About the Author
Avery Katz is a San Franciscan intellectual who loves tropey romance. She grew up reading historicals a la Judith McNaught and Loretta Chase, but after reading her first gay romance in her early twenties, she knew she’d found her genre. To her, gay romances aren’t just romances—they’re also inspiring coming-of-age stories that just so happen to have that same forbidden love element that’d kept her flipping pages when she was 13. Her favorite stories are those that feature characters who learn to be unafraid to be themselves and go after what they want in love and in life. She strives to add that same spontaneity, strength, and sincerity in her own books.
