“I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”
His words from last night replayed in her mind, “I will never lie to you.” Mackenzie watched as one of his hands that were propped on her knees, slowly moved up her thigh. His finger started tracing figure eights on her bare skin, reigniting the fire within her body. I don’t stand a chance against him. I want him too much to walk away now.
“Yes… I forgive you.” She hesitantly added, “Sir.”
He froze. The way she said it, he knew what it meant. She called him Sir as confirmation that she would be his. He craved it like nothing else and her address confirmed she was willing.
She looked to the rope on the floor and then back at the man in front of her. He still looked a little wary. The heat of his hands on her legs wasn’t enough, she needed more and he needed assurance. With her heart beating wildly, she made a decision.
“Sir, please tie me up.”
One day, not so long ago, I was having a discussion about books with a friend I’d met online. I loved how in sync our opinions were on the various stories we’d read, so, out of the blue, I asked if she would consider beta reading for me. Best thing I ever did! Renee Kubisch, you are a wonder, and I thank my lucky stars every damn day that I asked you. We make such a fantastic team! And though you considered yourself ‘just a beta reader’ you have become so much more - unwittingly you have become my co-conspirator, editor and collaborator on this book and I love you for it! Even though you made me rewrite nearly the whole darn thing! I appreciate everything that you do and thank you for giving up so much of your time. I’m so happy to have you on my side and as one of my closest friends. And I thank you, in advance, for collaborating with me on my future projects too, because you’re kind of stuck with me now!
Kari, the saying is, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” But we all know books are judged in that way. If the cover doesn’t grab your attention you’re quite likely to skip over it. I’m just so pleased that my books are judged by your awesome covers. Thank you!
A very special mention to AJ Summer for the beautiful poem at the beginning of this book. You are a fabulous writer and more people need to read your work! Thank you so much for writing that for me and for wanting more Sir. I hope he left you satisfied!
Thank you to Tami for fixing up my formatting and for proof reading for me. And for your un-wavering support and friendship. So glad we finally got to meet!
Thank you Carrie for checking on my American spelling and terminology. I really appreciate your help!
Thanks to every member of my minions. Love you girls! Your support means the world to me! “Megan’s Minions Rule!”
Thanks to all of the bloggers that help spread the word, I appreciate every post, share and comment you make!
And a big thank you to every reader that has written a review for Eraser. And every one that has messaged me requesting more to Mack and Sir’s story. This is because you all wanted it!
