“Good night,” she mumbled, and the sound of their breaths echoing around her soon lulled her to sleep.
* * *
Megan awoke in the morning to the very familiar press of Eric’s cock against her ass, she smiled and stretched against him but then she jumped when she felt another hand trace up her belly before cupping her breast. Her eyes snapped open and she found herself staring into the perfectly blue eyes of Colby Warren.
“Morning.” He grinned, pinching her nipple until she hissed just as Eric’s hand slid between her thighs, brushing her clit with expert precision.
“Morning, baby,” her husband growled in her ear and she arched against his touch. His fingers started to move insistently and then her body rebelled with an urgency she couldn’t deny.
Megan grabbed his wrist, disappointed to miss out on the opportunity to share the moment a little longer, and she blushed as she spoke, “Sir, I really need to use the bathroom.”
A soft laugh came from both of them as they pulled away from her. “Go on, Megster.” Colby pushed her up and she whined at the idea of having to leave the two very naked, very hot men. She shuffled to the end of the bed and turned back to look at them, both propped up on their elbows. One dark, one light, and both perfect.
“Go, Megan,” Eric ordered, and she sighed and stood up, walking to the door. She winced in the bright light of the hall as she stumbled towards the bathroom and used it, thinking over the night before and how wonderful it had been.
Eric was always good to her, always, but Colby was something special too. Meg had missed him in the months where she had grown closer to delivery, and then there had been the exhausting months of her healing as newborn Dante took over their house. She loved that little boy more than anyone else in the world, but last night had been more than just fun, it had been restorative. It had reset the balance in her and Eric’s relationship, reminded them both of just how little they had played since Dante was born, and Colby had been a huge part of that. Colby felt like a missing piece, and she wasn’t quite sure how to voice her feelings without hurting Eric, or both of them.
As she cleaned up and stood to face the mirror, she wished she looked more like the goddess in her mind — more like what they made her feel like. Some immortal state of perfection, untouched by the strains of carrying a child, of being exhausted, of being almost thirty-three.
With a deep breath she tore her eyes from the mirror and marched back towards the playroom, pushing the door wide until the light from the hall caught both Eric and Colby leaning on their sides, mid-conversation. They had been discussing something, but they stopped short as their eyes turned to find her. Eric was broad and strong, full of the physical power she had come to revel in every day of their marriage, whether he was sitting on the floor playing daddy, or bending her over the sofa to be her Dom. Colby was carved perfection, and she knew how hard he worked at it from the few times she’d met up with him at the gym — he was a machine, and his deep cut abs and carved arms proved it.
Eric reached out for her. “Join us, baby.”
Colby did the same, his arm reaching for her like he was another limb on the same tree, and she was the missing core between them. “Come back to bed, Megster.”
She climbed on to the end of the bed, self-conscious for a moment until the saw the hunger in both of their eyes, and their cocks hardening against their thighs was a sign that was impossible to ignore. They each pulled her down, nestling her between them so they could look down on her, their hands already trailing over her skin, leaving shivers in their wakes.
“I, we, want to talk to you about something.” Eric’s dark hair fell across his forehead as she turned to look at him, and her stomach clenched at his serious tone, but then he smiled. “How do you feel about last night?”
Meg glanced over at Colby, his messy blond hair, his baby blue eyes, and felt the tension inside her ratchet up further, because she wanted him. Leave it to Eric to pluck the thoughts from her head, he always seemed to know what she was thinking before she did. She rolled her eyes to tear them from Colby and tried to laugh. “I enjoyed it, obviously. Does Colby need another ego boost?”
Eric touched her chin, turning her to face him completely. “Colby’s ego is just fine, trust me, and I enjoyed it too, baby. A lot, actually.” He grinned, his dimples punching into his cheeks, and then his next words tore the air from her lungs. “Is playing with Colby something you’d like to do more often?”
Yes! She wanted to shout it, but her nerves stalled her tongue. Where was her quick wit when she really needed it? And what would happen if she were to tell him just how much she wanted to see Colby again?
“Megan, just be honest with us. You know that’s rule number one in our house.”
Colby brushed her cheek and Eric let him turn her face towards his. “There’s no wrong answer here, Megster. Would you like me around more? You’re not going to hurt my feelings.”
It wasn’t his feelings she was worried about.
Meg turned back to Eric, searching his dark eyes for confirmation that what she felt was okay. Some kind of verification that he really wanted her honesty. All she saw shining back at her was how much he loved her, and all she could think about was how he did everything he could to make her happy. If anyone would listen to what she had to say, really listen, it was Eric. She took a shaky breath and nodded. “I would.”
“You’d like it if he was with us more often?”
She groaned, hiding her face behind her hands as a blush burned up her cheeks, and then she nodded again. “Yes! How many times do you want me to say it? I would.”
Colby’s grin was deviant when he pulled her hands away and pinned one wrist beside her. “What about a whole lot more?”
