This is the last thing I wanted, and thankfully Joseph knows that.
"No ma'am," Joseph replies, "Just a standard patrol. We had a prisoner who was a person of interest. We believed he might know of Princess Gertrude's where-abouts, but he has escaped in the night."
"I did not ask you; you fool. I asked the King." Her fury at Joseph speaking for me evident in her voice, she turns back to me. "You suspect you are able to find her?"
"I don't know, Evalyn. What Joseph has just told you is the truth. We currently do not know where she is, we haven't known for four years now."
That ungrateful bitch, she had everything, and she has runaway twice? She is a Princess, had everything at her fingertips, and even had the chance to marry Him, and she turns it all way for a bushman? I will get to the bottom of this.
The Story continues in

For Katrina, Aleks, Lukazs, Tiarne, Hoff, Jean, Sonia and countless others, thank you for always cheering me on and encouraging me.

About The Author
Heidi grew up in south-west Sydney, Australia, and now lives in the Southern Highlands of NSW with her marvellous boyfriend, Hayden. Heidi is a dog mum to two beautiful, attention loving girls, Amber and Daisy. She is 24 and has 2 brothers and a sister.
Heidi had difficulties learning and maintaining the standard literacy and numeracy requirements in school, until she found her love for reading. It all started with a cringe worthy obsession over a certain Edward Cullen, which has fuelled Heidi to go on to reading 200+ books a year.
With a passion for reading, Heidi began writing short stories, and has always had an overactive imagination. Heidi comes across as a loud, boisterous person, who is actually a shy girl terrified of rejection. This fear held Heidi captive for a long time and prevented Heidi from sharing any of her work - until now.
"Bite the bullet" is a term often used in Heidi's family. Heidi is now taking that step out of her comfort zone, and self-publishing her first complete book - The Princess and The Lumberjack. Heidi hopes you enjoy! Please leave any feedback or reviews for Heidi, as that is how authors are better able to reach their readers.
