LILA
Liam and I had just came and saw headlights driving down the pathway, it was Evan and Tatum. The look on their faces, was priceless. Hell I’m sure they do things like this too, who doesn’t? I think it’s still hard on Liam seeing and talking to Evan. He has done really well though. He knows it means a lot to Nikki to have us all together. He has a surprise for me, and it’s driving me bonkers, I’m not good with surprises.
As we pull into our driveway, I can see a light coming from the beach. It wasn’t normally that bright. Liam comes around and helps me out of the truck. He kisses me, hard and passionate.
“Let’s go shower, then you can have your surprise. No peeking.”
“Hmm, shower sounds great, but why can’t I have a little peek?”
“Nope not one, little one. Let’s go get cleaned up and then you will see. I’ll call and check on the kid’s why you start the shower and then I’ll join you.”
“You’re so bossy, but I like it.” I say as I stomp towards our bedroom, it was taking everything in me not to look out the window and see what’s going on. I go and start the shower, as I stand in the hot shower I feel Liam’s arms around my waist. He pulls me close to him, my back against his chest.
“Did, I ever tell you how beautiful you looked tonight? Well of course you are always beautiful. But seeing you in that dress, gave me a damn hard on all night. Then when you wrapped your lips around me, I wanted to come instantly. The things you do to me woman.” He says as he places small kisses down my neck, he turns me to face him and starts kissing me. His kisses make me feel so warm inside and out.
“You looked mighty handsome yourself. I wanted to rip that suit off of you, so I can stare at that sexy body underneath. How did I manage to get so lucky, you are perfect you know that right? You, your body, mind, and soul and this makes me love you even more.” I say as I stoke his length.
“I knew it, you only love me because I can make you feel so good, with that part of my body.” He says laughing.
“Oh, you sure can alright. But I love you for this.” I say as I place a kiss over his heart.
“Hmm, I love every inch of you.” He says as he washes my entire body then his. “Now my surprise is waiting, woman lets go.”
“Okay, what should I wear?” I ask still unsure what his intensions were.
“It’s on the bed, meet me downstairs when you’re dressed.” He says as he hands me a towel. I dry off and walk into the bedroom and see a bikini and cover up. It was black and pink zebra print. I put it on and go downstairs to find Liam, in a pair of swimming trunks and no shirt.
I wanted to make love to Lila so bad when we were in the shower. But I contained myself, I’d rather make love to her under the moonlight. As I’m waiting for her to get ready, I rushed downstairs to make sure everything is all set up outside. I run my iPod out and start some music. The bar and the tiki torches are all set up. There are two palm trees with the hammock in between the two. The bar is set up with margaritas. There are also pineapples and strawberries.
When Lila finally comes downstairs I’m waiting in the kitchen for her. She looks beautiful. She is into all the animal print so I saw the bikini and knew she would love it. Hell the way it sits on her hips, the way her boobs look, I was ready to undress her now.
I didn’t say anything to her, I kiss her and place my hand in hers and lead her out onto the patio. She walks out, and no words were spoken, just the ocean in the background and the lyrics of Luke Bryan playing in the background.
“When did you have time to do all of this, it’s beautiful.” She says as she wipes a tear from her face.
“I had some helpers, and I wanted to do something special for you. We have been so busy since Greyson was born, and I feel like you never take time for yourself. I know it isn’t the real thing but close enough right?” I say as I kiss her.
“It can’t be more perfect. I was wondering where all the lights were coming from, but now I see. Are you going to make us some drinks, or stand here staring at me all night?” she says laughing.
“I can stand here and stare but the bikini will be coming off soon, and that will make me stare even harder so I better make the drinks first.” I say as I lead her over to the tiki bar. I help her onto the stool, and I go around and start making her a drink.
“Aww, you even have appetizers. You thought this all out didn’t you?”
“Yes, I knew that was your favorite. Hell, yeah I did. I couldn’t do this unless I went all out. Maybe I’ll win husband of the year award.” I say cocking my head back laughing.
“You, already have that award and every other award from me. Now let’s try out that hammock.”
LILA
I can’t believe that Liam pulled all of this off without me knowing. It was beautiful and so relaxing, laying here in this hammock with his arms around me, is the best thing ever. Just knowing I will forever be his, and that nothing will ever break us. The things that has happened has made us both stronger, and I never thought I could love him more than I already did. But with him, sticking by me through my pregnancy knowing that Greyson may have been Evan’s, showed me just what a wonderful man I had.
As I lie here in his arms, I thank God every day for bringing him into my life. And for not taking him out of it completely, he may have been lost, but so was I. We found one another again, and that is a once in a lifetime chance. There is no way I would ever give up on this man, and his love. Not even for another man. What Evan and I had is the past, I see that now. I’m happy with our friendship and the way things turned out. Life is about embracing it and I will forever embrace the love that Liam and I share, and I’ll spend forever embracing us.
“What are you thinking about beautiful? You look so serious.”
