Cyrosphere 6: Scrambling Lives Together Page 5

by Deandre Dean

Powerful individuals working together could be beneficial, look at them all. They just saved the world, but it only took Delia getting her hands on Jensen's blood to kill Hannah and unleashing something terrible.

  Chapter Thirty Seven:

Daniel and Shalice left first, both had been servely affected by MaryAnne's presence. They weren't in the forgiving mood and MaryAnne explained she had seen the errors of her ways.

Ginger found that convent, but Piper explained the circumstances around Feltus' death. How the dark entirely ate at his soul into he couldn't help himself from killing.

The dark entity is man made but Jensen didn't create it. It is a side-effect of powerful magic.

Ginger asked, "Did we just make something?"

MaryAnne informs her, "No, we restored balance. Whatever Delia let free has to be worse. The dark entity can't be destroyed; it is the darkness in every living person. The dark emotions and thoughts we all have."

  That was terrifying.

Jensen trusted MaryAnne, so Ginger would give her a second chance. It turns out she was wrong about Spider so maybe she didn't know the entire story about her. Stacey left to go home to her baby girl.

Ginger needed to figure out what Delia unleashed when she decided to team up with Piper. If there was one person that knew anything, it was her.

  Chapter Thirty Eight:

Standing outside Piper's mansion gates as she yelled for someone to come and open this damn gate before she breaks it down. Shortly after two or three minutes of cursing, Aiden came to let her in. She walked bristly up the drive-way having to calm down before she let Piper or Aiden get in her way.

The front door was up with a bored looking Piper waiting in the foyer for her. She brushed past her and stormed into the living room. Ginger sat with a thump, so Piper calmly sat in her knee length black two piece business skirt.

Piper demanded, "Why can't you leave me alone? You are like a cockroach that won't die! Trying to force my hand first so I give you crumbs. And then you find you’re whatever they are to you, yet here you are. Back at my door, harassing me."

Ginger snaps, "Cut the bull. You love our interactions, or else you'd just ignore me. You get off on them, you sick freak."

Aiden growls. Ginger glances over her shoulder to glare at him because she totally forgot his presence.

Piper states, "Aiden. That'll be all for now. Go have lunch or something."

  He storms off.

Ginger grins and says, "You have him well trained like a puddle."

  Piper actually smiles and laughs.

Ginger asks, "Someone stole Jensen. Delia Kern is some huge threat and broke a ripple in the universes to break something out."

Piper smirks and announces, "Delia is some fairy, hardily a threat."

Aiden comes running in and says, "We have a breech in security."

Piper rolls her eyes and claims, "Deal with it."

  Boom!

Half of the ceiling came tumbling down around them. Ginger automatically through herself at Piper, knocking them out of the way of a high beam that crashes seconds after them moved. A hysterical laugh comes from a blond in a light blue dress who strolls over to them.

  This must be Delia Kern.

She thinks, "OMG. She isn't a fairy. She is a God. I didn't know how I know but."

  Delia states, "Prepare to die."

She makes a fireball and launches it at Piper who is still half covered by me.

  Ginger thinks, "Not good."
