The waters swooshed back and forth as Aquarian continued to look the passenger. The stars above moved like birds.

“What can I do?” The passenger asked.

“The dawning of the Aquarian Age has come and you’re our champion. There is a path to everything but understanding where you come from is important. Remember you are the lost Aquarian. You must save humanity.” Aquarian muttered tenderly.

“The time for liberation has come and defining the winds of war will be at the Aquarian Age. The old age has passed and it is time for the sun to shine on a new age. The Aquarian Watcher has done her part, now it is time for you. Come and be our champion.” Aquarian extended his hand outward to the passenger.

The passenger glanced at Aquarian insecure and looked around in fear. Small stars began to fall and the waters began to rage a little. The passenger looked back to Aquarian gone. The passenger looked around and saw the waters began to still once more. An image of Aquarian looked outward onto the boat. The passenger glimpsed down at the reflection looking back to see reveal Skipper.

He took off his cloak and glanced up at the stars dancing across the night’s sky. Skipper looked to the Aquarian Constellation to see Aquarian smiling down at him.

“What am I?” Skipper asked as a light of green and blue aura energy filtered over him.

He looked back at the waters pushing the boat to the isles in the distance. Skipper looked back at the water and touched his reflection. The ripples began to form and a small light popped out of the water and touched his nose.

Skipper woke up with a start and looked around his room. He looked around to see nothing out of the ordinary. He got out of bed and looked into the mirror to see his eyes glaze with jade glow. The moon hung low in the sky.

“Was I dreaming or am I still…” he muttered then looked out the window to see a green rainbow in the distance.

Jenny held her books close to her chest walking down the hallway. Countless students moseyed through the halls going to their lockers and others walked with their friends. She sauntered with girl and boy to her left and another girl to her right. She laughed looking to girl to her left wearing a ‘Hello Jam’ shirt, wearing her blond hair in curls. The girl, had her hair in an up do with orange tips, to her left wore a sun dress with sparkle beads on the trims. The boy wore a Pokémon shirt and dirty looking jeans with short hair. Jenny stopped and their brown eyes glanced at her for a moment.

Jenny turned to the girl on the left. “Danielle, do you think Skipper will take me to the dance on Friday?”

Danielle glowered then rolled her eyes looking at Jenny. She felt the girl was a lost cause for liking a weirdo boy.

“I think he could but Zalika and Joe would agree with me on my stance. I don’t think you should have asked him because he walks around as a loner.” Danielle looked at Jenny who stared at her.

“Maybe, but there is something special about him. I like him. We’ve known him since fourth grade and he has been nothing but nice to me.” Jenny smiled thinking about him.

Danielle, Zalika and Joe rolled their eyes at Jenny. They knew she was sprung on him and wanted her to end her silly attraction to him. Jenny went to her locker and pulled out a few books. Danielle, Zalika and Joe wave to her and go to their classes. Jenny turned to see a boy with wavy chocolate hair and stunning dark eyes. He leaned against her locker closing it. Jenny’s glanced the other direction at seeing the boy.

“Hello Billy, what do you want this time?” Jenny demanded him.

“I wanted to know if you want to go to the dance with me?” Billy asked her.

“I thought a girl was supposed to ask the guy. Not the other way around,” she stated.

“I thought you might be too embarrassed to ask, so I thought of asking you first,” Billy told her.

Jenny moved away from him and started to walk off, “I already asked someone to the dance and they accepted.”

She skipped away and Billy frowned. “Who was that?”

He hit the locker then started to walk off. As he turned around, a figure with jet orange fiery hair to her back watched him for a split second. Her orange candy eyes and pert glossy lips smiled a little. Her straight bangs moved as the wind flew in. Billy blinked his eyes and turned around to see who else was around and looked back to see the girl gone.

Skipper sat at one of the lunch tables. He began to dig into his food then a thud caused him to look up. A boy with black hair and a gold chain around his neck sat down next him.

“Skipper, did you do your math homework last night?” The boy asked.

“Zeke, I told you to do it last night. Why don’t you ever do it?” Skipper chuckled. “Your hopeless at times.”

Zeke said but was caught off by Skipper, “Dude, I just didn’t have the time—"

“I was playing video games last night. I got so into the newest game. I stayed up way past my bedtime,” Zeke glowered looking at the gloomily lunch food.

“I can help you, but don’t except me to do it for you.” Skipper reached inside his backpack and pulled out a folder.

Skipper flipped open the folder then pulled out the notebook on the side. He handed it over to Zeke and smirked. Zeke’s eyes grew as saucers.

“I shall protect this with my life!” Zeke saluted his friend then put the notebook into his backpack.

Skipper glanced over at Jenny eating with Danielle, Joe and Zalika. He sighed then looked back at his food. Zeke caught the look of Skipper and laughed.

“You have been crushing on her since you first saw her. Why?” Zeke said while between bites.

Skipper continued to look at Jenny, “because there is something special about her. I like Jenny. I’ve always had.”

Zeke moved in front of his line of sight and Skipper tried to move him out of the way. “Can you move? I want to see her.”

