She whimpered as he reached her satin panties, his thumb pressing lightly against her clit. He took one breast into his mouth again as he worked at her, and he could feel Caitlyn’s arousal dampening her panties. Troy kissed his way up to her neck again, softly biting down as his hand slid beneath the satin of her panties and into her soft folds. Caitlyn was drenched for him, whimpering and writhing on the sofa. He wanted to see all that pale, pink flesh, but he wanted to make her come right now even more. His fingers slid up to her clit, and then he was trailing one finger in slow circles, discovering what she liked. Caitlyn clung to him, crying out, and he moved faster, bringing her to the precipice.

He kissed her pink lips, rubbing his fingers around her clit. A moment later, her scream filled the apartment as she shattered, crying out Troy’s name. Male pride filled his chest as he looked at her, sexily rumpled and flushed beneath him. Caitlyn was gorgeous, with her bare breasts spilling over the top of her dress and that red hair tousled like she’d been thoroughly sated.

An image flashed through his mind of Caitlyn riding him—the same thought he’d had over a month ago when they’d first met. “Come to bed with me,” he said. He’d stop if she wasn’t ready. Troy was hard as a rock, but he’d wait however long she needed.

Thankfully, she nodded, catching her breath as those green eyes met his. “Yes,” she whispered.

Troy stood, scooping her up into his arms, not even bothering to rearrange her dress. Her hands flew to her breasts as her skin pinkened. “Don’t cover yourself, Butterfly. You’re absolutely gorgeous. Breathtaking.” He lowered his mouth to kiss her, and she relaxed slightly, slowly moving her hands. Hell if this wasn’t the exact opposite of him carrying her all those weeks ago on the beach. He might’ve longed to kiss her then, but now he was going to make love to her. To finish undressing that gorgeous body and slowly drive Caitlyn out of her mind.

Troy barely glanced around her feminine bedroom. He kissed her once more and then set Caitlyn down on her feet. He ducked down and lifted the dress up and over her head, smiling as she stood there in only her satin panties. “I couldn’t wear a bra with that dress,” she said, looking self-conscious. He couldn’t resist letting his gaze rake over her entire body. She was slender but with generous curves. She had nice hips and those gorgeous, full breasts. Plus, all that red hair that fell down to her chest, teasing her nipples.

Troy lifted his shirt, loving her eyes on him. He had a six-pack and kept in top shape for his career. Nothing had ever felt as good as the way Caitlyn looked at him though. She stepped closer, her hands going to his waistband, and unable to resist, he reached out and caressed her. His thumb brushed against the side of her breast as she shivered. Ducking down for another kiss, he guided her toward the bed. “You sure about this, Butterfly?” he asked.

“Yes. I don’t have any condoms though,” she said, looking at him in a panic.

“I’ll keep you protected,” he assured her. He’d been carrying a couple of condoms in his wallet for several weeks. Undoing the button of his shorts, he unzipped his fly, groaning. His cock was pushing against the confines of his boxer briefs, aching for release. He shoved both his shorts and boxers down, his dick twitching as it sprung free. Caitlyn was starting to look nervous again, and he gently eased her down on the edge of the bed, pushing her back so her legs dangled off the side. “Let’s get these off,” he said, sliding her panties down her legs.

  “Troy—”

“I need to taste you,” he said. Before she could worry any more, he was kneeling down, putting Caitlyn’s legs over his broad shoulders. She was spread wide for him, trembling, and he couldn’t wait to show her how much she meant to him. Troy kissed her sex and then thrust his tongue inside her tight channel, feeling her slick, wet walls tighten around him. She cried out, and then he licked and laved at her, doing everything he could to drive her out of her mind. Caitlyn’s fingernails raked against his hair, and he pushed closer, spreading her even wider to him. His hands gripped her hips as he feasted on her pussy. She was crying out and thrashing on her bed as he held her there, and a moment later, she finally screamed as her orgasm washed over her.

Troy stood and quickly sheathed himself, and then he scooped her up, pulling her astride him as he lay down on her bed. “Oh,” she gasped, feeling his thick cock standing at attention.

