Hubby Vs Bae Page 7

Out in the hallway Kisha breathed a sigh of relief shaking hands with the notary.

“Thanks again.” She told him as they both walked out of the prison. Signing out, waiting to be buzzed back through the gates, and then out a couple of sets of doors with guards at every turn they finally met the fresh air, and Kisha felt like it was her first time breathing in years.

The smile on her face wouldn’t go away, and when she saw Titus and the boys patiently waiting in the car her smile grew deeper. If it wasn’t for the seven-month-old baby bump she would have run to the car, instead she walked with a skip in her step.

“Is it done?” Titus asked getting out and meeting her before she got to the car.

With tears streaming down her face all she could do was nod.

“I love you, baby. I love you so much.” Wrapping his arms around her the boys jumped out the car and joined in. All four of them having a group hug on the prison parking lot. Through a window in the rec hall Morris watched as his family hugged another man. The sight burned into his mind as he clenched the bars. He imagined pulling away the steel bars and finishing the job on Titus. He wanted to see him in the ground and kill Kisha in the process.

He watched as they all piled back into the black truck and drove off the prison grounds. He followed the car until it was so small that he could no longer see it, but in his mind he would replay the scene over and over again.

“One day I’m gonna get out.” He whispered to himself. “This shit isn’t over.” Morris meant every word. If he could do anything he could hold a grudge, and five years was nowhere near long enough to forget about how his friend and his ex-wife played with his heart. This was deeper than revenge; this was full blown hate that would run through his veins until he was able to touch one of them and do something about it.

“All I got is time... I can wait.” He stepped away from the window heading back to his bunk. Him and his thoughts going over every possible scenario of his revenge.
