and foremost, as always, thank you to my amazing family. My husband boosts me up when I’m down and helps me through whatever I need. He makes a mean grilled cheese on nights I just can’t get to dinner. And to my two sweet girls: Because of you I am stronger than I have any right to be. I love you.
Thank you to Karlita, who was there to help me when I struggled with my plot and who tore this book apart in the best way possible. You were there any time I voice-messaged you with questions and I would still be crying in a corner without your help.
Becca, my champion. My donut queen. Traveler extraordinaire. I never, ever could make it as far as I am without you spreading word about this book like glitter. Thank you for championing me. Thank you for all your belief and support. You blessed me with your friendship and I can’t tell you how thankful I am for getting to know you. P.S. We make beautiful book covers. Haha!
Thank you to my betas. Whitney Belisle, my comma queen. I learn a little bit more about my complete and utter ignorance of commas with you. But you teach me and I appreciate every little one. Stephanie Rose, you give it to me straight and I loved having the tables turn and you beta read for me this time!
Whitney Barbetti, thank you for being there when I fell apart and sending me memes galore. Your comic relief distracted me perfectly when I needed it. Thank you for always being my best friend.
To my Crossfit sisters, you ladies cheered me on when I was broken and pushed me to finish. You gave me an outlet when I was stressed and I love each and every one of you. I say it all the time, you could put me in Jazzercise, and as long as you were all there, I’d be there too.
To my gymnastics wine club moms. You ladies always listen to me bitch and moan and tell me to get my shit together as you pass me the alcohol. We may be poor in money, thanks to our girls, but I feel rich in friendships.
Especially Toni. You are more giving than I could ever ask for. I’m so happy we stumbled upon each other in our moment of competition anxiety. Thank you for all your advice and helping me format this bad boy.
Thank you to my editors. Christina Harris, I hope you’ll still be able to fit me in your schedule when you become big and famous! You always teach me with each grammatical mistake I make, and I love it. Go Seahawks!! Karen Cimms, whew girl, you edited my book to high heaven and I have one thousand times more confidence in it than I ever thought possible. Thank you for being so thorough and so amazing!
