Bettie listens to her pleas and moves her hand lower, fingers gently finding Annabel's clit and massaging the small sensitive bud of flesh.
"Can I touch you?" Annabel gasps out on a shakey breath, her legs feeling weak with pleasure.
"Anywhere you want, baby. My body is yours, all yours," Bettie says before claiming Annabel's mouth in a heated kiss.
The next few minutes blur into each other, hot kisses, heated lips, slick warmth, welcoming flesh, and Annabel is soon clutching Bettie as her first orgasm hits, but Bettie's clever fingers don't stop moving, and they draw a second orgasm out of Annabel before she gets her breath, drops to her knees in the shower and returns the favour.
Afterwards, Annabel has to sit on a stool as Bettie helps her dry her longer hair. Her leg has been through a lot these last few weeks: all the skating, training, the wedding, and now the shower. She is feeling the ache, but the rest of her body is singing, so she doesn't mind.
They get mostly dry and then dress in pyjamas and go back to Bettie's living room and decide to watch movies on the couch, fire on and snacks to eat. Annabel lies back against Bettie's chest, looking up into her eyes, and she smiles, feeling warm and satisfied, a feeling she's getting used to around Bettie that before she'd felt from friends and work. This is somehow the same but different, and Annabel thinks all kinds of love are important, but she's glad she has found this kind of love.
"What are you thinking?" Bettie asks kissing, Annabel's forehead, which makes Annabel feel like her insides are melting.
"That penguins are my favorite animal." Annabel teases because she's not quite ready to declare her love yet. She doesn't want to scare Bettie off, even though she is sure Bettie cares for her as a lover and a friend.
"Damn right," Bettie says happily
The wedding has done her a favour, and Annabel might never not fear the ice, but she'll go skating with her penguin sometimes, just because it brought them together.