“Ride me, Butterfly,” he said, his voice thick with arousal. “I want to see those gorgeous breasts bouncing and that red hair flying everywhere as I take you.”

She rubbed her sex against his but paused for a moment, that flush creeping to her chest again. “You want me on top? But…I’ve got big breasts.”

He eyed them. “So you do. I don’t think a man in the world would complain about that, sweetheart.”

“But they’ll—I’ll….” Troy’s gaze softened. She seemed nervous to be on top, but he couldn’t wait to see those full globes bouncing as he bucked into her.

“You’re gorgeous,” he said huskily. “Your skin is peaches and cream, with those dusky nipples and faint freckles everywhere. I want to kiss each and every one.” He lifted her forearm and brushed his mouth across it, just to prove his point. Eyeing her, he slowly kissed his way up her arm and to her chest, sitting up slightly as he went. Caitlyn whimpered, and he sucked one taut bud into his mouth. “That’s it, Butterfly,” he said as she pushed him back down and rose onto her knees.

“You’re sure about this?” she asked.

“Sure I want you on top as I make love to you? Hell, yes.”

He helped her shift upward and then sink down onto his thick length. She was tight—so damn tight. She eased down slowly, and it took everything in him to hold himself still. “Hell,” he gritted out. “You feel amazing.” She finally took all of him, crying out as her clit rubbed against his pelvic bone. He knew she was still swollen and flushed from two orgasms. And he was about to do everything in his power to give her a third. “Come on, Butterfly,” he said as she lightly rubbed against him once more. “Take what you need.”

Caitlyn began to move atop him, her breasts jiggling. Her red waves were tousled around her, and she was so flushed and pretty it made his chest ache. “I love looking at you—watching you,” he assured her. “Ride me, sweetheart.” His hands wrapped around her hips as she began to move, and then he was bucking up into her, helping Caitlyn to find a rhythm. Troy watched in fascination as her breasts bounced up and down, and he smiled at that red hair flowing everywhere. He thrust into her again and again, her body taking his cock. She was wet and warm, absolutely perfect, and he could feel her inner muscles clamping down around him. His thumb slid to her clit, and he began to strum it lightly.

  “Troy, my God! Oh!”

He took her faster, harder, taking over even though she was on top. Caitlyn’s hands fell to his chest, like she could hardly hold herself up anymore. That red hair fell around her, tickling his pecs just like he’d imagined. She was soft and sweet and sinful, not even realizing how damn beautiful she was. “Come for me,” he ordered. “Now!”

She cried out, softer than the first several orgasms he’d given her, like her body was surrendering to him—to his touch. To their joining.

Troy’s balls began to tighten, and then unable to stop, he bucked into her harder, pulling her down against him as he thrust up. He released deep in her tight channel, clutching Caitlyn to him. She collapsed on his chest, gasping, and he wrapped both his arms around her, his dick still half-hard inside her pussy.

“Oh my God,” she whimpered. “Troy….”

“I planned to go slow our first time, but I couldn’t hold back,” he admitted, his hands running all over her soft, warm skin.

“Three orgasms wasn’t slow enough for you?” she teased.

He chuckled, letting one hand trail down and cup her ass. He squeezed lightly, possessiveness rolling through him. Caitlyn was his. Her soft, curvy body was draped over his, and he wanted to keep caressing and kissing every single inch of it. She was his woman now
—his to protect and cherish. His to pleasure. He could lie here with her wrapped tightly in his arms, his cock still buried inside her, all night long.

“So what do you say?” he murmured into her ear. “Think I can officially call you my girlfriend now?”

“I think that’s a yes,” she said drowsily.

“Mmmm,” he rumbled. “Maybe you need a little more convincing?”

She turned her head, playfully nipping at his neck like he’d done to her earlier. “Give me a few minutes to catch my breath.”

  “Yes, ma’am,” he joked.

He ran his hand over her hair, and she relaxed against him more, her breathing slowing. Troy smiled as she fell into a deep sleep while still draped over his body. She was so soft and small, he’d do whatever he needed to always keep her safe. Troy pulled the covers over them, not loving anything more than the feeling of his woman safe in his arms.

