Bloody Vows Page 17

  I stick my tongue out at him, “Okay show-off, how about all of them.”

  He continues to smirk at me. He sits up confidently, and stares at me, “I finished the top of all my classes. I had a 4.0 in every degree I have ever earned. I was in competition with Joey and Alexander for the top grades.”

  “Did you glam all your professors?”

  “Nice try, for an amateur comedian. No, I did not use my influence on any of my professors. We were fair and just.”

  All of my college algebra assignments are finished in two hours. I work on all my assignments, but I am stuck reading playwrights. I try not to nod off, but this is putting me to sleep.

  Christian snickers from the corner of our room, “That is not getting your homework done. You must be reading something that is unable to grab your full attention.”

  I stand up, and give him an evil glare. I use the bathroom for the hundredth time today. When I return to our bed, I cock my head to the side to see my husband snickering in his spot.

  “Okay… what’s so funny?”

  He already wrote the page numbers down to each question on my homework. I read what he wrote, “You can find the answers to these questions on page thirty-six, fifty-two, and seventy-eight. You are making this harder than what it is.”

  I know these are tragedies. I absentmindedly ask him, “Where did you learn that at?”

  Christian scoffs at me, “I grew up there. I had the most expensive tutors during my time. I was even the top of my class in my mortal years too.”

  I eye him, and read the pages for the answers, “You realize that this is cheating.”

  Chris grins, “I am only writing the page numbers down for you. You are not receiving the answers. You have to find your own answers, and draw your own conclusions.”

  I read the book, and type my answers to each question. The next assignment is chemistry. Of course, I sail through that. Before I could put it away, he reaches over, “May I check your work for you?”

  I groan, and hand him my assignment. He quickly double-checks my answers. Every time I finish working on a homework assignment, he checks it. I move on to World History, and quickly type my answers, without even searching for them. I finish all the history quizzes and tests.

  Christian holds my hand, “Let me check, before you hit send.”

  I feel small, but he smiles affectionately at me, “Your chemistry is accurate. I am impressed that you know science quite well.”

  I grin, as he checks my history assignments. He taps on one of my answers, “You are off on one date, but the rest is right.”

  I jump up, “Which question?”

  He taps on the question, “That question has the wrong answer. That particular war did not begin for another month.”

  “Your answer is wrong, Chris! I know that war commenced in August. I am right, and I know for sure this time!”

  “Shall I ask Sam, who is right?”

  I cross my arms, but issue him a challenge, “If I am right, you will have diaper detail for a month.”

  He chortles at me, “Okay, fair enough. If I am right, you have to give me whatever I want in bed without arguing.”

  I shook his hand, as he snickers, “I know I am right.”

  My husband opens his doors, and then he yells for Sam. He enters our bedroom cocking an eyebrow. Leo trails in right behind him.

  Christian points to the question, “My wife is trying to tell me that this war commenced in August. Is she right—or is she wrong? I have it for the following month.”

  Leo peeks at the screen without a second take, “Your wife is right. Damn, she got it down to the hour!”

  Sam gazes at the question, and he snickers, “I have to declare that our princess is right this time. I am so sorry, Chris.”

  Christian groans, “No! She is not right! That is not the correct answer! I was there! There is no way she is right!”

  Sam scoffs, “I was there too, and I am telling you man, your girl is right. You must have received your orders a month later. I promise you man, she is right.”

  Christian has to search for the answer on the internet. He turns around, and he finally concedes, “You won this time, Jeannie. Damn!”

  “I hope you enjoy diaper detail for a month.” I teased my husband.

  Sam and Leo laugh, as they left our bedroom. I continue to work on accounting. I even sail through it. He sits on the bed beside me. He carefully studies each answer I put in. The next thing I feel, are his steamy lips against my neck, “I have such an intelligent wife, and you continue to impress me.”

  I shook my head. He lifts my shirt up to kiss my back. “Chris! I have a ton of homework to finish! Stop teasing me!”

  Christian pulls my shorts down. I can feel his moist lips against my tailbone, “I will distract you tonight, because I need to be inside my wife.”