Eric grabbed her other wrist, dragging it over her head to hold it there. She turned to look at him, seeing the same devilish grin that she’d fallen in love with all those years ago. “Or, something like… every day.”
“What?!” Megan tried to sit up in shock, but they had her pinned down.
“Colby’s lease on his house is up next month, and we were talking a couple of weeks ago and the idea came up that he, and Caroline, could move in here. With us.” Eric paused, waiting for her to react, but it was like something inside her head had fallen over and her thoughts were too scattered.`
“Wha— I mean, how did this come up?” She laughed a little at the absurdity of it, and then she looked at Colby to see his face looking incredibly serious. Meg turned back to Eric and while he was smiling, it wasn’t playful.
They aren’t joking.
“It came up because Colby hasn’t exactly been happy with his prospects in the dating scene. In fact, he hasn’t really been dating at all.” Eric grinned and looked up at Colby as he groaned.
“Really, Eric? What happened to the bro code?”
“Bro code doesn’t apply when you’re naked in our bed. The honesty rule applies to you too, bro, so man up and tell her what you told me.” Eric’s voice had the edge of a command in it, and Colby folded under the pressure of it just like she usually did.
Colby’s fingers brushed her cheek lightly, trailing over her lips before he sighed. “I haven’t been dating anyone, Meg. Not for a long time.”
“Because?” Eric prompted and Colby shot him a look before returning his eyes to her. Butterflies were caught in a hurricane inside her as she waited for him to speak again.
“Because no one compared to you, Megan.” The edge of his mouth lifted in a lopsided smile, and he shook his head and her heart stuttered. “I tried, I did. After the reunion I couldn’t stop thinking about you, but you and Eric were meant to be. I knew that, and so I went on a few dates. I tried to make it work with a few women, but… none of them were you.”
Megan felt like the world had just shifted violently, and she had a sudden urge to pinch herself because there was no way that Colby Warren, one-time playboy of Whittaker High, was saying that he wanted her. Really wanted her. Impossible. “Yo
u want me?”
He grinned. “I thought that was extremely obvious, Megster.”
She turned to look at Eric, concern for him warring against the fluttering excitement inside her brought on by Colby’s confession. “Eric? You’re okay with this?”
Eric smiled and leaned down to kiss her softly. “Baby, I’m the one that made the offer to him. I love you—”
“We both love you,” Colby added, tilting her face back to his for a moment, and her eyes widened. Eric laughed and turned her back to him, brushing over the incredible words that had just left Colby’s lips.
“And that’s why this works, it’s why it will work. We both love you, and the three of us have something here that I’m not going to ignore any longer out of some traditional belief of what relationships or families are supposed to look like.” He smiled down at her, lust and joy radiating from him. No jealousy, no bitterness — just lust, and joy, and love. “The only question is whether or not you want it.”
“Are you kidding me?” Megan laughed and tugged at her hands until they released her. She sat up and grabbed Eric’s face, kissing him hard. His tongue met hers as he wrapped an arm around her back to pull her tight against him. She pulled back to stare into his eyes, breathing hard as the reality of what they were offering set in. “Yes, I want this. I want all of it, both of you.”
When she turned to look at Colby he was right next to her and she slid from Eric’s arms to climb onto Colby’s lap. Meg placed her hands on either side of Colby’s face, and he looked almost sheepish as he lifted his eyes to hers, his hands resting on her hips. “I love you too, Colby. I think I have for a long time, but I didn’t know how to voice it. I didn’t know what to say, or if I could say it.”
“I knew that already, baby, and I love Colby too.” Eric laughed and shoved Colby’s shoulder when he grinned wickedly. “In a bro way, don’t get any ideas about this crossing over.”
“It’s okay to be attracted to me, Eric. I’m hard to resist.”
Megan laughed and pulled Colby’s face back to hers. “You really haven’t been dating? All this time?”
“I told you, Meg. No one compared to you, no one else made me feel the way you did. The way you do.” He traced his thumbs over her waist, his voice soft and vulnerable. “Why do you think I was coming by all the time with presents for Dante when you were pregnant? Bringing ice cream for you? Why do you think I’ve brought Caroline over at least once a week since he was born? I hate being away from you, and even though it pisses Eric off — well, maybe because it bugs Eric so much — I like taking care of you. I love that look in your eyes when I do something for you and it makes you happy.”
“It only bugs me because I’m her Dom, and that’s my job.” Eric lifted an eyebrow at him, but quickly broke the serious stare with a smile.
“Too bad, because you’re going to have to share the job of making Megster happy. Although I can’t compete with you on the Dom thing, you’ve got that nailed down to a science.” Colby laughed, and Meg did too. “Plus, it’s really hot.”
“It absolutely is.” Eric brushed his hand down her back, shifting until he was next to Colby so she could see them both side by side. Dark and light, and both hers. Just like she was theirs. Then, he cleared his throat. “Just remember our deal.”