  Chapter 16

Caitlyn sipped her iced coffee and playfully nudged Harper a few days later as they walked down to the boardwalk. Troy and his teammates had been training on the water all day, but Troy and Logan were meeting them for drinks. She and Troy would have dinner together afterward, and whatever happened with Harper and Logan would happen, she supposed. Maybe they’d each have a drink then leave. Maybe they’d hit it off. Maybe they’d hate each other. Troy was planning to introduce her to all his teammates in a couple weeks at some BBQ one of the guys was throwing. She was both nervous and excited. Things had steadily grown more serious between them, but after this weekend? She couldn’t wait to see him tonight.

“I can’t believe how much coffee you drink,” Harper joked, glancing over at her. “I hope you invested in Starbucks. Or Keurig for that matter.”

“It’s decaf, and yes, I’m addicted. There are worse vices,” she said with a shrug. “And you’re right—I should’ve bought stock in them long ago.”

“Now we’re talking,” Harper said with a grin. “Did I tell you I’m planning to expand my bakery?”

“What? No, you did not mention that. That’s awesome! You need a bigger space.”

“Yep. I can hardly keep up with my schedule. I did hire a new delivery person after that fiasco the night of your event on the yacht. But I’m going to hire an assistant as well. With a bigger storefront, I’ll need a cashier, too. A few people to run the up-front portion. I’ll still be taking special orders for cakes but want to have day-to-day traffic in my bakery as well.”

“Look at you going places,” Caitlyn said with a smile. She took another sip of her coffee. “I hope you hit it off with Logan tonight. I only briefly met him that one time at the beach. Troy’s been planning to introduce me to all his teammates—introduce me for real, I mean. I did meet a couple on the yacht, but that doesn’t count.”

“Tell me about Logan,” Harper said. “Is he cute?”

“Not as cute as Troy,” Caitlyn said dreamily.

Harper laughed. “I’d say you’ve got that man wrapped around your finger. Vice versa, too. Was that one or two-dozen roses he had sent to your office today?”

“Two,” Caitlyn admitted. “And he even had someone deliver an iced coffee to me earlier. Although I told him all those flowers were too much. Don’t get me wrong, they’re gorgeous, but he must have spent a small fortune on them.”

“Well, you did say he spent the night last weekend,” Harper pointed out. “That must’ve been some night.”

  Caitlyn turned red. “No comment.”

“But those are the best kind of comments,” she teased. “Well, you’d been dating a few weeks by then, right? Things usually move forward or fizzle out by then. Your relationship has clearly moved forward. And I can see why you’ve been too busy to meet his friends.”

“Oh God. I am not talking about my sex life with you,” Caitlyn muttered.

“If he’s smart, he won’t let you go. I’m glad it’s working out. You’ll be off getting married with a houseful of kids in a year or two, and I’ll still be single.”

Caitlyn laughed. “Like you said—it’s only been a few weeks. Everyone gets lovey-dovey at the start of relationships, right? We’re hardly talking marriage or kids. We haven’t seen each other since this past weekend. Even though Troy’s been crazy busy at work, he wanted to meet up tonight. I’ll see him again Friday, too. He’s planning to make me dinner this time.”

“A man who will cook for you? Nice.”

“Well, he claims he’s a terrible cook. I guess I’ll find out in a few days,” Caitlyn laughed. They stopped down near the water, Caitlyn looking around for Troy and Logan. She knew they were coming right from work and had probably hit traffic.

“Whatever happened with that whole investigation about the yacht?” Harper asked. “That shit was terrifying. I had to give a statement to the police as well, but then I never heard any updates.”

“I’m not sure, to be honest. I met with an investigator twice after I gave my report to the police, and I confirmed the identity of the gunman from the surveillance footage. The creepy thing is they think one is still missing. I know one guy jumped overboard, and they recovered his body.”

“Damn. No big loss, I guess. He did basically threaten the lives of all those people, including you.”