“You and us. I was just thinking about how thankful I am that you are here and alive. That I’m here and alive. We have a beautiful family and that almost didn’t happen. They say everything happens for a reason, and I truly believe that. I also think that Addison has a lot to do with everything. Do you know the entire time I dated Ashton, she tried to get me to go after you? She always had nice things to say about you. I think that she knew we were soul mates all along.”
“She always told me you would love me eventually. Do you remember that time, at that party when I walked in on you and Ashton? Well Ads told me you were there and I was hoping you dumped his ass that night. But I eventually got the most amazing girl from all those parties. That night you sleep in my bed, it took everything I had not to kiss you and make you mine that night. I have loved you for so long, and there is no way I’m letting anything ruin what we have, no one will ever break the bond that we have formed. Ever!!”
“I was so embarrassed that night, I was so glad you walked in. Poor Ashton. He was so determined to deflower me. Addison kept warning me, but she had one thing right that if I let you in I would fall madly in love with you and here it is almost seven years later and we are still going strong. What do you think it will be like in twenty years?”
“I could never stop loving you, I think we will live till we are a hundred, and we will have three more kids and they will drive us crazy and spend all of our money.”
“Three, well what are we waiting for let’s get started now.” I say as I straddle him.
“I never thought you would ask.” He says turning over and we both fell to the ground. “I like it better down here, I’ll start by taking this off. God your beautiful baby. Tonight, right here under the moon, I’m going to make you scream my name so loud that whoever is on the other side of that ocean can hear you. I’m marking my property. These are mine, this is mine, and you are mine. I can’t get enough of your beauty, sometimes I look at you and my heart sinks. Knowing that someone as beautiful as you are is all mine.”
“A hickey Liam? Omigosh…I know, ‘It’s an Ellis thing.’” I say laughing.
He works his way down my body kissing every inch of it just as he said he was going to. Leaving freaking hick
eys. Then he reaches my thighs, he spreads each leg open as he does the bikini slides down, and I’m lying in the middle of our beach with nothing covering me except his sexy body.
“Are you still sore baby? I don’t want you to overdo it.”
“I’m a little sore, but that doesn’t mean you can’t continue kissing me everywhere else.”
“Mmm. That’s what I like to hear. God I love you woman.”
His kisses has me ready to have multiple orgasms, not the small ones, the ones that last for minutes, where your entire body shakes, and your toes curl. “God yes, Liam. Right there.” I say as I wrap both hands in his short messy hair as he kisses my neck. That is my spot, please, I need you inside of me.”
“Are you sure, I don’t want to hurt you. Or make your soreness worse.”
“It’s fine, I will be okay. Just make love to me, I need you so damn bad.”
Greyson is two months old today, Lila has decided not to go back to work, she loves staying home with the kids, and that’s where I love her being. Kade finally moved into his place and Ashton and AJ bought the house next door. We like having them close, so AJ can play with the kids. They are so close he is like a big brother to them. Things at work have been keeping me busy, but today Lila and I are going to get our new tattoos. I’m getting two but she doesn’t know that yet.
She still hasn’t agreed to let Ashton give them to us. He will be there maybe she will change her mind. He finally called his cop friends and Christa is in jail, in Vermont. She had gotten into trouble there before her and Ashton met. He never turned her in once he found out about it, but after all the shit she pulled, he realized it was time. That he and AJ shouldn’t live in fear, because of her stupidity.
“You ready? Did you say you were getting a tattoo sleeve?” I ask Lila joking with her. She hasn’t told me what she wants but I know it’s something small.
“Ha…Ha…Nope, what I’m getting is small and will fit right here on my wrist.”
“Next to the star or your other wrist?”
“My other wrist, you will see. So are you getting yours right here?” she asks as she runs her hand down my side.
“Yes, well depending. Still not sure what I want. Let’s go, before we are late.”
“Are we going to the one Ashton works at?” she asks as we drove out of the drive way.
“Maybe, did you know of another place?” I ask.
“No, that one is fine. I guess, I just don’t want him doing mine. If you want him to do yours then fine. He isn’t touching me with a needle.”
“Okay, we will see if his buddy Toom will do it. He has been doing them a long time and Ashton said he is a great artist.”
“Okay, good. That’s what I like to hear, when Addison and I went and got our butterfly’s done, there were some creepy guys in there. We made sure we got the hot guy.”
“Oh, the hot guy huh? Um, wasn’t you and I dating when you had that done?” I tease her.
“Whatever.” She says rolling her eyes.
LILA
I can’t wait for Liam to see the tattoo that I’m getting. This is the one I’ve wanted done for a while. The one when I went on my little adventure I was going to but couldn’t have it done. I know he will love it, I’m hoping he will get one like it once he sees it, then again he may think that it is to girly. Then again he may surprise me and get it.
“Are you over there thinking about changing your mind? You can just watch me get mine, considering you have been asking me for months to get it.”
“Oh hell no, I’m getting it done. So are you, I love looking at the ink on your body. Trust me you are sexy without it, but you are even sexier with it. Just don’t get them all over your arms like your cousins. That’s way too many, just my personal opinion.”
“So my tattoos make me sexy, well if that’s the case, I’ll get as many as you want me too.”
“Stop it, you know exactly what I mean.”