“Well Twilight if you keep looking at her like that, you might stalk her. She might come around with that look,” Zeke sniggered at Skipper.

“Don’t make that reference ever again. I’m no vampire.” Skipper narrowed his eyes at Zeke.

“Then go over there and talk to her like a normal human being. I’m your best friend and I know you pretty well to know that you suck at talking to girls in general.” Zeke pointed out.

  “I don’t suck…” Skipper made an excuse.

“Yeah and I’m the pickup artist at fourteen.” Zeke laughed then put a fork into Skipper’s food, “…are you going to eat that?”

Skipper scowled then put his fork over Zeke’s. “Yes.”

Zeke raised his hand in surrender. “Geez, Skipper.”

Skipper laughed then turned back to his food to eat. Jenny glanced over at Skipper then smiled. She turned back to her friends to continue to eat.

Fate and Destiny continued to pull on the strings cutting scissors. A wheel began turning in the distance and they looked on to see Aquarian smiling at them.

“All will come to past with this generation.” Aquarian distinguished.

“There is balance with one side of the prophecy, Aquarian, but there is another that will come soon.” Fate observed.

“Not all is what it seems as there is another to give balance to the cause other then what could be or not.” Destiny pronounced.

Aquarian scowled then summoned a water mirror with his hand. “I have to have faith with humanity for their test is to come at some point in the future. This rests on the boy.”

An image of Skipper appeared as he was talking to Zeke. “Their free will is most important but as the current guardian, I want to help them but my role is limited.”

“You care more for this cycle as you did the other cycles when it was your turn, but be warned, the life of the Aquarius Age is mounted into that child from what the galaxy has deemed among the other children as well.” Fate and Destiny called out.

  “How can we assist?” Aquarian
said.

“Nothing can be overturned by fate and destiny. His destiny has been laid out by the choices of his past, present and future.” They continued.

Aquarian pondered on what the two had said then strolled down the waters running into a fork. The stars shimmered above him and faded. Fate and Destiny continued to weave and cut.

“Time and fate shall play its part.” Destiny called out.

“Time and destiny has come into play.” Fate established.

Karly stood in the white hallway with people walking down in rows of black. She frowned gazing back at the people moving back and forth as the world disappeared around them. The Light Group took on all things and they would do nothing but to stop what was to be.

Karly marched back and forth down the hallway. She could feel her time coming soon. There was not much time left. Karly knew that something had to be produced, but she dreaded what the leader would say. She turned to see Coen staring at her.

“What do you want, Coen?” Karly said crossly.

“I’m just here to find out if you found anything out yet?” he smirked.

“Why would you care?” she asked him in wonder.

“Because I want to make sure you survive Karly. The Celic Group failed because they didn’t have the allies they needed. There was a lot more going on then what they perceived.” Coen chuckled a little.

“I have my allies, Coen. You are the type of person to feed them to the wolves.” Karly mustered out then pushed him aside.

Coen glared at her for not wanting to take his advice. Karly couldn’t trust him completely and remembered what kind of person he was.

“Don’t think of me that way, Karly,” he barked out.

“Well when a wolf is free what do the sheep do?” she retorted.

“They flee or the wolf will get them,” Coen smiled evilly at her.

“What do you want from my update?” Karly sighed looking at more people walked down long tunnel of a hallway.

“I want to make sure that everything goes well,” Coen said with interest.

“I have done a service to the Light Group. I know my case will be advised. I have done what I can.” Karly turned to leave, but Coen stopped her for a second.

“It is true that you gave the group a leg up, but the Aquarian Watcher was never found. We call the Watcher, female, for we feel she is one. Some of our psychics have sensed her gender energy. She went around the world prophesying against us. The leader isn’t pleased with that. Let alone the baby is alive and well.” Coen glanced into her eyes.

“I have given my service to this group with its cause. They wished to reach the stars and I have done so. I have used my abilities in contacting the last guardian to narrow down what gender the baby was.” She shook her eyes from his gaze and looked at the people moving about as it was more interesting then to be with the man next to her.

“The Light Group, thanks you, Karly, but it can also take away,” Coen stepped to the side and beamed once more with hidden intentions.

“Your warnings don’t frighten me, Coen. I don’t need your help,” Karly caught hint of his forbearance.

“Then take on the wrath of them for not finding the child soon. Your exploits are legendary, Karly, but even time won’t save you.” Coen turned to meet her eyes once more and sniggered.

“You’re one of them aren’t you…” Karly sensed the conversation had shifted and was concerned by his demeaner.

Coen moved closer to reveal the slits in his eyes. Karly jumped back to see the darkness in his eyes.

“I am and what I see they accept as well. We protect our own. The Aquarian Watcher has been elusive and we shall get her one day and it will lead us to the child of prophesy.” Coen said cryptically.

“I see.” Karly nodded seeing as he had an undertone.

“When you have discovered the whereabouts, we will come in and take what is ours.” Coen turned then walked down the hallway.