  I perk up, but I try to reason with him. “I have to finish this next class. I am almost done! I promise to give you all my love and attention soon. Just let me finish this one assignment, and I will be all yours.”

  Christian removes my shorts and rips another pair of thong, “Go ahead, and finish your homework. I am not stopping you.”

  He places his hand between my thighs. He takes his thumb, and he massages my cunt. I gasp from his sexual torture. There is no way to finish my homework assignments. He places my laptop on the floor, and then he tosses the remaining books. He helps me out of my shirt, and then he yanks me down. He strips his clothes off. He spreads my legs apart, and he circles his tongue over my cunt. He continues to flick his tongue, and I am unable to contain my moans of excitement. A few more rapid flicks of his tongue, and I already suffer from a huge orgasm.

  His cock replaces his tongue, as he rams it inside. He keeps sliding his cock in, and out of me slowly. I try to hold off another orgasm, but my body automatically vibrates with pleasure. I push him down on the bed, and switch positions with him. His large hands grab my enormous breasts. After I found my rhythm, I continue to slide up, and down on his enormous shaft with intense speed. My attention remains on his face, and not our bedroom door. There are loud pounds on our door.

  Christian glances at the door, “I am almost there. Keep fucking me, and please do not stop!”

  The constant poundings on our doors are ignored, as I slide even faster on his shaft. He arches his back, and he lets out a huge moan. He grabs my hips, and he slams his cock hard. His throbbing cock causes me to reach a blissful orgasm. He jerks the covers over us, “Who is it, and what the fuck do you want?” he snaps at our bedroom door.

  “I need to have a word with the both of you. I would normally never disturb you brother, but this is really important.” Alexander answers urgently.

  Christian rolls me to the mattress, and then he lays over me. He is not happy. I can tell, by the way his lips are curling, “Come in, brother.”

  He keeps us covered. Christian doesn’t have his entire weight on me, because of my stomach. He has a leg over my hips. Alexander enters our room, and Ian follows right behind him. I try to peek at them with my head tilting backwards.

  Ian hands Christian a note, and he reads it, “What is this all about?”

  Alexander starts to pace back and forth, “I never want you to run the risk of losing both of them. If I were you, I would keep her home.”

  I study his face intently. He sends me a pang of fear. I try to sit up, “What is it Chris? What is in the note?”

  He still covers my body. I try to sit up again, but he keeps me firmly on the mattress. He stares at me with fear, “I am left with no other choice. I will do all that I can to make sure you receive your education. But, right now with the two of you, I refuse to take that risk. I am keeping you home until we catch your sister.”

  He receives a distasteful look, and then he hands me the note. This note is from my sister. She has my class schedule, and she even wrote down the times to kidnap me. She also wrote down Ember and Rosalie’s schedules.

  “Did you w
arn their husbands?” he asks Alexander.

  “Gabriel is keeping a close eye on Ember. She is trying to fight him about school. Joey automatically pulled Rosalie out of the university, unless we can come up with another plan. Sam suggests tutoring the girls here, if that is okay with you. The professors are willing to work with everyone, since they have seen what Ava is capable of doing. They will all meet here in the library. Sam will teach them everything they need to know. This is the best idea, because the girls will never separate from each other. We can beef up security with all the girls here. There is more than enough room for everyone,” Ian explains our situation. He quickly poses an alternative.

  A few minutes later, Louie runs inside our bedroom, “GUYS! Two bombs have hit the AOM and the FOL mansions!”

  I try to move again, but my husband still pinned me down, “Was anyone hurt?”

  Brannon runs in our room next, “They are safe! They were in Avalon at the time of the bombings! Blimey! She refuses to quit!”

  Alexander stare at us with sadness, “Despite recent events, I want to encourage you to bring everyone here to keep them safe from harm. I have to ask your permission first, since you are part owner of the castle. Do you want to open our doors to thirty more supernatural creatures? That makes many people, but if this keeps the girls safe, I am willing to sacrifice comfort to achieve optimum security. This is the best idea for everyone.”

