His footsteps took him to the back of the platform, stopping only when he stood before her. Slowly, she raised her face toward him, and at last he could see the silver glow of her eyes shining up at him. His truemate.
He held out his hand to her and she placed her smaller hand in his. A glow surrounded their joined hands before expanding to enclose their bodies.