Karly glanced back at him then frowned. She was more suspicious of Coen then the group itself. Karly took a deep breath and wondered what would be the next thing she would be able to do. She had fought tooth and nail to be in the position she had come into. Nothing would stop her now, but she remembered back to the child who appeared before her once.

A man with a buzz cut and muscular features stood on the escalator going down. His shades block the sun peering through the windows. Dozens of people move about to get to their destination. Loud sounds and echoes of endless voices barad the airport as he stepped onto the floor. He walked throw the doors and hailed a cab to come. The man quickly got into the cab and gave money to him.

The cab driver glanced back. “Where do you want to go to?”

The man pulled off his shades to reveal colorless eyes. “Harbor Port City.”

  Chapter Five

The stars shined brightly in the distance as the sun moved seeped behind the clouds. The wind was ajar and a soft breeze entered in. Skipper laid in his bed tossing and turning. The blankets moved and tussled behind him. Sweat lingered in his bed as glowing green energy surrounded him.

He began to call out then bolted awake sensing his energy move to different heights. His eyes began to glow and he the house started to shift. A green decant glow continued to emerge from his mouth and rose around him. His hair flew upward and he began to levitate. Skipper looked around and felt the energy overturn him into something beyond. He looked around and called out. He began to levitate higher to the ceiling and stayed there. More energy powered out to him then the ceiling turned into a sea of endless crimson water. He stuck his hands out trying to grab anything then slowly descended upward looking at forms below the waters moving about. Specs as he flew upward then faded into the stars.

Skipper closed his mouth and eyes as he flew higher seeing Earth becoming distant. A swirl of light formed and he turned to see Earth barren of life.

He reached out wanting to save it but was descended higher and farther away.

A voice called out, “Skipper, this is how Earth will become if we don’t do anything to save it.”

The darkness of the void mirrored around him as he turned to see water flow then surrounded him forming into a figure. Aquarian stood before him and glowed with green and blue energy.

“We must go beyond the invisible and see what is reality and not. You must become Earth’s avatar in many ways. Your power is growing and it will overtake you. Embrace it.” Aquarian mounted.

Skipper glared then Aquarian waved his hands over him in a ritualistic way. “Life is important and time isn’t at this stage. You are the child of prophesy to help save this world and galaxy.”

Skipper looked around him and saw Earth began to fade and brown patches circled all around.

He scowled then looked to Aquarian. “I just want to be a kid. I never asked for this power or life. How come destiny won’t leave me alone? I don’t want it. I don’t want any of it.”

Skipper glanced around him and saw stars falling. “I wish it was that simple, Skipper. But your life isn’t the only thing that is at stake. The galaxy and many others are. Don’t you see that life is important.”

“I want you to make the choice that one day you will meet your antithesis. There must be balance and you represent that of which I hold faith in. Remember that your power will awaken fully and you will need to control it.” Aquarian peered at Skipper.

“The war is coming and you must see that life must be restored and reigned.” Aquarian suggested.

Skipped moved his hands back to his sides, “I still get a choice. I need to have my life. I’m only thirteen. I want to just live my life.”

Aquarian nodded then began to fade into the darkness. “The choice is yours, Skipper, but your equal will come as the opposite of you one day to stop you.”

Skipper pouted then fell to his knees looking around him. The stars continued to fall like meters and Skipper sh
ook his head seeing Earth turn darker.

Deliberately, Skipper opened his eyes and turned on his side remembering the dream. He wasn’t definite what his dreams were telling him, but the person knew more about him then he dared speak awake. Skipper felt like he met this person before but wasn’t sure. The sun began to beam down on the trees outside. He sluggishly got up and went to the window to see the sun shining taking in the land. Skipper comprehended that he had a choice. He wanted to be a teen, a selfish teen to experience life.

Zalkia, Billy, Jenny and Danielle talked amongst themselves sitting at the lunch tables. Zalika and Billy got up to throw their finished food into the trash. Billy and Zalika ambled out. Jenny dug into her peaches as Danielle drank her apple juice. Many other students chatted amongst themselves. The lunch room grew louder as the bell began to ring. Danielle and Jenny strode together to their next class. Down the hallway, Jenny watched Skipper talk to Zeke. She always thought he was special and didn’t know him long. There was something that caught her attention about him that made her wonder. Danielle absently talked to another student as Jenny continued to gaze at Skipper. At the same moment, he turned around and smiled to her. Jenny turned around fast blushing. She pushed a book in front of her face to cover her blush.

Skipper and Zeke walked to their next class. Danielle pulled Jenny into their English class. The rest of the students strolled in and sat at their assigned seats. Jenny sat by Danielle and they began to pull out their books.

The teacher turned to the board to start writing on the board. The door opened up and a girl with fiery orange red hair walked in. She wore a dark top, matching leather gloves, combat boots, purple leggings, a wrinkled stripped “Ramones” band vest. She wore skeleton key earrings and looked at the other students.

The teacher glanced at her and she handed him a note, “so, you’re the new transfer student? Attention class, I want you to give a warm welcome to Raven Moore.”