  Christian stands up, and then he slides his shorts on, “As soon as they investigate their bombings, I want to meet with all the leaders. I want to be on board with everything. I am willing to keep their wives safe too.”

  Christian pulls a charcoal tank over his head.

  I point, “What about Tanya and Ransom? Did the bombings hit them? I know she had plans to return to Meropis University, after she weans their son,” I remind them.

  Christian scratches his head, “We will cross that bridge, when we get there. Ian, make sure Erik is in the library for all of the possible legal ramifications.”

  The three men leave. I have to take another shower. The Supernatural News broadcasts Ava blowing buildings up. There is a rise in unexplainable deaths in the states. They report a serial killer is on the loose. I feel that my sister is behind that too. She is a danger to everyone including mortals. I finish my homework, and put all my books away. I worry more about Tanya and Ransom, since Julius issued threats towards them. What will happen to Ember’s little brother Derek?

  Chapter 17

  My husband and his brother hold a special meeting with all the Enforcers. They agree to move us to one location to keep everyone safe. Ava is unpredictable. The fear is set in motion. All my friends finally arrive at the castle. They can even snap their suitcases here. There is another point towards being a fairy—or an angel. Rosalie has the most clothes, and shoes I have ever seen. Sam and Leo map out where everyone will sleep.

  Rosalie seems a little sad. Her belly is budding out a little. She is ten weeks along now.

  Snow and Ice wear their matching canary beanies. Sam and Leo wear their matching onyx beanies, and they help them move in.

  Gadriel groans, “Our group is moving in right now. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause any of you.”

  I notice Gabriel and Gadriel are almost alike. His hair is shorter, and a dirty dishwater blonde. He has the same eyes as Gabriel. He initiates moving the suitcases to the top floor. We have all thirty-six rooms taken upstairs by angels, fairies, and our group. The car haulers bring in their vehicles. The Enforcers show up in a large fleet of motorcycles. Leo and Snow are in heaven. I think both of them are missing the drool from the corners of their mouths. They tease, and joke around with each other. I wonder how long this will last.

  The Enforcers hire extra people to help with our current staff. They will move to the bottom floor to join the rest of our staff.

  Violet walks in, and she is infectious with her personality. She inaugurates this occasion by hugging each of us, “I have all my girls together! I am so ecstatic, and pleased that all of you are cousins!”

  Grandpa Oberon Jr. suddenly walks through our front door with his suitcases. He reminds me so much of my dad. I want to avoid him as much as possible right now. I believe we are not at the crossing point of having that discussion yet.

  Rosalie has an expression of complete exhaustion written on her face, “I will be so grateful to know what we are having. This is the most stressful part about pregnancy, because you really are unable to plan anything until you know the sex.”

  Ember has a bigger baby bump than Rosalie does, “Why not just decorate in gender neutral colors? Do you honestly have to know the sex of your baby?”

  Gabriel brings in more of Ember’s suitcases, “Ember has been in a grumpy mood as of late. The midwife recently told her to stop eating so much.”

  Ember drops her bag, “Dr. Hail is such a bitch! I am pregnant with our baby, and our baby needs all of his—or her nutrition! This is so frustrating!”

  Rosalie joins in, “That witch still has never bothered to even give us a due date! She told me to suck it up, and enjoy my pregnancy. Be glad you have Dr. Li, and not Dr. Hail, Jeannie.”

  Joey takes off his heavy coat, “She comes highly regarded. Stop complaining. I have already spent a ton of money for her. Try to relax, and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.”

  Ember takes off her jacket, “What do you plan on naming your baby?”

  Erik pauses, and then he turns his head to listen in. My head gently shakes, “I have no idea what to name him—or her. I guess we will wait until we know what we are having first. I am not good with naming anything either. I need Christian’s input to name our baby.”

  For once, we put that overabundant dining room table to work. The large mahogany table is able to seat everyone with ease, and then some. I sit next to my husband. Everyone jokes, and laughs for a change. I smile warmly at everyone.