Colby rolled his eyes. “You’re still her primary, I know. I never wanted to get between you two. Hell, I went out of my way to try and avoid it! I’m just glad you’re willing to have me around as well, to let me take care of her too.”
“I like both of you taking care of me, and I want to make you both happy as well.”
“That’s easy. Just be you, Megster.”
“Baby, you’ve been making both of us happy without even trying. This is just making it a little more official.” Eric’s words made the rest of the world come into view as their new little reality became more real.
“Wait, how in the hell are we going to explain this?” Megan groaned and dropped her head against Colby’s chest, and his arms wrapped around her as Eric leaned over to press a kiss to her hair.
“We don’t have to explain ourselves to anyone.”
“Like my parents, and your mom, and Colby’s parents aren’t going to ask about Colby and Caroline moving in? And Caroline is ten! We’re going to have to tell her something!” Meg felt a new sense of panic surging inside her, but Colby just squeezed her tighter.
“I’ve already figured that out, Megan. I’ve been telling my mom and dad for a month or so that I’m thinking of saving up for a house, and this is going to be a perfect solution. Room with you guys, I can help out with Dante, you can help me out with Caroline. She already loves you and she’s starting to talk about boys and it makes me nauseous.”
“And it means you won’t be doing everything by yourself when I have to stay in Atlanta over night,” Eric added. “You’ve got so much on your plate with school and work and our family, and Colby will mean we have another set of hands.”
“My hands are very happy to be helpful, by the way.” Colby squeezed her hips.
“Wait, so what happens when Colby never moves out?” Meg sat up in his lap, and Colby just shrugged, that deviant smile on his face.
“We’ll deal with that later, because I don’t plan on going anywhere.”
“We have enough rooms in this place for Caroline to have her own room next to Dante’s, and I’m going to change the office downstairs into Colby’s room so there won’t be any questions around that.” Eric brushed her hair back from her face and cupped her cheek. “As far as other questions, or rumors, who the hell cares? I want us all to be together.”
“Just to be clear, I’m totally not sleeping in that room. I like having you next to me too much.” Colby’s hand landed on the other side of her face and he pulled her to his lips to kiss her. It was soft, but confident, and it felt like a promise.
“With two kids in the house we’re going to have even less time to play, you know that right?” Megan asked, looking at them both.
“Don’t worry, we can always get another night off when we want to use the play room and really give us all some stress relief. You know our parents have been begging to keep Dante.” Eric seemed to have an answer for everything.
“We’re really going to do this,” Meg breathed as she leaned back from Colby. Her eyes drifting back to Eric and he leaned over to tug her onto his lap.
“Didn’t I promise on our wedding day that our life would always be an adventure and that I’d make sure you were the happiest woman on the planet?”
“I was standing next to him when he said it, and I helped him write them, those words were definitely in his vows,” Colby added and she grinned at him.
“I remember, I was there too.” She took a deep breath and then Eric pulled her into another kiss before tilting her back off his lap so he could cover her on the bed. His knees landed between hers, spreading her wide, and she felt his cock pressing into her thigh.
“So, tell me, are you the happiest woman on the planet?”
Meg grinned, staring into Eric’s eyes before glancing up at Colby as he settled next to her. “I don’t think I could be any happier.”
“That sounds like a challenge,” Colby’s voice was rough with lust, and it sent a rush of heat to pool between her thighs.
“I agree, Colby. Let’s see what we can do about making her a little happier.” Eric growled as he thrust inside her, and she moaned, turning to see Colby stroking his hard cock. She wanted to taste him, and a moment later he was guiding himself towards her lips, and the two of them spent the next hour making sure she was extremely happy.
Then again, a dozen orgasms will do that to a girl. Especially when that girl’s lucky enough to have the two loves of her life making very sure that not another day would go by where she didn’t feel loved and cherished.

There aren’t enough thanks in the world for every person who has made this possible. Every reader on Amazon and back on the days of Lit, every author I’ve had the fortune to chat with and get to know, and my amazing editor who encourages me (even with all my dark and twisty) and helps me get better with every chapter I write. I do thank you though, each of you, from the bottom of my dark little heart. This one is fun, lovelies, but I promise the ending is sweet, you just have to get through the dark first.
Chapter One
February 11th
“Heather, you can’t keep waiting around like the perfect someone is just going to fall into your lap.”
“Uh huh.” With an eye roll Heather avoided Theresa’s glare as she pulled her coat tighter around her. The weather was frigid, but there was no way Heather was sitting inside the packed coffee shop with her cousin.
Loud, insane, Theresa?
She didn’t exactly play nice in public. Ever.
Luckily, no one else was dumb enough to sit outside in February, because most people didn’t have a cousin like Theresa who didn’t know the meaning of whispering. Before Heather could even take a sip of her coffee, she started in on her again.