We pull in front of the shop and Liam walks around and opens my door. I see Ashton’s bike sitting in the parking lot. I had a feeling he would be here. As we walk in I can see him, working with a client. He is a good artist, but I just can’t phantom the thought of him tattooing me. We will see, I may change my mind, I know that will make of them happy. I guess it would be better than some stranger I don’t know.
“What’s up, Liam. You here to get some ink man?” asks Toom.
“Yes, Sir. The little lady and I want matching tattoos. I would like Ashton to do the piece he has been working on for my side and I think Lila wants you to put hers on her wrist. Is that right babe?”
“Um, Ashton can do mine also. Before he does yours, if that’s okay?” I say. Damn it. I knew that was going to happen. You walked right into that Lila. Sometimes I should think before I speak.
“Aight, y’all give Ellis some time, he’ll be finished, and he’ll get y’all started. Did you need any piercings while you were here?”
“No, we are okay. We only want the tattoos.” I yell. I didn’t realize it was as loud as it was. Until Liam starts laughing and everyone was staring at me.
“Are you nervous baby? You seem so tense. Are you sure about this?”
“Yep, I’m good, you know I don’t want any piercings. I mean if you do that’s fine with me. I’ve heard that they are very pleasurable.” I say before I think and then turn ten shades of red. Noticing that not only Liam heard me so did the other men.
“You have, have you? Well maybe I’ll get one. Just for you. Hell, I didn’t think our sex life could get any better, but if you say so.”
“No, I was kidding. No piercings.”
Now that I was the laugh of the shop, it was our turn to get our body art done. We walk back into a room that has two tables and about four chairs and mirrors everywhere. Liam still hasn’t showed me what he is getting, he and Ashton has it all planned I guess.
“Okay, so I’m first, let’s get this done. And Ashton, if you hurt me or fuck this up, I will break your neck.” I say in a serious tone.
“Oh good, so no pressure to do a good job right?” he says as he puts on a pair of gloves.
“This is what I want, and I want it in this deep purple trimmed in the pink. Can you do that? Will it look okay?”
“Yes, I can do that, and I think it would be perfect.” He says.
I sit down and place my wrist on the bed. I take a deep breath, and have Liam hold my other hand. Ashton, cleans my arm and starts working with the letters, this one is more painful than I remember the others being. I’m assuming because of the location on my wrist. I sit here squeezing Liam’s hand with my eyes closed, I don’t want to look at either of them.
“You okay, do you need to take a break?” Ashton asks as he keeps the needle in my wrist.
“I’m good, keep on working, Mister.”
“Li, it looks good and the colors are amazing. I can’t tell exactly what it says just yet, though.” Says Liam
“Thanks, you will see soon enough.” I grit out between my teeth if I can birth a ten pound baby, then I can get a little tattoo. I kept saying to myself.
“Okay, Li, what do you think? You can open your eyes now.” Ashton says as he holds my wrist up in front of my face. It looked amazing, I was in awe. I didn’t think he could pull it off.
“Let me see what does it say?” Liam asks.
Embracing Us
“Thank you, Ashton. I love it. Although it hurt badly, I’m not going to lie.” I say as I wipe a tear from my cheek. Knowing I look like a big baby. I hate needles and pain.
“It looks amazing, Li. Now my turn.” Liam says as he looks at Ashton.
“Can y’all excuse me, I’m going to the restroom.” I say as I walk in the back of the shop. I knew where it was from the last time I was here. I pull out my phone and take a picture and text it to Nikki and Meagan. I know they would both will want to see it. I call Sofia and check on my babies, she loves watching them. Sometimes I feel like she and my mother have them too much, but the
y enjoy it and so do the girls.
I walk back in and see Liam, laying on one side. Ashton was working on the other I still don’t know what he is getting, but whatever it is will be huge. It’s taking forever. I walk over and sit next to the table and he looks at me smiling.
“Alright, brother. You ready to show her?” Ashton asks.
“Yep, more than ready. I think she will be pretty happy with it, but if not then you’ll have to cover it up with the other one.” Liam says laughing.
“Oh stop it. Let me see what it is.” I say and Ashton moves for me to walk over and look at Liam’s ribcage. It was perfect, I gasp and hold back tears. It was the same one I had got, except under it in a banner style were mine and his name and all three of the kids’ names.
“I love it. When did you guys plan this?” I ask as I look at it closely.
“See, I told you she would.” Ashton says.
“I’ve wanted to get the girls names for a while, but I figured I’d wait once we found out you were pregnant.”
“Well I hope you have room left for another name. I had a voicemail from Dr. Brewster. Considering we didn’t wait the full six weeks, when I went for my check up, they ran a test and it looks like I got pregnant the night of Nikki and Brody’s wedding.” I say as I kiss Liam’s hand. His mouth is hanging open and Ashton is just staring at me. Leave it to me to make the two of them speechless.
“I’m only five weeks, so still too early to tell anything. So if you guys will keep this between us. I don’t want to tell the kids or our mothers until I’m in my second trimester.” I say to them wiggling my finger at the both of them. Now let’s see how long they can keep quite.