“Seriously. I know Troy’s been involved in the investigation since their team was sent in to rescue us. And Evelyn of course called to apologize—not that any of it was her fault. Apparently, two of the agents onboard were killed, so she and her husband felt pretty awful about the entire situation.”

“Those were the guys supposedly guarding them?

“Yep. Two others were found tied up and hidden in a storage closet.”

“Damn. And the passengers weren’t injured?”

“One of the men was shot in the leg, but surprisingly, that was the worst of the injuries. I mean, aside from them killing two federal agents, which was brutal. The gunmen seemed more intent on getting information than hurting us. Most people were just traumatized—myself included. That was by far the most terrifying night of my entire life.”

“Life is crazy. Everything seemed so normal when I delivered that cake.”

“Which we never even got to eat,” Caitlyn said. “I think they’ll eventually have a small party in their backyard when all this is over. Even if they ask me to help plan it though, I don’t think I want to be involved.”

  “I don’t blame you.”

“The day after the hijacking I was utterly terrified. I swear if Troy hadn’t shown up on my doorstep, I wouldn’t have left my house for days.”

“You’ve been doing awesome,” Harper said. “I have to admit I was worried, too. You’ve handled everything amazingly well.”

“Honestly, I’m a little worried. I’ve been so busy, it hasn’t totally sunk in yet. Troy and I started dating pretty much right away. I love spending time with him, but I’ve hardly been alone. I’m kind of worried that someday it’ll all sink in, and I’ll totally flip out.”

“You could go to counseling,” Harper suggested gently.

“Yeah. Maybe. I did finally start PT for my ankle. Between work and everything else, I’m not sure how I could squeeze counseling into my schedule. Hey, there are the guys!” Caitlyn said, a smile breaking out across her face. Troy and Logan were heading toward them, both looking freshly showered and slightly sunburnt. She didn’t know how Troy handled his very physical career. It seemed like all those guys did was train and train some more.

“Hi! What’s wrong?” she asked as the guys got closer. Troy looked somewhat tense, and although she’d only seen Logan once on the beach, he looked serious as well.

“They finished processing everything from the yacht. Some military officers’ ID cards are missing, including the admiral’s. The PD was taking a damn long time to catalogue it all, which is an entirely separate issue since the Navy wanted control. But we didn’t suspect those guys got away with anything. Most of them were killed onboard.”

  “Wow. That’s kind of
strange. Nothing was missing from my purse.”

“Yep. The wallets still had cash in them. The gunmen had collected jewelry from the hostages, but all of that was found and accounted for as well. The missing identification is a damn big problem, especially since one of the gunmen escaped at some point. Anyway, I don’t mean to be a downer,” he said, ducking for a quick kiss. “It’s just been a stressful day. I take it this is Harper?” he asked with a smile. “I’m Troy,” he said, holding out his hand.

Caitlyn introduced her friend, and she saw Logan looking at her curiously. Hopefully this night hadn’t been a bad idea. She’d love for her friend and Troy’s to date as well, but it was just drinks after all. Maybe they’d hit it off; maybe they wouldn’t.

“Shall we go grab a drink?” Logan asked. He gestured for Harper to go ahead, and the two of them began talking as they headed toward a nearby bar.

  “He seems subdued,” Caitlyn said.

“Yeah. It’s been a rough day. I’m glad as hell to see you though,” he added, ducking down for another kiss. Caitlyn’s hands went to Troy’s head, and she pulled him closer, loving as he relaxed and kissed her again. She could tell Troy was tense, and she hated that they were all still worrying about the incident from weeks ago.

“You smell amazing,” he murmured, heat in his blue eyes as he looked down at her.

“It’s that vanilla lotion,” she said.

“Well, you look good enough to eat. Think I can come over later on?”

“I thought you have to be on base early tomorrow.”

“Well, I do,” he said with a chuckle. “But I wouldn’t mind some time alone with you.”

She took his hand, tugging him along the sidewalk after Logan and Harper. “Of course you can come. It feels like I haven’t seen you in forever, although I know it’s only been a couple of days.”