  Violet and Rosalie help me entertain the guests with our jokes. We finish the night on a high note. I retreat to our bedroom to take a shower. My husband crawls in bed next to me.

  On Monday morning, Christian stands there at the foot of our bed with Dr. Li, “Dr. Li is here for a follow up appointment. Rosalie and Ember have asked my permission to sit in on your appointment, if that is okay with you.”

  I nod a quick yes. The girls join us to see their new cousin.

  Dr. Li smiles sweetly at me. “Your cervix is high, and closed as it should be, Mrs. Hunter. I will view the baby now.”

  She feels my uterus, and then she takes out the machine. I am still a high-risk pregnancy, because of losing the previous pregnancy. She fires up the machine, and then she squeezes the gel on the ultrasound wand. Christian sits, and he watches the television screen intently, while he picks at his lips with his fingers. Our baby has doubled in size. I peer at him. His eyes fill up with russet tears. We notice our baby has a head, legs, arms, hands, and feet. The sockets are almost set. Our baby has a pulse, which surprises everyone.

  Doctor Li grins, “If you look at the baby’s forehead, we can see that your baby is a girl. You can tell by the baby’s head shape.”

  His face changes, “How sure are you? How can you tell?”

  Rosalie opens our doors “Joey, come here quick!”

  Joey joins our room, and he studies Christian’s face. He takes pictures of his face.

  Christian appears lost, “How do you know exactly?”

  Doctor Li shows us pictures, between boy and girl babies, “Boy babies tend to have a wider forehead, and girl babies have more of an oval shaped head.”

  She continues to check our baby. Our baby is moving, and she is alive. She is there, and her heart is beating. Dr. Li points at our baby’s head again.

  Joey chuckles, and then he smacks Christian hard on the back, “Oh shit! My fairy wish actually worked. Now you will have your own girl to lock up.”

  “I wish this baby would tell me what he—or she is. I had hoped to kn
ow something by now,” Ember whines, and she is upset.

  I feel horrible for her, “I am so sorry, Ember.”

  Ember pecks my cheek, “I will be okay. I am just happy that our baby is still here, and hanging out.”

  “I have to wait to find out too. This is the most nerve-racking thing to wait for! I am not a very patient person,” Rosalie appears equally anxious as Ember is.

  Joey hugs her, “That is for damn sure! I am positive that our baby will reveal himself—or herself sooner—or later.”

  Doctor Li smiles, “Everything is fine, Princess Jeannie. I will see you in another four weeks. Your baby is matching in speed with a normal hybrid.”

  Christian pecks my cheek. Joey slaps him on the back again, “Good job, man. I am sure she will confirm it in a couple of months—or so.”

  ~~~***~~~
  We spend the rest of the week in the library. We have to listen to all those lectures from Sam. We listen intently, as the others tutor all three of us. My husband, Gabriel, and Joey watch us like a hawk. Zane takes over our chemistry labs for the second half of the day. We still have to turn in our work online.
  I yawn a few times, but my stomach hits like a bouncing rubber ball. I hold up a finger. Zane already knows what’s about to happen next. I run out of the library to throw up in the bathroom. My husband already has a washcloth, as he helps me with my morning sickness. I feel so terrible. I finish excreting the food from this morning, and I return to my seat. Violet returns with her cure. I chug it down quickly. Christian returns to his seat next to Joey. They are working on their businesses, and taking conference calls right there.
  ~~~***~~~

  The month of November ends. I help Rosalie and Ember pick out a Christmas tree. We replace the angel that normally rests on top of the tree with a gold star. Even though we are supernatural creatures, we still were mortals at one time. Well, at least I am still a mortal. Christian permits us to put the tree in the foyer next to the windows. The advantage of having a fairy and an angel, are which they can fly to put the decorations on the tree without using a ladder. Rosalie is on one side of the tree and Ember is on the other. They are constantly tossing the lights back and forth to each other. Joey, Christian, and Gabriel are out on a business call. We hook up the star.
